More or less. I believe we tend to use college/international overtime rather than NFL overtime, though.

No, because the Quebecois Police is already doing the job. It's just some events are beyond their control, like that truck running into the stadium one time

Should there be any event that can possibly lead to possible disasters (lynching between stands), the Quebecois Army will be dispatched to the site.

How exactly would a giant truck get into the stadium? I am RPing about it, but I'm trying to come up with a believable way that a semi could get into a stadium in the first place. Open gate, maybe?

As they exited the tunnel, large explosions rocked the line to the right and left. They looked like bombshells but blew up like confetti, covering the team in blue and red patches of colored paper.

I really don't know about Bazookas being used in that way but okay....

quite frankly it's pretty fucking stupid to have to RP bazookas being fired at my team. so in response to a really stupid "match event", i offer you a really stupid RP. i'm gonna take this as seriously as you do, captain.

i realize that having these random things happen is a lot of fun and has potential for entertaining RP's but it is seriously going to suck if this gimmick keeps up for the duration of the World Bowl. my whole story here is a quarterback coming back from a nearly life-threatening injury and the first matchday has them sustaining bazooka fire? are you kidding me? i thought the world bowl was supposed to be the world cup of american football. not some sort of circus

EDIT: also, I explicitly listed NO INJURIES TO MY PLAYERS in my RP sheet. are you saying that as host you are trying to forcefully injure players by having bazookas fired at them? the only thing I can do is write some corny RP that ends up with my players avoiding injury.

If you don't like the match event you're not being forced to RP on it. It's an extra RPing opportunity that you could have chosen to ignore altogether and just RP it as if nothing's happened.

As of this, I've offered additional RPing opportunities as this for few main competitions, including a BoI, a WJHC and maybe one of 2 WCoHs I co-hosted and have received no comments about people having problems with it. If you don't like it, go ahead and just not RP on it. No one's forcing you to. NSSport is not required to be realistic and you know that.
