Big congrats to my vanquisher Cosumar on reaching the CoH quarterfinals. After getting screwed in qualifying, I'd say you more than deserve a trophy at this cycle's end! I'll be rooting for you!

I appreciate the sentiment though. Thanks for providing good opposition twice. I think a Cup of Harmony Finals would make up for a historically bad qualifying, so I'll be rooting for myself too :lol:

You totally need to use that as your national team's nickname. I think the Cosumar Vanquishers would be worth a goal start!

Hey all, here comes the manager train again!

Something rather unexpected has happened, Szavoda has become quite good at football. We've made the quarter finals of the CoH, something that I had never planned on, and we could well see a startling jump in the rankings. Therefore, I've decided that I'm going to have a 'Professional Revolution' in Szavda football, which, amongst other things, will require a manager who actually knows about football. No-one in Szavoda knows about football, so we're looking elsewhere for a coach. TG me if you think you might have an applicant. Preferably, they would have international experience, although this is not paramount (it could be a good place for a young manager to blood themselves). I don't care about the style, and they would be RPd extensively. Again, TGs to me.

EDIT: Well, I'm out, but we're still in the market.

Looks like I'll be adding to the manager train.

The ZFAF has announced the "stepping down" of Manager Joseph Michael Sanders, the first-ever manager of the Survivors and winner of the 55th Baptism of Fire. He has declared he would be willing to move on to manage any nation as long as he is allowed to be accompanied by his long time assistant, Dmitri Golovkin, his calm and collected counterpart. Sanders is known to suffer from a mild case of anxiety disorder. Sanders will turn 53 and Golovkin will be 44 by the time WC73 qualifiers begin.

With this announcement, the ZFAF also officially announces its search for Sanders' replacement as Manager of the Zenician National Team. The new manager must be from a nation in the top 80 and willing to work with Zenician legend Luke Killian as their assistant manager. Any and all inquiries should be sent via TG or IRC.

Once upon a time, I used to RP in these forums quite a bit.
Trying to mount a little comeback, good to see you all are still here (well some people come and go, but I still recognize a lot of names)

Equestrian States had a number of RL issues over the period from the end of World Cup 71 to the end of World Cup Qualifying. First, he was extremely busy with RL and had no time for NS. Then, he had no electricity for a week. Then, his laptop had a hard drive crash and the DBC files (among numerous other files) were lost in that crash.

So, to make a long story short, the DBC host basically disappeared for over a month while he was also co-hosting the World Cup, leaving Valanora to scorinate all of qualifying by herself. Last I heard, he was planning to scorinate the rest of it in 1 go.

Fair play, I'd probably do that myself with all that happening, as it'll soon be time for DBC35 Signups
