I will try and get a Holy Empire roster up for the CoH later today, but I have no idea how much of an internet connection I'll have once I'm in Misiones Province. It's also going to take me a long time to get there (it's a 26-28 hour journey tomorrow). This may have a negative impact on my CoH participation.
Still, I couldn't RP because I was hunting Nazis on the Argentina-Paraguay border' is likely the best excuse for not RP'ing in the history of the WC and its associated events, so I hope we can all live with that.

It's not related to the thread itself, but when the show will air. I liked watching History Channels, especially shows such as Ancient Aliens, Forged In Fire, Modern Marvels, etc.

That documentary that is trying to disprove Hitler's suicide? And that he went to hide to Argentina?

1) I've made it clear to the producers that I strongly disagree with their editorial line, and that I'm only participating on the condition that I am not forced to agree with their editorial line. Nonetheless, I have no illusions that my participation will change the view that they're presenting.
2) I know the archaeologist running the site in Misiones Province personally, and he also disagrees strongly with the producers' editorial line; he is highly respected internationally, and he isn't responsible for their deliberate misinterpretation of his archaeological evidence.
3) I agreed to participate despite these strong misgivings because my professional organisations were unanimously of the opinion that it's best to have someone with relevant expertise on site who can at least help ensure the actual archaeology is shown correctly, even if the subsequent interpretations are rubbish.
4) 'Documentary' is admittedly probably too kind a word to use here.
And no, before anyone asks, that wasn't me in the first series; I had no role in the first series.
That outlined, I'd be grateful if we could turn this thread back towards WCC events rather than what I'm doing in Argentina for the next 10 days or so.

Misiones? I thought he was in Bariloche.
However, if you go to Puerto Iguazu you should visit the falls.

We've been going at about a 3 cycle per year pace for the past 2 years. World Cups 69 and 70 were delayed due to lack of bids (and also a desire, in the former case to avoid running the World Cup simultaneously with FIFA's World Cup) and that, more or less, became the norm afterward. The idea behind slowing everything down was to reduce the number of veterans burning out, but it seems to have done nothing of the sort and has probably been one of several factors toward the decline in activity levels on this sub-forum in recent years. 3 years ago, we had a record 202 nations in the summer World Cup and that record would have been easily broken 2 years ago if the signups for World Cup 69 had been open for longer than 2 weeks. Now, we've had 142 nations signed up for the World Cup for 3 consecutive World Cups and that's with the hosts basically leaving signups open until the qualifying draw. Nor is this just affecting the World Cup, as those that enter tournaments for other sports and have been around for a few years can attest.
Yet, although slowing down the pace of World Cup cycles (and thereby slowing down the pace of this entire sub-forum) has done exactly the opposite of what was promised by its advocates back in the day (and I was actually one of the proponents of it, at one point), its probably impossible to change things back to how they were.
