To be fair, that is (kind of) the case among CONMEBOL national teams and, to my limited knowledge, the CAF.

I'm vaguely aware of this, but when you're from Europe that all seems a bit daft.

I liked the people looking at Costa Rica (who were fantastic, I'm not denying that) and calling for more CONCACAF entries when it... would have been a team worse than Honduras, probably the worst team to qualify.

But yeah, the regional thing's far more an OOC than IC thing, at least with me - it's not like Nephara's exactly got the warmest feelings towards Gregoryisgodistan or the HRE.

Is there anybody in Esportiva who (ICly) has warm feelings for the HRE (well, other than Acedonia)?

For me it extends to IC as well. If I remember correctly I RP'd Felix loving the fact Esportiva was finally becoming relevant in the World Cup. p

Well, who holds the record for most games played in the most successful region without ever conceding a goal? Probably us. Then again, we've also never scored. Two scoreless draws, one at Arch during WC 67Q, and one at THE this cycle. We've also played The Archregimancy twice at a neutral site during CoH 61, splitting the two meetings. We won in the semifinals though, and that's when it counted.

The Federación Guayabalense de Fútbol, after finishing its professional relationship with Mathias Paatelainen and Emmanuel Inzer due to his fail on meeting the expectations required by the Federation Council, announces that the position of manager is now open to those who are interested for the position of Manager and Assistant Manager of the National Team.

The FGF needs a previously well RPed manager (not one who appeared suddenly nor demanding to be one with a extremely large RP) with a strong character and discipline, well known for his/her competitiveness in football, preferably a person who played football previously and then retired by personal or injury reasons, has managed a National Team or one team into the best 25 associations in UICA (Just considering associations that partakes of the World Cup Qualifiers), somebody who has a marked game system that identifies him/her, be it offensive or defensive (no explicit preferences there.)
