Poor, beleaguered, war-torn, but recently massively expanded in terms of territory Mtoleague time! If the awful standard of play doesn't get you, the crowd violence certainly will. Assuming the games even go ahead.

FC1. Surtsey Island Gulls 1-0 SK Franz Josef City
(P Ernberger 63')

The seventh Vennskap Shield was one that will be forever remembered for the controversial exchanges of players between these two clubs in the off-season. FC1. Surtsey Island Gulls' successful title defence, coupled with their Latitude Cup win to make it a Double, meant that we must turn to the team that finished second in the league for their Vennskap Shield opposition. By predictable and happy coincidence, this happens to be the team they beat in last season's edition - SK Franz Josef City.

Now, a lot has happened off the pitch since this time last season, and as the teams lined up in this fine city of San Salvador, this centre of Guayabalense sport, there was one man whose absence from both rosters was conspicuous. Gustaf Kolehmainen has, for reasons still not fully understood by his previously loyal fans, decided he could no longer stay in Surtsey. A series of quite catastrophic personal issues led him to this decision, and SK were the only team willing to pay Surtsey's valuation once they knew the star wanted out. Reluctantly, Surtsey's star asset was sold to their biggest domestic rivals in a move that wasn't without controversy, and just as it looked like legal action would be undertaken between the two clubs a certain Patrick Ernberger moved in the other direction for a teeny tiny fee and the legal action suddenly disappeared. Funny that. The signing of Kolehmainen boosts SK's roster to frankly astonishing levels, but he was deemed too unwell to even travel to Esportiva, perhaps sick just at the thought of playing his former side so soon, and so he remained at home and off both rosters.

It is fortunate perhaps, then, that the game will be remembered for the off-pitch events, because events on the pitch were of a distinctly dour nature, perhaps an indication that these two teams have played each other an extraordinary amount over the last few seasons, and that they just know each other too well. First half highlights are slim on the ground, truth be told, but special mentions must go to Moses Luc Bjerregaard, who lit up the first half with a string of exciting runs down the right that almost led to strikers Pedrinho and Mitchell getting a tap in past Kirilaunen.

In the second half, there was just an air of desperation from the SK strike-force, perhaps a symptom of the fact they don't think there will be space for both of them plus Kolehmainen in the starting line-up this season, leading to some pot shots from distance going to waste and gifting possession back to the Gulls. The Gulls themselves had already shown their hand in terms of their replacement for Kolehmainen meanwhile, by substituting new signing Arturo Hudson-Blake on at half time in place of Blockhead striker Einarsson, and he almost made an instant impact by heading just over from Coupet's tempting cross.

As the game got heated and the cards started getting handed out, the Gulls scored the only goal of the bad-tempered game. How fitting, also, that in a match dominated by the shadow of one player who moved between the teams, it should be the other player that popped up from Klaus Just's corner in the sixty-third minute to score his, and the Gulls', first goal of the season. Patrick Ernberger gave a fine and mature performance at right back throughout the match, and even though he is more used to being a centre-back it could be that we see him filling in for the ageing Montemayor with increasing regularity this coming season.

SK Franz Josef City would throw on young striker Amyr Rosenmeyer late on in an attempt to equalise things up, but it wasn't to be, and despite dominating the possession in the last twenty minutes or so, they couldn't find a way past Surtsey's defence, and the Gulls became the second team to lift the Vennskap Sheild, after their opponents managed it two seasons ago, but are the first team to retain the silverware.

After the match there were the usual presentations to the charitable organisations at home and here in San Jose Guayabal who will benefit from the proceeds of tonight's match, but the important action had already happened on the pitch. If it is to be indicative of the season to come, then we're in for a tense one as these two giants of the current Polarian game size each other up after trading blows both on and off the pitch over the last two years.

This very disappointing post to indicate that the Buyan Football League still exists...

TOP DIVISION

Top Division Pld W D L GF GA Pts
1 Bengtsmark IF 22 14 2 6 45 33 44
2 Viztourzys Kolektyvinis 22 11 8 3 25 15 41

12 IFK Pollmarnang 22 5 3 14 24 41 18

The eternal champion, Viztourzys Kolektyvinis only lost thrice this season, but their former offensive wealth couldn't deal with the panzer defenses their opponents showed season after season. This allowed Bengtsmark IF to grab the national title and they deserved so. Led by a virtuous Tullio Schi and a reborn attacker, Edvald Mattisson who found a new partner in the duo Ramunas Paulas and Felipe Maniche, they were the only one to have a consistent season. In the background, Blau-Weiss started out well but couldn't really challenge for the first place. Torspeda, with the national top scorer Juha Pentanen in their ranks, gathered the Globe Cup ticket they deserved. After a long and fierce battle, Tjelberg had the best end sprint once Sil Moen got rid of his injuries and came in fifth.

It's baaaaack. Yup, another season of Felixian football is back and ready to burden you, the fan, with new teams to support, new coaches to hate and new players to root for. Now why do I say new teams to support? Well the FFA (Felixian Football Association) added new teams obviously. That's right, the two leagues expanded to 18 teams which mean . Which means that there is going to be huge changes in terms of tournament structure. In Copa Félix all 36 (32 actually but we will get to that in a sec) teams in Felixian club football will be playing and will have a chance to make it to the CEdC and/or Cygnus Cup. Due to odd number of teams potentially competing in the Copa Félix, the FFA has decided that there will be a round robin styled playoff to decide the final four contestants in a 32 team tournament. The round robin tournament happens before the actual season starts so basically (for the bottom 12 teams) this is a preseason. This year, the 8 new clubs and the 4 bottom feeders will compete for those three spots but starting next year the bottom 12 teams in the FFL will be in that playoff to qualify for the playoff. This season will be longer as well as 34 games will be played. The top four teams in the FFL will go to the Series B Cup and the top three teams in the FCL will go to the Globe Cup. First place obviously gets to go to the Champions Cup and is crowned champion. Good luck to all the teams in the FCL and FFL, you're gonna need it.

And now, with out further delay. The 125th year of Felixian Club Football has commenced! Starting with the playoff to qualify for the playoff.

And there you have it, the 2014-2015 season. We saw many surprises. Namely, the fall of Altomare whose new Sideburnese manager, Darren Freepress failed to meet expectations and will most likely receive the axe if he can't lead, the shadow of it's former glory, Altomare side to a CEdC victory. Many speculate that surprise manager of the year, Frederick Clay of Oceania (oddly enough his team lost against Altomare in the Copa Félix final) will be Freepress's replacement. In other news Oxford City got a first place promotion adding humiliation to Cato and her fans since their former manager, Thomas Hult led another team to first division glory. To make matters worse Junfan, their farm team, finished 2nd, four places better that parent team. So to say this season was a topsy turvy one is an understatement.

But let's not just look at the teams and managers let's look at the players. Atem Villareal a player who has no homeland performed with his heart out and did spectacular for his new home Unión Española, who got a fourth place finish nabbing their first promotion in their first try. He really deserved all the awards and praise he received. Looking at the first division. We see a young and exciting German American player Konrad Meisenhal dazzle everyone in the FCL and nab several awards. But don't let the foreigners piss you off (I am looking at you Nationalists) we had some great domestic talent. Hanna Frei is proving to be a perfect replacement for Luca Esser and Nikolaas Van Oirschot has proven to be a dark horse candidate to get in the national team next year.

Ok, that's all we Felixians got to offer in terms of domestic club football. I hope anyone reading this enjoyed the report. We wish our representatives in multiversal tournaments thrive and win all the possible glory for Felix. Until next season! Good bye from here in Felix.

Felix (FEL) qualifiers
Champions’ Cup: Real Santa Maria
Globe Cup: Sporting Volker, Oceania, Universidad de Santander
Series B Champions’ Cup: Oxford City, Junfan, Uníon Temuco, Unión Española
Youth Cup: Real Santa Maria
CEdC: Altomare, Oceania
Cygnus Cup: Altomare

Felix (FEL) final site bid
Cygnus Cup: Stadia Volker - capacity: 90,000
Ah Stadia Volker, the crown jewel stadium of the German speaking area of Felix. This stadium was built when Felix was opening up to the multiverse and is still very much new and clean. The design of the stadium both combines the style of Felixians love and the nature Felixians vow to protect. The stadium can fit 90,000 people with 5,000 of that total amount staying in luxury suites. Stadia Volker also has state-of-the-art draining systems that can drain out rain from above. Overall this is probably one of the best stadiums in Felix. In the city of Volker you can expect to speak either German, English or Polish. But there are other languages that can be heard in Volker, namely Dutch, Spanish, Catalan and Italian. Volker does have the capacity to hold fans of both finalists in the Cygnus Cup all hotels/motels range from cheap yet reliable to expensive but extremely luxurious.

As per these posts: Preview Part One Part Two Part Three Coupe du Yttribia (Domestic Cup)

Yttribia (YTT) qualifiers
Champions’ Cup: Fontvieille FC
Globe Cup: AC Zevella, FC Delare Minon, Gremalsco FC
Series B Champion's Cup: FC Olivera, CF La Halda, Aturra SC, FC Cove Dimond

CEdC: Fontvieille FC, Stemanisis SSC
Cygnus Cup: Stemanisis SSC

Nexxus Cup: Stemanisis SSC
Kylx Kup: Dep. Bosques Verdes

Yttribia's (YTT) Final Site Bids
Champion's Cup: Stadii Ximena, Telino, Penedès, capacity of 77,900
Image

Having previous experience hosting the final match in the ninth edition of the Campionato Esportivano di Campeones, Stadii Ximena is known as one of the premier stadiums in all of Esportiva. Known to locals as Frozen Hell, the high gusts arriving from the oceanside make the Stadii Ximena, named after the famed leader who led Yttribia to glory and prosperity a millennium ago, a total nightmare to visiting teams playing against football club Telino, and less of a nightmare to fellow Telinian club, Ximena SC. However, during the warmer months of the year, Stadii Ximena becomes one of the most beautiful places to play in, after a recent poll by players, fans, and coaches, for the second season in a row. Located just outside of Telino city limits, the stadium has various ways to arrive, via the National Interstate, or the Yttribian Express, the national railroad carrier, or even through the Telino BajoTierras, as the penultimate stop before arriving to the airport. Despite it's location, it makes up for this by having wireless internet connections throughout the entire stadium, various local shacks that can only be found in Telino and inside the stadium, and various pubs inside as well. The stadium has two JumboTrons on home and away sides, and a hospitable experience there.

Globe Cup: Le Nid Violet, Fontvieille, Fontvieille Capital District, capacity of 81,800.
Image

Located in downtown Fontvieille, Le Nid Violet is considered one of the most technologically advanced stadiums in all of Esportiva. Having hosted the finals of the Forty-Ninth Series B Champion's Cup, as well as the fourth Youth Cup semi-finals and finals, Le Nid Violet seeks to show the entire multiverse on this stadium. The brand new home of Fontvieille FC, the stadium has twelve press boxes present, forty-eight luxury suites, and 71,000 other seats, making the stadium one of high quality. Accessibility of the stadium is highly easy, thanks to the multiple Fontvieille Metro lines running under the stadium. Due to the government's encouragement of public transportation, parking is limited. Because of this, supporters of clubs are highly encouraged to take public transportation to the stadium. The retractable roof allows the beautiful game to be played on real grass, allowing enough sunlight to strike the field. Various high-quality restaurants, and pubs with breweries are located within walking distance, to celebrate the win, or loss.

Series B Champion's Cup and Youth Cup: Mosson Cliff, Gaillard, Vauchel, capacity of 49,812
Image

This state of the art stadium is one of the premier pitches in the entire Yttribian Premiership, when it comes to the atmosphere. The oldest stadium in the Vauchel region, it is home to recently relegated club AC Gaillard. Despite the fact that the nation played host to the Series B Champion's Cup two seasons earlier, the stadium is one of the most revered in the entire nation of Yttribia, as it considered hollowed ground to most of the nation. Located in the heart of downtown Gaillard, the stadium is known for its famous food stands that surround the stadium on game day, and the courteous fans of AC Gaillard. It is served by the Gaillard BRT, and is a five minute walk from the National Railway station located in Gaillard, specifically apart of the Fontvieille-Zevella line. The stadium has two screens in which the game is displayed, and various accommodations to make the fan's experience much more enjoyable. UICA officials will be provided with a complimentary press box for the Serie B Champion's Cup.

Cygnus Cup: Casa Naranja, Stemanisis, Fresnosa, cap. 55,000
Image

If you asked every single Yttribian who has gone to a match between two teams in the Yttribian Premiership, and you asked them "Is there a stadium that you would be scared to travel to?", their answer would be this one. Voted as "The Scariest Place in Football" by regional football fans from all across Esportiva, this is considered the most rowdy stadium in all of football. Nevertheless, this only applies to Stemanisis SSC matches, because the fans themselves are quite friendly when it comes to regular matters. The stadium is considered one of the most hollowed places to play in, and the atmosphere around the stadium is also one of the best. With eight press boxes, six broadcasting booths, and fifty-thousand seats, this house is really going to be rocking come Cygnus Cup time.

League Results

So, Sicoutimont's qualifiers are:

Sicoutimont (SIC) Qualifiers:
Champion's Cup: Lac-Drouin St-Pierre, Huskies Baie-Nord
Globe Cup: Lac-Drouin City, FC Pierre Beach, Real Ile Perrot
Series B Champion's Cup: FC Pontiac, St-Simeon City, Orleans St-Jerome, FC Arbreville
Copa Rushmori de Campeones: Lac-Drouin St-Pierre

Final Site bid:

Sicoutimont (SIC) Final Site Bids:
Champion's Cup: Stade Pierre Beach, Pierre Beach, Sicoutimont -- 118,000 Seated
Stade Pierre Beach is always a beacon of excitement in Sicoutimont. It has hosted many great events, and now looks to go one step further. A recent creation, Pierre Beach was chosen by RailSicoutimont as the place to build the largest stadium in the nation. The warm climate plus the lure of the attractions the stadium would bring was thought to encourage tourism. And it does. Many come to Pierre Beach's, well, beach, before going to SportCity, the underground city, to visit a restaurant, watch a match, or gamble in the Casino Pierre Beach. So why does it deserve to host the Champion's Cup Final? Stade Pierre Beach provides an excellent location for the match. Fans coming to see there club can take a nice break on one of the most beautiful beaches in the country to calm there nerves before the big game. Any type of entertainment, you've got it in Pierre Beach. It's also one of the warmest cities in the nation, and even if is a rainy day, you've got SportCity! SportCity is a massive complex underneath the pitch, containing, well, everything in a city. A mall, a movie theatre, a gym, a train station, a bank, a casino, and even some apartments! Yes, Pierre Beach truly has it all. After being considered for the hosting job a few cycles ago, a small (2,000) seat expansion later, Stade Pierre Beach is back and looks forward to working with the UICA in the future.

Copa Rushmori de Campeones: Stade St-Pierre, Lac-Drouin, Sicoutimont -- 71,500 Seated
Stade St-Pierre is another of the main stadiums in Sicoutimont. Built in 1937, it was a major public gathering place during the Communist regime (1955-2004). At that time, amateur clubs like Red Star Lac-Drouin were formed, and toured the country. At the end of the Communist era in 2004, the de-communism of Sicoutimont's new government led to many things being changed to new names. Stade St-Pierre, called Worker's International Stadium during the Communist era, became known once again as Stade St-Pierre, and Red Star Lac-Drouin became Lac-Drouin St-Pierre. Ever since then, the stadium has continued to be a gathering place in Sicoutimont, with World Cup Qualifying matches held here along with all home games of Lac-Drouin St-Pierre. Featuring 71,500 seats, the SFA and Lac-Drouin Sports and Entertainment (LDSE), owner of Lac-Drouin St-Pierre and the stadium, partnered to bid for the final of the CRdC, hoping to bring Rushmori football fans a great experience at the final, hopefully at Stade St-Pierre.
Democratic Green Republic of Sicoutimont
Population: 110,500,000 | Capital: Lac-Drouin | Language: Sicoutian | Country Code: SIC

Under the wise leadership of Chairman Alphonse Pomeroy we will brighten our future!

Tropical Trophy

The Tropical Trophy is a seasonal competition between the Vilitan Stellar Division Champions and Vilitan Cup Champions. There has been some controversy as to whether it is a "Season Ending" event or a "Season beginning" event, though it has tended to be closer to the start of the new season, then the end of the previous one.

Image

Image Cednia Beach AFC - v. - Turoki United Image
Tivali Ring Stadium, Alikki-Corra, Vilita

For this seasons Tropical Trophy, The V-League Stellar Division Champions (Turoki United) were invited to face off against the defending Vilitan Cup Champions (Cednia Beach AFC). Cednia Beach were making their 4th ever Tropical Trophy appearance, still searching for their first victory. For Turoki United it would be their fourth appearance in the Tropical Trophy. During the previous season's event, Turoki United won their first Trophy Title with a 2-1 victory over Strike FC. Season 44's Trophy would be the first that Turoki United contested against a team other than Strike FC, and the first Tropical Trophy in 8 seasons that Strike were not a part of.

CEDNIA BEACH LOOK TO CONTINUE CUP SUCCESS

Cednia Beach AFC [5-3-2] ::
[GK] Jaqe Planst (TUR), [D] Yoains Konoaafeo (TUR), [D] Oani Moralziia (TUR), [D] Dmitri Levada (TUR), [D] Cediici Tzatzos (TUR), [D] Rach Oruma, [M] Tripate Falcon (VIL), [M] Aiden Varess (TUR), [M] Eikr Lillehammer (PIS), [F] Matlya Eelador (TUR), [F] Sirkii Moliaudo (VIL)

Turoki United [5-3-2] ::
[GK] Mumau Atla-Siioai (TUR), [D] Enri Pinero, [D] Tolo Pissas, [D] Piji Pontidas, [D] Kam Amizic, [D] Rockii Gukisi, [M] Zeki Selolwii, [M] Tarkan Dehon, [M] Nili Lucsaa, [F] Jinni Brali, [F] Andii Vlachoriia

Vilitan/Turorian Dual National referee Nuliko Meteorik officiated the Tropical Trophy for the seventh consecutive season.

:: The Kickoff

It had all changed for Cednia Beach AFC since the addition of Polar Islandstates World Cup Hero Eikr Lillehammer and, now, Vilitan World Cup champion Sirkii Moliaudo. While the 'Coconuts', as they are affectionately known by fans, were twice champions of the Vilitan Stellar Division, the only Turorian team to claim that honor, success in knockout competitions had long evaded the Cednia based club.

4 Time Vilitan Cup runners up and 3 time Tropical Trophy losers, Cednia Beach AFC appeared cursed from ever breaking through when a deciding final match was required to claim silverware. All that changed during V-League Season 43 when Lillehammer and Moliaudo led the 'Coconuts' to the Vilitan Cup title, the first in club history.

Then, to top it off, Cednia Beach would become the first Turorian side to win a top-level UICA Competition, coming home as champions of the UICA Globe Cup.

Now, having ridden that wave of success, Cednia Beach were looking to take it to the defending Tropical Trophy champions Turoki United and break yet another cup-curse while the momentum was still hot.

It was the first time since season 36 where both Tropical Trophy competitors - and all of their fans, had to travel to the Tivali-Ring Stadium in Alikki-Corra from neighboring Islands. However, when the teams came out onto the field and the lineups became apparent, perhaps many of those fans were wishing they hadn't made the trip.

In typical Turoki United fashion, the defending Stellar Division champions lined up in a defensive 5-3-2 formation, stacking the defenders in front of Turorian goalkeeper Mumau Atla-Siioai. Cednia Beach responded not with more attackers, but more defenders of their own, matching Turoki's 5-3-2 look almost guaranteeing that goals would not be the story of the day.

Throughout the first half, drab expectations were fully realized as the 45 minutes came and went without a single legitimate goal scoring opportunity generated by either side that would force the netminders into action. Tripate Falcon came closest to troubling either of the goals with his shot that went over Atla-Siioai's net 20 minutes into the match.

:: The Second Half

Turoki United got the second half started brightly with a net-missing opportunity of their own off the foot of Tolo Pissas who had started to make forward runs from the back with some frequency. There was an unfortunate moment on the hour mark when Oani Moralziia had to be replaced after a poor challenge from Kam Amizic which resulted in the Turoki United player entering the referees book.

Once the substitution was made and play resumed it did lead to an outstanding scoring chance for Cednia Beach. From the free kick, Cediici Tzatzos found the the head of Matlya Eelador who's forceful attempt was pushed aside by Atla-Siioai who could not control the rebound. Aiden Varess collected the ball and probably should have passed it back to the outside for another cross but instead tried to blast it through the Turoki United bodies to no avail, and the danger was eventually cleared.

It appeared the match was destined to coast until extra time but Cednia Beach put together a real onslaught deep into injury time. It all started with a free kick from Eikr Lillehammer that Sirkii Moliaudo flicked into the path of Tripate Falcon who forced Atla-Siioai into another save, this time the ball going out for a corner. From the resulting kick, Matlya Eelador cracked a powerful header that crashed against the crossbar and bounce back over the 18 yard back to the forward Cednia Beach defenders. There wasn't enough time for the Turorians to set up again, however, as Meteorik eventually did whistle for full time, a full 2 minutes after the advertised injury time had passed.

:: Extra-Time

The defense-minded Turoki United were still looking for their first shot on target as Extra Time began but changed their look considerably in the extra period and came out firing on all cylinders.
Image 0
Image 1

Turoki United midfielder Nili Lucsaa turned the match on its head with a moment of brilliance, beating Jaqe Planst with a 25 yard screamer, the first Turoki United shot on target of the match.

Cednia Beach quickly responded with pressure on the other end, with Moliaudo continuing to test Atla-Siioai but the Turorian goalkeeper was doing what he did best - stopping anything that was coming at him. At half-time in extra time, Turoki United appeared headed to yet another 1-0 victory.

Things got a little more interesting, however, as just minutes after the second half of extra time began, Kam Amizic was booked for a second time, forcing Turoki United to finish the match with just 10 players. The outnumbered situation forced Turoki United to sacrafice their attack and sit on their heels for the remainder of the match.

Cednia Beach continued to pressure but appeared to be overcome by frustration, while creating more chances in the final ten minutes, it was a case of Quantity overcoming Quality as the Coconuts were not being patient enough to break through with an opportunity strong enough to beat Atla-Siioai.

As the 120 minutes came and went, Meteorik signalled the end of the match and Turoki United had defended their Tropical Trophy title, quashing the momentum of Cednia Beach AFC and extending their streak of Tropical Trophy defeats.

Tivali Ring Stadium - Alikki-Corra, Vilita (87,000 Capacity)
The Football Association of Vilita is based at the Tivali-Ring Stadium in the capital city of Alikki-Corra, Vilita and many National Team training sessions take place on the grounds of the Tivali Ring. The Football Association regularly schedule matches at arenas throughout Vilita, especially bigger matches as many of the stadiums that host Stellar Division and UICA competition matches have expanded far beyond the capacity of the National Stadium at Tivali Ring, which is used only for the National Team, and, for the Vilitan Cup Final and Tropical Trophy matchup. In addition to its World Cup matches, 'The Ring' hosted the 40th UICA Series 'B' Champions Cup Final. The stadium was constructed as part of the Vilitan bid to host the World Cup 14 Cup of Harmony as a replacement to the former National Stadium in Lopinka that was destroyed during a regional conflict.

Football
Association of
Vilita

To whom it may concern:

The Football Association of Vilita would like to make a formal request to the UICA board of governors on behalf of its clubs and the clubs of the Football Association of Turori in regards to the fulfillment of its allocations for the 54th Champions Cup, 51st Globe Cup and 51st Series B Champions Cup. It has come to the realization of the Football Association of Vilita that, due to unanticipated scheduling conflicts arising from the unimaginable success of the Vilitan National Team in the recent World Cup 68 finals in Legalese, the 44th season of the Vilitan League will not conclude prior to the final deadline for entries into the 54th UICA Cycle of Competitions, and the resulting draw.

While the Vilitan League Season is comparably shorter in duration than many other contested leagues, its timing has always been such that there was a minimal duration between the crowning of a champion and the UICA draws. Normally, this ensures that the teams qualifying for UICA competition from the Vilitan League are always the most deserving and recent qualifiers.

However, in a rare feat that no living citizen in Vilita could have ever predicted, the Vilita Jungle Cats National Football Team advanced to, and won the World Cup 68 title in Legalese by a 4-2 scoreline over the Free Republics.

Simply advancing that deep into the competition had already delayed the start of the season, as, during a season that conflicts with the World Cup, the schedulers always plan to begin the opening stages to correspond with both Vilita and Turori failing to advance beyond the Quarter Final stage solely based on statistical probability and past performance, ensuring that the league can get kicked off as soon as possible. With a high percentage of Vilitan & Turorian players involved in the Vilitan League, specifically the Stellar Division itself, the schedulers always try to avoid conflicts with National Team engagements. Furthermore, due to the relatively shorter season length, upsetting the balance of a team by forcing them to play when there is a National Team conflict could have an even larger effect on the final results.

However, while simply delaying two matchdays to get started would not have yet pushed the Vilitan League schedule beyond the submission deadline for UICA entrants, it was the resulting pomp, circumstance and fan fare that resulted when the Vilita National Team returned as champions from Legalese that ultimately delayed the start of the league season too far in order to reach the full conclusion of competition prior to the initial UICA draws. Most namely, the "Tour of Vilita" that commenced shortly after the celebrations in Alikki-Corra ended, with the Vilitan National Team visiting every major city on the Main Island and Turoki Island - and even making a stop over at VOIA Island.

While due to our short season length, the Vilitan League certainly has an additional layer of flexibility in that there is significant off time to be able to move fixtures around, the timing of this particular delay will result in only approximately half of the league matches being contested prior to the UICA entrant deadline.

It is thereby requested by the Football Association of Vilita and on behalf of the Football Association of Turori that the UICA board of governors advise on the best way to proceed with filling the earned allocations to the 54th Champions Cup, 51st Globe Cup and 51st Series B Champions Cup.

Thank You,

Militar Liaozera
Official Scheduler, Vilitan League

p.s. Sorry about not using official Vilitan League letterhead. I sit in the offices of the Football Association of Vilita and this... really old 'thing' was the only official-looking letterhead I could find. Nobody is here. Everyone is out on this Tour of Vilita living it up. I came in because my job is the schedules, and I knew that they needed to be fixed. Hope to hear back soon, as I assure there is no longer a scheduling scenario I can see that gets us beyond about the half way point in the season before UICA begins. Thankfully, the tour is now at its last stop, and hopefully things will be back to normal around here shortly.

Commonwealth League: Season VII

Teams from Aissurop, Earo, Forden, Naitpyge, Tanamera and The Sportocracy, unite once again to conduct the Commonwealth League. And this season, those in charge have read the rules, no more fiascoes like last season. Frecmenta is making plans to join the league next season, but did take part in the Commonwealth League Cup. That also explains why just about every team this year experienced relegation. Gots to make rooms.

The Iturributan Premier Division: Season 661 Review

The FIFTEENTH SEASON of Iturributan football!!!

...was tragically, and permanently, cut short by the (re-)annexation of Iturributan territory to the Grand Duchy of Astograth, by command of Lord Protector Gaskon Ugarte. The Futbol Iturributako Federazioa has therefore chosen to declare the results final and assign UICA qualification accordingly.

From the following season, Iturributan clubs will (forcibly) (re-)affiliate to the Futbol Astograthiko Federazioa and compete in the Astograthian pyramid; they have only been allowed to participate of the coming UICA competitions according to these results out of fear of UICA retribution, as the FIF is still formally affiliated to the governing body and these clubs earned their spots as FIF members.

The Futbol Iturributako Federazioa, once again exiled, shall not cease operations.

Premier Division
The final season of the Iturributan Premier Division was once again decided by Sporting and United, being won by - what? What?

Hang on. Rewind a bit. Go back. Yes. What?

Are you sure? No way.

No. Way.

The Iturributan Premier Division, cut short on its fifteenth matchday, was won by Garitzeta Racing Club?

Garitzeta Racing Club, a team not even from the City proper but from the oft-mocked "provincial" town of Garitzeta? The very same? The derided knock-off splinter club of Iturributa Racing?

A club so marginal in the annals of Iturributan football its name refers to an entirely different sport?

They are the final Premier Division champions?

Yes. On the fifteenth matchday, less than halfway through the season and in the last Iturributan Derby played on sovereign soil, Sporting Iturributa and Iturributa United drew 1-1 at Old City Stadium with goals by Marcelinho Carnavalense and Torsten Wolff. The previous day, Garitzeta Racing had beaten the old enemy Iturributa Racing 1-0 away, snatching the lead from Sporting by a single point.

The Chevrons expected it to be a minor setback, but everything changed when the olive nation attacked.

It may be a tarnished win, and the town was in no celebratory mood when the Federation-in-exile formally drew the curtains on the Premier Division and declared them the final champions, but this will still go down as Garitzeta Racing Club's most important achievement to date.

After traveling the world and the seven seas, everyone in the City-State of Mastille is ready to watch the most interesting league in the world. Thanks to the amount of high-rise apartment buildings there are in Mastille, six football fields with a minimum capacity of 35,000 across more than 1,500 kilometers of land in Mastille are ready to be finally used, and they have been quickly prepared and "re-built" after the Riots of 55. Now, without further ado, here are the eight teams partaking in the league, known as Ligue Mastii.

Baguette de Honhonhon - What appears to be the result of online vote-rigging by some of the Yttribian users on various image board forums, this is not a satirical team, and they demand to be taken seriously. However, in compliance with the results of the "Name the Team" vote, Baguette de Honhonhon will remain as is for at least the first season of Mastii football. Statistically, they may or may not do well, because it's the flipping inaugural season, and they just finished their turbulent times.

CF Grancey - One of the original six charter members of the Ligue Mastii, it's highly likely that they're expected to do okay in the Ligue, thanks to the amount of star players, like goalkeeper Alban Foss. Daria Miles, forward is also a key reason for being one of the reasons for being okay, but since their motto is "The worst defense is a defense", it's expected that the goals will be high, and the goals against will be higher, with a good chance that draws may or may not be through the roof.

Castagnols HSC - Here is a team which is likely to take control of the league, and are willing to play their hearts out to become the first ever team to hold the Grail, which is the physical trophy for the winner of the Ligue. Considered the most popular team in the entire city, and with star players such as Queenie Wilbur, and Dana Seward, they are absolutely one of the most enthralling teams in the entire nation, at least from various game simulations.

Kertissiec AC - Another one of the original six teams to found the league, Kerti (an affectionate name for the club), are also one of the premier teams to be considered for the title of league champion. Their policy of defense first, led by Colin Bass, is one to surely catch the eyes of those participating in the league, and the various fans watching it as well. We here at the MastiiSport website have no idea on what the hell is going to happen with Kerti's season.

AC Abscon e Bouy - Seven teams were going to participate in the Ligue this inaugural season originally, but then, Abscon FC, and AS Bouy merged to form AC Abscon e Bouy, which was also representing the merger between the two separate parishes at the time, and once again, merged into Abscon e Bouy. Led by their midfielders in Julienne Moore, and Margery Barton, this is certainly going to be a fun team to watch throughout the season.

Dicles Club - Originally founded by monks of the Mastillean Church of Christ, they have now allowed women into their team, and after certain negotiations with the Church, the team has been separated from Church and State. Winslow Victore and Morris Berger are two of the star attackers apart of the Dicles Club, and they are expected to make a huge impact in the Ligue Mastii.

Censerey SC - Out of the six teams who were originally slated to participate in the inaugural season, back when Mastille was still located in Esportiva, they were considered the least likely to win the league. Led by center-midfielder Edgar William, they do have a bright spot in him, but it's unlikely that they are going to excel in the league. However, no one knows what the hell is going to happen this season, so don't be surprised if they come out on top of the table.

Westerhedge FC - The only team located in a predominately English-speaking parish, they're considered okay and are possibly good contenders for the Ligue title. However, as previously mentioned, this is the first season in Mastillean football, so we better keep our eyes out for whatever may happen throughout the fourteen weeks of Mastii football. As they are one of the two new clubs formed after the Grand Relocation, there are no national team players, but they do have the hearts of their fans.

LEAGUE RESULTS
Ligue Mastii Pld W D L GF GA GD Pts
1 AC Abscon e Bouy 14 9 4 1 22 14 +8 31
2 Westerhedge FC 14 7 3 4 21 17 +4 24
3 Censerey SC 14 6 3 5 25 21 +4 21
4 Castagnols HSC 14 6 3 5 23 24 −1 21
5 Kertissiec AC 14 5 4 5 23 22 +1 19
6 CF Grancey 14 5 3 6 16 18 −2 18
7 Baguette de Honhonhon 14 3 3 8 20 25 −5 12
8 Dicles Club 14 2 3 9 15 24 −9 9

In what appears to be an absolute shock, AC Abscon e Bouy win the very first ever edition of the Ligue Mastii, by a shocking margin. With only one loss in the entire season, this was certainly the team to beat, and is going to be one of the craziest teams, come UICA competition. A disappointing season for Baguette de Honhonhon, who are now expected to have a name change, but let the team with the silly name enjoy one more day or so with that. Westerhedge FC plaed second, in a league that appeared to be dominated by Abscon e Bouy, but they still have the cup to look forward to, in which the final Globe Cup spot will be decided upon.

In the inaugural season, the inaugural knock-out cup was also placed into play, and the fans were ready to see who would advance to play in the Globe Cup, here are the results of each matchup.

Quarter-Finals
Baguette de Honhonhon 0–1 Westerhedge FC
AC Abscon e Bouy 4–2 Dicles Club
Censerey SC 1–3 Kertissiec AC
CF Grancey 4–0 Castagnols HSC

Semi-Finals
Westerhedge FC 0–2 AC Abscon e Bouy
Kertissiec AC 2–0 CF Grancey

Final
AC Abscon e Bouy 2–2 Kertissiec AC (2–2 AET) (1–3 pen.)

And there you have it, Kertissiec AC stop AC Abscon e Bouy from completing the league double on a thrilling series of penalties, from the National Park. With that, Kertissiec AC qualify for the final spot in the Globe Cup, and they're ready to play their hearts out against the premier teams of around the world.

This historical site in Mastille is considered a home for the entire nation. Originally built in Esportiva, but due to the absolute destruction of the peninsula Mastille was originally located on, National Park was rebuilt, and modified to accommodate building regulations, and codes. Located in the southern part of the city, it is surrounded by various food-stands, and is served by the National Métro, on the Green Line. As cars are illegal in Mastille, cycling, walking, or public transit are highly recommended to travel around the city, and to reach this pinnacle of Mastii football.
This nation is the lone puppet of Yttribia.

Equestrian States (EQS) qualifiers
Champions’ Cup 54: Ponyville United
Globe Cup 51: Cloudsdale Flyers, Canterlot Royals, Stalliongrad HC, Trottingham Pirates

Champions’ Cup 54: Crystopolis City
Globe Cup 51: North Spire HC, Southwind HC
Series B Champions’ Cup 51: Crystal Fair HC, Royal Crystal Palace, Scoltland City
Cygnus Cup 29: Crystopolis City

Equestrian States (EQS) final site bids
Champions' Cup 54: Royal Equestria Stadium, Canterlot (capacity 98,625)
Not far from the traditional home of the Equestrian States' government, Royal Equestria Stadium is one of the newest sports venues in the nation and can seat nearly 100,000 ponies with standing room for thousands more. Built to replace the aging Equestria Dome as the official home of the national teams, Royal Equestria Stadium is a reflection of the country, truly representing its traditions, natural beauty, and modernity. With a roof of magically-sculpted crystal, the stadium is awe-inspiring in its grandeur and has allowed the Equestrian States to show its most appealing side to the rest of the world. Royal Equestria Stadium has hosted a number of major events, including the 57th Cup of Harmony final, the 67th World Cup third place match, the 29th Di Bradini Cup final, the 21st World Cup of Hockey finals, and the annual United Cup final.

Globe Cup 51: Elements Stadium, Ponyville (capacity 48,750)
Ponyville might not look like a commercial hub, but the city's traditional town-like architecture hides its true status. Pleasant is the best word to describe Ponyville and its citizens, and the seamless incorporation of modern technology and conveniences allows visitors to feel at ease when in town. Centrally-located between Canterlot, Everfree, Manehattan, and (to a degree) Cloudsdale, the city also serves as a transportation hub, thriving on the Equestrian States' booming tourism industry. Elements Stadium itself is named after the Elements of Harmony, the guiding principles of the majority faith of the nation: Harmonism. Visiting fans often enjoy the stadium's central position alongside the crystal-clear Mane River, not far from some of Ponyville's largest and nicest hotels, which have seen extensive use when Elements Stadium hosted the 43rd Globe Cup final between Liria Prizren and Raynor City United as well as numerous matches during the 67th World Cup and 57th Cup of Harmony.

Cygnus Cup 29: Wild Grounds, Everfree (capacity 56,500)
To foreign visitors Everfree might seem just like any of the world's jungle cities (albeit with a large population of non-humans), but for Equestrians it's the strangest place in the country. Surrounded by the dense Everfree Forest for which it is named, the city of Everfree boasts the largest population of non-equines of any Equestrian city, and is home to a sizable community of humans. Elsewhere in the Equestrian States, the pegasi weather ponies control the clouds and weather patterns of the nation, allowing Equestrian farmers to take advantage of optimal conditions for agriculture. But in the Everfree Forest, the weather is nigh unpredictable and difficult to predict. Added to the presence of countless predatory creatures, the Forest is a forbidding place for ponies. Humans and other non-equine sapients were less afraid of the Everfree's bizarre weather patterns (though the hydras and manticores were still a deterrent) and ventured into the Forest, eventually stumbling upon a clearing which evolved into the modern city of Everfree. Wild Grounds itself is appropriately named, being home to the ever-so-slightly crazed supporters of Everfree Forest HC and located near the very edges of the Forest itself. With a breathtaking view of the city, Wild Grounds offers one of the best atmospheres for hoofball in the country.

Crystal Empire (CRY) final site bids
Series B Champions' Cup 51 & Youth Cup 6: Imperial Arena, Crystopolis (capacity 69,740)
Located adjacent to the towering Crystal Palace, Imperial Arena was constructed shortly after the Crystal Empire reappeared to the north of Magical Equestria as a part of the nation's bid to host the Equestria Games. In the decade or so since the Games were held, many other sports competitions have taken place in the Empire's largest stadium and several prominent local hoofball clubs have also taken up residence, including Globe Cup 47 quarterfinalists Crystopolis City. A multipurpose indoor venue, Imperial Arena's main field is encircled by a track, somewhat limiting the seating of supporters, though additional accommodations will be added to reduce the distance separating the fans from the field. Additionally, it should be noted that pickaxes, hammers, chisels, and other tools brought into the Crystal Empire will be confiscated and checked upon entry to the nation as stealing chunks of the Empire's predominantly crystal architecture is generally frowned upon by the local authorities.
83rd World Cup Champions
58th & 59th AOCAF Cup Champions
5x World Cup, 2x Cup of Harmony, 1x Baptism of Fire, 2x World Cup of Hockey, 3x World Baseball Classic, 1x World Bowl, 2x International Basketball Championship Host

OPENING DAY SUMMARY:
Defending champions Turoki United got off to a slow but typical start with a goalless draw at the Iobabao Legendary Field in Mliona. It was likely the biggest blockbuster matchup on the cards for the opening day but certainly not the most exciting as Strike FC hosted an entertaining matchup with Turoki Isle at the Lonngeylin Coliseum.

Apple Cobbler opened the scoring for the Venom and Perran Adlani doubled their lead before Turoki Isle pulled a goal back on a second half penalty kick. Strike would hold on though to claim an early share of the title lead along with Colonial Sile, Jlinal cove and the Turoki Tide who all claimed 3 points on the opening day.

THROUGH MATCHDAY 6:

Turoki United v. Jungle Strike FC :: It was a rare thing that occurred at the Turoki Community Complex, with all eyes on the two giants of the Vilitan game, most expecting a close, if not boring game. What they got however was neither of either as the game was not close and more exciting than a typical Turoki United match as the home side stunned the Venom 3-0 to unseat them from the top of the table.

Milake's Woes :: Perhaps suffering a bit of a World Cup hangover, Lonngeylin Coast's Zelkki Milake had a horrible showing against Makosile United with Rainbow Blitz, Vucidini Zekani and JD Fuller all contributing to the 5-0 drubbing that left Lonngeylin Coast rooted to the bottom of the Stellar Division table without a point after 3 matches.

Jlinal Cove added further to the misery for Milake on Matchday 4 with Xavier Boyle and Liinai Zakazaka teaming up to put another 3 goals past the Vilitan World Cup hero.

Milake finally had a turn of fortune on Matchday 5 keeping a clean sheet against fellow strugglers the Yeaddin Owls but got no support from his team as the match ended in a goalless draw.

Cednia Beach AFC were able to pull away along with Strike atop the table with their 2-0 win over Turoki Isle.

Jlinal Cove v. Mliona-Lpaka Turori :: Mliona-Lpaka AFC leapfrogged Jlinal Cove into third place in the table with a 2-0 matchday 6 victory over the Cove side that had impressed in the early going. It was the third clean sheet of the season for Vanorian goalkeeper Draugwe Nororon.

Mliona-Lpaka were four points back of Strike FC who defeated Arcticala Inlet to sneak above Cednia Beach AFC who dropped to second after being held 0-0 by Turoki United.

THROUGH MATCHDAY 10:

Cednia Beach AFC v. Jungle Strike FC :: The top two squared off at the Cednia Beach Center on matchday 7 in an early title showdown. With both sides fielding experienced World Cup winning netminders - Jaqe Planst for Cednia Beach and Kajaxo Imaslavii for Strike FC, a high scoring game was unlikely and eventually Karisto Monafog's goal early in the second half for the Venom would be the decider as Strike extended their lead at the top to 4 points over the Turorian duo of Cednia Beach and Mliona-Lpaka.

Strike were held by the Turoki Tide on Matchday 8 but the rest of the field were unable to gain any ground as Mliona-Lpaka were upended by the Yeaddin Owls at the Lirai Asku Castle and Cednia Beach AFC were held by Colonial Sile after Eikr Lillehammer was sent off after receiving a second yellow card for unsportsmanlike celebration of the go-ahead goal that he had just scored.

Zelkki Milake's roller-coaster season in Lonngeylin finally produced its first victory on Matchday 10 as his side put a pair of goals past Erfaon Lisdiren and Milake kept a clean sheet to claw Lonngeylin Coast back within range of safety with the seasons mid-way point approaching. Strike defeated Makosile 1-0 to get three points but this time the other contenders kept pace with Cednia Beach and Mliona-Lpaka both getting victories over relegation threatened sides while 4th and 5th place Turoki United and Jlinal Cove played out a 1-1 draw at the Turoki Community Complex.

THROUGH MID-SEASON:

Jlinal Cove FC continued to impress as they hosted leaders Strike on Matchday 11 and refused to give in, holding off the Stellar Division's all time winningest side in a goalless draw led by Turorian goalkeeper Ronji Miiastara and Audioslavian defender Arne Polsson.

Mliona-Lpaka AFC v. Cednia Beach AFC :: The giants of Turori clashed for the first time during the V-League's 44th season at the Iobabao Legendary Field in Mliona with Vilitan World Cup Hero's Jomur Hulyer (Mliona-Lpaka) and Sirkii Moliaudo (Cednia Beach) leading their teams out of the tunnel along with the goalkeepers, Draugwe Nororon of Mliona-Lpaka and Jaqe Planst of Cednia Beach.

Just one point had separated the sides at the start of the match as the Turorian derby continued moving further up the Stellar Division table, with the two sides entering the day placed 2nd and 3rd. Belltherdon Cularin got Mliona-Lpaka on the board early, scoring in the 18th minute much to the delight of the home fans. Mliona-Lpaka surprisingly dominated long spells of the match and after Sirkii Moliaudo left the match on the hour mark, Cednia Beach never looked like threatening Nororon's goal as Mliona-Lpaka secured the 1-0 win to close within 3 points of Strike FC.

Just as Strike looked as if they were going to waltz into the midway point with a comfortable lead atop the table, they slipped up against a Yeaddin Owls team that seemed determined to avoid another season battling the relegation bug. An early uncharacteristic red card to the inexperienced Apple Cobbler set the Venom back early in the match and eventually the Owls broke through for the surprise win at the Lonngeylin Coliseum. Mliona-Lpaka and Turoki United both won closing the gap with the Turorian's now level on points at the top going into the final matchday of the first half of the season.

There were some cheers on the other side of town, however, as fans of Lonngeylin Coast were treated to a turn around of sorts as their side recorded their first away win of the season in Arcticala, burying the Electricians further into the relegation zone and inching closer themselves to the rest of the pack with a 2-1 result.

Lonngeylin Coast got another win on Matchday 13, overcoming Cednia Beach 2-1 to knock the Turorian's critically down into the 5th spot in the standings behind Jlinal Cove and pulling themselves to just 3 points from the top half of the table, despite still being mired in the relegation zone due to their poor goals differential tally.

The real shock on Matchday 13, however, came at Lunar Park in Seraai where Strike FC prospect Viliaka O' Connor earned no friends back in Lonngeylin by shutting out his parent club who likely regretted quickly their decision not to include a 'do not play' clause in the loan agreement with the defending Declasse Champions. Eastal Lunar recorded a landmark 1-0 victory that allowed Mliona-Lpaka, 2-1 winners over the Turoki Tide, to slide clear atop the table at the seasons midway point.

At the bottom of the table, Arcticala Inlet's misery continued as goals from Thunderlane and Vucidini Zekani propelled Makosile back into the top 6 going into the break.

Mliona-Lpaka's young Vilitan starlet Viela Lianksa stole the show early in the season as a key factor in the Turorian sides early form. However, it was Makosiles Vucidini Zekani atop the goalscoring charts ahead of Cednia Beach's Eikr Lillehammer.

OPENING DAY SUMMARY:
Marine Coast United travelled to the capital to open up the Declasse Season in what many expect could be a preview of the chase for the title, taking home a 1-0 victory to get an early jump on their old rivals. Turori's Kionao Locals topped the charts with their 2-0 win over the Corra Rovers while Morata Valley got their revenge on Jaguar Moreda, winning the first of two Tropicorp Cup rematches by a 1-0 scoreline.

THROUGH MATCHDAY 8:

Morata Valley proved on matchday 2 that they weren't just going to be content being back in the Vilitan League, they wanted to promote as well, handing Marine Coast United their first loss of the season at Marine World Park.

However, Marine Coast made up for it on Matchday 3 with a 1-0 victory over Nycflala Kater's high-flying Kiiara-Torra. Elsewhere, Jay-jay Jabez put Inland Peaks back in the early hunt with his contributions to the 2-0 victory over Corra Rovers lifting his side up to 3th in the table.

Crosaibi Locals v. Marine Coast United :: Relegation threatened Crosaibi Locals hosted cross-town rivals Marine Coast United in a tone setting match that reminded fans of the Locals that even though they were now playing at the same level of competition as their rivals, Marine Coast United were still the better side. Further still, if results continue as they had started over the first third of the Declasse Season, there would be a 2-level buffer between the sides at seasons end with Marine Coast United moving up to second place inside the promotion places and Crosaibi Locals rooted at the bottom of the table in the relegation zone.

THROUGH MID-SEASON:

Morata Valley got an important victory over Inland Peaks on Matchday 9 to jump back ahead of Marine Coast United who were held by Kiiarana City. Their rise up the table continued through Matchday 11 with their 3-0 thrashing of the Corra Rovers but Alikki-Corra remained 3 points ahead atop the table after their 1-0 victory over a struggling Lonngeylin City side that was making an early run at a second successive relegation with just one win from 11 matches.

Morata Valley would leapfrog to the top of the table after a 2-1 win over FC Almintora on Matchday 12, capitalizing on the good fortune of their Season 43 Tropicorp Cup rivals Jaguar Moreda who stunned the academy with a 1-0 win at Canopy Gate.

Lonngeylin City clawed closer to the top 12 with a crucial relegation-zone victory over bottom side Crosaibi Locals who were still yet to score a goal in 12 matches.

Tivali City v. Morata Valley :: Going into the day two points out of the top spot, Tivali City had a chance to move into the promotion places if they could get a win over leaders Morata Valley at home in the Council Stadium. Instead, however, Morata Valley padded their advantage with a 1-0 victory on the strength of an early goal from their Captain Dronik Ratuva. Alikki-Corra had kept pace though, staying level on points with the Valley side with a 2-0 victory over the Crosaibi Locals who had succefully completed the first half of the Declasse Season without scoring a single goal - deservingly propping up the table.

Marine Coast United put a pair of goals past Jaguar Moreda to drop the inaugural Tropicop Cup champions back into the relegation zone and move themselves up into the third position, 5 points behind the top 2 at the seasons midway mark.

Vilita (VIL) final site bids

Champions Cup: Tivali Ring Stadium, Alikki-Corra (87,000 Seated)

Series 'B' Champions Cup: Marine World Park, Crosaibi (capacity 57,500)
Marine World Park is the oldest stadium in Vilita, home of the historic club Marine Coast United. The stadium was at one time the largest stadium in Vilita by seating capacity before the construction of the Tivali Ring Stadium in Alikki-Corra prior to World Cup 13. Marine World Park is one of the few stadiums of the Vilitan league that was never hit by the expansion bug in the golden era of the Vilitan League. While many stadiums expanded to over 100,000 capacity, Marine World Park's coastal location made any expansion plans tricky, and some have blamed the lack of expansion for some of the troubles of Marine Coast United in attracting the talent they need to keep up with any of the Stellar Division teams. Marine World Park also hosted parts of the World Cup 17 Finals in addition to the 34th and 47th Series 'B' Champions Cup Final and Second Youth Cup Semi-Final and Final rounds.

Turori (TUR) final site bids

Globe Cup: Cednia Beach Center, Cednia, Turori (103,000 Capacity)
The Cednia Beach Center is one of the purest examples of capitalism and expansion in the Vilitan Leagues. Originally a modest plot for a modest team, the stadium has risen along with the rise of the club. Now, a world class stadium capacity wise, there are concessions that were made. The training grounds outside the center are second rate, and parking is virtually non-existent at the complex. Public transportation - including your own two feet, would be required for fans to access the stadium. Thats alright though, plenty of lodging surrounds the local area within walking distance.

Series B Champions Cup: Kionao Minor Field, Kionao (capacity 88,000)
Kionao Locals would make 88,000 tickets available for the event, per their proposal, which includes the installation of a large video board for the match in the location where over 20,000 standing room only tickets are currently sold on matchdays. Other stadium improvements include a large pen where some Cocoabos will be on display to help raise awareness for the plight of the Cocoabo.

Words like snow. Falling onto fire. Arriving as one, departing as three. The eyes of a snake. Yellow. Black. Red. The silence of a tomb. Dusty. Solemn.

"Thoogoodoy stvideidi ho treisoymomumo."

"Victorious warriors bringing incomparable wealth."

"Sizhabowshei'shu gu thowzhowlisolo gu huloo'shu erzomiluthow."

"Masters of the sword drinking the blood of vermin."

"Hu'shu gyushergeishoy muzumootheh tobutroomow shyumuthyu."

"Spreaders of the good seed reaching across the ocean."

"Stvugistvootowlo < Eboyteh'shu zhei < Dowzushowtheizyu'shu sashestverlotoo < Gozei'shu zherzhoostvoybeda < Zhiga eizowshotrowmoy gu buzolow'shu zeihow trisoomowtoymi lerzowmotow < Show zhamuberzho Gu Gyu Zhyu."

"Oh you, tenacious of spirit, merciless of heart, cunning of mind, deliver us to our homeland of crystal water, for you are The Mighty Faction."

Words like snow. Falling onto fire. Without knowing the sounds. I understand and do not understand, as if I were creating a language in my own head. I stare into the flickering orange cauldron, the blackness around the edges barely visible through the clouds of red smoke above the hissing coals. And the snow falls. And I understand and do not understand.

The silence is not broken. And then it is.

"Hello and thank you for listening to Radio Stvoto Latoli Channel 14, your home for sport! My name is Hihowsyisu Zi and I am your host for this hour. Now that we've finished prayers, let's take a quick break from our regular rowing coverage to take a glance at something new. I've got a report here that says our indestructible empire is about to be graced with a brand new sport! Abroad, among the throngs of the weak, they call it 'football.' Surely we mighty Stvoto Latolisi can come up with a better term, no! Football?! HA! Those useless fucking MAGGOTS!!

"Well, whatever. What does it matter, as regardless of what the maggots call it, we the conquering horde of Stvoto Latoli will surely be world champions someday soon. Once we master the game, I suppose. And the first step to doing that is having our very own league. That's right, folks, we are about to bear witness to the inaugural, Year 4006 Season of what they are calling Gu Zhahogowdoo."

I understand and do not understand. I move my lips to answer his voice, casting spells back across the fire. But snow won't fall up. I am literally paralyzed. There is nothing but stillness. In slow motion.

"Here's how it'll work. We've got three divisions of four. Every team plays each of the teams in its division four times, twice home and twice away. Every team plays each of the teams outside of its division twice, once home and once away. You get twenty-eight games for each team there. Then, 8 teams go to the playoffs - the three division winners and five wild cards. From there it's a straight knockout. Winner is the champion. And, uh... what the hell is this... so I guess there's this idiotic tournament the maggots abroad run called the UICA Champions' Cup... and apparently we are sending our champion to that piece of shit. And the other three semifinalists? We send them where? To the Globe Cup? Well, whatever. Sounds the kind of thing those pathetic vermin would invent.

"So, obviously, because we don't want confusion, the divisions of Gu Zhahogowdoo are broken up by geography. We've got Division One, obviously the best division, since it's number one and it contains the four Stvoto Latolisi teams. Our proud teams will undoubtedly slay the eight teams from the Possessions without too much trouble. First up: Lobyuseistvooshu. You know the neighborhood! It's where you go when you want the freshest fruits from the finest Muzira'a Ba'aydi orchards and the tastiest swordfish and eel fillets brought back by gu thoostvyuhidoythu. Well, they've got a team that will be wearing red, gray, and good old patriotic gow."

It arrives, gow, in one state, and departs, chartreuse, in another.

"Then we've got Troystverdyu’thatho, who'll be butting heads on behalf of Gu Zeisyutherstveh. The colors for that side are orange, gray, and blue, and rumor has it that they're property of Hohuguzherzow Oystvameimitei. Everybody's got a few ihosos in her bank over there, don't they? Okay, who else? Oh, the two outfits from Gu Zheihersei! Well, they'll surely be everybody's favorites, won't they? Who out there isn't willing to raise their arms in salute to our men and women in uniform? Representing the Air Force and of course wearing black, brown, and gold, we have Stvozhaboythumow! Do you like their chances of winning the league? And even if you do, will the fans warm to having a female manager? Or maybe you're a Navy type of person? Well you'll surely enjoy watching the matches of Hozastvu! They're going to be clad in maroon and red. As you might guess."

The eyes of the snake watch me still. Or am I watching them? Does it matter which way I look at it? Upside down? On the side? I can't tell, I'm still still as a stone. Snow landing now in drifts, vanishing as it approaches the singularity of flame.

"Next up, to nobody's surprise, provided they have reaped the benefits of our fantastic Stvoto Latolisi educational system, I should say, is Division Two! This division contains the four Muzira'a Ba'aydi clubs. Now, obviously they won't be as spectacularly competitive as our home-grown outfits from our beloved raft city, but since they are from our most economically productive and cooperative vassal state, they might fare somewhat well. Leading the pack for the Arabs and the Irish is the team known as Cinder Castle Brewers, or simply Brewers. They'll play in Caisleán Luaith and their strip will be orange and gow. Just like those Irish ne'er-do-wells to name a sports team after their favorite drink, eh? Nah, I kid, Brewers might be quite a good team. Then of course we have Cóiméid, which is the Irish word for Comets. We expect that team to be clad in red, black, and blue and play in Teach Iarann. Aside from the fact that their stellar name will likely not translate to any victories against the Stvoto Latolisi sides, they might be strong as well. The owner of that team, Hohuguzherzow Gugertryudu, has made it clear that she will spare no expense in trying to pick up the absolute best our great nation has to offer.

"But that's not all! While Brewers and Cóiméid will likely be the favorites in Division Two, they'll be joined by two more teams. Al Ziya, an Arab team based out of the port city of Báisteach Foréigneacha, will adorn themselves in navy and purple, and Fahan, that rapidly growing, high-altitude, coffee-growing, paradisal vacation destination in the north of the state, will be sending their modest outfit, Sunbirds, to Gu Zhahogowdoo. They'll wear the colors of red and gow. Our ever loyal and most humble servants in the land of Muzira'a Ba'aydah can be proud of themselves for tossing together such a strong batch of clubs, given the meager status of their pathetic country."

I hear his voice rising and falling like the legend of Hridayaja the Noble's ghost xebec in the fog of Rahish Bay. His language remains coded, a mystery turned inside out; I understand the answer to the riddle before I have heard the riddle itself.

"Finally, there is one last division, although I must say, we'd all be better off without it. Despite the fact that these cockroaches have been rebellious from the start and couldn't be less obliging if they were spitting in our smiling faces, there will be four teams from the Colony That Shall Not Be Named occupying Division Three. Needless to say, they'll surely all be terrible, and were it not for the fact that they all get to play each other a bunch of times, I'd half expect them to all go winless. They're that rotten. No team from such a contemptible and disease-ridden vassal state deserves to have any success whatsoever. But, I digress. The four teams in Division Three are thus: Kuratmad Angels, wearing red and pale blue, and Vezhidrupa Zafaryab Ludujat, wearing white with orange, red, and green trim, both from Mahathu, followed by Pkethat Hevnaje Zafaryab Ludujat, from Pkethat Hevnaje, wearing white, red, and black, and lastly Šede Island Shadows, from Pkethat Šede, wearing silver and black. Here's to hoping that those worthless, hateful, repulsive slaves from those awful Pazhujeb Islands all rot in hell."

What? The snow turns cruel! Vassal state? Enslaved? It can't be, it's not true, he's got it wrong, he'll take it back soon, it's a mistake, wrong country, wrong people, wrong place, wrong time, wrong life. We are not there. We are here. The eyes of the snake are watching me.

Or am I watching them?

"Stvishyuzastvuba!"

"Ragheads!" he hisses.

I awake in a panic. Righuvaha is gone.

But he was wrong. It was he who was the traitor, he the dictator, he the true tyrant. I returned to above the waves and presented the location of the merpeople's treasure to the dictator of Stvoto Latoli, who greedily took the coordinates without thanking me. As I leapt atop my broom, I could already hear the wailing of the merpeople from the depths; their last shred of dignity, the last remnant of their kingdom, their last symbol of hope; raped by the tyrannical humans.

The other Victoria team filled the up the top 3 narrowly losing out to their neighbours on goal difference. Haplon United where the most significant under achiever dropping from 2nd to 8th after selling their 2 best players. Hantown Gladiators (9th) and Pappi Vikings (13th) both took part in their first seasons which was great to see. Wendeacon Wanderers had a poor year and didn't recover from the retirement from club legend Oliver Robertson who had carried on playing just to take part in the first professional season last year after a 21 year long career in the amateur leagues which where in place previously. In the Armakistan ProFootball Cup the semi final and finals were as follows.

The Euran Football Association’s Euraleague
Recap on Season 18 (And a brief look ahead to Season 19)

Last season provided us with a less exciting finish than the occasion before. Ulsa strolled home to the title with a game to spare with Revolutionaries and Directus falling behind by five points, Revolutionaries just about squeezing into the Champions Cup spot. Lajuno were the shock success of the season; powered by Joe Robel and Jordan Jarvis, they stormed to 4th. Spartangrad nicked the last Globe Cup spot while Holdenberg had to settle for 6th, despite the engine of their team being the incredible Sameban Pablo Dohi who won Player of the Year. Bastion continued their mediocrity with a 7th placed finish despite the efforts of publicity signing Felix Saarinen, the Polarian bagging an impressive 19 goals. Honeybadgers, Brigham, AFC Mayville and Oakstone were the high achieving middle order. At the bottom, Mayville and the Lions unsurprisingly returned to the Silver League, but even more surprisingly Holdenberg City's star studded but dysfunctional team collapsed and were relegated comfortably, with Whitepill the surprise survivors.

Meanwhile, in the cup, Honeybadgers enjoyed a commendable success in a clash of the midtable teams for the National Cup title, beating AFC Mayville 2-1 despite going behind to a Charlie Brady strike. Veteran midfielder Steve Marshall, playing the last game of his long club career, got the winning goal near the end. There were indeed a few retirements this summer; Bryn Thomas, Kimi Houberg, Ross Ramsden and of course Mikhael Johannes all finally called it a day - an illustrious class of foreign journeymen, all retiring at once. Some Euran stalwarts of the league retired too. Craig Harper was one of them, hanging up his boots on a high after Lajuno's incredible season. He was followed into retirement by Revy Collison and Simon Neeson. Yet it would be in the transfer market where we would be seeing the real activity this summer, with major signings accounting for just over £200 million worth of transfer spending.

The biggest of these signings was of Craig Sinclair, the Euran star returning to Ulsa for £25m after a few frustrating years at Dinamo Esca. Ulsa were not messing about this summer, spending big on the two biggest signings; they spent £18m on Rob Bell, the heart of the Oakstone team who finally gave way to the temptation to move to a bigger club. He will be a long term replacement for Steve Thompson's replacement, Iuliu Zapatic. Simultaneously Ulsa wisely sold off the scrap of their team to smaller clubs; Sangti's Christian Sanchez went to Lajuno, Syndicatian Phil Gulliver to Farrenton, and Colin Nelson to WU. Revolutionaries were the other big changers, literally revolutionising their team. They offloaded the versatile Sunrisian Duda, and controversially James Brecon, the man who was supposed to be the next big thing, who will now try to revive his career at Brigham. He is replaced by a player coming the other way from Brigham in a £15m and swap deal. That player is Liam Allen, one of Eura's best strikers. He's been joined by three other talented Euran's, right back Joe Caffin (a long term replacement for Nick Feeney, a big ask), defensive midfielder Kevin Colbert and a new goalkeeper, Ben Prince.

Spartangrad also spent a bit of money, splashing the cash to bring in two talented and young foreign midfielders; Farf defensive midfielder Armando Elevado, and Császár Mór of Pasarga. Directus put £16m worth of faith into the future of Eura's left back position, Andrew Watson, who almost won Defender of the Season last year, and they spent nearly half as much money on the future of Sameba's right back position, Fabio Quella, solving the fullback issues they've been having for several years. Bastion made yet another big money signing to try and move their rebuilding project towards completion, and this is an interesting one. Holdenberg City's star man Alan Dabix has come in, the Sameban central midfielder is likely to have the team built around him. It was a tough summer for relegated City who offloaded all of their good players including Keith Rowland. The Sideburnese striker infuriated the fanbase by moving to arch rivals Holdenberg. The biggest transfer outside of the "big clubs" was that of Rudy Valencia, who was purchased by Oakstone to try and fulfill the gap left by Rob Bell.
