OOC Note: I apologize for any fans I may have of my league (no clue how many people actually take the time to follow it :p ) for the comparative brevity of this season, which basically consists of only the records post from earlier and this post. Basically my drive, which had all of my league information on it including rosters and player database, is gone, and I've been unable to find the backups. Thankfully some of the stuff was stored in the cloud, so I've been able to piece a lot back together but doing so set me behind a lot, and so that combined with exams in real life have basically prevented me from putting the effort I've come to expect from myself into this cycle. I'll make it up to myself and everyone in the next one as I finally get around to introducing a full second level of the pyramid.

**First Season in Stellar Division

The 38th Vilitan Stellar Division Season started like no previous editions of the Stellar Division had. That is, it started with a team other than the Yeaddin Owls as the winningest team in the history of the league. With their 13th title in Season 37, Jungle Strike FC overtook the 12 titles that the Yeaddin Owls won between Season 1 and 17 to become the leagues most crowned champion. Of course, the seven consecutive titles the Owls achieved between Season 5 and Season 11 is a record that is still quite safe, the times have officially changed and the mid-table languishing Owls no longer had the claim of being the best team in the history of the Stellar Division to overshadow their poor league performances of late.

During Season 36, Arcticala Inlet became the second former Stellar Division Champion to be relegated from the top flight (Marine Coast United). After a season in the Declasse, they return to the top flight for Season 38 and look to make an immediate challenge at the top of the table having dived into the transfer market head first to re-stock after many players abandoned the team when they took the drop. The Electricians added five new internationally recognized players to their Season 38 lineup including Vilitan players Kiroki Mitaroka (Yeaddin Owls), Sirkii Moliaudo (Kiiarana) and Astara Daiili (Kiiarana); Turorian utility player Klaillal Tuirma and young Audioslavian prospect Vucidini Zekani.

The Electricians are not returning as champions, however, as they were beaten to the punch by a Kiiara-Torra side led by former Vilitan National Team starting Goalkeeper Nycflala Kater who was looking for a new challenge after yielding the starting job at Strike FC to the prodigious Kajaxo Imaslavii of Audioslavia.

OPENING DAY SUMMARY:
A burst of optimism surged across Vilita & Turori as two-time defending Stellar Division champions Strike FC suffered their first opening matchday defeat in over 12 seasons as they fell in a 2-1 result to Mliona-Lpaka at the Iobabao Stadium. Farfadillis' Ichi Tuzzio opened the scoring after just 5 minutes and the Turorian's never looked back as they began the hunt for their first Stellar Division title.

A weak-looking Kionao Locals side with only Acquan Captain Lorenzo Borromeo holding down the fort could not withstand the pressure from Colonial Sile who had goals from Merlin Salomon and Lucas Andrada to slide atop the Stellar Division table after the opening matchday.

THROUGH MATCHDAY 6:
Mliona-Lpaka's opening day high was knocked back down a peg on Matchday 2 as Makosile came away with a 2-1 victory to remain the only team with two wins in the first two matchdays. Wins over Turoki United and Kiiarana City allowed Makosile to put distance on the field.

Also happening on Matchday 4, Arcticala Inlet signalled their return to the Stellar Division with a 1-0 victory over Strike FC. The win may not have been as impressive, however, as it took the Electricians 83 minutes to get on the scoresheet through Astara Daiili. At that time, both Lita Adjei and Viliaka Morasita had been sent off for the Venom who played the remainder of the match with just 9 players on the pitch.

Makosile were finally held when they visited Strike at the Lonngeylin Coliseum - a goalkeepers duel saw both Imaslavii and Atacir Tivalan of Makosile posting the shutout.

Arcticala Inlet were trying to pry their way into the UICA Champions Cup qualifying zone on Matchday 6 when they travelled to Track Venture Field in Sile, but the Stellar Division leaders Makosile held strong and outlasted the Electricians in a 3-2 result to maintain a 4 point lead over Colonial Sile and Morata Valley.

Strike FC, off to a slow start, were sitting in 4th but showing their strength with a 4-0 thrashing of the Kionao Locals with Relmar Winauat, Coll Brodie, Yvs Gadois and Friekder Dandalleion sharing the goals.

THROUGH MATCHDAY 10:
The first Turoki derby of the season took place on Matchday 7 and it was the defending Cup Champions Turoki United who came out victorious in a result that would see the 'Tide slide into the relegation zone having failed to win any of their opening 7 matches. The 'Tide would finally break the snide and pull out of the bottom 2 after their Matchday 8 victory over Kiiarana City.

The Makosile train continued rolling as the Makos clocked off key victories over the Kionao Locals and Morata Valley to maintain their 6 point advantage over Strike FC who were matching the Makos form.

Strike closed the gap slightly on Matchday 9 after Friekder Dandalleion and Relmar Winauat scored in a 2-0 win over the Turoki Tide while Makosile were held 1-1 at home by the Yeaddin Owls.

The Venom missed an opportunity to close the gap further on Matchday 10 as both Strike and Makosile drew their opponents, Allowing 3rd placed Arcticala Inlet to close to within 6 points of the lead. The Electricians outlasted Morata Valley 3-1 to claim sole joint possession of third with Kiiara-Torra AFC.

THROUGH MID-SEASON:
Strike came out Victorious in the first Lonngeylin derby of the season, responding to an early red card to Azestella Ajhabekk with goals from Dandalleion and Lawaai to take the 2-1 result. Makosile maintained the gap however with an impressive 3-0 win over Kiiara-Torra as the top 2 stretched their gap over a 4-way tie for the third position to 5 points.

Makosile completed their unbeaten start to the season with victories over Lonngeylin Coast and Colonial Sile to slide into mid-season with a 6 point advantage over Strike FC.

It was a further 5 points back to 3rd placed Arcticala Inlet and a further point to Kiiara-Torra - the duo each showing a very impressive rebound after spending a season in the Declasse and now occupying a place in the UICA Champions Cup qualifying places midway through the season.

The Turorian sides were struggling with all three sitting in the bottom half of the table, although both Mliona-Lpaka and Cednia Beach AFC, level for 8th place, were just 3 points behind the 5th position and genuine Champions Cup qualification. At the bottom of the table, both Lonngeylin Coast and Kiiarana City were sitting on just one victory in thirteen matches while the Yeaddin Owls, continuing to struggle, were just one point clear from the danger zone.

MID-SEASON TRANSFERS:

Morata Valley AFC and Cednia Beach AFC participated in a rare player swap at mid season with Svengardan forward Truls Waaserson headed to Morata Valley while Vilitan defender Ricata Amakra went the other way to Cednia Beach AFC.

Elswhere in Turori, the Kionao Locals were looking to avoid the drop by adding Kiiarana's Danie Izmao to the lineup while Vrotaoa Lorasoiba left Mliona-Lpaka FC to return to Vilita to help Lonngeylin Coast's relegation fight.

Arcticala Inlet's Kiroki Mitaroka was an early favorite for Vilitan player of the season while Colonial Sile's Pedro Uguccione had competition for the foreign award from Makosile's Equestrian competitor Rainbow Blitz.

OPENING DAY SUMMARY:
There were only two Turorian sides in the Declasse for Season 38 but they both found themselves victorious on the opening matchday and, for the first time ever, a pair of Turorian sides occupied the two Stellar Division promotion places - albeit after just one matchday. It was FC Almintora topping the charts after their victory over Eastal Lunar while Declasse newcomers Inura Forests earned a victory over Lonngeylin City to get a head-start on the promotion battle.

THROUGH MATCHDAY 8:
While the two Turorian sides could not maintain their places in the top 2 after 8 matches, they were still in the thick of the mix with FC Almintora in 3rd two points behind the runner-up spot and Inura Forests in 5th place just one point beyond that.

After 8 matches it was the Declasse's winningest side of all time - perhaps an ominous moniker of the trials and tribulations of the club - Jlinal Cove, who topped the table. The 'Cove, led by Turori's Jukkia Diijelhma, had suffered just one defeat in 7 matches and held a 4 point lead over Eastal Lunar.

Vilitan Cup Group Stage:
Pod 1: Newly returning league side Irottea FC clearly prioritized league play after a poor performance in Pod 1 saw them eliminated by non-league side Corra Rovers 2-0 on a dissapointing day at the Irottea Unity Field. Mliona-Lpaka FC would join the Rovers while the Lopinka Locals were also eliminated.
Pod 2: The struggles continued for Jimmy Jaded's Eastal Lunar side who were elimated by non-league Crosaibi Rovers in a 1-0 result. Defending Cup Champions Turoki United scraped through to the next round after a goalless 90 minutes at the Turoki Community Complex with Cedniavella.
Pod 3: Strike FC's un-matchable feat of consecutive Pod-Stage victories in the Vilitan Cup continued as the Venom put up a perfect 3-victory performance for the 6th straight season - A total of 18 matches. It was also the second straight season where the Venom conceded zero goals in the Pod, led by the expert goalkeeping of Audioslavia's Kajaxo Imaslavii. Non-League side Crosaibi Locals would join the Venom afer a 1-0 victory over Akisa Surta.
Pod 4: Former League side Yutzie Sorma outlasted FC Almintora 1-0 at the Malaveisa Stadium to book their ticket to the knockout rounds along with Stellar Division side Lonngeylin Coast who ousted Kirota United who were making a rare appearance in the Pod phase of the Cup.
Pod 5: Still reeling from the loss of Hilary Vander Rox and Maria Carrizales, the Kionao Locals were absolutely upended at the Open Fields by Kikanla Toau who eliminated the Stellar Division side by a 3-0 scoreline. Declasse side Lopinka Rovers took advantage to advance to the knockout rounds as well.
Pod 6: Nycflala Kater returned to Lonngeylin and took care of one of his former cross-town rivals, ousting Lonngeylin City from the cup with a shutout in Kiiara-Torra's 3-0 win at Lonngeylin Park. Inura Forests return to the League was coupled with a return to the Cup's knockout rounds as they were able to get past Non-League side Marta Seraai.
Pod 7: Colonial Sile ripped apart Declasse Side Rammsissil at the Colonial Field in a 5-0 result to clinch their place in the knockout rounds. 2 goals from captain Merlin Salomon and a further 2 from Lucas Andrada set Colonial well on their way before Rammsissil were reduced to ten men and Colonial added a 5th. Non-League side Cittea United, Cup Semi-Finalists during Season 30, outside Jlinal Cove 2-0 at the Jlinal Cove Complex.
Pod 8: Non-League side Spear Cape propelled themselves to the knockout rounds for the 5th time in club history after a 2-0 victory over Inland Peaks at Tivali Park while Cednia Beach AFC were given an early exit after a 1-0 defeat by Turoki Isle.
Pod 9: Perhaps the most prolific lineup in Morata Valley History with 9 different internationally recognized players was not enough to see them through to the knockout rounds as Makosile United and Tivali City took advantage of a tight pod to advance.
Pod 10: Arcticala Inlet fell 2-1 to the Turoki Tide and in turn, fell out of the Vilitan Cup behind the Tide and Marine Coast United who defeated Non-League Kirota City 1-0.
Pod 11: Another season in Pod 11 saw the Yeaddin Owls escape with a 3-1 victory over Nusira Lionta after a Kuzman Ruslan hattrick to join Kiiarana City in the knockout rounds.

Vilitan Cup Round 2:
Two-Time Cup Semi-Finalist Non-League side Crosaibi Locals advanced to the round of 16 by defeating Declasse side Inura Forests 2-0. The real upset, however, came at the Lirai Asku Castle where the Yeaddin Owls were dumped out by Yutzie Sorma.

Non-League sides Cittea, Corra Rovers and Kikanla Toau all saw their Cup-Runs come to an end with the Turoki Tide, Tivali City and defending champions Turoki United advancing.

Vilitan Cup Round of 16:

Defending cup champions Turoki United and Perennial favorites Jungle Strike FC both needed penalty kicks to propel them through to the quarter finals. Turoki United hosted Makosile at the Turoki Community Complex and it was Rocki Gukisi the star of regular time leading the lines in front of Mumau Atla-Siioai. But Atla-Siioai stole the show in the shootout blocking Baiiub Jual-Knakok's spot kick, proving to be the difference.

In Lopinka, Strike FC left it late with a 70th minute penalty kick converted by Friekder Dandalleion and a 90th minute equalizer off the head of captain Miiara Makose sending the match into extra time. After moving on to penalty kicks, Imaslavii stepped up and blocked a pair of Lopinka spot kicks while Gadois, Valjariia, Dandalleion and Brodie all converted to avoid the upset for Strike.

One other match went to penalty kicks as the non-league clash between Crosaibi Locals and Yutzie Sorma was knotted at 1-1 after 120 minutes - Crosaibi prevailing in the shootout. On the other side of town, the pride of Crosaibi - Marine Coast United, fell 3-1 to Colonial Sile ending their cup dreams.

The most lopsided result came at the Council Stadium in Tivali where Mliona-Lpaka came in and took care of business, led by a Liinai Zakazaka hattrick in a 4-0 victory over Tivali City.

Lonngeylin Coast, Kiiara-Torra and the Turoki Tide also advanced over Kiiarana City, Spear Cape and the Crosaibi Rovers.

Vilitan Cup Quarter-Finals: (Two Legs)

The Quarter-Finals were devoid of Declasse sides as 7 Stellar Division clubs and 1 Non-League side would square off over two-legs for a place in the semi-finals.

Mliona-Lpaka Turori v. Turoki United
Lonngeylin Coast v. Colonial Sile
Turoki Tide v. Jungle Strike FC
Crosaibi Locals v. Kiiara-Torra

Analyzing the Best Teams

Juvapanam Nabs Title At Home Against Urajbina On Matchday 29, Sparking Traditional Riot. Was it as dramatic as some of the showdowns the two sides had back in the mid 5240s? No. Everybody knows that the quality of the league has dropped since then. But the atmosphere at the Sampa Gumbada was still electric as Invincibles supporters saw their team clinch their first championship since now-manager Šušan'ikara Ghur was a player. And though the Sky and Silver were known for their sparkling and aggressive style throughout the year, it was Juvapanam's center back and current captain Kaesam Zhari who was the star in that decisive match, marshaling the back line with the charismatic energy that fans of the Invincibles expect of their on-field leaders. Players of Mr. Zhari's pedigree will always attract attention nationally, but he has the added boon of being a short and mobile defender, exactly the type of player that Urchins boss Maksim Astafyev famously looks for.

High Octane Zhevassi Roars To Second Place, But Fans Will Expect Improved Defense Next Year. It was an exciting year for fans of the Zahuj Peninsula's superclub, but in the end, Juvapanam had the mental fortitude that the Galacticos didn't, as the Blue and Orange went and dropped 13 points in their final seven matches. Though this bitter pill is a difficult one for Zhevassi, a club that sets extravagantly high expectations for itself on an annual basis, the side was a remarkable one, as their goals for tally dwarfed that of every other club, including the champions' total. Behind this lethal attack was constant orchestrator Vladimir Zhuvov, who led the side in assists from his perch on the left wing. The aging Mr. Zhuvov, who will turn 33 shortly, makes up for his lack of pace with his impeccable counter-attacking instincts and accurate crossing, as frequent beneficiaries Deškeh Washikala, Gregari Stanislav, and Anya Uritskaya will tell you, and he may see an Urchins cap soon.

Terrors of Therakham Outshine Local Rivals Angels Again, Claim Third Place and Bragging Rights. Stupid old Therakham. Always ruining Angels party. Yes, as you will have noticed in the table above, Kuratmad's beloved side slumped to seventh place, miles away from the UICA positions they had set their sights on. But if that wasn't bad enough, the arch-enemies of the Red and Blue stormed to a bronze-medal finish in 5265 behind the calm and measured performances of standout center back Tamara Kotlyarova, the fiery midfield dynamism of Apox's Kirsten Cole, and the more-than-adequate offensive showings of attacker Zvonimir Ogonyuk. The skills of this scrappy bunch are a straight-up shitty omen for supporters of the Terrors' enemies, as the young side finished the year in astonishingly good form and threw in a nine-match unbeaten run just to spite us. They are far from naive, and may play a role in the title race next year if Juvapanam or Zhevassi lose talent.

"Nana-Nana-Boo-Boo, Stick Your Head In Doo-Doo," Proclaim Vindicated Urajbina Owners. Well, what do you know? We at the Herald proclaimed just months ago that Urajbina would surely finish in mid-table. Quite to the contrary, however, they played very well all year with their economy-model squad, achieved the Pazhujeb Islands' last UICA spot, and won a trophy (the Vahavi). Just goes to show you how much good an experienced manager will do you. Krytenia's Warren-Kennedy Worthington (the one-time boss of Avidia United and, prior to that, an Urajbina player) is such a manager. How long the Royals will manage to keep him in the dugout is debatable, but for now at least they are thrilled to have him. That he managed to pull such inspired performances out of his squad (particularly out of young midfielder Innokentiy Eltsov) is a testament to his great quality as a manager. Urajbina will grieve Juvapanam's league championship this year, but little else.

Taras Strogolev on Nekromanti: "I Think We Should Qualify For The Globe Cup Next Season." Urajbina seemed to be the city from which we received many an unexpectedly strong football performance, as it wasn't just the Yellow, Red, and Blue that finished well into the top half. Though many slammed the Red and Black's manager Strogolev for his arrogant attitude, the Necromancers obtained their best-ever finish by scorching past some of the league's seemingly better-equipped clubs and landing a fifth-place finish. They could have got higher, as well (Nekromanti spent most of the first half of the season in the top three), but they fell off near the end. Still, the display of this small, formerly Kagdaz club was overall very good indeed. Supporters will hope they can do just as well next season, but standout Sandilianusam Zhithuj may depart for a club that can pay him more (Juvapanam or Zhevassi, perhaps) in the close season.

Stadium Bids

Champions' Cup - Praça de Prata (66,000 seats)

The eternal home of the historic superclub Angels for its home matches, this venue is a famously imposing volcanic stone monolith growing out of the similarly stern Kuratmad District. As a sign of the district's traditional financial affluence and as an homage to the primary color of its home team, the stadium is adorned with rubies all around its exterior. Further, mirroring the architectural traditions of the surrounding neighborhood, it has many right angles in of structure, vaguely giving it the look of a primitive, ancient temple. Praça de Prata, which is Portuguese for the name of a now-long-forgotten mystery that may or may not have been solved by the Hardy Boys, has already played host to a Champions' Cup Final, in the 28th edition of club football's most prestigious match.

Globe Cup - Avazhughij Arena, Pkethat Šede (47,000 seats)

A rather new city that has only sprung up in the last few decades because of overpopulation in other parts of Pazhujebu, Pkethat Šede is located on Šede Island, which was for years left uninhabited because of its mysterious purple-and-green-tinted jungle. Legend holds that spirits reside there. If you’re ballsy enough to venture south from the city into the overgrowth, you’re bound to see Avazhughij Arena, home of Šede Island Shadows and Yastrabi Dyurtyuli. It almost looks simply like a huge glass wall, as only one stand is visible from beneath the cover of leaves and violet Šede fruit blossoms. Whatever you do, don’t turn up on Šede Island wearing anything more than a T-shirt; it gets swelteringly hot here and you might very well melt.

Cygnus Cup - Therakham Velodrama, Mahathu (52,000 seats)

The Therakham District of Kagdazka and Pazhujebu's capital has long had an inferiority complex when comparing themselves with their wealthy and arrogant neighbors from the Kuratmad district. (These hostilities are, incidentally, the focal point of the Mahathu Derby between Angels and Therakham.) But this recently-renovated stadium, home to Therakham ZL, is the pride of the black and blue half of the city. Its steep, almost vertical stands give players on the pitch the feeling that they are at the bottom of a huge cauldron, and its exterior is painted black with hi-tech blue LED lighting. Despite the modernities, visitors will be reminded by locals that the Velodrama has existed in this area of the capital for over a millenium.

With reunification complete Charmunnry domestic football finds it's progression arrested somewhat by an uncertainty or where to go from here. The league is probably an optimum size for a nation of Ancharmunn's size and investment to spearhead a rapid rise up the international standings looks unlikely. Therefore the state of play of a somewhat inwardly looking, sometimes amateurish but nonetheless passionately(ish) followed game looks set to continue. Onward! But not too much.

Tyneala Championship

When Sortherners last won the National Soccer League the Tyneala Championship was merely a blueprint in the football corridors of power in Ballyfeeaknock and Drayfill. This eagerly anticipated clash against Doverston (no, really) then represented their first opportunity to stake a claim as champions of all Tyneala, and boy did they grasp that task by the scruff of the neck. If etching out a scrappy 1-0 win can be described as such. Still, those in red and gold went home happy, and the plastic Snorths get another shiny trophy to put in their cabinet. Next to the replica World Cups they insist are rightfully theirs. One suspects the Championship might not take pride of place for too long.

Sortherners 1–0 Doverston

National Soccer League

From the moment that Rushmore Athletic, rather than one of the Ballyfeeaknock or Ballymairead clubs were installed as pre-season favourites, the 1100-01 season was clearly one for the underdog. The northwest and capital regions have traditionally been strongholds for football in Ancharmunn but this season it was the south that took the top three places. Rushmore Athletic never truly lived up to their favourites tag, but were still thereabouts and did enough to finish third, the fourth season in a row that they've finished in the top three. Moving inland Downcurron Thistles looked to be running away with the title for a good portion of the season, however a stunning run of form by Seersha County brought the title once again down to the final day. Seersha went in with a three point advantage and under the pressure both sides struggled away from home. Only a win would do for Downcurron, and though they managed three points against Dinas Drefhil the 1-0 victory was one of their least convincing performances of the season. Seersha meanwhile travelled to Ballyfeeaknock and thrice had to come from behind against Clotariens. Like Downcurron, Seersha's performance was hardly one of the highest quality, but it did include the requisite amount of heart, desire and bouncebackability that champions need.

All-Ancharmunn Challenge Cup

The season's trend for the lesser lights having their day carried over in the cup with all the Ballyfeeaknock and Ballymairead clubs being out by the time the semi-finals came around. Indeed their was a heightened sense of anticipation in the semi-finals with Dinas Drefhil and Caernankry City being the most recent competition winners amongst the four sides. They were league and cup winners respectively back in the 1093-94 season. Downcurron Thistles meanwhile have been waiting since their cup win of 1089-90 to expand their trophy cabinet, whilst Kumquat Orchard have yet to trouble a carpenter into even making any such storage space. The Orchard put in the performance of the semis with a 3-0 win over Caernankry to arouse excitement amongst the carpenters of Mullendroghed. However the Dinas Drefhil - Downcurron Thistles semi always looked like being the stronger one and the Thistle proved that by dispatching Kumquat Orchard 2-0 with consummate ease in the final.

Mangolana International Stadia Bid

Globe Cup
Grego-Johnson Stadium, Dalenderain (38,219)- The Finest stadium in Mangolana for the last 6 seasons. Provides great viewing from every seat and can be expanded to over 40,000 should the committee wish to have it expanded. Currently their is an area between each side of the stadium to seperate fan sections and to minimize the risk of injury and rioting. The area the stadium is located is also very well as it gives a great view of Lake Cygnus to its northern side

Polarian Stadium Bids

Champions' Cup
- Nasjonale Stadion
Image
The largest stadium in the Federation, the Nasjonale has been the home of the Terns since their inception, and despite its mega expansion just two cycles into their existence, still retains the same incredible atmosphere. Situated in the capital city of the nation, Franz Josef City, the transport links are exemplary, and the nation would enthusiastically welcome the biggest game in multiversal club football with open arms. Nasjonale managers propose that the stadium's Ostkurven stand, the home of the most fanatic Terns fans during international matches, is split 50/50 between fans of the finalists, as it is for Latitude Cup finals. This makes for exceptional atmosphere, and the 24/7 sunlight at the time of year the final will be held ensures that the final can be held at any time the sponsors/official broadcasters prefer.

Globe Cup
- Stadion Solberg
Image
With a passionate home following, FC. Surtsey have endured some tough seasons in their time, and are now enjoying a run of strong performances. A lot of this is thanks to the fine facilities they have at their disposal in Stadion Solberg, where noise form the fans reaches the teams easily, and the back room facilities are now second to none following an extensive upgrade. Sitting in pride of place in the Surtsey skyline, this would be a huge event for the entire island, and the match would have the full support of the state.

SBCC
- Uverdale Velde
Image
One of the biggest stadiums built in recent years, Uverdale Velde may not be the most recent but it is certainly the most modern and flashiest. There is no shortage of hospitality suites at this new jewel in the crown of Sibir's docklands skyline and it is the landmark piece of architecture in the area's redevelopment. What's more, as the home stadium of the reigning champions, you would be sure of a warm reception in this stadium, whatever the temperature.

Cygnus Cup
- Mossy Park
Image
The envy of all in Aasiaat across the water, this huge stadium is home to one of the oldest clubs in the Federation, Resolute Storm 1913 FC. With bags of character, this stadium is a mess of regeneration built upon expansion built upon modernisation built upon extension built upon... you get the point. The largest stadium in the Federation to still retain wooden load bearing structure in some areas, this stands will be awash with colour and noise, neatly framed by the surprisingly non-restrictive pillars. As the home of one of the first winners of our Latitude Cup, there could be no better place for the final of the cup winners' cup.

Copa de Campeones
- Carravale
Image
Red Star Severny fans are a patient bunch - they kind of have to be. And so this bid for the final of Rushmore's premier inter-club competition is seen as a bid for a little pomp and circumstance in the Novaya Zemlya city of Severny. Occasionally Globe Cup, but most often not, Red Star bounce around the table despite the intense home support and high quality of their stands. Carravale stands proud whatever, though, and this historic stadium is ready for another chapter.

Twenty-Eighth Aeropag Football Invitational

Invitees
The Paripana Sporting Council took a far more traditional approach than usual to inviting teams to this season’s Invitational, preparing ornate parchment scrolls which unfortunately, due to the rigors of modern shipping, had to be encased in a disturbing quantity of polystyrene foam pellets to reach their destinations undamaged. They took another traditional approach by directing one such shipment to Sortherners—the Charmunnry club, not just any random group of them they could find—but the destinations also included Ibex and Northern Sunrise Islands, whose leagues will be represented in Aeropag for the first time. Returning from last season’s event are Yuba United, seeking to defend their title and become the first three-time winner of the competition; Raynor City United, seeking to avenge their final defeat to the Silver-Blues; Four Bit Irregulars, seeking to improve upon a performance that was an embarrassment to Champions’ Cup winners everywhere; and Jungle Strike FC and Liria Prizren, whose motives are rather less exciting.

Draw
As usual, the format of the group stage would be four groups of four, with each team playing all of its group opponents once. Champions’ Cup winner Ituraitz FC was placed in Group A and Globe Cup winner Liria Prizren was again placed in Group B.

GROUP A: Ituraitz FC, Raynor City United, Four Bit Irregulars, Sortherners

GROUP D: Jungle Strike FC, SK Franz Josef City, Baṭal, Hapoel Maksiouta

Group stage
The standings for the group stage were determined, in order, by points, head-to-head result, goal difference, goals scored, and fair play standings. The winner of each group advanced to the playoff bracket (for 1st–4th place), the runner-up to the consolation bracket (for 5th–8th place), the third-placed team to the classification bracket (for 9th–12th place), and the fourth-placed team to the kindoff bracket (for 13th–16th place).

Kindoff bracket
After Four Bit Irregulars’ run to the kindoff last season, a kindoff between the Champions’ Cup and Globe Cup holders was nearly on the cards this season, but Gorriaka and die Schwarzgelben got their acts together at the last minute—metaphorically in the former instance and literally in the latter—and rescheduled their date for the thirteenth place match, where the result was predictable. Although Baṭal were always expected to struggle against the level of opposition they were up against, their style of play did them no favors—one pundit aptly described the Pirates as “bidirectional”, as they never quite looked sure as to whether they were playing from right to left or from left to right, and consequently failed to find the correct net. Ousteeble TU seemed to switch off after their initial delight at scoring against Yuba United in their opening match, stumbling their way into the kindoff, but they were able to capitalize on the hircine confusion to clinch fifteenth place.
KINDOFF SEMIFINALS
Ituraitz FC 1–0 Baṭal
Liria Prizren 1–1 Ousteeble TU (2–2 aet · 5–4 pen.)
KINDOFF: Baṭal 0–1 Ousteeble TU
THIRTEENTH PLACE MATCH: Ituraitz FC 3–0 Liria Prizren

Classification bracket
Sortherners briefly seemed to forget what it means to be a Sorthern club at the Aeropag Invitational, as they put in a stunningly competent performance against the current world champions before slumping to defeat against the two former world champions in their group. Mardi Lopunnies made quite a few friends over the course of the tournament, but otherwise appeared to make a fairly normal début, settling for twelfth place after falling to the Donkeys. Hapoel Maksiouta did better in one appearance than their domestic opponents Shatilova FC did in three, albeit only slightly, while a surprise win over Yuba United was all that saved Scott City FC from what would have been a dismal showing.
CLASSIFICATION SEMIFINALS
Sortherners 0–0 Hapoel Maksiouta (0–0 aet · 2–4 pen.)
Mardi Lopunnies 0–2 Scott City FC
ELEVENTH PLACE MATCH: Sortherners 2–1 Mardi Lopunnies
NINTH PLACE MATCH: Hapoel Maksiouta 0–2 Scott City FC

Consolation bracket
Although many a commentator quipped that “it’s just not a consolation bracket” without Vilitan representation, which had been present for the last four seasons, the organizers of this year’s event were kind enough to confirm that it is still officially known as a consolation bracket regardless. Raynor City United supporters will feel that a questionable Sortherners goal denied them their chance to return to the final, but it’s unclear who would have advanced had it been disallowed; Four Bit Irregulars finished atop the group’s fair play table by a slim margin, which could easily be attributed to the Rockers’ remonstrations. SK Franz Josef City also set their sights on the final, but were more clearly denied by the aforementioned Vilitan representation. The Vanorian side won the challenging semifinal, and both teams struggled, but eventually overcame their opponents of lesser pedigree to earn fifth and seventh place.
CONSOLATION SEMIFINALS
Raynor City United 1–0 SK Franz Josef City
FC Deska 1–0 Moresville FC
SEVENTH PLACE MATCH: SK Franz Josef City 2–2 Moresville FC (2–2 aet · 4–3 pen.)
FIFTH PLACE MATCH: Raynor City United 0–0 FC Deska (1–0 aet)

Playoff bracket
The ancient powerhouses of Strike and Yuba dismantled their opponents with almost-Teutonic efficiency in the semifinals, but Four Bit Irregulars didn’t let that bother them (or, if they did, they let it bother them less than it did Mi’ato) and became the first Miskatonic medalists in the tournament. The Silver-Blues did become the first Invitational champion to reach the final in defense of their title—although they’re only the sixth team to be granted the opportunity to defend their title—but failed to finish the job, losing 2–1 to the Venom. Vilita thus becomes the seventh association to have two clubs win the Invitational, and Yuba United loses as many matches in one campaign as they did in their previous four.
PLAYOFF SEMIFINALS
Four Bit Irregulars 0–4 Jungle Strike FC
Mi’ato 1–4 Yuba United
THIRD PLACE MATCH: Four Bit Irregulars 2–1 Mi’ato
FINAL: Jungle Strike FC 2–1 Yuba United

Final classification
As always, in addition to the prize money, each team receives a set of goody bags as a reward for participation. The amount of goodies on offer varies according to placement, with a total cash value of 109.3 g Au for teams in the kindoff bracket, 198.4 g for teams in the classification bracket, 249 g for teams in the consolation bracket, and 490 g for teams in the playoff bracket. Teams finishing first, second, and third receive the appropriate medals, teams finishing first through fourth are awarded trophies of varying size, and teams finishing fifth or lower get a commemorative plaque.

Rules
The champions of associations entitled to places in the Champions’ Cup group stage qualify for the Champions’ Cup—currently Jasĭyun and Capitalizt SLANI.
The Jasĭyun Ligĭ consists of all Jasĭyun members in Élite League One and Élite League Two. Members relegated from Élite League Two are expelled from the league, and members promoted to Élite League Two are admitted to the league.
The other associations’ leagues relegate a fixed number of teams, unless a lesser number is necessary in order to satisfy the requirements that neither Élite League members nor teams finishing in the top half of the table may be relegated. The association members finishing highest in the main league system are promoted to the association championship, including any team promoted to the Élite League.
The SLANI Superleague and Lontorikanische Oberliga normally relegate and promote three teams.
The Ligue francophone du Paripana and Premier Community Football League normally relegate and promote two teams.

Is it a rocket? No! Is it a bird? Try again...it's...a host bid!

Valladares (VLD) final site bids

Globe Cup: Dragon Stadium, Canalave (Cap. 50,987)

The Valladar Football Association, the Mayoralty of Canalave, and the Executive Board of Canalave Dragons Football Club wish to put, once again, Dragon Stadium to the consideration of the UICA Selection Committee as a potential venue for the next Globe Cup final.

Located to the east of the city of Canalave, in the Trefford neighbourhood, 15 minutes away from the city centre, and mostly known for being the venue for the Canalave Crown match, this stadium was built in 1993 and initially seated 35,000 fans, however, it was unpopular among Canalave Dragons' fans and football fans in general due to its shape and the fact that the stands were too far from the field, hence failing to create an ideal atmosphere for the game. After undergoing radical remodeling works which brought the stands closer to the pitch in order to ensure a better atmosphere and also replaced the old bowl-shaped stands by four rectangular, all-seated stands, the stadium's capacity was increased from 35,000 to 50,987.

The VFA, the local authorities, and the club Canalave Dragons believe that Dragon Stadium will be up to the UICA Selection Committee expectations and, should this bid is chosen, they will do their best to ensure this Globe Cup final is a memorable one not only for the finalist teams and their fans, but also for the footballing multiverse as a whole.

Brief Poll about the Vilitan League Seasonal Report:

>> Take Poll <<

THROUGH MATCHDAY 16:

Mliona-Lpaka AFC completed the season sweep of Strike FC allowing Makosile United to open their lead atop the table to 9 points with 12 matchdays to play. Strike had only themselves to blame after a Matchday 15 defeat to Turoki United prevented them from gaining ground back on Makosile United who were handed their first defeat of the season by a surging Mliona-Lpaka AFC.

Strike recovered against Kiiarana City to close back to within 7 points after Makosile were held to a 1-1 draw with Turoki United. However, Strike would have to be more concerned with what was behind them instead of in front of them, with 7 teams within 6 points eying Strike's place in the UICA Champions Cup. At the bottom of the table, 4 teams were battling within a single point of each other and seemed destined to stay intertwined in a relegation battle for the remainder of the season.

With no surprises, the Kionao Locals, Lonngeylin Coast, Kiiarana City and the Yeaddin Owls found themselves at the foot of the table battling for survival with a further 9 point gap to the 10th place side Cednia Beach AFC.

THROUGH MATCHDAY 20:

Both Makosile and Strike were held to draws on Matchday 17 allowing the field to close the gap on the leading duo.

All eyes were then focused on the Track Venture Field in Sile for the Matchday 18 clash between the Makos and Strike FC.

The 1-2 battle certainly had major implications, with Makosile virtually assured of their second ever title if they could come out victorious over the Stellar Divisions winningest side on the day.

After a goalless first half, the Makos took the lead on 53 minutes to the delight of the home fans, who started prematurely chanting things about the championship. Strike FC, two-time defending champions of the Stellar Division, had something to say about that. A Viji-mara Lawaai Brace and an insurance tally from substitute Relmar Winauat over the final 20 minutes completely flipped the script as Strike's victory set up a much more interesting stretch run with 4 points between the top 2 with 6 games to play.

Things would get worse for the Makos who seemed to be falling victim to what now seemed to be the seasonal Sile-curse. Traveling to the Arcticala Electrical Stadium, a pair of goals from Kiroki Mitaroka put Arcticala Inlet out in front early. Makosile tried to fight back, with Rainbow Blitz scoring a rare goal late in the match, but it was the third defeat of the season for Makosile coming at the worst possible time.

In Lonngeylin, Strike FC were on their way to a 5-0 demolition of the relegation threatened Kionao Turori Locals that cut the gap at the top to just a single point and padded the Venom's goal differential advantage in the case of a tie.

Makosile had to respond, and they did so in emphatic fashion when they visited Kionao Minor Field on Matchday 20. Xcnaio Bansoa had a natural hattrick secured just 15 minutes into the match and added a 4th before 20 minutes had been played. In the end, the Makos had one-upped their Championship rivals by putting 6 goals past Kionao who now found themselves at the foot of the Stellar Division table.

THE STRETCH RUN:
::STANDINGS WITH 5 GAMES TO PLAY::
1 :: [44] - Makosile
2 :: [41] - Strike
3 :: [37] - Colonial Sile
4 :: [36] - Turoki United

11 :: [19] - Kiiarana City
12 :: [16] - Yeaddin Owls
13 :: [13] - Lonngeylin Coast
14 :: [12] - Kionao Locals

Strike were held on Matchday 21 by a Yeaddin Owls side desperate to put some breathing room between themselves and 13th place Lonngeylin Coast in the fight for survival. This allowed Makosile, 2-0 winners over a faltering Morata Valley side, to stretch the lead at the top back to 3 points.

----
Another draw on Matchday 22 was a critical setback to Strike's title chances as Makosile pulled out a 2-0 victory over the Yeaddin Owls, appearing to shake the Sile curse and stretch the lead atop the table back out to 5 points.

Things were compounded for the Owls as Kionao Locals pulled out an unexpected 3-0 victory over the floundering Morata Valley side to inch just 1 point behind the Owls and Stellar Division safety.

The race for third place continued to heat up as Colonial Sile were beaten by Mliona-Lpaka allowing the field to tighten.

13 :: [15] - Kionao Locals
14 :: [14] - Lonngeylin Coast

Makosile opened the door on Matchday 23 as they allowed a rare Michael Coburn goal to upend them as the Turoki Tide defeated them 1-0.

Strike FC took advantage of the slip up to pull within 2 points as they recorded victory in the Lonngeylin derby over Lonngeylin Coast.

The Yeaddin Owls dropped to the foot of the table after a 3-1 defeat by fellow strugglers the Kionao Locals.
::STANDINGS WITH 3 GAMES TO PLAY::

Just as soon as it seemed the curse of Sile had spared the Makos, they began to fall into the same old trap. Makosile dropped points once again on Matchday 24 with Rainbow Blitz's opening goal cancelled out in a 1-1 draw.

Luckily for the Makos, Strike FC were also held after a 2-2 draw with Colonial Sile, keeping the spread at a two points.

Even Turoki United had clawed into the fight, still mathematically in the hunt 5 points back with 2 matches to play.

The Yeaddin Owls finally snapped a 6-match winless streak to pull out a 3-1 victory over Morata Valley to pull themselves out of the relegation zone and drag Morata Valley into the fight after a dismal second half of the season that had yet to see Morata Valley win a single match.

THE DECISIVE FINISH:

Knowing they that a pair of victories would claim the title for them, Makosile were not about to let the Stellar Division's bottom side stand in there way. It wasn't easy however, as the Makos just squeezed out a 1-0 victory over Lonngeylin Coast.

Strike FC matched them, however, with a 2-0 victory over Kiiara-Torra to keep the pressure on the Makos to get a victory on the final matchday if they wanted to earn their title.
::STANDINGS WITH 1 GAME TO PLAY::

12 :: [19] - Yeaddin Owls
13 :: [18] - Kionao Locals
14 :: [17] - Lonngeylin Coast

There were two massive matchups to be played on the final Matchday. One, at the top of the table, was the Sile Derby. Leaders Makosile would need a victory to ensure their second ever Stellar Division title - but rivals Colonial Sile would have no sympathy.

At the bottom of the table, the Kionao Locals and Lonngeylin Coast would meet in Lonngeylin knowing that one of them - and possibly both of them, would be relegated at the end of the day. However, both could save themselves with a victory and other positive results.

Colonial Sile would put the pressure on early, getting a shot in on the opening attack that Makosile goalkeeper Atacir Tivalan could not hold on to. Luckily for those in the Shark Cage, the second effort was sent well wide of the net. After loads over early pressure from Colonial, however, there was a turn in the match that seemed destined to clear the path for the Makos. Star midfielder Tujamu Treola was sent off for Colonial, reducing them to ten men just before the half.

Both matches at the top of the table ended goalless at half time, with Strike FC continuing to be held by Cednia Beach in a situation where 3 points would give them the title.

At the bottom of the table, it was draws all around and status quo maintained for the time being.

The second half in Sile was a much more Makosile-dominated affair with the championship leaders repeatedly testing the Colonial Sile goalkeeper. However, as the hour mark came and went, things became increasingly more tense. Due to goal differential, fans at Colonial Field knew that just a single goal from Strike FC could knock Makosile off their perch and strip them of the Stellar Division title.

The 80th minute came and went and there was still no score at either venue. The Makosile supporters inside hostile territory at Colonial Field had an air of cautious optimism about them, but no one was relying and Cednia Beach to keep Strike FC pegged back. They knew they would probably still need to score to ensure the title was theirs.

Meanwhile, at the bottom of the table, Lonngeylin Coast had taken a 2-1 lead over the Kionao Locals but the Yeaddin Owls responded with a goal of their own to keep Lonngeylin pegged down in the relegation zone.

90 minutes had been played, and now it was only extra time that stood between Makosile United and their second stellar division title. At this point, the score in the Cednia Beach - Strike match was on every-bodies mind, just waiting for that result to go final. However, the Makos had nothing to lose in going for the winning goal as the difference between a draw and a defeat on the day was nothing in the final table.

2 minutes into stoppage time, the atmosphere was building outside the stadium as fans of the Makos prepared to celebrate in the shadows of their biggest rivals.

Finally, the final whistle blew. Makosile United were champions in one of the most tense final matchdays in Stellar Division history where a pair of goalless draws ended up making the difference.

Strike FC would have no one to blame but themselves for their failure to secure their third consecutive title, having been unable to properly test Cednia Beach's Jaqe Planst after 8 goalscoring opportunities resulted in just 2 real save attempts needing to be made.

Turoki United matched their all time best with a 3rd place finish while Mliona-Lpaka once again earned their Champions Cup place finishing in 4th. The final place in the Champions Cup was decided between the two newly-promoted teams from the Declasse as Arcticala Inlet edged out Kiiara-Torra by a single point.

As seems to be tradition of late, the Yeaddin Owls once again finished one position outside the UICA Qualifying places, having barely survived relegation with a 1-0 victory over the Turoki Tide on the final matchday, condemning Lonngeylin Coast and the Kionao Locals to the Declasse for Season 39.

**First Season in Vilitan League

THROUGH MATCHDAY 16:
The Turorian sides continued their hunt of the top 2 with Inura Forests and FC Almintora sitting level on 3rd and 4th but a 7 point gap remained back up to 2nd place Eastal Lunar, with a further 4 to leaders Jlinal Cove.

The more alarming thing at the other end of the table was the plight of two of the biggest names in Vilitan League history. Inland Peaks FC, a forming member of the Stellar Division and former Stellar Division runner up, was sitting at the foot of the table with just 1 win on the season and 5 points shy of Irottea FC in 12th place.

It was a further 6 points to a less threatened, but still ominously positioned Marine Coast United who were staring at their lowest league finish in history if they could not improve over the final 10 matchdays.

THROUGH MATCHDAY 20:

Inura Forests continued to chase Eastal Lunar with 5 points separating the sides with 6 matches to play while Jlinal Cove FC had already set sail for their record 5th Declasse title.

However, Inura Forests were just a single point ahead of Tivali City, Akisa Surta and FC Almintora who were also eyeing the promotion places.

At the bottom of the table, Inland Peaks had strung together a trio of victories to climb out of the relegation zone leaving Irottea FC and Rammsissil in the relegation zone.

THE PROMOTION BATTLE:
Inura Forests defeat to Marine Coast United on Matchday 21 all but ended their faint promotion hopes while Eastal Lunar's victory pulled them to within 5 points of leaders Jlinal Cove setting up a potential championship battle over the final matchdays. However, Tivali City had other ideas, upending Eastal Lunar to ensure they didn't get too far ahead of the pack with 4 matchdays to play.

Jlinal Cove's 1-1 draw with Akisa Surta on Matchday 23, coupled with Tivali City's draw at the Coliseum of the Inurahtii, was enough to ensure a return to the top flight for Jlinal Cove.

The title was still not decided, however, as Eastal Lunar's 1-0 win over Rammsissil allowed them to pull within 4 points.

::STANDINGS WITH 3 GAMES TO PLAY::
1 :: [46] - Jlinal Cove
2 :: [42] - Eastal Lunar
3 :: [35] - Tivali City
4 :: [33] - 4 Teams

The big game came on Matchday 24 as Eastal Lunar travelled to the Jlinal Cove Complex for a 1-2 battle that was either going to secure Jlinal Cove's 5th title and send Eastal Lunar into a promotion battle, or, seal promotion for Eastal Lunar and set up a thrilling finish as the two promoted sides battled for the trophy.

The match was decided with a moment of brilliance just past the hour mark and Eastal Lunar came away with the 1-0 victory. While there was no longer any promotion places left to fight for, the two sides would be looking for the other to slip up over the final two matchdays in order to claim the Declasse title for themselves.

THE FINAL MATCHDAY:
With Irottea FC and Rammisissil already relegated, all attention was on the top 2 as Jlinal Cove FC entered the final matchday with a 2 point advantage over Eastal Lunar.

Neither had an easy matchup on the final day of competition, with leaders Jlinal Cove at home to 3rd placed side Turoki Isle while Eastal Lunar had to travel to Lonngeylin to face 5th placed Lonngeylin City.

A draw for Jlinal Cove was likely to be enough to seal their 5th Declasse title and thats exactly what they got in a 1-1 result that would see Jlinal Cove crowned Declasse Champions for a record extending 5th time in club history. Tivali City leapfrogged Turoki Isle into third place on the final matchday as Irottea FC and Rammsissil played their final matches in the league system and both Inland Peaks FC and Marine Coast United failed to qualify in the UICA places.

Vilitan Cup Pod Stage:

The fairy tale ended early for the Crosaibi Locals were were unable to crack through the wall put up by goalkeeper Nycflala Kater as Kiiara-Torra ran off 4-0 winners on aggregate to book their place in the semi-final.

Strike FC rode a pair of 1-0 victories to a 2-0 aggregate advantage over the Turoki Tide.

After a goalless matchup in Lonngeylin, Colonial Sile and Lonngeylin Coast played a back and forth exciting second leg that saw Lonngeylin Coast take 1-0 and 2-1 leads before finally going ahead 3-2 ten minutes from time to advance to the Semi-Finals for the third time in club history.

Defending Champions Turoki United set themselves up well for a semi-final place after a 1-1 draw in Turori against Mliona-Lpaka but the title defense came to an abrupt halt in the return leg as a double from Liinai Zakazaka finally sent Turoki United packing.

Vilitan Cup Semi-Finals: (Two Legs)

The Semi-Final draw ensured at least one team would qualify for its first ever Vilitan Cup final with twice-beaten Semi-Finalists Lonngeylin Coast drawn against Kiiara-Torra who's previous best showing was elimination at the Quarter Final stage.

In stark contrast, the other semi final saw the Vilitan Champions Strike FC square off against the top team in Turori, Mliona-Lpaka.

Goals from Relmar Winauat, Yves Gadois and Viji-mara Lawaai helped propel Strike to a 3-1 advantage after the first leg at the Lonngeylin Coliseum with Mliona-Lpaka having it all to do when the teams returned to Turori.

It was not to be, however, as the two goalkeepers fought it out to a goalless draw that was enough to see Strike FC through to the Cup Final.

In the other matchup, Nycflala Kater had perhaps proven the ultimate success story in virtually single-handedly transforming Kiiara-Torra from a see-sawing also ran to a true title competitor. Just one season removed from leading the team to the Declasse title Kater led Kiiara-Torra to their first ever Vilitan Cup Final - avoiding an all-Lonngeylin based Cup Final derby.

Kiiara-Torra (Stellar) 4-1 Lonngeylin Coast (Stellar); Jungle Strike FC (Stellar) 3-1 Mliona-Lpaka Turori (Stellar)

Vilitan Cup Final:

Much as was the case in the Tropical Trophy, Strike FC pitted their team full of international super-stars against a team built mostly of local talents that will never appear in an international match.

However, this match was a little different. When the teams walked out of the tunnel on this day at the Tivali Ring Stadium, it would be the mentor against the prodigy.

Former Strike FC goalkeeper Nycflala Kater, after spending 10 seasons playing at the Lonngeylin Coliseum, moved up the coast to Kiiara for a new challenge and helped lead Kiiara-Torra to the Declasse title, the Cup Final and just one point shy of a place in the UICA Champions Cup.

Now, he would walk along side the player he passed all his knowledge onto - the Young Audioslavian who had done what hundreds of years worth of Audioslav's had failed to do: Lead Audioslavia to the World Cup Final... and win it. Not only that, he had done it twice.

It was billed as an epic goalkeeping matchup between two of the best netminders to ever play in the Vilitan League. Strike, however, had loads of attacking presence that desired to change that moniker.

Strike immediately announced their intentions to pressure Nycflala Kater's goal with a pair of good chances - one that was called offside and a second that resulted in a free kick that was dealt with confidently by the Kiiara-Torra wall.

Strike were dealt an early blow however when Tropical Trophy hero Riksa Valjariia was injured and had to go off. The Venom responded well, however, with Viji-mara Lawaai having a header just 7 yards out that Kater somehow got a hand to push over the bar and out for a corner that didn't materialize to anything.

Lawaai was the trouble maker for the Venom, as he continued to win his arial battles and put Kater into action trying to predict where the headers would go. Kater had done perfectly through the opening 45 minutes, however, and the teams entered the half goalless.

Lita Adjei tried his luck after a Coll Brodie cross but his attempt was not half as nice as Lawaai's. Just moments later, Lawaai looked to show Adjei how it was done.

Lawaai rose tall and connected with yet another solid header. This time, the ball beat Kater and appeared destined for the back of the net. However, just as Lawaai looked to celebrate, the ball struck the inside of the post and bounced out, behind the goalkeeper before being cleared away to safety by the Kytlerian Arthur Moon.

It was a tense time but Kiiara-Torra were continuing to survive the pressure with save after save from Nycflala Kater leading to corner after corner for the Venom.

It was nearly an hour into the match before Kajaxo Imaslavii had his first work to do conceding a corner kick. Perhaps it was the realization that this match was not yet won that finally spurred the Lonngeylin side into action as they marched up the field after clearing the danger and got on the scoreboard with Lita Adjei this time directing Coll Brodie's cross into the back of the net instead of the back of the grand stand.

Try as they might, the Kiiara-Torra lineup just was not strong enough to cut through the defensive line of Strike and the Venom cruised to their 10th all-time Vilitan Cup title.

Kiiara-Torra 0-1 Jungle Strike FC

Vilita (VIL) final site bids

Globe Cup: Colonial Field, Sile (107,500 Seated)
Colonial Field, home of Colonial Sile FC, hosted its first international matches during the World Cup 59 Finals.

Series B Champions’ Cup: Lunar Park, Seraai (capacity 129,000)
Lunar Park became the largest stadium in Vilita at the time of its construction. Although some stadiums have added poor quality seating to exceed the 129,000 capacity mark, Lunar Park offers quality seats all around the stadium, and onlookers sometimes get treated to events such as Rocket Launches and suborbital testing as the stadium was constructed by the Vilitan Space Program overlooking some of their active launch facilities. Lunar Park is the home of Vilitan side Eastal Lunar FC and hosted the final of the Cup of Harmony 50: Golden Edition and the 26th Di Bradini Cup; as well as the final of the 37th UICA Series 'B' Champions Cup.

Turori (TUR) final site bids
Globe Cup: Eels Park, Eelandii (capacity 68,000)
The brand new Eels Park arena in "Eelandii" - A fictional city according to the official map of Turori, located between the capital of Almintora and the center of sport in Cednia, was opened for the World Cup 63 Finals hosted in Turori as well as Aguazul. The Arena has since hosted matches during the 26th Di Bradini Cup and due to its moderate size is one of the most atmospheric venues in all of Turori. Turorian National Team matches not being held in Cednia are likely to be held at Eels Park instead of Almintora National Stadium in the future.

Series B Champions Cup: Coliseum of the Inurahtii, Inura Forest (capacity 88,000)
Located in the deep forest of Turori away from the population centers, the Coliseum of the Inurahtii began construction around World Cup 31, but construction was off and on until a purpose could be found. The grand vision was to have a stadium facing the beautiful forest with the sea off in the distance, visible to those in the large eastern grandstand that towered above the canopy in the original plans. Finally, the Football Association of Turori agreed that if the stadium was completed, they would host some national team matches there. Additionally, the Vilitan League allowed Turorian Expansion team "Inura Forests FC" to be join the non-league ranks as an official member, playing based at the Coliseum during Season 27.

Season 20,050

It was the usual two battling for the top, yet what surprised was how Capri came out of nowhere to have a splendid year, finishing third and capturing their first piece of silverware in many season with a Silver Cup triumph over fourth placed Mar Sara. Also, Gladerial has once more secured their promotion back into the Premiership. The question is now can the historic side maintain their spot in the topflight and maybe get back to challenging for titles like in years past when they held the record for the most topflight titles in the Vanorian lands. Sadly, Ibini finally faltered and will see a season without international competition for what seems like the first time in a long time. In truth, it was a mostly average season for the league, nothing spectacular happening, perhaps that will change with the international ties, when they are announced later this month.

Valanora's (VAL) Final Site Bids
Champions Cup 48: Artani (74,000), Mar Sara - Located in the heart of Mar Sara, this modern stadium was built just under three decades ago with the best technology that the world has to offer. It is owned and operated by Mar Sara FC of the Elven Premier League and is routinely used by the VFA for domestic cup Final sites when a Mar Sara side is not in the Final. Artani offers all the best money can buy when it comes to a quality stadium and hopes to welcome all to the bread basket capital of Valanora.

Globe Cup 45: The Battleground (78,000), Raynor City - In the middle of the sprawling capital of Valanora, The Battleground is one of the oldest stadiums in the country. It underwent a major renovation nearly fifty years ago to become the premier and largest stadium in all of Valanora. Rail from all over the capital have stops outside the stadium making it easily accessible to all citizens and visitors to Valanora's capital. It has hosted several domestic and international Finals and is used to the commotion that large scale matches create and can accommodate all with proper security and seating. While not as new as Artani, the renovations made to the stadium have made it the premier stadium of Valanora.

O-LEAGUE : SEASON XI - PART SEVEN

MATCHDAY 29
In the end, the title race is a bit of a damp squib. Avidia do the job against Stanton, and tie up the league with a game to spare as Casuals fluff their big scene at the IOS.

At the bottom, Thackworth's defeat consigns them to the drop, but there will be much squeaking of buttocks above them. Caledon have twenty-seven points, just two behind Neathill, Kallia, and Linford.

Results:
Avidia United 2-0 Stanton Town
Emberton Reds 3-2 Casuals Osteria
AFC Linford 2-0 Caledon Simpson
Royal Emberton 0-1 Aigburth Athletic
New Cefn Albion 2-2 Neathill
Bradwell Saints 1-0 Beckton Supermarine
Caversham 1-1 Kallia United
Avidia City 2-1 Thackworth Rovers

MATCHDAY 30
While the fans of Casuals took in a final day win over the champions, and wondered over what might have been, the bottom was far less sepia toned. Caledon got the win they needed to keep their hopes alive; and fruit was borne unto them as Linford beat Neathill in the Northern Derby, relegating the men in yellow and green.

Results:
Casuals Osteria 3-2 Avidia United
Caledon Simpson 4-2 Stanton Town
Aigburth Athletic 0-6 Emberton Reds
Neathill 0-1 AFC Linford
Beckton Supermarine 1-3 Royal Emberton
Kallia United 1-0 New Cefn Albion
Thackworth Rovers 1-1 Bradwell Saints
Avidia City 3-2 Caversham

KFA CUP XXI : THE FINAL
Avidia United 3-0 Kallia United (Isserson Olympic Stadium, Emberton)

Avidia United secure the double, and Globe Cup football for Royal Emberton, with a comfortable win at the IOS.

Champions Cup Hosting Bid
Bastion Arena

After it successfuly hosted the final of the 36th Globe Cup, the Bastion Arena is once again to host a significant UICA competition final. The occasion had gone swimmingly and it was a proud moment for Eura, which stood tall as it hosted one of the great UICA finals.

The area around the stadium and its primary facilities have changed little and remain in peak condition as they were for the last bid attempt. Transport is very good in the area, with many well maintained main roads around it and plentiful parking. Memorial Hill International Airport is nearby, one of Bastion's four international airports. There will be an extensive park and ride system in place and a special temporary train schedule will be sorted out to allow for quick transit to the stadium. The stadium itself has a capacity of 110,000 (it was expanded by 12,000 seats in the summer), and is specifically designed to maximise the amount of playing area available and the visibility of the event to fans. It has world class catering and facilities throughout the ground, as well as 5,000 executive seats and boxes for various VIP's and sporting agencies.

The stadium has a very high quality pitch with an undersoil heating and multi-event capability system, allowing it to be quickly modified for multiple sports - but it serves best as a football pitch, a large one, allowing free flowing, attacking and hopefully injury free play. It also has extensive safety procedures and a government enforced minimum of stewards per game, making it one of the safest grounds in the world. After an incident in a World Cup qualifier between Eura and West Angola, there will be armed police on standby in case of emergencies. However, its atmosphere is perhaps it’s greatest quality. This stadium concentrates the noise of fans into a passionate atmosphere with its state of the art architecture, which is matched by an impressive lighting and audio suite and large interactive scoreboards.

The seating allocation provided has once again changed, as Bastion Arena's top tier was once again raised and expanded during the summer. The capacity has risen now, from 98,000 to 110,000, an expansion of 12,000 seats. The stadium, which was originally built to accomodate 90,000 fans, cannot be expanded beyond its current size without significant redevelopment. This expansion was carried out with this final in mind, though it also important that it remains able to satisfy the needs of the Euran FA for international and domestic football. In other words, it must remain open during the imminent nationwide stadium expansion plan subsidized by the government.

- 43,500 seats for both sets of fans. (87,000 over all.) The two sections of fans will be segregated – one half of the stadium for one set of fans, the other half for the opposition fans.
- 17,500 seats for neutral supporters, 12,500 of which will be guaranteed for FSSO citizens.
- 5,000 executive seats for dignitaries and VIP’s, which will be divided appropriately amongst the clubs and other groups.
- 500 seats to remain empty to divide segregated fan sections.

After this success, the FSSOFA, Bastion Football Club, B-Arena PLC and the Ministry of Sport are all convinced Bastion is ready to host the greatest final of them all; the final of the Champions Cup.
---NOTE--- Do not use my nation name. In RP, my nation is known simply as Eura, denonym Euran.

Tiiaupila, Nrubari Look for International Transfers

Vilita National Team players Jawz Tiiaupila and Cristoh Nrubari are looking to make an international domestic transfer after opting not to renew their contracts in the Vilitan League.

28 year old Goalkeeper Jawz Tiiaupila made his first appearance for the Vilitan National Team in a shock defeat against Brendino the 3rd during World Cup 57 Qualifications. The 1-3 defeat was pointed at by many critics as the sole reason the Jungle Cats were unable to make a return to the World Cup Finals, dropping a full three points against the groups bottom side and inevitably finishing just one point out of the playoff zone. Tiiaupila moved from Inland Rovers on a loan to newly promoted Hojosan in The Yorozura after WC57 quals as part of an investment deal with the clubs kit sponsors, VIlitan based Vilaye energy drink. When the Yorozura league collapsed, Tiiaupila returned to the Inland joining Inland Peaks FC where he would spend a season before joining Mliona-Lpaka Turori after their promotion to the Stellar Division. Tiiaupila became a solid performer at Mliona-Lpaka as their only recognized international player during a Season 33 campaign that saw them rise to 4th in the V-League table, earning a place in the UICA Champions League for the first time in club history, a trend that continued throught Tiiaupula's tenure at Mliona-Lpaka.

Cristoh Nrubari was a prospect out of the Kiiara Academy who signed his first professional contract with Mliona-Lpaka in Turori. Nrubari was instrumental in Mliona-Lpaka's return to the Stellar Division before moving on to other opportunities. Nrubari got the chance to play in the UICA Champions League, joining Makosile United after their breakthrough Season 31 Stellar Division title. Nrubari would remain at Makosile playing a low-praise but high impact role in their seasonal success. The midfielder, now aged 30, has been capped over 10 times for the Vilitan National Team.

Any team interested in signing either Tiiaupila or Nrubari for the upcoming UICA and domestic campaign should contact Vilita via TG with a proposal and any pertinent background information.

Vilitan Club's Open Doors for New Foreign Transfers

No fewer than four Vilitan clubs have announced their intentions to consider adding new foreign players to their roster ahead of the 39th Vilitan League Season.

3-Time Champions the Turoki Tide posted an 8th place finish in the Stellar Division during Season 38, the clubs worst placement in the modern era. The Tide have turned to Ematora Pikiaka to lead the team for Season 39 and the new manager has stated that he would be open to bringing at least one foreign player, not currently in the Vilitan League, into the squad for the new campaign.

Elsewhere in the Stellar Division, Kristin Duodu makes no such limitations on the amount of foreign players that might be joining Kiiara-Torra for the upcoming UICA and V-League campaigns. Kiiara-Torra just narrowly missed out on Champions Cup competition after being promoted as Declasse champions just one season ago. Now, Duodu is looking to add international talent to the roster in order to compete for a position in the top 5 - a realistic possibility with the experience of Vilitan Goalkeeper Nycflala Kater anchoring the roster.

Newly promoted Declasse side Mavaloiao have a history of looking internationally for its stars. Formerly the home of Jamie Long of Homelands our and, perhaps more famously, being the team that brought Saugeais forward Kuzman Ruslan to the Vilitan League, the Bears are back in the League and looking for players wherever they can get them. Rumors have been floating about that Mavaloiao are looking to woo Ruslan back to the club in a Player/Manager role, but regardless of who is at the helm, Mavaloiao are looking to buy.

Elsewhere in the Declasse division, Marine Coast United, 3-time Stellar Division Champions, may also be considering an international transfer.

Any player interested in joining the Vilitan League should contact Vilita via TG with a proposal and any pertinent background information supporting the move.

Makosile Turn to Familiar Faces for Champions Cup

After winning the Vilitan Stellar Division for the second time in Club History, Makosile United and their head coach wasted little time before dipping into the transfer market to bolster the squad ahead of their UICA Champions Cup campaign. However, it wasn't a bunch of new names or foreign unknowns that Otieno went after. Instead, a pair of former Makosile players returned to basque in the glory of their former clubs success.

Farfadillis' Ichi Tuzzio returned after spending some time in Turori at Mliona-Lpaka where he would have had Champions Cup competition regardless. Vilita's Sirkii Moliaudo was in the same boat, leading Arcticala Inlet back to the Champions Cup after spending a season in the Declasse Division. Moliaudo, however, wasn't sticking around and decided to return to Sile for the Champions Cup and Season 39 V-League campaigns.

Strike Claim AFI Gold for First Time

Makosile will be joined in the group stage of the Champions Cup by Jungle Strike FC who added Steffyn Siazzu from Cednia Beach and young Turorian prospect Enluta Makakio from Inura Forests.

Strike FC were bolstered by their success in the Aeropag Football Invitational. After outscoring their opposition 7-1 in the Group stage and recording a perfect three victories, the Venom advanced to the Playoff Bracket - a rare feat for a Vilitan club. A Semi-Final matchup with the Four Bit Irregulars was no problem for Strike who were buoyed by a hattrick from Viji-mara Lawaai and a goal from Lita Adjei giving the Venom a 4-0 victory and sending them through to the final where they looked to become the second Vilitan club to claim the gold.

The final would be a blast from the past as Strike were drawn against the Silver-Blues of Yuba United. The two oldest clubs in the competition had outlasted the field and squared off for the Gold.

For Yuba United, it was their second consecutive finals appearance as they looked for their third Aeropag title. The Paripana side got off to a golden start taking the lead inside 5 minutes. But as the match went on, the Silver-Blues invited Strike's offense to create chances. Friekder Dandalleion provided the cross that led to the equalizing goal just before the half, finding Riksa Valjariia who capped off an impressive season by pulling the Venom Level.

The second half was a real dogfight in midfield but Strike would eventually take their chance through leading goalscorer Viji-mara Lawaai, sealing victory and Aeropag gold in the Vilitan club's 5th attempt in the competition.
