As there seems to be some confusion on the super-tiebreak, here's an overview: the super tiebreak is like a tiebreak for a regular set, except it is to ten POINTS, not ten games.

Willinger Overcomes Tadpole, three Llamaneans in Ro16

It was a tough battle, but in the end Willinger's six-foot-plus stature, opposable thumbs, and killer forehand beat out the logic-defying Betty the Homeless Tadpole (duh).

Willinger got out to a good start, thrashing the Tadpole six-three, before dropping a set seven-six. But he recovered, sending Betty home with a six-three win.

However, Willinger has not been entirely cold-hearted, and bought a nice third-story apartment for Betty in Super-Llamaland. It remains to be seen how Betty will make it to the third story, but the gesture is appreciated.

24-year-old Reagan Harris, meanwhile, surprised Borack Andiam of Ceni to make the Round of 16, winning in straight sets to beat the Cenian. Harris was in top form the entire game and advances to face world #3 Aline Luiza Romao of Costa de Ouro, a matchup of some of the world's best female players. Harris is "daunted but confident" as she looks to the match against Romao, with the winner playing Sudiarsa or Yuliani of Rarungan.

In other news, an extremely pissed-off Peter Larry reportedly said: "I am furious! Hernandez better watch out as I am after him. To the next hosts, put me and him in a group. I will give him something to cry about-[censored]." Hernandez in retaliation sniped back today to LSL news: "Is the prick aware that when the eighteenth seed beats the fifteenth seed, it's not actually an upset?"

Hernandez used a dominant backhand to take commanding 6-2, 6-3 set wins and advance to the next round, where he'll face his toughest challenge yet: Al Montis de Surmar of Anditia, formerly the world's best player and now numero dos. The 27-year-old will need to step things up as he plays de Surmar, and the winner will advance to a quarterfinals meeting with Dustin Willinger or Amancio Raimundo Belo of Costa de Ouro.

Round 16 of Cenial Masters

At the Forth Round or Round of 16 Cenial Masters, only one Rarungan player that advance to the next round after Reihan Ahmadi was defeated by Ardil Navsal while two others Rarungan players has to faced each others. Meanwhile in double, Rarungan already doesn't have any team left.

Reihan Ahmadi met 5th seeded Ardil Navsal in Round 4 of Cenial Masters. Ahmadi begins with great confidence and able to outplayed Navsal to win the first set easily by 6-1. In the second set, Navsal rise up and show his class. Ahmadi manage to difficult him for sometimes but eventually Navsal grab the second set. 6-4 for Navsal. In the third set, both players play their best and didn't back up. Ahmadi able to forced a 5-5 deuce in the 10th games but he failed to forced tie-break in the 12th game after Navsal successfully takes the 11th game. By this result Navsal continue to Quarterfinal and will meet 4th seeded Ricardo Toli from Britonisea.

On the other hand, two Rarungan faced each other for one spot in the Quarterfinal. Former Rarungan first player, Ketut Sudiarsa and rising star Komang Ayu Yuliani. Although both players are from Rarungan but each player give their best performance in order to advance to the next round. In the first set, Sudiarsa lead at first but Yuliani able to equaled the game. Yuliani then cornered Sudiarsa and win the set. In the second set, another tight match occur. Yuliani lead fast at first but Sudiarsa able to catch up. She lead again by 5-4 but Sudiarsa could take the 10th game to produce a deuce. Yuliani grab the 11th game but her widen forehand makes she lost the 12th game. In the tie-break both player didn't back down. But eventually Yuliani win the tie-break with 7-5.

With the result, Komang Ayu Yuliani will play against 3rd seeded Aline Luiza Romao from Costa de Ouro. Yuliani also become the only non seeded player in the Quarterfinal of Cenial Masters. Hopefully she continue her performance and able to advance further.

Electrum Tennis Magazine - Doubles Tournament 1

Tiebreak woes for Samuel Gates and Greg Meares after a heartbreaking tiebreak

The Cenial Masters has been the first tournament of the ATP to utilise the super tie-break format for deciding doubles matches. It is unclear why the tournament directors have chosen these new rules as the new scoring system after sets are divided at one apiece -- with Gates and Meares lashing out at organisers for "cannibalizing doubles tennis" and "not giving the respect doubles tennis deserves." Although it is unclear whether or not this change will be permanent, there has been some confusion within the greater tennis community about this new system of handling match tiebreaks.

Some foreign sources worldwide have simply labelled the matches as simply ten games, but it is further from the truth. The final set is composed of only points, and the first to ten with a margin of two points will win the match. The rules are a little bit different than a normal third set with the order of service remaining the same, but the players within a pair can decide whether they should switch serving orders. Understandably, it is the hard hitting server which will normally play first. They serve for two points where it is handed on to the other side, where the exact same thing occurs.

Although Greg and Samuel have criticised the new changes, it has been considered by the Electrum Lawn Tennis Association as a viable way to get more people interested in doubles tennis. Current president of the ELTA, Sasha Guetan said that the ELTA was themselves interested in using this as a tiebreak in the doubles. She was quoted as saying, "this new innovative format of doubles play has the potential to increase more audience interest in watching the doubles side of things." Granted, this new tiebreak system means that the uncertainty of match times will be decreased as a result, making it more suitable for TV Broadcasting and more. The Hamilton International will be looking at the events of the Cenial Masters before deciding whether or not they will continue using the super tie-break. Nonetheless, rumours have been flying around that the Hamilton International might be using this new tiebreak for the introductory rounds, with the finals going the full length of three sets.

Meanwhile, during Greg and Samuel's post-match press conference, Rosa Levinsky and Sonya Gredello have fought a tough match against the team who beat the Cassington sisters, Romao and Delgado of Costa De Ouro 7-6 6-4. Ultimately it was their finesse and quick hands which got them over the line against the traditionally singles tennis team. Sonya Gredello has to be applauded for her cunning use of lobs, backhands and quick reflexes to score those easy points which proved decisive in the end. Rosa Levsinky's serving was at the highest percentage it has ever been, with her clocking at a 85% first serve rate.

They had nothing to say after their victory regarding the new tie-break system, with Sonya saying, "Look, at the end of the day, it's all about winning the points and winning the sets." The world number ones and top seeds will have a tough assignment to face, going against long time foes, the Britonish pair from Britonisea, Leo Garry and Elizabeth Quehall who managed to defeat countrymen Peter P Larry and Lacey Turner 7-5 5-7 [11-9] in a rough and tumble tiebreak.

BRITANNUAL NEWS INTERVIEW- PETER LARRY AND RICARDO TOLI with LANCE MANCE

interviewes by Austin Stefanuè

A (Austin)- Hello everybody, welcome to Britannual News interview. Here we have a delightful Ricardo Toli and a quite angry Peter P Larry. Also we have Lance Mance. How are you guys. As friends.
L (Lance)- we are okay. Hello TV people by the way. I am 9th seed.
P (Peter)- I got to calm down I am 17 seed I think. Worst I have ever been.
R (Ricardo Toli) - Hello.
A- Right let us go straight to Ricardo Toli. How do you feel about going to the quarter finals. Do you feel pressure?
[PETER SIGHED IN BACKGROUND]
R- I feel okay. Of course I would like to be the one who goes through to the semi finals but I am versing former number 1, Ardil. He hasn't had a great year this year because of an injury that I had in the past as I took a big tumble at The Britannual Open one year ago. Playing Lance I think, so I wish him luck. I feel a bit of pressure because I am the only Britonish in the singles tournament so. Yeah.
A- Yes and what about great doubles. You are doing well with Lance. What do you think?
R- Lance can answer this one.
L- Going well. Training is going well as well. I really enjoy working with Ricardo Toli.
A- Right, Peter you know what we are going to talk about right?
P- Yes. That name calling tennis cheeting brink of a man a-
L- Hernandez
P- Yes him
A- What has been going on. You called him names and he called you names including a pr***. What do you feel of him.
P- I can't believe we man hug at the net after the tennis match. Unbelievable. Did you guys show him when I swore I that why he called me that?
A- ummm no.
P- Right and then I would actually go for a Rosé with him but errr.
R- When I went to school in Super Llamaland (15 years old) I met Hernandez and we played together. That was a few years ago but he has changed. Good Luck to him in the future though but I need to have a conversation with him.
L- all the Britonish players bar Dunkun and Abi now dislikes Hernandez but now the White brothers, Willinger and others now hate the Britonish players so it is a circle and we need to sort it out with them.
A- How do you feel about the Olympics then Peter
P- Badminton is like tennis but shorter. So I will be fine.
A- we will see you then. Will we see you in Doportedas 2014?
P- No.
L- No
R- I do not thinks so.
A- Right so we have a few questions for Hernandez. Hopefully he will respond. Hernandez, how was your match against Peter?? What do you think of Peter ? What about the rest of the Brit players? Finally, would you go for a Rosé if Peter apologies?
P- I won't be apologising so...
A- Bye Britonisea be back tomorrow as we interview the girls and Dunkun.

One Last Standing

All Rarungan intentions coming to Komang Ayu Yuliani which is the only Rarungan players left in Cenial Masters. On Quarterfinal yesterday, Yuliani have to faced Aline Luiza Romao, the 3rd seeded player from Costa de Ouro. In the first set, Yuliani able to give Romao a difficult time. She takes the 9th game to closer the gap by 4-5. But her widen backhand failed her to give 5-5 deuce. Romao win the first set by 6-4. In the second set, Yuliani seems to be lost control and out of focused. She makes a lot of unforced error and easily beaten by Romao. Romao win the set 6-1 and make her advance to Semifinal. In Semifinal, Aline Luiza Romao will meet Al Montis de Surmar from Anditia.

Britannual News

It's the final countdown!

PLACE: Ceni.

"It's the final countdown" was the song that the Britonish men and women were singing the the giant screens in Doportedas as there is a Britonish semi-finalist in both doubles and Singles. This rarely happens to Britonisea and they were celebrating but when we asked some of the public if we are going to get a doubles-single finals they said "No, Elaine is too good" while some had faith in Leo Garry, Elizabeth Quehall and Ricardo Toli so it is a 50% split.

Ricardo Toli (BRI) 6 6
Ardil Navsal (CEN) 1 1

After a surprise exit for Ardil Navsal in the quarter finals, Ricardo Toli still can't believe he beat the former World Number one! He is absolutely thrilled. He said in a press conference the following: "Wow, I am doing very well. I am very happy. Ricardo Toli Happy! I hope that I will be number one by the end of the year and hopefully be crowned ATP 2014 World Champion" In the bookies, they said it is a 10% chance that Ricardo Toli will get that title yet Lance Mance and Ardil Navsal still first in Britonisea with 30% each. 15% goes to Elaine and Aline together while the rest goes to people like Leo Garry and Al Montis. Though Ardil was playing well, Ricardo Toli played better to beat the man 6-1, 6-1. Ricardo was sweating on the court. Ardil kept on rubbing his back, and the crowd roared on. Overall the match was great.

In the quarter finals in the doubles there was two Britonish teams and half got through to the semi-finals. No, Not Lance Mance and Ricardo Toli but Leo Garry and Elizabeth Quehall.

Sonya Gredello/Rosa Levinsky (ETM) 3 1
Leo Garry/Elizabeth Quehall (BRI) 6 6

"We weren't supposed to win" exclaimed Leo Garry. Sonya Gredello and Rosa Levinsky of Electrum, unfortunately got beaten by the young inexperienced pair in Britonisea. Leo Garry is more experienced than Elizabeth. Leo Garry got to World Number 25 is two tournaments. So he is a pro! But Elizabeth hasn't been to well. After winning against one of the best, The pair from Britonisea will play Hardy Arthur and Marcy Akerman from Gloriax. Though we have never heard from them, they have been playing like stars on the court. They got to the semi finals but can Britonisea hold in? Or are we going to be playing in 3rd place.

Elia Xal/Fia Xal (CEN) 6 7
Lance Mance/Ricardo Toli (BRI) 2 5

This was quite obvious. The Xal sisters are like bombs, dynamite. They are just too good! And there is nothing Britonisea cam do about it. It is sad, but life goes on. Ricardo Toli already has a win so Ricardo is content. Lance... Well he is Lance. I am looking forward to the match between the Xal's and the Kannaps as I think It will be fun!

Hernandez's Replies to Foreign Questions

Britonish Reporter: "Brendan Hernandez! How was your match against Peter?"
Brendan Hernandez: "It was pretty good. While Peter put up a great fight, I was able to stave him off and break out a few sets."

BR: "What do you think of Peter?"
BH: "To be fair, he's a good guy, dedicated and trustworthy and all that. But I don't understand his habit of thinking that all Llamaneans are complete pushovers. The issue's come up in the press as well. Whenever a Llamanean athlete is mentioned, the Brits just think they're going to (6-0, 6-0) us."

BR: "What about the rest of the Brit players?"
BH: "No comment."

BR: "Finally, would you go for a Rosé if Peter apologies?"
BH: "Heck no!"

BR: "...what?"
BH: "He doesn't need to buy me a Rosé, a sparkling wine or something is good enough for me."

BR: "Brendan Hernandez, folks! So long!"
