About Londonisea

Londonisea is a medium sized city with a population more than 1 million but less than 9 million. For the exact number of citizens, look on my factbook. It also says Al DE Londonisea is it's brother city and they are nearly connected. What happens in Al De happens in Londonisea basically. It is also a very close city (In terms of law) to The City of Boschke. Boschke is the Ice City.

Roleplay is sometimes really important on how the games (or tournament) pans out.

Sorry I don't know how to RP so I am doing small conversations
Small RPing part 1
Arab County's players where sightseeing in LondonIsia when suddenly Curtis started to get hungry and shouted
I AM HUNGRY LET'S GET SOME FOOD
The others where looking him strangely and just before Curtis could talk Nico answers
NO FOOD FOR THE MOMENT LET'S SEE IF THERE ARE HOT DOG VENDORS
Curtis thought of it while sneezing his nose and answered really fast
PLEASE LET'S GO TO THAT ONE RIGHT OVER THERE BEFORE THE BASIC LANDMARK

Small RPing part 2
Arab county's players on hotel resting before training. Dubo was watching commercials about the world Air Hockey Championships, the commercial had this exact words.
GO AND SEE THE WORLD AIR HOCKEY CHAMPIONSHIPS GO AND GET TICKETS NOW
Dubo was surprised he didn't know that Air Hockey was so famous and sais
GUYS COME OVER HERE THERE'S A COMMERCIAL ABOUT THE WORLD AIR HOCKEY CHAMPIONSHIPS
Giorbano ran faster than anyone and shouted
I KNOW IT ALREADY OVER 2.000.000.000 PEOPLE WILL WATCH US PLAYING
Suddenly the others came and Nico said quite simply toching his moustache
NOW LET'S GO TRAINING WE DON'T HAVE TIME CURTIS ALREADY GOT INTO THE LIMO AND SAT IN THE GREAT POSITION
End of Small RPing.
I am 16 years old ,I am Malay
Last place in group C in the Baptism of Fire.

OOC: If for some reason all the Athletes require both first names and surname, please alter 'Log Andpn' and 'Pebble Andpn' to 'A Log' and 'A Pebble' respectively. Thank you for your time. I'd also like to take this opportunity to state that my competitors are indeed just a log, a pebble, a mouse carcass and an unidentifiable gelatinous mass. The mass is potentially toxic but we're not quite sure. A handler will place each object neatly upon the table (as neatly as possible in the case of the mass) next to the paddle. Nothing will happen. Maybe the mouse may start leaking maggots and the mass start seeping into the goal mouth, but that's about it. For any services, the handler will 'encourage' our competitors to push the puck in the direction of its opponent then let the game take it's course. We look forward to a highly charged and exciting tournament.

Postby The Crum Islands » Thu Feb 27, 2014 8:05 am

The charter plane touched down in Britonisea a little past 6pm. The four Crum Island friends walked off the plane, excited about being off the islands for the first time in their lives.

“Hey Brah, where you think we can catch a taxi to Londonisea?” Kale said.

“Right there you idiot!” Kini replied as he pointed to the giant sign indicating Buses and Taxis.

These four guys were simple island boys, off on an adventure they looked to make the most of. When they heard on the radio about the Air Hockey Tournament, they knew it might be the only chance to travel and see the world. Playing air hockey at their towns Community Center never looked like something that would take them anywhere.

“You think they got pit pig here?” Akamu asked.

“Nah Brah, they don’t know about pit pig here” Kini told him.

The guys knew going to a new land wouldn’t have the same foods and customs they were used to. No delicious Pit Pig. No mouth-watering Crum Island Trout. But they had other things to focus on. Winning a tournament for “Fame and Sea”. The guys finally found a cab and all hopped in.

“Eh Brah, take us to Londnisea please!” said Kini. And off they wisked away into the sunset, ready for their adventure.

103.3 The RЦSH: Peregrin Diggle Show

DJ: You're listening to 103.333333 The RЦSH.

Chad: Hello and welcome back to the Peregrin Diggle show here on 103.3 The RUSH, I'm Chad back here in the studio with Dee and Hart. Here at the top of the hour we'll look at the results from Day One of the air hockey tournament over in Britonisea.

Dee: About what?

Chad: What I was talking about at break today.

Hart: Air hockey is a sport?

Chad: Yes. According to the world.

Hart: Interesting.

Chad: Yeah, so out of the four players we sent, two won.

Dee: How bad?

Hart: I'm sure it was by a landslide.

Chad: Matthew Alasdair lost by ten points, Reima Hietanen lost by seven.

Dee: Not bad.

Hart: Seems legit. Who'd they lose to?

Chad: Two guys from San Jose Guayabal.

Dee: Where's that?

Hart: San Jose Guayabal.

Dee: Smart-ass...

Chad: But the two guys who did win, well one of them, won by a good margin.

Dee: How much?

Chad: Archie Akkhurst won 31-19.

Hart: Against who.

Chad: Some guy from San Jose Guayabal.

Dee: What's his name?

Chad: Má Arse...

Dee: What the hell? -laughs-

Hart: Bet he got teased in middle school...

Chad: Yeah, but the other guy who won, someone named Karel Bílek, barely won. Held off Michael Spencer from San Jose Guayabal 28-25.

Hart: So in other words, we're half-good and half-bad.

Chad: Yes.

Dee: Figures. Anything that isn't gridiron, football, or hockey we can't or won't do jack diddly-shite in.

Chad: That's true. The coach of the national air hockey team said, and I quote, "I'm not the one throw a team under the bus or anything, but I think this entire team will be a bust. Air hockey is for the 60s..."

Hart: At least he admits he has no faith.

Dee: You actually need to coach in air hockey?

Hart: Apparently.

Chad: So that's all the time we have for the hour here on the Peregrin Diggle Show on 103.3 The RUSH. Join us tomorrow at noon TST for the next score update in the air hockey tournament. I'm Chad along with Dee and Hart in the studio and we'll see you guys later. Nighty-night.

DJ: You're listening to 103.333333 The RЦSH.

Oh noes! Our team lost apart from pebble. Yay! Go Pebble.

Here is a bit of information about Pebble (OOC: courtesy of Wikipedia)

A pebble is a clast of rock with a particle size of 2 to 64 millimetres based on the Krumbein phi scale of sedimentology. Pebbles are generally considered to be larger than granules (2 to 4 millimetres diameter) and smaller than cobbles (64 to 256 millimetres diameter). A rock made predominantly of pebbles is termed a conglomerate. Pebble tools are among the earliest known man-made artifacts, dating from the Palaeolithic period of human history.

A beach composed chiefly of surface pebbles is commonly termed a shingle beach. This type of beach has armoring characteristics with respect to wave erosion, as well as ecological niches which can provide habitat for animals and plants.

Pebbles come in various colors and textures, and can have streaks of quartz and different colored sedimentary rock. Pebbles are mostly smooth but, dependent on how frequently they come in contact with the sea, they can have marks of contact with other rocks or other pebbles. Pebbles left above the high water mark may have growths of organisms such as lichen on them, signifying the lack of contact with seawater.

Britannual News

Day one at The NS Air Hockey Tournament

Country: Britonisea

Britonisea, the host nation, has gone half, half this time as two of our players won the first round robin and 2 others lost. Britonisea's Max Whitherspoons (BRI) defeated CPN's Frellix Bjorn 25-24. This was a close match as there was only 60 seconds left and Max or Frellix had only on chance otherwise the game will go to deuce and advantage. When there was ten seconds left, Max scored a goal and in 10 seconds he needed for Frellix not to score. The time was over and Max got a good score. He has now got a higher percentage of winning. The second great match was right after Max's match. It was against Phillip Royale of Britonisea and Olandi Feern of CPN. Again it was a great match but when the scores was 10-4 to Phillip, it was quite obvious that Phillip will have a better outcome. And so he did. Phillip Royale (BRI) defeated Olandi feern (CPN) 29-20 to add on to his final total for Round Robin 5. Phillip came to the Britannual broadcasters and said "It was a tiring long match. Yes, it is 30 mins but it felt like a day". In the next round robin, he will be playing A pebble (DUH).

The bad matches start with Jessy Major. Jessy played Philli Scrazhi of CPN. Philli defeated Jessy Major 29-21. Jessy had it in the bad getting the first few points and then he was of track. Philli got mega points form Jessy and at the end got 8 points more than him. This is out of order! Jessy was mere crying when he says "I lost my first international match. I mean Max and Phillip (BRI) won just a few minutes ago, so why can't I?" It doesn't end there as only Britonish girl Mollie Inglesio was defeated by Giorbano Al-Minuk (ARN). Giorbano Al-Minuk (ARN) defeated Mollie Inglesio (BRI) 26-25. (D). This match went over time by about ten minutes going back to forth of deuce and advantage. Before, Mollie and Giorbano was quite close in points. They were never 3 points (or more) apart. This ended up in a 10 minute deuce and advantage rally. Finally Giorbano was on advantage and wacked that puck in the back of the goal. He won the deuce and advantage rally making his percentage higher. Although Mollie lost, she was happy for him and Mollie is ready to play Gene Handsyo from Koznia.

So, yesterday Britonisea has a 50% winning chance. Can we make that 66?

A Conversation between two maggots within the Mouse Carcass.

"There's been a statement from the organisers"
"Really? What about?"
"Did you not see? It was specifically addressed to the participants from Koznia and Niebo but maybe us too."
"How do you maybe address something to someone?"
"No idea."
"So what did it say?"
"Please can you make an effort with your RPs please or do not type anything. This does not count as an RP and if you have an proper RP then you could increase you chances of winning. If you do not know how to RP, check out the link or look at mine or Dei Terrare for examples. Thanks"
"I don't understand. I thought we came here to play air hockey. Not to type things."
"I know dude. Seems pretty out of character of the organisers"
"Also, what's an RP?"
"How should I know? I'm a maggot."
"Tru dat."
"Maybe we should find out if it'll increase our chances of winning."
"Good plan. How do we find out?"
"By looking at Dei Terrare's RP."
"Who's Dei Terrare?"
"I think they're one of the competitors."
"I thought it was a nation."
"Well, whatever or whoever it is. We need to look at it to discover how to improve our chances of winning."
"But what's an RP?"
"Oh yeah ... damn ... "
"It's a bit unfair really. How are we supposed to type something? We don't have fingers."
"I know. This competition is totally racist against maggots."

ARAB COUNTY ALMOST FLAWLESS?

Yes it's true after the almost flawless matchday 1 and flawless matchday 2 Arab County continues almost flawless with 7 wins and 1 loss it continues in fire.
Let's talk about the players.

Curtis Alexio Al-Buban: Curtis is the only one with loss in the Arab County's almost flawless results, but today he proved that he's a talent like other by winning Torisakia's Karel Bilek with the score of 38-32.
Curtis in the start was behind by 2 points, he turned the game into a 5-2 but Karel continued to playing very well and turned the score into a 10-11. After that Curtis started an amazingly flawless result and in the 15th minute the score was 17-13. Karel and Curtis started to become more competitive and in the 27th minute the score was 34-30, Curtis started scoring points like a boss and in 29th minute the score was 37-32. In the last 5 seconds Curtis did an almost unstoppable shot and scored the 38th point in which he won the match.

Dubo Al-Marek: Ok Dubo had the easiest match of his life by winning 38-06 Torisakia's Reima Hietanen. Dubo was excellent yesterday and in the 5th minute he was winning 6-1. Reima took his engines on and the score in the 9th minute was 7-6. But then Dubo socked all the people in the stadium and started scoring without even a threat in his area. In the 26th minute score was 30-6 and the 2.500 people there were cheering him.
Then Dubo payed more balanced but again flawless. In the end the match ended with 38-06.

The Cornup News Sports Correspondant rushes through the backstage area of the NS Air Hockey Tournament, shirt undone, jacket flying everywhere. He made it to the tournament, although two days late.

"Where the hell have you been?! Goddamn it man, the people of your nation have been clamouring to find out the latest sport and you've been laying in a hotel room, pleasuring yourself, watching dirty films!" screamed the network executive.

"What? I didn't know this boring thing was a sport!I thought it was just something people do when they get stoned."

"Whatever" replied the executive. "Just start making some broadcasts.

"Good evening folks, and welcome to the slightly delayed news coverage of the NS Air Hockey Tournament. Things have been shaping up lately, with a team of four relatively unknown superstars battling it out for Corn-y glory.
I shall now give you the latest rundown, which was written by a random member of the audience and just handed to me on the back of a cereal box so it sounds like I've been here the entire time."
"Day one saw Frellix Bjorn up against Max Witherspoon of BRI." He turns to his assistant Frellix...lost? I don't care about Frellix then! We want to tell the nation about winners! not losers! Who won?

"Apologies for the slight disruption. I shall now tell you about the glorious victories in the first two days." OOC: To save time - I'll RP losers on results after this...
"Philli Scrazhi of our proud Cornupication defeated the lowly BRI athlete, Jessy Major. It started out sketchy, with Jessy getting the first few points, but then Philli powered through and snatched a victory with eight points clear at 21-29. This defeat was humiliating for the opponent, who broke down in tears shortly after the final whistle."
"The other heroic victory came in the form of Shaun De'traxa. He was pitted against the athlete with a boring name, DSN citizen 'Boring Name'. However, the match was far from boring.
The lead yo-yod from player to player, each having the advantage several times, and it looked dead even. In actual fact, that's how it ended up at the 30 minute mark, on 45 dead even. The deuce play started and still there looked to be no deadlock, but after a record breaking three hour staredown with no points scored, Shaun broke the deadlock and emerged victorious."

"And now for day two. There was only one victory for us on the second day, in the shape of Olandi Feern. Feern came back after a day one defeat to win 32-26. All in all, CPN are doing better than expected. Please stay tuned for more news regarding this "wonderful" sport. This is Maxwell Southern, Sports Correspondent for CPN News."

Tomorrow will be a break. This will also finalize who will be playing who for the Round Robin 5. If you win the RR5, You will go to the quarter finals. The ten (quarter Finals) will then battle it off until there is five.. But there is a catch! The player with the lowest number (of the five players left) of goals in the past 5 days will be eliminated! Leaving 4. They will play the semis then the finals. Including 3rd place playoff. Good luck.
