The Allied States of New Edom would like to both join with their national team, the Diatrymas, and with a host bid.

City of Reme, Etruria Majora Protectorate, the Allied States of New Edom

Population:5 million people.

The capital of Etruria Majora is named for the noble ancestor Remus. It is a beautiful city from certain vantage points. Parts of it are noble domed churches, palaces, and the Great Arena where stock car races, sports events, concerts and other events take place. It is the site of the Curia where most government business for the protectorate is legislated, the Fields of Triumph where most of the parades and such take place, and of a large river docking area. It is the site of a large army barracks for the 2nd Etrurian Legion's 3rd Cohort and Armoured Cohort, as well as a Naval Air Station. There are many museums and concert halls in Reme as well. International and air force airports.

And to be honest, this bid told me nothing about a schedule, format, use of scorinator, etc. that would've qualified it as a proper bid. It would've been discarded.

Voting over! Time to find out who you, the Council, wish to have as their host of the 27th World Baseball Classic:

Maklohi Vai/Saintland - 9

Taeshan - 5

Reopen Bidding - 0

And there you have it, the first dual-hosted WBC since the 16th edition and it will be taken by Maklohi Vai and Saintland. Congratulations, good luck, and all the decisions are now in your hands.

Thank you to everyone who voted for us. We promise you that we'll give you a good one. Signups currently stand at 49. We aim for 54 at a minimum, but we're more inclined to have 56, 60, or even more participants if we see an influx of signups. We've been getting a fairly good flow of signups lately, so we won't set a time restriction on signups until we get to 54. Thanks again.

If needed, Backyard Sports can enter as a puppet, but I would put it first on the list of puppets to be withdrawn since I likely wouldn't be able to post more than a basic roster for it.
