About TSP Super 20 Rugby League

The TSP Super 20 is the premier sporting league in The Scout Promise. Founded as the Tri-Nations Rugby League by six clubs from three lands, it has expanded in recent years to include 20 sides from 12 nations. Super 20 plays rugby league, although several clubs also field separate union fifteens. Representatives of the league are invited to the RUCT Seasogs Championship notwithstanding the differences in customary code.

The original six clubs were Bountiful and Winterhaven from Green Jello Salad, Glomsteg and Pasgarmises from 84733842, and Bickerton and Hyde Park from SarahRed-n-BarryBlue. Clubs were later added from Skoltaro Kosma (Gagarin-Armstrong), Waltzing Matilda (Alice Springs and Woomera), New Deseret (New Zion and Zarahemla), Helam (Alma), Checkmate (Larsen and Polgar City), Vagar (Sørvágur), Ross Island (McMurdo and Scottville), St Murray (Hazlitt and Misesstadt), and Fort Mackinac (Fort Mackinac).

Historically the strongest clubs have been Pasgarmises (the defending champions), Bountiful, and both Waltzing Matilda clubs.

Woomera clinched their first title in style on the final day of the schedule, crushing runners-up Pasgarmises 36-6 at home. Both Sørvágur and Hyde Park missed chances to seal a top-four berth with final round losses, although when the dust settled Hyde Park topped the three-way tie for fourth.

Woomera (WTZ-Waltzing Matilda) and Pasgarmises (MAT-84733842) return to the RUCT Seasogs Championship, joined by first-time representatives Bountiful (GJS-Green Jello Salad) and Hyde Park (SRB-SarahRed-n-BarryBlue).

In all 3 seasons of the CRA, the premiership has been won by 3 different teams. Chahr Sun, Vonto, and Anging RFC are the 3 champions, and Vonto dissapointed by not directly qualifying for the Seasogs this time around, however the Sun were able to directly qualify for both the Seasogs and the Super 20.

Random Trivia:

This Season's Champion, Anging RFC, is the Only Club to have gained a qualification spot every season of the CRA.
Both Chahr Sun and Anging RFC are tied for the best club in terms of Premierships, both with a Gold and a Bronze.

Organization for Rugby in Elmonia- National Cup

The Success of the Elmonia Tigers in the CRA has prompted the Carmadin island nation to create its own Rugby League. The ORE will consist of 9 teams, and the best 2 teams will enter the Seasogs Championship.

The Season was fought hard, over 18 matchdays, but Colokimanwa was able to win 2 straight, and take the title, while RFC Romandine held off Emendepueplen and SKERFK in the final matchdays to take the final Seasogs Championship spot.

ORE National Cup Pld W D L PF PA PD Pts Honors

More Qualifiers....

The sun had shined upon these last quarter-finalists in the tournament, and the exciing stage of Cyborg Holland's winter rugby season. New Amzterdam Warriors had pulled off a good victory against Hague PPRC in the round of 16, winning 33-7 against the Royals. Their opposition, Alkmaar RFC, had gone through after extra-time thriller against CCRFC Gretik, with Martin Jenkisen scroing a last-minute drop goal. Paritzburg Vipers considered themselves the luckiest of the Quarter Finalists, drawing struggling division 2 side Rurnald RFC, who defeated fellow D2 side Rotterdam RFC 23-9. The Favourites for the Winter Tournament, the Rotterdam Apples, drew last years runners-up the President's XV, who had pulled in Dynamic Centre Julius van Herren from New Amzterdam. The Shock entry was recently promoted D1 side Drattenburg Harriers, who had overcome Northern Cape in the Ro16, winning 17-8.

New Amzterdam Warriors: 16
Alkmaar RFC: 3

Paritzburg Vipers: 27
Rurnald RFC: 0

Rotterdam Apples: 35

Soory it can't be more detailed, but I'm busy right now (Teams in bold are Seasogs Qualifiers)

1091 Tynealan Unification League

The Tynealan Unification League is the top level of rugby union competition in the Celtic Union of Tyneala (ie: Aels and Ancharmunn). As the only four professional rugby union clubs in Ancharmunn the provincial sides of Dyary, Machairster and Slievester along with the side representing the capital city Ballyfeeaknock will remain constants in the league. The two lowest placed Aelsh sides however are relegated to the Aelsh Rugby Union Premier League. At the top end of the table the top three clubs qualify for the championship playoffs, with the first placed team qualifying directly for the final and having home advantage for that match. The second placed team hosts the third placed team in the semi-final with the winner progressing to the final.

1091 Tynealan rugby league season

Whilst union is the preferred code of rugby in Aels, league is much more popular in Ancharmunn. This is reflected in twelve of the Tynealan Super League's teams being from Ancharmunn. The four Aels sides meanwhile represent the three counties and capital of that country. The Charmunnry preferance for league has played out in league standings and in ten seasons no Aelsh side has ever reached the playoffs contested between the top four teams in the league. Aelsh sides have however enjoyed some success in cup competition The Tynealan Rail Cup sees the 16 Tynealan professional clubs compete on a knock-out basis. An Aelsh club has competed in 6 of the 10 finals to have been contested, with both Dovershore (twice) and Hilshore having won the tournament. Army's three Tynealan Rail Cup wins along with their two Super League wins makes them the most successful club so far.

I'm not on the Greenwich Meridian so my time is a few seconds behind. Bear that in mind.

The West Zirconian Rugby Union Championship threw up a few surprises last time, notably debutant team Darrington's second-placed finish. Then again, this league has always been full of surprises.

To be truthful, it was another closely-fought competition. Even half-way through, with fifteen matches played, just eleven points separated Redwood (in first place) and Flockton Flavell (in fifteenth). Only St. Martin Bees were cast adrift of the others.

Just when it looked like Redwood would pull away from the chasing pack, they would falter and Oakley or Rothwell Trinity would draw closer. This continued until the very last match of the campaign. By this time, only the Bees' wooden spoon was decided, and again there were only ten points separating the other fifteen teams.

At the business end, however, three teams could still win the title - Redwood were one point ahead of Darrington, out to prove that last season was no fluke. A further point back were Stanley Park, although their points difference would have necessitated a large victory for them and a large defeat for Redwood in order for them to win.

Redwood seemed to have the easiest task, at home to St. Martin Bees. Stanley Park's home match with Buckby and Darrington's trip to Moorcroft - the latter still eyeing up global qualification - would surely have proved harder.

The final results were:

Moorcroft 10-13 Darrington
Redwood 24-19 St. Martin Bees
Stanley Park 13-10 Buckby

giving the title to Redwood. Darrington's remarkable progress continued with another second-place finish, while Snaith Marlins joined Stanley Park in facing up to the world's finest.

The nation of Aels has a three-tier professional rugby union system, made up of 18 teams. There are six Aelsh teams in each tier, although only tiers two and three — the ARU ChocoMilk Premier League and the ARU First League — are fully sanctioned by the Aels Rugby Union. The top flight, which also features four teams from Ancharmunn, is the Tynealan Unification League, and co-sanctioned by the Charmunnry union federation.

The top two teams in the Premier League are promoted to the Tynealan joint league, while the bottom team is relegated to the First League. Four points are awarded for a win and two for a draw, with one bonus point awarded for every match lost by 7 points or less. However, bonus points are not added to the final points total, and are only used in tiebreaking situations. Teams play each other four times. For this season, the tiebreakers have changed. Ties will now be broken by head-to-head results, followed by the number of bonus points, then points difference. This replaces the old system of head-to-head, win percentage, and points difference.

RFC Harling and Cowdenton Irish, relegated from the Unification League in 1090, replaced promoted teams Twigham Wasps and Cramlingdale Falcons. Harling swept through the Premier League, winning by a clear 10 points, and regaining their Unification League status. They will be joined in the top flight next season by Llanislwyn Firestone, while Cowdenton Irish suffered a second consecutive relegation at the bottom of the table. Goldcliff — 5th in the First League last year — improved to win the division title on the new second tiebreaker, bonus points, as they lost one more match by a margin of 7 points or less as compared to Woodfordton Stallions.

Results from the 1091 season (Tynealan calendar):

Rugby in Falconear is second only to Football, and there are in fact two conferences of sixteen teams that play a 30-game schedule. The top four of each conference face off for the four spots into the Seasogs championships and the Falconear Rugby Union Crown.

A few notes on procedure:
With 56 teams submitted from 14 leagues, including 10 from 3 leagues making their debut in the tournament, a preliminary round was required as well as a qualification round. With reigning champions Janwick Bloodhounds not winning their league, they were awarded a bye to the Group Stage, along with the winners of the eleven leagues that had previously submitted teams. The bottom three qualifiers from the debut leagues of TBI and Falconear were entered into the Preliminary Round, along with both qualifying teams from the other debut league of Elmonia. The four winners joined the other 36 teams in the Qualification Round, which was randomly drawn with no two teams from the same league allowed to play each other. This left 20 winners to join the 12 byes in the Group Stage. For the Group Stage, teams were seeded by rank, and then drawn, with no two teams from the same league permitted in the same group.

The draw for the Round of Sixteen was drawn randomly so every runner-up played a group winner, with no two teams from the same association permitted to play each other. The remaining rounds were drawn randomly.

Congratulations to New Sydney Waratahs, who become the fifth different winner of the RUCT Seasogs Championship in five editions, and once again it is the team that puts out the defending champions that claims the trophy at the end of the season. A word for the rounds leading up to the final this season though, as we saw two HUGE quarter finals, as domestic rivals played other not just in an all-Polarian tie, but in an all-CC tie as well. Not to mention the single point victory for NSW is the semis...

With five rounds to go in the fourth season of TSP Super 20, regular contenders Bountiful and Pasgarmises were scrapping with last season's near-miss Sørvágur and unheralded Fort Mackinac. All four squads were within one point. Defending champions Woomera stood ninth and would not make up enough ground.

At the end of the day three of these four sides would hold berths in the Seasogs championship, but the order would surprise. Sørvágur closed the calendar with five straight wins to finish three points clear and atone for the last-day failure of last season. Pasgarmises were knocked out of title contention in round 37 when doormats Hazlitt rose up to win 36-16 at home. But they held on for second place and their third Seasogs tournament. The final day had Bountiful traveling to Fort Mackinac with both squads tied for third and New Zion also on 46 points. Bountiful won 28-12, ending Fort Mackinac's chances, but lost the battle for third when the New Zion thirteen dominated mid-pack Scottville and slipped past Bountiful on differential.

So the RUCT Seasogs Championship nominees are Sørvágur (VAG/Vagar), Pasgarmises (MAT/84733842), New Zion (NDE/New Deseret), and Bountiful (GJS/Green Jello Salad). Pasgarmises are ranked 29th and Bountiful 53rd; Sørvágur and New Zion are unranked.

The only surprising team to make it to the postseason was Ymerodraeth, who finished tenth last year. Etraihain fell. In Cynhadledd 1, however, all four teams are the exact same, in different order.

Playoffs, of course, begin with the cross-over round to determine who goes to Seasogs.

Quarterfinals
Oyfer 23–0 Cynghreiriaid Yroiti
Dreigiau Aberaeron 19–6 Ymerodraeth
Aersan 22–18 Ynyswyr Tronka
Narahafsai 13–12 Visiharu

Absolutely zero upsets. Ymerodraeth wasn't able to crack the Dragons... Narahafsai did have to sweat out a win while defending champions Oyfer looked mighty.

Semifinals
Oyfer 9–10 Aersan
Narahafsai 21–13 Dreigiau Aberaeron

And then, just like that, Aersan upset Oyfer.

Third Place
Oyfer 12–13 Dreigiau Aberaeron

Dreigiau Aberaeron clinches 3rd place.

Championship
Aersan 10–25 Narahafsai

Narahafsai becomes the winner of the second season.

Falconear's Reps to Seasogs:
Narahafsai, Aersan, Dreigiau Aberaeron, Oyfer.

OOC: How many teams to Seasogs to new players get? I know I'm late to join, but consider this my season I results, and season II will be where I start submitting teams to Seasogs...

National Provincial Rugby Championships I

Rugby is one of the more traditional but obscure sports played in Michael VII where it receives a small following from a diehard fanbase often out in the wop-wops. All but super seded by football as the major sport here, rugby is the sport of the Schmejga and other peoples out in the rural centre of the country, far from the football towns that only exist in huge cities.

Organised from the elite teams in Division One, to the heartland teams in Division Three, all teams vie for the right to play in Division One, and win the trophy that shows rugby supremacy in Michael VII. Another trophy is the Lord's Shield, contested for as a challenge shield where all home games become challenge matches. At the beginning of the season, Frbiba held the shield.

Challenge Shield Matches
1. 17-11 v Plainshire
2. 8-14 v West Frbiba (Shield lost to West Frbiba)
3. 13-8 v Plainshire
4. 12-35 v Jagoza (Shield lost to Jagoza)
5. 0-0 v Plainshire (Shield retained for Jagoza)
6. 37-3 v Catsore Bay
7. 23-8 v Atlancia (Shield retained for offseason)
-Plainshire had 3 chances to win the Challenge Shield, however lost all of them. Jagoza keeps the shield for this year to go along with their runners-up finish in Division One play.
