2nd Scott Cup - RP/Results

Postby Delaclava » Fri Nov 20, 2009 2:49 pm

The Scott Cup is back! The Scott Cup is a tennis tournament held in the capital of Delaclava - Catherina. The tournament is held on wood courts in the Delaclava National Athletic Complex.

Each nation will send ONE male tennis player and ONE female tennis player. In each match, the males from each country will play a best-of-five match, and the females will play a best-of-three. There will then be a best-of-three mixed doubles match. Whichever country won 2 or more courts will win the match.

Scorination will occur at about 9:00 PM EST, using Liventia's tennis scorinator. The schedule is as follows:

Tues., Nov. 24 - Round Robin Day 1
Wed., Nov. 25 - Round Robin Day 2
Thurs., Nov 26 - Round Robin Day 3

From each of the four groups, the top two out of four teams will advance, and then be seeded.

Fri., Nov. 27 - Quarterfinals
Sat., Nov. 28 - Semifinals
Sun., Nov. 29 - Finals

RP's will be graded on several things: Understanding of tennis, absence of godmodding, adhering to a storyline of sports, spelling and grammar, and others. Please do not post RPs until signups have been closed.

This tournament is NOT associated with the NIFT.

So get signing up! No puppets for now. Also, please state the names of your players in your signup.

Updated to Las Guardianas. We're at 14 now, so 2 more and we can start.

I've noticed that Sibirsky, the defending champion, has yet to sign up. I think it'd be good to have the defending champion in the tournament, so if he signs up before the first match day, then the 16th signup will become the first reserve.

Kipswich Tennis Training Center

WHACK. TH-BUMP. WHACK. TH-BUMP. WHACK. TH-BUMP. The sound of the tennis ball making contact with the racket head, traveling at an incredible speed, hitting the other side of the court. Over and over. WHIRRR. WHACK. TH-BUMP. WHIRRRRRR. The ball machine had run out of "ammo". Harley Rawlings was done for the day. Harley, one of the best tennis players in Mount Kip would be participating in the 2nd Annual Scott Cup. He waved hi to Gina Fey, who was taking her turn on the court. They would both be representing Mount Kip's team.
