Can Costa Luna finish off the International Baseball Slam? Or will Shadowbourne prolong the win?

Shadowbourne 3
Costa Luna 6

Costa Luna wins series 3G-0p

Congrats to Costa Luna on their victory at the International Baseball Slam! Congrats also to runner-up Shadowbourne, third-place Sova Empire, and "third place" but really fourth place Llamaland Tigers!

It's all over! Thanks to all participants, especially RP'ers, for their dedication to the Slam! Thank you to Shadowbourne for the host bid even though the cable didn't work out!

The final RP Challenge is to write about your post-tournament reaction.

Thanks to all and we hope to see you at the next Slam!

The Royals win their first tournament ever (in all NS Sports). As of right now, Costa Luna is a perfect 1 for 1 in baseball tournaments. A big thanks to the hosts for the tournament. Costa Luna is looking forward to the next International Baseball Slam. However, before that, Costa Luna will enter the Olympics, the WBC, along with hosting a marathon event prior to that. If your nation would like to join the marathon, please follow the link, viewtopic.php?f=7&t=249467.

As for the International Baseball Slam Most Valuable Pitcher, Ramos Tomorrow wins the award with a 5-1 record and an ERA of 3.24. Tomorrow had 4 complete games, one of which was a no-hitter.

The Dairy Queen International Baseball Slam Man of the Tournament is LF, Charlie Why. Why hit safely in each of Costa Luna's games and batted an astounding .435 through the tournament.

The Royals will be back to defend their title.
