Hi.

I think the actual Quidditch World Cup happens once every four years. Could there be an option for 2017?

Indeed. It would sound way realistic!

I completely agree, one should try to make a competition as realistic as possible.

Well there is already a Quidditch World Cup on NS and the Quidditch United World Cup is a completely different tournament not associated with the Quidditch World Cup. If we wanted it to be like the real Quidditch World Cup then we would've just joined that crap they already have on here.

For the very start, pick better words. And also, you didn't really need to start a topic for something so trivial, that's when whoever is hosting this little tournament that you guys participate should step up and make a topic for discussion and other almost pointless stuff, so that the movement of the NS Sports section isn't taken away because of useless topics about said almost-non-sense tournament.

I tried to be civil, but in the end, I guess you won't take my opinion on how to not make a tournament drag like a zombie for 3 months like your predecessor's then.

Seeming as only two votes count we will have both. The QUWC 2013 II will become the Quidditch United Premier League and will play from July to November and the QUWC 2014 will be held in January. Im sorry for all the confusion this aused but some people need to learn when its their place to post and when its not.

Funny, last I checked every other major event on this forum didn't involve teams from real-life countries – as yours has done – and almost every other major event does not put a limit on who can comment in their discussion threads (though clearly the extent to which those voices are heard differ).

Considering a LOT of established and respected NS Sport forum users have made their voices heard, surely you should open your eyes and appreciate why people are getting fed up with your lot.

Yes; yes they do.

And this includes you.

NS Sports is for events between NS nations, not for events between RL nations - even where the sport in question is fictional.

If you want to run an event for RL nations, take it to the Portal to the Multiverse; it doesn't belong here.

I'm now going to lock all QUWC events that involve RL nations rather than NS nations.
