World Korfball Classic III (Discussion)

Welcome to the official signup thread of the World Korfball Classic, the world's only currently running korfball tournament! This will be the third edition of this competition. Last tournament, which was hosted by Vaugania, we saw the Feministvs Sanctvsterra team of Saintland take home the title. Who's going to go home victorious this time? It could be you!

We will be using a host bidding process once again. Anyone is welcome to place a bid, and all participating nations will be able to vote on who will host the tournament.

The time period for signups/host bids will most likely be relatively brief so that we can finish the tournament before the WC begins, however, I still hope to get up to 16 teams. Should we fall short of that figure, puppets will be admitted on a first come, first serve basis.

Any further questions can be asked below or by TG. With all that said, let's get the signups underway!

If necessary, I can confirm on my main account that this is a puppet of Saintland. I'd like to transfer the World Korfball Classic rankings, if there are any, over to this puppet.

No need to confirm the account.

I've decided not to implement a rankings system, given that here has really only been one WKC with widespread participation, and I'm not sure how many of those teams will be returning this time around.

If there ever is a point where rankings are used, I'll make sure that any points earned in the WKC II with Saintland will be transferred to Feministvs Sanctvsterra, although it isn't really something to worry about at this point.

When would this tournament be up?
Considering the nature of the sport, it would fit my nation perfectly and I'ld love to enlist but until Sunday, I'll be too occupied with hosting my own cycling tour.
