All signups so far have been accepted. This includes the signups from Darmen, Andossa Se Mitrin Vega, Beldonia, Cassadaigua, Subramani and Island of Sharks. If you have entered horses without style modifiers or less than 10 horses, you can still change your entry to add modifiers and/or additional horses. If you signup without modifiers, every horse's modifier will be set to 50. There are still, as of this post, 8 days and around 7 hours remaining until the end of signups.

Well, since the camels are out, we'll throw in some ponies instead.

Keep in mind, our nation is made up of loads of different creatures, so our jockeys will be pretty varied in terms of species. (More info here.)

ButterSky, jockeyed by Sara Smith (Human) - 10
RaindowSunshine, jockeyed by Iron Blitzkrieg III (Robot) - 55
Sparkling Twilight, jockeyed by Mr. Butterfluff (Camel) - 45
Buttercup RosePetal, jockeyed by Biogorgon (Alien) - 50
Cinnamon Velvet, jockeyed by Mr. Cuddlybutt (Camel) - 90

(All competitors are ponies, obviously.)

Zombicalypse, Water import and the new Cyborgzombiesoldiers who could wild magic, backed up by tanks and more tanks, the Cannons in Space...all that cut deep into the budget of Kriegiersien. And so only two competitors could be afforded, the best horse the 666th Company of the Devil Knights had to offer and an immigrated, int....sentient pony.

I hadn't thought about post positions, but that would probably be helpful for RPing, so I'll run the field through random.org before each of the prep races. Once we get to the Triple Crown races, I'll put the post positions up in advance.

Sounds good. It's just something that will help with the roleplay! (give an excuse why our favorite finished 15th) ;)

Since this scorinator isn't actually doing horse racing, could it be considered that after Margaret spits out her results and considers horses as "DNF", that in place of that, you just make up a time (that would of course be the slowest times)? The fact is, horses at this level of racing are rarely pulled up, usually that only happens in cheap maiden or cheap claiming races, not in graded stakes, unless there is an injury. If this scorinator is going to have 1-3 DNF's per race because it thinks its scorinating another sport, then I'm really of the state of mind for slow times to just be entered in place of a DNF.

What would others think?

Also: For others, 1 length= .2 seconds. If your horse finished .2 seconds ahead of the one before it, you beat it by one length. 1 second= 5 lengths.

Thanks for that. I know just enough about the sport to be dangerous. I have friends back home who raise and train thoroughbreds so I follow it, but that could be said to be casually at best.
