7:1. 7:1. 7:1?!!!

You could really think the system was crashed. 7:1? Coach Papa Bear was still shocked, sitting alone in his hotel room, drinking a scotch. Maybe he should order some company while the boys were out. A black beauty from Shadowbourne. 7:1. His handy was turned of, in case the president or sports minister would call. He had no nerve for that.

Only one goal scored by Kriegiersiens youngsters, which on top you could interpret as an own goal, but you may dispute that. He couldn't even read the match report standing in the Newspapers. So painful. He threw away the papers. The boys had gotten free, most of them crying of anger or disappointment anyway. And he didn't felt better. No cookies. 1:7 against Quebec? Yeah, sometimes you get unlucky and then the others have luck. But 7 goals? Well better then 9, but 7?

Terrell would get in as second Goalkeeper, after Noland had let slipped several shots. Albert, Marwin, Bob, River and Gerd out, after that performance. He couldn't substitute everyone, but hopefully the reserves would now show what they were capable of in the game against 95X. The last chance to reach the next round.

7:1.

Guiana In Grave Danger After Syndicate Swipe Victory

27th March 12013

Rockport, SHADOWBOURNE---- After an amazing win last matchday, the Syndicate have got back on the horse and reclaimed their winning streak, beating West Guiana 4-0 at Rockport Convention Center. Rhys West began a lightning streak and infact hit a hat-trick!

West Guiana kicked it off, playing a rather attacking game. Maybe they thought that because they won the last game, they can pull it off again? Well, we certainly proved them wrong, as within five minutes Rhys West punted a ball right past Sam Wins. I guess he lost! Defence was still on par with the best of West Guiana's strikers, and while many shots were played, they just couldn't retaliate in the first half. Spencer Fox also wanted a piece of the action, and scored a brilliant goal in the 27th minute.

The second half saw the Syndicate take a corner, and Rhys West really used his head to score another goal. This one really left the West Guianan team rather dejected, and I'm sure back at home various things were being thrown across that border fence in disgust. It was certainly true on the pitch, as Terry Scott was the subject of a lot of abuse from Guianan fans. Toilet roll was the main weapon of choice. This actually had the opposite affect then intended, as West finished off his hat-trick in anger in the 63rd. Play contiuned, and finally a goalless and upset West Guiana left the pitch upset.

This (I think, computer errors in the tournament mean I can't access the score tables) puts the Syndicate into joint first with our neighbours, something that they should be very scared about. I told you the defending champions were not going to go down without a fight, and this game has proved just how resilient and persevering the team truly is. Here's hoping they can pull off another win against Mangolana.

“Six down, four to go”, shouted the young forward Surai Rajan in joy.

“What are you talking about?”, asked his coach John. Beside him was Surai Rajan’s roommate, Ruby Singh, who scored the first goal in the last match against 95X through a free hit.

“My mother promised me that she will give me a grand gift, if I score 10 goals in this tournament. I have already scored 6. Just 4 more left”, said the smiling Surai Rajan. He scored a brilliant hat-trick in the last match, thereby taking his tally of number of goals to 6 (5 of them were scored against 95x in 2 games. He just seems to have a special liking to their defense).

Now the coach knows why his most talented player always wants to score all the goals by himself. May be he should start coaching the parents of his wards also to set them proper goals. He decided to make a call to Ms. Rajan, to slightly alter her promise to include assists also for reward, so that his star player would not only score goals himself, but also help him team mates score few. That would help his team play in the knock outs better, and speaking of which, the coach was damn sure this team would make it to the knock outs, considering how impressively they have been playing so far.

95X was blown out of the water yet again. Not sure if the coach down there is giving them ice cream win or lose, but from my viewpoint the kids are playing as if they have no team strategy whatsoever.
We knew going into this we're simply looking at the future from an objective perspective, so yes we'll be able to say at least one of the kids scored a goal. Unfortunately that game against Quebec was long decided and Galen Zoo was not only wide-open, but also got lucky.
At least three of them played goalie, after the first change it was obvious the coach (as well as the team) was drawing straws or something, let's face it these kids grow up watching volleyball not soccer. We could develop them more as players, but it'll be a losing effort if in the future we have to start recruiting camps with "this is a soccer ball."
And on the other thing: if Gateway wants out of the league, so let them and let's focus on our core markets and fans. We give them the title game (and send our best team to play as far away as possible at a field with oversized bleachers they call a stadium) and they give us a steaming bag of <censored>. They'll be back before long, and they know it.

Those dastardly Darmeni - Mark III
Daily column by Hararthau Igrisraebun on WC U-15

And we're back. After the Darmeni first ruining the tournament for us, then saving us, they did another 180 degree turn and now they've beaten us 2-0, all the while their head coach, players or even an association employee cannot be reached in press conferences, fancy dinners or via carrier pidgeon. No one knows their secret plans. Is it first humiliating the Greenblues, then making sure they get back at the tournament to give us hope, then crushing that hope, rinse and repeat (hopefully humiliating us in the final next time, I mean if that would mean we would actually reach the final...)?

In the other game, Mapletish beat the Sova Empire, which again means that Darmen and Mapletish are leading the group with a three-point lead over Ko-oren. The Sova Empire is still dead last with zero victories or draws out of four matches. Next round has Ko-oren vs. Mapletish and then there is a last game against the Sova Empire. Again, as with the first three matches, the remaining two games of this round are dubbed finals. Losing your first game (or fourth, for that matter, especially when there are three teams that are almost exactly the same) makes you trail the rest for the remainder of the round.

Other groups have seen some weird blowout wins. This ruins the fun for them a little bit, who knew it was very exciting and fun to be in a group where everyone can beat everyone (except if you're The Sova Empire, that is)?

Lions high run
A coverage by your Football Kaki: John Smiths

So the Lions beat The Sova Empire 0-2 to consolidate their lead up their group. Was it more of a fluke or what, mainly more on teamwork. The Young Lions mirrored their seniors in their playing style and was trained in the Leones Da Spectrum since they get selection from the national youth side. This group of boys 13-15 year old boys have a lot in them which was the desire to make it to the highest.

This could be felt greatly as the captain, Victor Santos announced that there would be no nonsense in the remaining two matches left to be played, one against Ko-oren and the other against Rushmori counterparts Darmen. I was pretty excited here and the game against TSE was just as comfortable as I thought as the Young Lions pushed their way out to ensure that they maintain superiority in the group.

So it was all that was set, Santos led by example as he helped the Young Lions leap past TSE with his outstanding performance. Together with Crist, both led the lines behind Fabio to ensure that the attack was as smooth as possible. This result leaves Mapletish in position for a strong finish in their group.

Against a timid TSE side, the Young Lions played with flair and energy, as supposed visitors to the TSE, they were able to get around TSE with the Crist, Santos and Fabio combination as their opponents look lost on the pitch with the attack superiority of the Lions.

The attacking triplet didn't let their technique went to waste as they tried their best in bringing what's best for their team. The Young Lions should have taken the lead after just six minutes when Crist played Fabio through on goal, but the striker woefully miskicked his shot off target as he looked to placed the ball in the corner.

Santos, however had no such problem a little while later as he netted in his 5th goal as the captain of the Mapletish U-15 national team. A milestone for him as he now has 15 goals to his name from his entire youth career in the Mapletish national team. The attacking midfielder drifted in between TSE's defenders and was perfeclty placed to head Crist's clipped pass into the net from eight yards.

The only frustration for Mapletish at the break was its failure to double its advantage, with Crist guilty of missing the best opportunity when he shot straight at the goal after again being played in 1-on-1 with the Hammers goalkeeper.

With less than five minutes after the restart, the second goal arrived, and in emphatic style. Crist played a delightful one-two with Fabio, who danced across the TSE penalty area and, after fooling three defenders by faking a shot, slammed the ball in to the bottom corner with his left foot.

The match sidled towards the Lions as they started to play with lesser pressure as their victory is sealed. The match ended in 2-0 in favour of Mapletish. In the next two clashes with Ko-oren and Darmen, the Young Lions will see their nerves tested to the limits as whoever proves to be more hungry for the top spot wins the pie.

Coach John was a happy man. His team has made it to the next round. With a goalless draw against Kriegiersien, they now have 9 points. Kriegiersien just have 5 points, and just a game left, they cannot catch up with his team. He was perfectly aware that a draw would be enough to qualify for the next round, and that’s exactly why he decided to “Park the Bus”. He knew the fans didn't like his approach and booed during the entire second half; he knew his forward and most talented player, Surai Rajan, who loves to score goals didn't like this approach; but he is not here to please his fans or his favorite players. He is here to help his team progress as much as possible, as he was ready to do anything within the rules to achieve it; Even if it means benching his star player Surai Rajan who has scored 6 goals so far in the tournament.

In the next match against Quebec, he could afford to give all his reserve players a chance, as the team will remain in the second position in the group, whatever is the result. His main aim now is to keep his start players fresh and raring for the knock out matches.

Two Wonderful Wins Send Syndicate To Round Of Sixteen

29th March 12013

Two fantastic wins against Schmiegelland and Mangolana, both 5-0, propel the Syndicate into the round of sixteen and hopefully give them a shot at victory once again. The games were both very tense, but at this halfway stage, I managed to get a few words with the team.
Joel McCardy: So guys, how do you think you've done so far?

Rhys West: Really good, yeah! I mean, even though Rob hasn't been here to see it, we've won nearly every game! And that game where we best West Guiana was totally awesome! Serves them right for not knowing how great we are!

JM: Well, that's a lot of confidence you have there. Didn't the DBC show you how competitive and skilled some of the teams out there are?

Katie Hall: Some of the teams at the DBC were rather scary, but we came 4th, so that has to be quite an achievement, right? Our games against Mangolana and Schmiegelland were also tricky, but in different ways. The energy the team had was different with the absence of some players, so I think we had to overcome that in order to do well!

Spencer Fox: And I would say we have! I'm always zipping about, scoring goals like it's anyone's business! YEAH!

JM: And how well do you think you're going to do against Darmen? They won their most recent game 11-0!

Rhys West: Oh my, did they actually? That's... That's a lot of goals. Who did they play?

JM: The Sova Empire.

Terry Scott: Didn't we beat them in the chess? They had their big administrator-like politician guy up there. Or did we tie? I can't remember... Even so, we'll beat Darmen. I've been training, and analysing their play. I think I can save any shots they put forward.

JM: Well, I'm sure you'll need to use all your skill when it comes to it. I think you'll all do fine. Best of luck!

"They did WHAT?!?!"

According to a report in TSE's capital city of New Bethlehem, a team of under-15 year old's snuck out of their households and were playing ON THE INTERNATIONAL STAGE. Executive Pastor and leader of TSE Greg Sova claims to have no knowledge of this.

"There was talk of possibly entering a team, but I don't believe I ever signed a team up."

When they were discovered, and taken into custody for suspicious activity, they were all interviewed and it appears that there was no coach at all. This was apparent in their scores. They went 0-0-6, only scored 1 goal, and let 20 by. Their last game was a humiliating loss to Darmen 0-11, the highest scoring match of the tournament. Their striker, who pleaded to go anonymous, was questioned about the team.

"I scored the only goal in a 1-2 loss in the first game of the season. Since this is a U-15 team, there wasn't much maturity in the team's ranks, and the lack of a coach killed our chances. Also, our goalie is a 6-year-old, so that is probably why we let so many goals go by. It's a miracle that we didn't have so many games like the last one."

Although they were arrested, no charges were brought up against them, and they were returned to their parents, who are just happy to see them again. It is unclear whether they will receive any punishment from their parents or not at this time.

“What an entertaining match!” thought Coach John Wring. His team played a thriller of a match to draw 4-4 with Group D toppers, Royal Kingdom of Quebec. What made the game more special for John was the fact that he was able to enjoy it without worrying about the result. His team was sure to finish in second spot and qualify for the knock out phases, irrespective of the result of this match, and this meant that he was able to enjoy the match without any tension. However, he knows his real work begins now. He has to prepare the team for the pre-quarter final match against Vettrera. Vettrera topped Group C, but the coach was not too worried about that. He was more worried that they have girls in their team. He was worried his main Goalie Dinesh Kumar would be distracted trying to impress the girls in the opponent’s team and thus be prone to mistakes. However he couldn’t bench him too, as his replacement in the last match Robben clearly showed he is not up to international standards by conceding 4 goals. Dinesh on the other hand has conceded only 3 goals so far in 5 matches he played.
__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Dinesh Kumar was a happy guy. He was having a picture of Nicole Ballison, girl’s captain of Vettrera in his hand. “She is so cute and charming”, thought the young goalie from Subramani. He wanted to do his best to impress her during the pre-quarter finals match.
__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

The twins of the team, Machi Srika and Anidhan Srika were also happy for different reason. They got to play their first match of the tournament, thanks to Coach giving a change to all reserves against Quebec, as the team had already qualified to the next round. Both of them did their best during the match scoring a goal each. What made them happier is that, both the goals were due to wonderful co-ordination between them. Anidhan scored the first goal just seconds before the half time, with the help of wonderful assist from Machi. This helped Subramani to reduce the lead to 1-2 while heading for the break. Just after the break, it was the turn of Machi to score a beautiful goal, this time with assist from Anidhan, thereby equaling the score.
__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Surai Rajan was happy that was he able to score 2 more goals in the last game thus taking his tally of number of goals in the tournament to 8. He was able to do it in spite of being in the field for only 8 minutes. Coach initially rested him for the match, but sensing the angriness in the face of Surai decided to give him a chance towards the end with his team trailing 2-4. He immediately responded scoring two wonderful goals with a solo effort. He was sure he would have won his team the match, if only the coach allowed him to play for more than 8 minutes. He was sure he would get a full game in all the knock out matches and he was sure to make it count.

The assistant coach wrote a report back to the Headquarter back in Quebec City:
From: Ho Weon Han, Assistant Coach, TRKQ U-15 Team
To: Mr. Mercutio Monty, the President of Football Association Quebec(FAQ)
Title: The overview of Quebecois performance on the group stage

The Royal Kingdom of Quebec Executioners have made it past the Group Stage, once again. On last Cup 2 years ago, they were at the same position: topping the Group in a domination. The team performed in what was an undefeated group stage, and were clearly one of the top teams in O-Line, with whopping 24 goals scored, which is 4 goals per game. However, at the same time, we faced much crisis in defensive zone and goaltending, allowing much goals and dangers in defense.

Zachary Fortin, hailed as the savior of the nation, is currently leading the tournament(or at least from what our database indicates) with 11 Goals. While his own skills are just marvelous, many of his goals and assists were only able to happen because of the fellow cast members: the Defenders and Midfielders. And Rene Bourassa is a very integral part of one.

While William Corriander served very well in his place, the spot left by Rene was too evident in the offence zone. Rene was the heart and soul of the team, often serving as the engine of this team. And at times, he served well in defensive duties, contributing significant amount of tackles and physical actions on the defense when needed.

Therefore, Rene Bourassa should be brought to Northcliffe immediately, so that he could play in the upcoming match against Filopines two nights from now.

Below this, here are the lists of goals scored by us during last 3 matches:

Quebecois Scorers in their previous 3 matches

1. William Corriander
2. Xavier Hertel(2)
3. Zachary Fortin(5)

Then, he sent a letter of good luck to Monsieur Dinesh Kumar for his loveologic venture that will happen on the day before Quebecois match against Filopines. That brought me back to what happened back in his college years. He was a physical education student and soccer player at University of Attawapiskat when he met his future wife, Jenna,an Arts student and another soccer player at rivaling Northwestern University. They met each other in a rivalry match between 2 universities for Women's Soccer.
He wanted the same to happen for him, with possible good things coming out of it.

Darmen Defeated Under Syndicatian Supremity

31st March 12013

Palmburg, SHADOWBOURNE---- No, this isn't a war report, unless football is how you resolve conflicts in the multiverse, but today the Syndicate's Youth Team beat Darmen in an impressive 4-1 victory. It really seemed that we were on the ball today, which was more than could be said for our World Cup team! The flow of this game was at a much greater level than previous games the Syndicate have been involved in, which was good, as these next few matches are really testing the best of the best.

Darmen kicked it off, and most of the play from the team seemed to be centred around our half of the pitch. The Darmeni team play and eclectic mix of attacking football, but do truly know when to defend if needs be. Unfortunately, the Syndicate started the game on the back foot, with Darmen scoring their first and only goal of the match in the 17th minute, as Lawrence Toller recieved a great cross from his team and really hit the target. Syndicatian resolve tightened the defence at this point, and managed to push the Darmeni back without a problem. This allowed Isaac Murray to push around the side, and 22 minutes in, he scored a goal. This tied the game up, and probably spurred Spencer Fox on to score another goal just 14 minutes after.

The second half shocked us even more, with Rhys West coming to meet his goal quote for the game. It seems that the move away from best friend Morgan has really honed his skills and allowed him to be more of an individual. I predict great things for Mr. West in the future, as twice in the game he managed to weave his way past the Darmeni defence, taking two very important goals that allowed us to clinch victory.

This game has just showed the world what a brilliant team the incumbent champions are. Here's hoping we can continue our spate of high skill against Mapletish. There are also many other high level teams in the Quarter Finals, including Equestrian States and Wight, who both fielded teams to the Di Bradini Cup, and both shattered our dreams there. Hopefully, this time, either we or someone else can make them know how it feels. Best of luck to the Syndicate!

This time, Head Coach Ji Choon Kim sent the match report to the Head of the FAQ. He wrote this in a very happy mood, grinning all over. They won again, and were now on Quarterfinals. This time, they are against Subramani, that very team which prevented them twice, from winning all their matches.

From: Ji Choon Kim, TRKQ U-15 Team
To: Mr. Mercutio Monty, the President of Football Association Quebec(FAQ)
Title: The Overview of Quebecois performance and outcome in the Round of 16 Match, Return of Rene Bourassa and the Goaltending Woes

The Executioners had a great match, winning 3-1 rout of Filopines just several hours prior. The match was dominated by us, whose style of bedroom soccer and firewagon soccer worked out so well. The ball possession, for example, was 68 to 32 percent on our favour, a clear indication of our supremacy on the field.
Rene Bourassa, as Ho Weon anticipated, was on steamrolling mode, bringing back the heart and grit into the team. Rene managed to score two in his anticipated return to the U-15 Executioners, driving the Quebecois contingent of the 70,000 crowd wild and cheerful. Zachary Fortin, in addition, scored his 12th goal in the tournament. He scored at least a goal in last 7 consecutive matches, and is expected to continue so.
The midfielders were divided into two, with Rene and William Corriander leading the offensive edge, while Xavier Hertel and Jong Gi Park was helping out on the defensive front. This provided more strength on both D and O Lines. D Line playued very well with their bedroom soccer style. It surely drove the opponents into boredom and in turn, gradual exhaustion. That, as well as players' defensive capabilities, are very satisfying.

The only downside was when Dakota Lavertu-Dumas, while trying to block enemy possession on the corner kick, allowed a goal into his own net. That was another downside of him: He tends to go loose over the last 10 minutes, after doing so well in the first 80 minutes. That already costed them from winning against MD6 match against Subramani, as well as the clean shutout on their Round of 16 match. Yet, It's not the greatest to bench him and replace with Shin Ho Park, who is obviously too young and inexperienced to battle against those Subramani bastards and their fire-packed offence.........

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

The team didn't celebrate this too much, however. They were too tired and busy watching a QHL game on the Cable TV. As it was a Saturday Night, Hockey Night in Quebec/La Soiree du Hockey was on and they, coming from a hockey-mad nation, watched Hockey Night in Canada. Unfortunately, the Television at Northcliffe only provided the match between Kingston Knights and Blainville-Boisbriand Armada, which largely pissed off some players from the Eastern Part of the country.
Nevertheless, they watched it. The game was rather fire-bursting and intense one. B-B Armada, well known for their throat-cutting defense and talented goaltender Etienne Park, are currently trailing 4-2 to the Kingston Knights. Kingston, with the stunning firepower from Jonas Bergstrom and Alexandre Rioux, managed to score 2 goals each, to give in lead. With the forwards constantly throwing dangerous shots, the Armada seemed to be shaken on both O and D lines.

Syndicate Smash Up Mapletish

Palmburg, SHADOWBOURNE---- The Syndicate carry on strong in the Under-15's World Championship, as they move on to the semi-finals after a fantastic 2-0 win against Mapletish.

The game started off rather well, actually, with the Syndicate picking up a very early goal, courtesy of Spencer Fox, that really caught Mapletish unaware. This didn't stop them from attempting to pounce back hard, though, as the first half was dominated by various free kicks, on target shots, and corners from the opposing team. It looked as if the Syndicate were on the ropes, but none of these shots actually made contact with the goal, due in part to luck and also to Terry Scott's amazing catching skills. Without him, we would have been out ages ago.

Of course, like some sort of play, Act 2 was the time for the Syndicate to shine. After being beaten about a bit by Mapletish in the first half, this time it was out turn to go on the attack, and with one goal already under our belt, it didn't matter too much if we couldn't pull it off. Luckily, we did, right towards the end of the game, after what seemed like an intense battle for ball control, Rhys West managed to wrangle the ball from the opposition, and punt it cleanly into the back of the net. The final whistle blew a collective sigh of relief for the Youth Team, as they had done enough to make their way to the semi-finals.

Of course, this win puts them up against the Equestrian States, a nation responsible for cutting down the Youth team's chances at a podium finish in the DBC. It seems that the Equestrian States always greet the Syndicate with a trap ready to be sprung, so hopefully this time we'll have the upper hand...

Postby Subramani » Mon Apr 01, 2013 8:24 am

Coach John Wring was packing his bags as they were heading to the airport. He was impressed with his team’s performance in the tournament even though they have lost in the quarter finals. He was sure this bunch of young guys with proper training and experience could actually turn out to make Subramani a respectable Soccer nation in the future. Meanwhile he decided to think about the knock out matches that Subramani played.

In the round of 16, Subramani did well to defeat Vettrera 2-0. In the 15th minute, Surai Rajan gave Subramani a lead as usual. This lad has been simply amazing in the tournament. After that, John was happy to ask his wards to play a more defensive game, trying to preserve the lead. In the second half, he even substituted Surai Rajan with a defender to increase the strength of defense. With just minutes to go before final whistle, Vettera decided to bring all 11 players including their goalie, trying to force an equalizer. However Dinesh Kumar did well to save all their efforts, and in the process he did impress Vettera’s girls captain as he wanted to. In the process, mid fielder Papa Abrijat who has also won gold medals in 200m dash in Interschool competition before turning his attention to soccer, was able to get the ball past every one, and kick the ball into an unguarded goal to put the final nail in the coffin for Vettera.

If the “Round of 16” match went exactly according to the plans of coach John, quarter final match against Quebec went exactly in the opposite direction as soon as the match stared. Within the first 20 minutes, Quebec scored twice putting the plans of John into disarray. Surai Rajan, scoring the 10th goal of the tournament was able to reduce the lead, but only for a short time, as they against conceded a goal within next 2 minutes. Only consolation for Subramani came in the final minutes, as they were awarded a controversial penalty, but that didn’t matter much as they were trailing 1-4 at that point of time. Subramani’s highly talented goalie decided to take the penalty and converted it to score Subrmani’s final goal of the tournament.

And thus came to end, Subrmani Under 15 teams campaign at their debut world cup.

Most of the teammates were celebrating at the lounge, after they won in a dramatic and dominating fashion on the quarterfinals against Subramani. After miserable draws against them on the group stage, they managed to win and progress. Everyone were happy, and some senior members of the team, finding some light alcoholic beverages and drinks, went on and drank some. By 21:30, Dakota Lavertu-Dumas was seen around dancing with a tourist girl from some foreign country, while Ross Woodward-Kim and Rene Bourassa were playing truth or dare with two Quebecois girls who came to Shadowbourne for watching the tournament. Littluns such as Keith Favreau, Xavier Hertel and Shin Ho Park enjoyed playing soccer in the 11th floor hallway, where they were playing some hallway soccer for fun. Coaches didn't do anything to stop them: They were too busy calling back Mr. Monty, write match reports or consume some bottles of tasty alcohol.

Meanwhile, Billy Carter and Adrian Van Zanten were on their own laptops at their suite, but not for gaming purposes. In fact, they didn't play Billy, 2 middle school friends in St.Xavier College, at a small army town of Petawawa, got bored in middle of last summer. Faced with very few money to buy, invest and use, they decided to invest in stocks. It all started with taking out the commerce textbook from Adrian's half-brother, William. Through that, as well as the supplementary material(a video called 'How to Invest in stocks successfully'), this dynamic duo learned how to invest in stocks. It all started with little, fledgling companies, then as they earned more money in exchange of selling these stocks in higher values, they went further. This was an addiction that they can't stop.

Right now, they checked their stock in Quebecom and Sun Life Financial, two of the nation's most financially stable and successful companies. The reason why they chose these were because of multiple factors. Quebecom, while facing challenge from other telecommunication companies such as Telus and many others, their increase in ventures around other areas of telecommunication and television only brought them even more revenues. Sun Life Financial, on the other hand, were already one of the World's largest insurance companies. Their focus on the multinational corporations and rich people has caused them to easily rake on money, which came in masses.
That's why they chose them, and so far, it was going well. Their stocks were on rise, to such extent that Billy and Adrian will get 40% more than when they purchased it. And now, they could spend it for what they want: Another stock, property, games, and et cetera. Or perhaps.... They could invest this in Petawawa Generals. Petawawa Generals is a LHI team, a minor league affiliate of Ottawa Senators. As there is no other professonal sports team in this boring military town of 50,000, they regularly draw crowds and many sellouts. If they could just find a way to purchase this team, then they could hold some influence and money in this small city called Petawawa.....

Equestrians Exaggerate Skill Against Syndicate

Northcliffe, SHADOWBOURNE---- Another win for the Syndicate, this time against Equestrian States, after a fantastic display of football that really proves to the world just how great the Syndicate are. The score by the end of the game, 2-0, may have made it look like a whitewash, but it was in fact a very tense game that may have pushed the youth team to it's limit.

The first half began with Spencer fox all over the place, bobbing and weaving around the ponies, but failing to get close to the goal. It was Rhys West that eventually pulled through, in the 19th minute, shooting a brilliant goal past shooting star and into the back of the net. The Ponies did get a chance to bite back, after Laura Bond tackled Orion Comet, but it seemed that their attempts at a goal were stopped by Terry Scott's signature blocking skills.

The second half contained more attempts at goal, all of which were stopped by the fantastic goalkeeping and defence of both teams. Blows were traded, and the game really seemed to play like the tides. The Ponies would make their way up the pitch, to be cut down by the Syndicate defence and have the ball fall towards the Ponies end of the pitch. This strategy did pay off in the final minutes of the match, when the proverbial tide came crashing on to the shore in the form of none other than Spencer Fox. Lean as a mean machine, he put a brilliant ball right into the back of the net, securing the win for the Syndicate, 2-0.

This win has put us right where we belong - the finals. The Royal Kingdom of Quebec demolished Wight in an impressive 4-1 victory (good, that's what they get for disappointing millions of Syndicatians way back when... Just kidding, we love ya really Wight), and will now face us in the finals. The Quebecois team are a force to be reckoned with, steamrolling their way through the competition. Hopefully, we will be the immovable object to their unstoppable force, and hopefully we will be able to lift the cup once again.
