Well, as Matthew said the score was technically better than last time. Though, to end up with a draw against a team already eliminated from advancing, it would be surprising if Rosko actually managed to advance. And even if it did, it's unlikely the team would get farther than that. The next opponent, Alkoul, is by far the best team in this tournament and the team has lost all its hope.

Fieldstone was happy, The team was still advancing, even though this game ended in a draw it could have resulted in a loss. And that would mean they would go home with no trophy. Back in the KOPB people were Euphoric about the team. Pastor's prayed that God would give them power throughout the rest of the Cup.

The team did amazingly good, which came as a surprise to the coach. The next match statistically implies a win, though underestimating the opponent is the last thing the team should be doing. They may very well pull out a win when we least expect it.

As predicted by Coach Apellinus, the match with Noorderkwartier was surprising. Despite having taken heavy losses in earlier matches of CCAF Cup, the Nooderkwartier team pulled it together, and gave the National Team a run for their money. The match was an exciting 3-3 draw. The Noorderkwartier team only barely missed scoring a fourth point in the last five minutes of the game, causing an uproar on both sides.

The National Team nevertheless handily qualified for the quarterfinals, and will have its first match against Alkoul. The team is hopeful of a win, but no one is willing to make a prediction. When the team played Alkoul earlier they ended in a draw, and Alkoul hasn't lost a match yet.

The National Team is moving on to the finals. Despite the recent takeover of the capital, and the ongoing national crisis, the team was contacted personally by Prince Quinctilius urging them to continue playing. He said he hoped the team would be able to provide hope and normality for the people. Coach Apellinus made the following announcement,

"We have decided to continue with the Finals match. We are dedicating the next match to Prince Quinctilius, and the legitimate state governments of Gennomia."
