The match between Maklohi Vai ended in a 0-0 draw, as both teams failed to capitalize on their opportunities. We had a chance at goal in the 7th, 18th, 21st and 47th minutes. All from Nello, but as the score suggests he missed them at the last second... So we have 4 points in the group play and we face the Free Swiss States. A win or tie will guarantee our spot in the Final 8.

0-0, that was the final score as Gaveo failed to score despite the fact Gaveo had the upper hand the whole match, but due to the heroics of the Stauralasi goalie, Gaveo only got a point. So now we face Kintratar, a team that beat us before can we win this time? We will find out soon.

"I do not know yet. The Gaveoan FA has not announced the fixtures for the quarter-finals yet. However, I think we'll probably play Estope, as they were second in Group C, and we were first in Group D. It would make sense for that to happen."

After the initial win over the first squad, we lost the other two matches, and are most likely knocked out of the competition.

Perhaps, the doubters are right. Perhaps we Dyurtenalis have no place in the world playing football.

But they cannot take away the love we have for the game. For the noble, beautiful game.

They cannot stop us from playing.

And they won't.

We Could Have A Chance of Winning!

Matchday 3 in Copa Gaveo, we won 1-0 with Maklohi Vai. We are currently 1st in our group, which citizens are celebrating through day and night. We all hope we stay up there. Some think we could actually win. If we do, this would be our first win in all the sports tournaments we have joined. According to statistics, the closest we've been to winning was in the 2nd World Badminton Championship, where we reached the Semifinals until Lymantatia had beat us. So, it's going to be a little difficult. But all we need is a little spirit.

Okay we faced Kintratar and won 4-1 (Goals from Sebastian Cadiz [3] and Santiago Rojas [1]), after that we faced Silexhera and won 2-0. So this game was a bit hard mainly due to a rough defense but Santiago Rojas and Cesar Milano scored 1 goal each to put Gaveo through the Semis or also known as the Elite 4. We face Lymantatia next which won 3-1 against the Free Swiss a very good team. Now we all know that this team will be the hardest team we could face and elimination is a possiblity and for that we must be ready to fight a team that has a good chance of wining. So go Gaveo and support our boys by getting tickets to the next game!

We're Going to the Semifinals!

Magnificent victory in Final 8, as we beat Estope 3-0. There has never been such a celebration through the country in all of Anollasia's sports history. Through the night, anollasians have been celebrating on the streets of Jefferton, Anollton, Mercuryville, Bayville, and New Istanbul. It was an easy match, with our offense and defense strong. Estope's offense was a little strong, but their defense was a little weaker. In the 30th minute, offense Kyle Ray scored from a distance of about 5 metres. Then we made another breathtaking goal in the 70th minute, by offense Burak Salih. And the last goal was made by offense Kyle Ray, once again, in the 89th minute.

The Final Match: A Struggle To Win!

We're heading to the finals after an excellent game in the semifinals, as we win 1-0 against Slembana. The slembanan defense was strong, but their offense; not so much. We were having difficulty with scoring goals, until the 75th minute, where offense Kyle Ray sneaked a goal in a freekick. Our predictions for the future? I hope we'll win, but it could be a little difficult, where we'll have a game with Gaveo. Those Gaveoans are a mighty bunch.
