For the moment, KABI cannot enter. But their officials continue to observe.

Why don't you observe from the inside...
In other words, sign up maybe?
It's worth the shot.

The difference between your perspectives is IC versus OOC. TBI believes that in IC, there is no reason for a newcomer to be entrusted with a world championship, and in RL, that's a valid reason too. You believe that, OOC, there's nothing to lose by attempting this tournament.
On an OOC point, you clearly make more sense, Shadowbourne. But because NS Sports is an IC forum, TBI has the stronger point. There is not a good IC reason for entrusting a world championship to someone who has never hosted a successful tournament.
That said, there is nothing preventing you from hosting. However, TBI, myself, and most experienced nations will not participate until there is IC proof that this deserves to be a world championship. An idea you might want to consider is to not call it a world championship. If it were to just be another tournament, you would get more support from the experienced sector.

"Korfball Kingdom of Phoenixia vs. Bloodbath Generation, first round of the international tournament in the Protectorate of Shadowbourne."
That's the advertisement from Channel 5 for the Monday Prime Time slot.
Nearly every reader including the redaction asked the same question 'what the hell is Korfball ?'
Not satisfied with this question we're went into the history of this strange sport with a second international tournament starting next week.
After a enormous amount of search we found the following.
Korfball is a sport developed in the Netherlands with his greatest popularity there and in Belgium. In the 100 year history of the sport it was mainly a school and college sport mainly because of the fact that male and female need to play together.
It's a combination of handball and basketball with no direct contacts and two baskets, one of each side. We also found a demonstration game from the Netherlands and even I as a enthusiastic soccer fan must say, this game has potential.
However when no one knows anything about this sport how could it be played ?
The reason for this is the coach of the new formed national korfball team, contending of ex Volleyball, Handball and Basketball cracks who are not good enough for the pro-leagues.
Coach Casper Jans and his staff from the Netherlands lead teams to 5 National Championships.
" I want to spread the Idea of Korfball into other countries." Was his simply comment when he was first ask why he accept this post.
Channel 5 achieved with the change in the program one thing, Korfball is more popular than ever in the Kingdom, even when most people doesn't know anything over this sport.

The as-yet-unnamed Lycrabon squad faces off against Free South Califas in the first two ever matches for the squad of men and women (as both play in this sport, for the uninitiated - essentially, all Lycrabonians. FSC is vaguely familiar to those who follow Lycrabon international sports, as the Califans are a newcomer to the World Baseball Classic. Match one will be Monday in Free South Califas, and the return match in Sharon on Wednesday. The prohibitive favorites in the tournament is The Babbage Islands, as they have a professional league there. The championship match or matches will be in approximately three weeks. More as the games progress, and those final games will be on LSPN 2, regardless of whether or not Lycrabon is participating.
