How often do the Cups cycle? Just curious whether there is a pattern so I can join the Cups more consistently.

First time and in seventh place, one point out of fifth? Not bad.

There is a pattern, they're about every three months. This includes the BoF and the World Cup itself, though, so most nations are just around for the qualification as long as they can't play in the BoF anymore, don't qualify for the WC, and don't get invited for the CoH.

The World Cup signup thread for World Cup 68 will go up once the first bid for BoF 55 or World Cup 68 is posted, which is usually about a week after the conclusion of the previous World Cup Cycle. We're looking at, probably, a mid to late-January conclusion to World Cup 67, with World Cup 68 qualifying beginning toward the middle to end of March (unless the hosts choose to push the schedule back).

Well I have posted my last RP for awhile will be away and unable to access the internet until the second play off day, I am hoping my cumulative RP and rank is enough to at least make to the playoffs. To those my nation is coming up against best of luck and to the rest of you; have a good christmas and I'll see you next year.
You know you've made it on NSG when you have a whole thread created around what you said.

Good tidings to all. While I should be doing this with the signups account, I'll save that trouble for a quick reminder on CoH and other voting stuff:

-We're roughly 26 hours away from Matchday Ten's RP cutoff. That will be the deadline for the posting of any additional Cup of Harmony hosting bids, with the plan being to start the vote sometime in the day following. Should there be a request for a (minor) delay by a prospective host, please TG me directly with that request.

-Additionally, having discussed it with PIS, I will also be running the Host Voting Restriction Amendment proposed by Equestrian States, which has received sufficient support for a vote. This will come to the floor with the CoH Host Vote. There is one other proposal currently in the pipeline - ASMV's proposed change to CoH hosting criteria - which requires one more nomination to be vote eligible, and will be taken up if it meets that number by the above deadline for the CoH bid posting. Additionally, should any other proposals wish to come forward at this time, you have roughly 26 hours to garner the needed nominations to also be put up for consideration at the same time.

A combination of an awful internet connection in Qatar, followed by Christmas activity once I was back in Dubai, have crippled my WC participation this tournament.

I might be able to muster some posts in coming days, but my apologies to nations drawn against both the Archregimancy and the Holy Empire for what's been my least active WC campaign since WC 46.

Edit:
And belated Christmas wishes to those of you celebrating (ICly schismastic ;) ) Christmas.

At what point do new members join the WCC? I have posted rosters for the last two World Cups, including this one. Am I eligible to vote on the Cup of Harmony host, or do I not join the WCC until next cycle?
