To my knowledge, we've always been able to have international incidents as part of our RP I've had a couple of cycles where the sports were only tangential, background stuff.

Yes, The Holy Empire and Arch are the same person. To my knowledge, every "puppet" signed up for this World Cup is the same person as their other nation.

This runs completely counter to precedent involving Archregimancy matches.

There are typically no visiting fans for Archregimancy away matches, injuries do not heal outside the Dreamed Realm in the "cartoon" manner described, and I would strongly advise you against trying the actions described above against the team or officials.

I don't mind a bit of violence in my RP interactions - Casari and Northern Bettia both immediately come to mind - but why you're both so bizarrely obsessed with causing serious physical harm to the Archregimancy's representatives escapes me.

I was only planning to use the "cartoon violence" for my away match (i.e. the one in the Dreamed Realm.) Like I said, I wasn't sure if injuries suffered outside the Dreamed Realm would heal as they do inside the Dreamed Realm. However, any attacks on Arch players or anyone else by my nation would happen inside the Dreamed Realm. Sorry for not making that clearer.

I was unaware that no Arch fans traveled to away matches, but I wasn't planning to involve them in Gregoryisgodistan anyway - even if they did want to travel, there is no way our country would let them in, given how flagrantly they oppose our state religion. I was mainly saying SJG/Alianza Albos should clarify whether such a thing would work, in case they want to do such a thing for their home match. Note the "assuming it doesn't violate Arch's RP permissions." I didn't check to see if it would, since I have no plans to do that, but I was saying that SJG/Alianza Albos should check it if he wants to do something like that. Evidently it wouldn't work. Thanks for clarifying, and sorry for the confusion.

1) Anyone who tries to cause harm to residents of the Archregimancy, or attempts violence in the Archregimancy is immediately transported back to their home reality. When I say "transported", you might as well read "teleported". The type of violence you're describing is point blank impossible. Outsiders cannot cause physical harm to residents of the Dreamed Realm unless A) they have the personal permission of those residents or B) they are associated with the Oneiromancer (see World Cup 48).

You can certainly try, but the minute you attempt to commit an act of violence, the individuals concerned will be removed.

The whole point behind the original creation of the Dreamed Realm in 2003 was to completely insulate my nations from outside attack.

2) I am also the Holy Empire/AIF; IC the Archregimancy is an autonomous territory of the Empire, and OOC - for bureaucratic reasons having their origin in WC25 - AIF is a puppet of the Archregimancy (despite being the older nation).

3) All residents of the Dreamed Realm control their own appearance, but as no one is going to lose a body part in the Dreamed Realm via your agency, it's something of a moot point.

4) Forthright and vigorous denunciations of the heretical monks of the Archregimancy by the followers of the mighty and puissant Church of Gregoryisgodistan are not only permitted but actively encouraged; there's a long tradition of IC anti-Archregimancy verbal/written attacks, and these will cause no offence or problems.

5) And you're within your rights to attack the Archregimancy delegation inside your own nation, as you see fit; it's only attacks against the Dreamed Realm itself which are not only impossible, but foolhardy in the extreme.

I would generally gently recommend to relatively new nations that they always consult directly with long-established nations about this sort of thing.

Honestly that was on my laptop that fried and I don't have it anymore, so probably not this go round as I have another angle working for now. It was an awesome idea and I'll probably try to get back to it at a later time if that's ok. But you don't have to reserve me anything for now
