Cass and ES have been around enough long enough to know this, but anyone who's hesitating to bid for a CoH because of this should know if a CoH host does their thing and doesn't respond to posts of that nature, they will go away on their own.

CoH related. If one were to re-post their WC roster in the Harmony Cup roster thread, with some slight alterations, would that be considered bad form?

I don't think so. My Free Republics roster for the CoH is just the World Cup roster, updated to reflect the lineup change that happened in qualifying, a slight change to the Notes section and the stadium information removed. That was previously my BoF roster and my DBC roster with that nation. I've also used the same roster for 2 World Cup cycles with my main nation, although I will be using the Olympics to introduce my future players and develop IC chemistry between them and my existing team.

This is perfectly fine, and I do the same thing myself with my team.

And as an aside....

Nations putting "Roster to be filled in later" on the CoH thread, have until 10pm Eastern USA team on Tuesday, 7/9, to actually add that roster in, or the invite will be nullified.

Congratulations to Penileanium, for finishing with an imperfect 0-0-18 record. Remarkable, how they went without a single draw or win, getting outscored almost 1:6.

... I was so pumped to see the group 10 results I actually forgot about Brenecia altogether.

Though admittedly hoping the Archregimancy to drop points against an RP-less ninth seed at home was a bit optimistic.

Though not wholly out of the question given I was unable to RP until matchday 14.

Still, I acknowledge your disappointment.

CH no longer does the WC so it wouldn't be him; I've taken a few breaks myself so I doubt it'd be me.

Good luck to everyone that passed!
That was surely fun. And fifth place for Horus, eh? We're getting stronger. 8)

Also, what is the schedule for the second part of the cup?
And when will the ranks be updated? (Not trying to sound impatient or anything.)

I wasn't sure when he started or when he went up to, but it sure felt like a long time. I think everyone else who started before me (in WC15), and hasn't taken a huge break in between now, is long gone.

Given that the WCC is reformatting the algebraic formula of 300 different nations over the course of, like, six world cups, I'd give them a little more time than 'a few hours'.

Was in response to Horusland asking when the rankings would be updated; I would've quoted, but I was the next post in line at time of writing, and couldn't be bothered to insert the quote when it turned out two people had gone before me while I was writing.

Oh I understood the context, but 'the WCC is reformatting the algebraic formula of 300 different nations' struck me with a kind of scientific whimsy.

I'm certainly not close, despite my other nation's early WC record.

Across both my nations, my participation record is 1-4, 7, 24-present.
