Michael VII: An Overview

Michael VII is a reasonably large nation located in the Realm of Alterra. We have a population of 47 million inhabitants, all of the human race. 80% of Michael VII are native Michaels however a large population of Meshkets (Meshkete) immigrate here quite freely, and in recent years our natural rival, the Osarian has found a nice place to live on our plains. M7's major geographic reference point is the Jagoza River, upon which the two largest cities Frbiba and Jagoza are located, Frbiba on the Eastern bank, and Jagoza on the West bank. Frbiba City also doubles as the Capital City of Michael VII and the seat of Government for Frbiba native and Chief Oligarch Michael Linehan. Michael VII's peoples are known as Michaels and are extremely proud people, where old allegiances are truly never forgotten and sports rivalries mean more than life or death. Our nation is one where patriotism is ingrained since birth as all 47 million Michaels sing along with vigour to the tune of the National Anthem. Despite the lovely surface features of Michael VII, including the geographical beauty and for the most part nice citizens, Michael VII shamefully boasts a bad record in Rich-Poor divide statistics as the Free Market reigns free. Most of the poor get along fine, however a lot of things go on in the shadier areas of Michael VII, especially out west where allegations of child labour and slavery are commonplace for those who live in poverty. However all those who come to our shores for WB 17 or the Baptism of Iron needn't worry about the bad, only about the good. But we do offer one word of advice, never yell out for Jagoza in Frbiba, and vice-versa lest you want to be hospitalised. Same goes for Mt Sinai and Westlake, best not to delve too deep into our rivalries aye?

Major Cities and Stadia

-Frbiba/Jagoza
The twin cities, holding 80% of our population, will serve as the major base of hosting in World Bowl 17 and Baptism of Iron 11. Frbiba is on the East Bank of the Jagoza, and Jagoza on the West Bank. The Jagoza River of course making the divide between the two cities, and their people who fiercely hate each other in all domestic sporting matchups. Frbiba is the Capital City of Michael VII, and also where Chief Oligarch Michael Linehan resides during his term as Head of State. Frbiba is also where the natives of Michael VII first settled, being considered the ancestral home to humans in the area. Jagoza, as the second largest city, is directly opposite Frbiba, and is the home to the first settlers into Michael VII, who found the West Bank more hospitable for a working river port. It is the central business capital of the nation, contrasting to Frbiba's political and cultural roots in Michael VII.

Naturally given the close geographic proximity, these two cities share fierce sporting rivalries, often able to end relationships and marriages following a FSU v Jagoza game. No matter what happens, a Frbiban will not support Jagoza, and a Jagozer will never support Frbiba, it doesn't work that way, and the choice of Alma Mater can truly affect your future life, or even death, here. Major Stadia here include the Phoenix Dome, host to the MFL's Frbiba Phoenix; Falcons Stadium, home to the West Frbiba Falcons of the MFL; Red Plains Stadium at Riverside, host to the Frbiba State Firebirds; West Bank Arena, host to the Jagoza Wildcats in the MFL; Groundhogs Field, home to the University of Jagoza Groundhogs; and University Field, where the Jagoza State Pirates play.

Enjoy your stay in the Twin Cities, our cultural and ancestral centres, but beware your colour choice. Red must stay on the East Bank, and Blue on the West Bank, or prepare for a riot. Even Green and Gold can get you in trouble anywhere apart from JSU campus. Best to stay neutral.

-New Schmejgland (Nova Schmejga)
New Schmejgland is a picturesque city on the lower banks of the Jagoza River, at the base of the mountains that feed its tributaries. The huge mountain range to the North of the city is a hit with tourists in the wintertime, and the riverside plains make for great city planning and beautiful countryside only minutes out from the town. New Schmejgland still is home to over 1,000,000 people, however, it is much smaller than either Frbiba or Jagoza, making it a great experience for those who want to see what Michael VII really is like in the heartland. Of course given its Alpine climate, it is a tourist capital, far from the commercial skyscrapers of Jagoza, or the theatres or government houses in Frbiba.

New Schmejgland is home to the New Schmejgland Saints of the MFL, and the University of New Schmejgland Devils of the MACS. The Saints' Heaven Dome will be hosting all matches played in New Schmejgland for the World Bowl.

-Atlancia
Far from the Jagoza River megalopolis in the Southeast, or the Winter wonderland in the Northeast, we come to the relatively secluded Southern Coast of Michael VII, where the shores of the Atlancian Sea meet the city of Atlancia. Atlancia is quite a small town for Michael VII standards, finding itself a long way away from the Twin Cities, and stuck in the centre of Michael VII's blue-collar state. The working class people of Atlancia may have quite crude humour and criticise the white-collar guys, but are otherwise dedicated fans and hospitable people, always ready to be found in the bar sharing a drink while reminiscing Atlancia's glory days in Football. So, most people won't drive here, instead the 1 hour plane ride is much more comfortable, but bring your surf board and fishing gear, as the Wild Coast is where its at when football isn't on, at the Atlancia City Stadium.

-Karoe
Welcome to the automotive capital of Michael VII. Bring your car ready for fixing up, and bring soap to clean the grease off of yourself, because Karoe can be quite a dirty place to be if found anywhere near our greasemonkeys. The Karoes aren't gonna like you though, if you're afraid of getting dirty, being a little less hospitable than the Atlancians, due to being stuck in the middle of the Desert near Western A&M University. And WAMU's failures are enough to make your average Karoe want to cry. So yet again, alcohol is the key to surviving here as the desert life cna be depressing, and the Aggies just won't win. But if you want to enjoy the football, Karoe will still be the place to go, because these guys go nuts for anything sporting related, especially when its called football, whether it be soccer, rugby or grid iron. Don't despair about being stuck here, because the suburbs at least provide relief from the centre-city car craze, making for some of Michael VII's best value-for-money shopping districts.

Blues Stadium will act as the stadium where all games to be played in Karoe will take place. It is the home of the MFA's (Soccer) Karoe Blues, but is easily turned into a football stadium seating 80,500 fans.

-Meshkete
Did you really think that you were going to Michael VII? Think again. Meshkete is still technically a part of Michael VII, although it is found on an island far south of Michael VII, so far south that it even has its own football team entered for this World Bowl. Meshkete can be quite cold, especially around this time of year, so bring a jacket to stay warm, and an umbrella for the rain, because spring forecasts are never good over here. Even the Meshkets don't like the weather, so most come over to Michael VII to live, but the ones who stay here love it, and are truly proud of their 'nation'. The locals will be noticeable for their extremely rugged appearance, although they are very friendly and approachable. Not so much of an alcohol issue here, but they'll definitely be found at the racetrack or in the many casinos in Meshkete City. Bring some money, and contribute to our economy please by losing it, and enjoy the games at Musketeer Dome!

Nation: Federal Republic of Allamunnic States
Official Nickname: The Regulars
Unofficial Nicknames: the Blue-and-Grey, Allamunnae

Head Coach: Ryan Smart (Age: 37)
Smart has reached a point in his career that only a handful of coaches can even dream of reaching: he's led his team to a World Championship, and now faces the unenviable task of keeping the team up to the very high standards that the Allamunnic people and the ASC have for the team's head coach and the team's level of success. Smart is primarily in charge of the team's offense, as well as recruiting, and while his skills in coordinating defense have improved, he has no reason to take over those duties from the current DC. And he's not even forty.

General Manager: Benjamin Jameson (Age: 55) – Jameson is a behind-the-scenes wizard who has managed to turn an underfunded and underperforming Allamunnic national side into a perennial championship contender, loading the team with talent, and retaining veterans and bringing in fresh blood in equal parts.

Special Teams Coordinator: Harvey O'Bannon (Age: 60) – O'Bannon has managed to do his job sufficiently that special teams gaffes and failures didn't doom the team to an early exit, and made them solid enough to let the defense and offense win the game for the team.

Offensive Coaching Staff
Offensive Coordinator: Leon Rodriksunn (Age: 45)
Rodriksunn is actually mostly a personnel manager; Smart tends to call the plays on offense, and after a championship effort, there's no reason to change a winning formula. Rodriksunn, as the official OC, is mostly responsible for getting the right personnel groupings to make Smart's play-calling and over all game-planning work.

Quarterbacks Coach: John McClelland (Age: 50) – Twenty years of experience in a domestic league that's rough on quarterbacks makes McClelland a good man to have coaching the team's new Regular under-center, to hopefully make the team a little less doomed if the running game gets stifled.

Running Backs Coach: Willy Zimmermann (Age: 55) – Zimmermann outdid himself last year, putting together probably the best stable of running backs that the team's ever had, consisting of World Bowl MVP Danyl Wyndhorst, versatile #2 Ryan Myers, and of course the team's long-standing one-two-punch of Myra Dercik and Ole Nurdsunn. As such, the running-backs coach returns to the same job from last year.

Receivers Coach: Zack Quinn (Age: 59) – Quinn is an old receiver who played in a domestic league that wasn’t exactly receiver friendly, and managed to do well in spite of that and in spite of being of more or less average talent. Given the young group of receivers he has, Quinn should have a tall order of guiding this group into maturity, even if he does have star veterans in Mikel Dunn and Willy Theodore on hand to help the passing game be effective.

Offensive Line Coach: Leon Rodriksunn (Age: 45) – Rodriksunn’s other job is as offensive line coach. This gives him probably the best understanding of the offense’s personnel; the offensive line is probably the most crucial part of the Allamunnic offense, which has functioned with stop-gap quarterbacks and solid running backs before, but never without a strong offensive line.

Defensive Coaching Staff:
Defensive Coordinator: Theo Dahlstadt (Age: 49)
Defense wins championships, and the Regulars are proof. And nobody is more responsible for that championship-winning defense than Theo Dahlstadt. Dahlstadt's work putting together one of the world's top units on defense has ensured that Smart largely leaves the running of the defense to his masterful hands.

Defensive Line Coach: Daniel Rickenbacher (Age: 47) – Rickenbacher served on the defensive line he now coaches for many years, and finished his twenty-year career with the national team. The knowledge he accumulated in that time, and his experiences on the field make him an excellent choice to help develop young players for one of the team’s best units. He also seems to have made developing rookie Ryan Walkerton a personal goal.

Linebackers Coach: Jethro Myers (Age: 42) – The general improvement in the linebacking corps is most-likely attributed to Myers' coaching; as a former Ironmongers linebacker, he knows his position as well as anyone, even if he wasn't the best at it, physically; if anything, that ensured that he learned the position all the better to compensate for a lack of innate talent.

Secondary Coach: Marissa DeMarke (Age: 49) – DeMarke has helped a secondary that has traditionally been the weak link in the Allamunnic defense become a strength of one of the best defensive units in the world; the secondary has become strong enough to force more turnovers than anyone can shake a stick at; the team's turnover ratio last year was close to 3:1, and that was in large part thanks to DeMarke's coaching.

Uniforms:
Image

Home Stadium:
Federal Steel Field, Thomasburg (Stalhamark)
Note: Because the Allamunnic national team is used to playing during inclement weather, and IC'ly the World Bowl is during the winter in the Federation, teams that play games at Federal Steel Field should assume as a matter of course that it will be snowing during the game. I'll try and put a "weather forecast" ahead of time so that they know, but a good assumption is that it will suck for teams used to warm weather.
Disregard, as all games are to be played in Michael VII

RP Info and Permissions:
Style Modifier: -4
Choose Scorers: I'd rather you didn't. If you do choose my scorers, if I RP within twenty-four hours, I may ask you to change my scorers. This is due to specific story-lines and characters I may want to emphasize.
Injure Players: You may injure my players; I'd prefer you not injure more than two or three in a game, and while the injury may end the player's involvement in that game, I will decide on any further inactivity for a player caused by injury.
Penalize Players: Any team considered to be a rival of the Allamunnic States (i.e. Qazox, Cassadaigua, Civil Citizenry), pretty much gets a pass to do this at will; those games may slip into 'dirty' territory. Anyone else may penalize, but should keep it realistic.
Godmod Injuries: Yes, but with same provisos as injuring players through normal means. I determine severity outside game-ending (for the player).
Godmod Other Events: Don't kill anyone or conflict with any of the above permissions. Also, if you're gonna do this, have some fun with it.
Photographs: Please do not use photographs with any players intended to depict players on my team.
Note: All players have stats of Age, Height, Weight, Tendencies, College, and Hometown provided, along with a brief description.
Additional Note: Blitz-heavy does not even begin to describe the Allamunnic defense; if you're outside of the Top Ten or not an Allamunnic rival, I'd appreciate it if you at least made a note of any success on the ground being difficult. Moreover, whether or not they're sacks, opposing QB's tend to get hit a lot. They might well be successful, but try to keep in mind that your QB (again, unless you're in the Top Ten or one of my rivals) will likely be getting smacked around a lot. (Credit where credit is due; Cassadaigua first put this sort of note in, and it seemed to be a good idea, so I've followed suit).
Team Captains (Coin-Toss Purposes):
Offense: Willy Theodore (WR)
Defense: Miles Ryan (MLB)
Special Teams: Wayne Scott (P)

Overview:
The defending champions return, and moreover the team is not much different from the squad that defeated German Zerabithea to win the Allamunnic States' first, long-overdue World Bowl Championship. Depending on who you ask, they may be favorites to repeat and win another championship, or they might be the favorites to choke and lose early again. However, the team seems as hungry as ever, and is backed by a public that won't be satisfied with just one championship.

Offense:
Style: Balanced Power-Oriented
Primary Front:Three-Wide, Single-Back
Overview:
Once again, the team is, in name at least, a balanced, flexible offense, and, once again, that's likely to go out the window the minute the team hits problems. The best way to describe the Allamunnic offense is with pretty much any word besides "flashy." The running game is, as always, Coach Smart's security blanket, and the team has been known to switch between anything from a standard pro-style offense to a triple-option style attack, depending on the weather. Moreover, with quarterback Leif Erikson's development, expect to see the passing game used a little more. However, as a whole, the offense is at its best when it can just take a few yards at a time and move down the field at its own pace.

Quarterbacks:

QB#9 Leif Erikson - Age: 21; H: 6'2"; W: 215lbs - Balanced - Innsbruck University - Muhlenburg, Ostrea - Erikson stepped up to relieve Daalhulm after he was injured last year, and has taken over full-time as the team's signal caller. He has all the throwing tangibles, and seems to be calm under pressure, especially in a pick-up-the-slack type of role for the team. That said, when called on to do so, he is more than capable of winning games for the team, even if his statistics don't look the best most of the time.

QB#12 – Zofya Hanriksun – Age: 26; H: 6’0”; W: 165lbs – Scrambler – Vienna Women’s Academy – St. Theodore, Ostrea – Zofya continues to be the back-up quarterback and a package player out of wildcat-style formations, or for when the team occasionally switches into an option-heavy style of attack. She doesn't have quite the power or accuracy of Erikson, but what she has is more than sufficient to get the job done.

Halfbacks

HB#27 Danyl Wyndhorst - Age: 20; H: 5'11"; W: 220lbs - Balanced - UT Copenhagen - Shieldsburg, Tyrrswatch - The World Bowl XVI MVP looks to follow up a spectacular rookie season with an even better second season. Wyndhorst demonstrated some great power-running tendencies, and was able to punch through front-sevens without much trouble; the man tends to break any arm-tackles, and even properly-executed tackles from a single player may not be enough to cut it. Combined with break-away speed, and you've arguably got one of the best running backs in the world today.

HB#24 Ryan Myers - Age: 21; H: 6'0"; W: 224lbs - Balanced - US Dunnmaar - Fahlsburg, Stalhamark - Though lacking Wyndhorst's power up the middle, if anything, Myers is even quicker on his feet; while he's got strength to be respectable when having to power up the middle, where he truly shines is in running off-tackle or to the outside, where his speed can be used to greatest impact. That said, both the #1 and #2 backs are excellent backs, and should be treated with caution no matter where or how they are utilized.

HB#29 – Myra Dercik – Age: 27; H: 5’5”; W: 146lbs – Speed – University of Kohlenburg – Meuse, Northwatch – University of Kohlenburg - Dercik is the fragile speedster among the halfbacks, with more emphasis on the latter than the former. Dercik is only good between the tackles so long as she gets good blocks from the offensive line. Running to the outside, or playing as a receiving halfback, though, is another story entirely. One of the fastest players in the offense, Dercik, if she gets free, is always a threat to take one to the house. Note that she and offensive guard Hanrik Wurfytur are married, and they seem to be especially on the same page; if Wurfytur is in, she's even more likely to find room to break a big run.

Fullbacks:

FB#44 – Ole Nurdsunn – Age: 27; H: 6’1”; W: 244lbs – Power – UT Copenhagen – Copenhagen, Tyrrswatch – A running back as powerful as Nurdsunn is not normal. Given his tendency to flatten linebackers and punch through defensive four-fronts, there's not many outside of the stronger linebackers and defensive linemen who have a good chance of taking him down unassisted. That said, Ole's not overly fast, and lacks much in the way of break-away capability. At most, expect him to gain twenty yards on a really good run, unless he rips off a flattening-spree, in which case he might go longer simply because there's nobody large enough that is still upright to bring him down. His love of hitting people has seen him moved to fullback this year, so most of his carries will be short-yardage downs, and his blocking load will increase, and he is quite fine with this.

FB#40 John Kaiser - Age: 25; H: 6'2"; W: 245lbs - Power - Northwatch State University - Meuse, Northwatch - The decision was made this year to use an actual fullback in offensive schemes this year to accomplish the job of lead-blocking and pass-protection when called upon. Expect Kaiser to get playing time if Nurdsunn goes down for some reason, or in goal-line sets, where Nurdsunn will be in at halfback.

Tight Ends:

TE#89 - Garrett Kelley - Age: 25; H: 6'4"; W: 245lbs - Balanced - Northwatch State University - Northwatch, Northwatch - Kelley showed he deserved the starting role last year, emerging as one of Leif Erikson's favorite and most reliable targets, especially in the redzone. A little more power-oriented than Hall or Theodore, Kelley turned out to be a safe target, even in crowded short-yardage situations. What he lacks in break-away capability, he more than makes up for with catching ability.

TE#88 – Zack Hall – Age: 29; H: 6’4”; W: 244lbs – Balanced - Grimmeburg State University - Grimmeburg, Piikslund - Hall resembles nothing so much as a slightly-less-talented Willy Theodore; Hall plays pretty much the same way, and acts more as an inside receiver than a classic tight-end. Hall will probably get some rotation time, but he's not about to become a major target or playmaker any time soon, in all likelihood.

Wide Receivers:

WR#85 – Willy Theodore – Age: 32; H: 6’5”; W: 235lbs – Balanced - St. Theodore Catholic College - Innsbruck, Ostrea - The coaches finally decided to treat Theodore as what he really is; a notable deep threat, a physical player, and a candidate to be any quarterback’s security blanket. He is a critical player in terms of his knack for making big plays and covering his responsibilities with care and thoroughness. Theodore has a tendency to rip would-be interceptions out of hapless cornerbacks’ hands, and for flattening defensive backs. Leave him single-covered at your own risk. Offensive Team Captain.

WR#4 – Mikel Dunn – Age: 34; H: 6’4”; W: 217lbs – Balanced – Thomasburg State University – Uniontown, Stalhamark – Thomasburg State University - If there’s one player that fits the stereotype of the big-play receiver, it’s Mikel Dunn, one of the most dangerous targets for any quarterback. Dunn’s got hands like magnets covered in glue, plenty of jumping ability, break-away speed, and enough size and strength to be a physical player. In other words, God help you if you underestimate a weapon like Dunn.

WR#87 – Izaak Rolle – Age: 24; H: 6’3”; W: 217lbs – Balanced - None - Vienna, Ostrea - Rolle has emerged as a truly dynamic threat at Erikson's disposal; to call Rolle anything else would be a gross underestimation of his talents, and the fact is that he's made some incredible plays for the team in the last few years, more than dispelling any doubts about his abilities.

WR#86 – Hael Fokkenmaar – Age: 23; H: 6’1”; W: 200lbs – Balanced – Innsbruck University – Udunsfurd, Skraelingia - Hael emerged as another dangerous receiving threat for the Regulars last year, giving Erikson plenty of options when throwing. Though likely the least-remarkable of the top four wide receivers, and forced back into a secondary role by the team's increased use of tight-end-sets, Fokkenmaar will likely be the most-used back-up and will be an important component of the offense.

WR#81 – Ryan Sherman - Age: 25; H: 6'0"; W: 185lbs - Speed - University of Copenhagen - Tyrrswatch, Tyrrswatch - Sherman is a new player brought in to add some depth to a receiver corps gutted by the team's pre-season incident. He's nothing special, but he's got some good speed to contribute, and should prove useful. Serves as a kick and punt returner.

WR#80 – Devin Smith – Age: 24; H: 6’4”; W: 215lbs – Balanced – US Thomasburg – Thomasburg, Stalhamark – Smith is a player who managed to sneak his way into the playing-rotation without anyone in the press noticing. Smith's posessed of some amazing speed, some notable size, and good hands, making him a solid option for the team's quarterbacks and a reliable target coming in relief of the first-stringers. Ignore at your own risk.

WR#11 – Erika Gaines – Age: 30; H: 6’0”; W: 174lbs – Speed – Waalturs University – Longburg, Piikslund – Waalturs University of Stalhamark - Having saved her career with the national team with a stand-out campaign two years ago and reliable numbers last year, Gaines returns as a #3 receiver and a proven weapon for the Regulars' offense. Gaines will rotate with the other wide receivers, or might occasionally play inside-receiver on slants and similar plays when her blazing speed is called for. Though she will drop some throws that other receivers might catch, it's generally not too egregious, and her ability to get open more than makes up for it.

Offensive Line:

LT#76 – Alexander Weimar - Age: 25; H: 6’5”; W: 323lbs – Balanced – UN Meuse - Meuse, Northwatch - Weimar is a strong left-tackle. He's got more experience in run-first systems, but he's a capable pass-protector as well. As always, no lineman starts for an entire game by himself; rotation is the norm.

LT#61 – Danyl Bloem - Age: 22; H: 6'5"; W: 320lbs - Balanced - US Thomasburg - Dunnmaar, Stalhamark - Bloem is another solid left-tackle, more than capable of starting himself. Bloem will rotate with Weimar to keep the line fresh.

LT#72 – Waaltur Stroenheim – Age: 33; H: 6’8”; W: 325lbs – Balanced – USk Thursfeld – Rumanika, Skraelingia – Stroenheim is the most experienced left-tackle the team has. He’s big, and he’s strong, and he will end you.

LT#70 – Carolus Hoenzorn – Age: 22; H: 6’3”; W: 310lbs – Balanced – Fredrick University – Fredrik, Tyrrswatch – Hoenzorn is a rookie out of Fredrick University who, compared to the other left tackles on the Allamunnic squad, is somewhat undersized. That said, he’s certainly not too small to do the job, and it’s left him with a scrappy underdog attitude.

LG#54 – Junn Lohr - Age: 23; H: 6'2"; W: 312lbs - Balanced - UT Copenhagen - Skarrsboro, Skraelingia - Lohr is a vicious blocker, which is good, because the guards are probably the two most important men on the line for the Allamunnic squad.

LG#68 – Eric Ridgeway - Age: 26; H: 6'3"; W: 314lbs - Balanced - Leif's Harbor College - Wilsonville, Skraelingia - Ridgeway lacks Lohr's anger-managment issues, which as a frequently-pulling guard on a team that prides itself on running the ball, is a little more of an issue than one might think.

LG#75 – Archie Erikson – Age: 32; H: 6’2”; W: 316lbs – Balanced – Leif’s Harbor College – Markenburg, Tyrrswatch – Erikson is the most experienced left guard available, and will open up some great running holes. Also, he will end you.

LG#60 – Leonard Kindbom – Age: 25; H: 6’2”; W: 316lbs – Balanced – UT Zagreb – Kristinburg, Tyrrswatch – Kindbom is a younger guard who will contribute to the third quarter.

C#73 – Durik Saenmikel - Age: 25; H: 6’4”; W: 320lbs – Balanced – USk Skarrsboro - Saen Maarkus, Skraelingia - Saenmikel plays with the same mentality as most Allamunnic guards, which means he's a nasty blocker, and tends to enjoy taking on nose-tackels one-on-one, a task he seems more than up to.

C#66 – Haanryk Suldurmunn - Age: 23; H: 6'2"; W: 314lbs - Balanced - USk Skarrsboro - Aaldurhaal, Skraelingia - Suldurmunn is a more than capable backup to Saenmikel, and is another blocker who enjoys hitting opponents maybe just a little too much.

C#67 – Theodur Suldurmunn – Age: 34; H: 6’1”; W: 308lbs – Balanced – UT Copenhagen – Saen Maarkus, Skraelingia – Suldurmunn is a long-time veteran of the Allamunnic national squad, and though he’s probably starting to near the end of his career, Suldurmunn is likely to continue to be a big-time contributor at center.

C#53 – Roderik Laansur – Age: 23; H: 6’0”; W: 302lbs – Balanced – Leif’s Harbor College – Vienna, Ostrea – Laansur is adding another bit of youth to the offensive line. Part of the fourth cohort, he’ll see his share of action, if not as much as some of the others.

RG#55 – Paul Erikson - Age: 25; H: 6’1”; W: 316lbs – Balanced - UT Copenhagen - Copenhagen, Tyrrswatch - Erikson is a firm believer that there are few things more enjoyable than what his old 'ball coach called "HMF"-ing. Or, for the unenlightened, "Hitting a Motherf---er." Never has a pulling guard been more dangerous.

RG#50 – Derrik Hael - Age: 22; H: 6'2"; W: 310lbs - Balanced - Leif's Harbor College - Saen Mikel, Skraelingia - Hael doesn't take quite the same glee in blindsiding people that Erikson does. Not that he doesn't enjoy it, but his main joy comes from stonewalling cocky defensive linemen, instead.

RG#63 – Hanrik Wurfytur – Age: 31; H: 6’2”; W: 318lbs – Balanced – US Dunnmaar – Skarrsboro, Skraelingia – Wurfytur is a very capable and very aggressive right guard who helped power the Allamunnic rushing attack in its earlier years. Wurfytur may be getting a little long in the tooth, but he’s still a powerful blocker, and all the more when Myra Dercik is in, when his blocks will become particularly violent and it will royally suck to up against him.

RG#56 – Ryan Grimm – Age: 22; H: 6’1”; W: 303lbs – Balanced – UO Vienna/St. Theodore – Tyrrswatch, Tyrrswatch – Grimm is a newer guard brought onto the team who will see time with the fourth cohort. Grimm’s smaller than average for the team’s offensive line, but makes up for it with an aggressive mentality.

RT#74 – Theodur Fokkenmaar – Age: 22; H: 6'3"; W: 314lbs – Balanced – Leif's Harbor College – Leif's Harbor, Ostrea – Fokkenmaar is a right tackle who's good at both pass protection and run blocking, and takes a great amount of satisfaction in doing both effectively.

RT#76 – John Grossman – Age: 24; H: 6'4"; W: 318lbs – Balanced – Thomasburg State University – Derrick, Piikslund – Grossman is a solid all-around player, but isn't at the same level of talent as some of the other tackles. He'll fill in in a pinch, and will help keep the others fresh, but don't expect him to do a whole lot beyond the basics of his job.

RT#71 – Gragur Stroenheim – Age: 33; H: 6’8”; W: 330lbs – Balanced – Bowler University – Rumanika, Skraelingia – Stroenheim is a big strong tackle, much like his brother on the other side of the line. Stroenheim brings valuable experience to the line, and will see action with the third cohort.

RT#52 – Vaalhulm Rikken – Age: 25; H: 6’6”; W: 324lbs – Balanced – Rumanika College – Kristinburg, Tyrrswatch – Rikken is another younger lineman brought on to gain some experience, and who will see action with the fourth cohort, playing every fourth game, at most.

Defense:
Style: Blitz-Heavy
Primary Front: 3-4 or 4-3. Either is likely.
Overview:
Defense wins championships. That statement is pretty much gospel to the Allamunnic gridiron squad. The offense may have improved in recent years, but the defense is still what makes this team so formidable; after the team's requisite fluke loss in the group stage last year, the team went nine games without allowing an offensive touchdown, and had a turnover ratio of around 3:1, with many games with an even better turnover ratio. If there's a better defense in the World Bowl right now, they have yet to show themselves. Worth note is Theo Dahlstadt's approach to play-calling; odds are, he's dialing up a blitz on a given down. The reasoning is simple; the Allamunnic squad has no shortage of great linemen and linebackers to rush the passer and meet the ball-carrier, and they have a secondary that's strong enough to give the front seven the freedom to simply go out and play.

Defensive Tackles:

DT#95 – Theodur Laansur – Age: 33; H: 6’8”; W: 324lbs – Balanced – Federal Army – Dunnmaar, Stalhamark – Theo is probably one of the best defensive linemen playing at the moment, and it's not just because he's large. Laansur is physically a large enough man that his heft isn't indicative of speed problems or abnormal health problems: he's just really big. He's no speedster, but Laansur is quick enough on his feet that he's a menace to inside-rushers, and can put some hurt on any quarterback who underestimates him. While his main role is as a run-stopper, as a line-anchor in the 3-4, he might well find playing time in pretty much every front.

DT#62 – Haanryk Faalks – Age: 25; H: 6’3”; W: 328lbs – Balanced – UT Copenhagen – Copenhagen, Tyrrswatch – Faalks turned out to be a useful defensive tackle, and has been moved up to help replace the retiring Leon Thornburger. Faalks lacks experience, but has some good explosiveness and has a knack for clogging up the line, while also having a good nose for passers and ball-carriers. There might be a couple of teething issues, but Faalks should give good service on the team for some time to come.

DT#94 – Danny Mallett – Age: 27; H: 6’5”; W: 330lbs – Balanced – UH Nocksburg – Vimesburg, Piikslund – Faalks’ partner in crime is Danny Mallett, who is nothing if not a capable tackle. Similarly inexperienced to Faalks, Mallet has seen a little more action, but is much more of a run-stopper than Faalks, even if he's not too shabby against the pass either. Mallett will likely team up with Faalks out of a 4-3 set, leaving Laansur to anchor the 3-4 fronts.

DT#90 – Gaarutt Jorgesun - Age: 23; H: 6’4”; W: 324lbs – Balanced – UT Zagreb - Copenhagen, Tyrrswatch - Jorgeson gave solid service as a rookie last year, giving the coaches even less to worry about where the future of the defense is concerned; the man is strong enough that he's actually capable of playing as a nose or standard defensive tackle, and might well see more playing time this year.

DT#92 – Jason Sounder - Age: 24; H: 6'4"; W: 310lbs - Rusher - Inneville, Fililund - Sounder is a more explosive D-tackle, who can cause some damage on the inside, or force double teams. Sounder is more likely to get action out of 4-3 fronts.

Defensive Ends:

DE#98 – Archie Wagner - Age: 30; H: 6’2”; W: 288lbs – Balanced – UO Vienna/St. Theodore - Vienna, Ostrea - A sharp contrast to Honorius Waalturs' quiet professionalism, Archie Wagner is an energetic, boistrous, and obviously intelligent player. Archie actually sometimes has too much energy; he won't sit still prior to a snap, instead shuffling and moving around to confuse offensive blocking schemes. He seems to be a rather smart player, or at least he has a strong grasp of psychology. Archie loves to get in O-linemen's grills, just to try to provoke them into stupid penalties, which seems to work rather well. Because he's not 'silent-but-deadly' like Waalturs, many people miss the fact that Wagner actually is almost as good.

DE#58 – Honorius Waalturs – Age: 30; H: 6’1”; W: 266lbs – Balanced – US Dunnmaar – Skarrsboro, Skraelingia – Waalturs is the marquee player on the defensive line for the team. Waalturs is very fast and strong, and tends to make most right tackles look like fools. As athletic as he is, it's no surprise that Waalturs is also very flexible, being usable as both a pass-rusher and an outside-run-stopper. He possesses an impressive work-ethic and is as civil and polite as they come on and off the field, which has a jarring dissonance with his tendency to slam people violently to the ground between the whistles.

DE#59 – Ryan Walkerton - Age: 21; H: 6’4”; W: 273lbs – Balanced – UT Copenhagen - Dunnmaar, Stalhamark - Walkerton gave good play as the third main defensive end in the Allamunnic defense, rotating with Wagner and Waalturs. He's proven to be a bit of a project, though, and defensive line coach Danny Rickenbacher seems to have made improving Walkerton's form a priority.

DE#91 – Dareus Bryant – Age: 29; H: 6’2”; W: 294lbs – Balanced – UP Derrick – Derrick, Piikslund – Bryant is a solid, all-around defensive end who can play the run or the pass solidly. He's still developing, so he's not getting a whole lot of playing time yet, but Bryant is talented, so he'll be a strong contributor once he starts living up to his potential.

DE#79 – Zack Steele – Age: 25; H: 6’2”; W: 293lbs – Balanced – UP Derrick – Fondor, Piikslund – Steele, despite being rather inexperienced, has picked up a lot from his short stint with the practice squad; he's been deemed good enough for the big show now, and so he's been placed into the rotation on the defensive line, one of the better such units in the world. Steele is still a pass-rusher first and foremost, but his run-stopping abilities have improved vastly in the year since WB13.

Outside Linebackers:

OLB#42 – Daniel Chessen - Age: 27; H: 6’2”; W: 251lbs – Balanced – US Rone - Leif's Harbor, Ostrea - Danny has proven himself a capable outside linebacker who can blitz hard to take down rushers, contribute to the pass-rush, or cover short routes during zone defense. Likely to be a major leader on defense.

OLB#41 – Danley Vicious - Age: 22; H: 6’2”; W: 253lbs – Blitzer – UO Vienna/St. Theodore - Grimmeburg, Piikslund - In his rookie year, Danley distinguished himself in college as someone more than worthy of his awesome last name. Danley is most-suited for attacking, moving forward to stop the run or contribute to the pass-rush, rather than working in coverage.

OLB#37 – Shawn Holmstrom - Age: 24; H: 6'2"; W: 251lbs - Balanced - UO Leif's Harbor - Shraedurpurt, Tyrrswatch - Holmstrom is another young linebacker who will be able to provide a stable, reliable presence in the event that the starters need to rotate in and out. He's still developing some, but shows plenty of signs that he's on his way to being as good as there is anywhere.

OLB#47 – Derrik Marks - Age: 23; H: 6'2"; W: 248lbs - Blitzer - US Dunnmaar - Rone, Stalhamark - Maarks is a strong blitzing linebacker, who is more than capable of adding a blistering quality to the pass-rush. His abilities are still developing, and he's mostly going to be a package and rotating player, rather than a starter, for now.

Inside Linebackers:

ILB#43 – Miles Ryan – Age: 32; H: 6’0”; W: 254lbs – Balanced – University of Copenhagen – Copenhagen, Tyrrswatch – Ryan led a defense that crashed, tackled, and made all the right plays en-route to helping the Allamunnic squad win a national championship. The spine-breaking defense has been one of relatively few constants on the Allamunnic squad, and as long as the intelligent and athletic Ryan is that squad's field-general, that's extremely unlikely to change. Defensive Captain.

ILB#45 – Steven Lindburgh - Age: 22; H: 6'3"; W: 251lbs - Balanced - UO Innsbruck - Andersburg, Stalhamark - Lindburgh helped lead arguably the best defensive unit in the world last year, and he returns in the destructive one-two-punch combination with Miles Ryan to lead the defense from the inside linebacking position.

ILB#48 – Leopyld Udunsunn - Age: 29; H: 6’1”; W: 250lbs – Balanced – Kristinburg Technical School - Kristinburg, Tyrrswatch - Udunsunn lacks the talent of the two inside-linebacking starters, but he's more than sufficient to take over in a pinch, and frankly, saying that someone is only a little less talented than Miles Ryan or Steven Lindburgh is like saying the third-most-dangerous bomb.

ILB#46 – Izaak Hand – Age: 25; H: 6'1"; W: 248lbs – Coverage – UN Northwatch – Northwatch, Northwatch – Hand is, first and foremost, a field-general style linebacker. His main strength is in covering the middle, but he's still quite capable of carrying out other inside linebackers' responsibilities, including pass rushing and stopping the run, and is smart enough to make the right audibles to keep the defense functioning if called upon.

Cornerbacks:

CB#1 – Isabelle Marquette - Age: 25; H: 5’6”; W: 140lbs – Balanced – US Rone - Inneville, Fililund - Marquette's development over the last few years has seen her become the team's more exciting star cornerback. She has enough speed to hang with the fastest of the receivers, has a nose for the ball, and has the hands of a receiver, which makes throwing in her direction a dangerous prospect.

CB#23 – Andrik Ierunmungur – Age: 32; H: 6’3”; W: 215lbs – Balanced – Thomasburg State University – Daalfuurge, Stalhamark – Ierunmungur is probably the most experienced play-making corner available to the team; he’s very fast, and has a knack for placing himself between the ball and the intended receiver. He also returns kicks and sometimes punts.

CB#13 – Julius Harkness – Age: 26; H: 5’10”; W: 199lbs – Balanced – University of Copenhagen – Vimesburg, Piikslund – Harkness is a first-year cornerback with the team who arrived late to camp, and so missed the whole ordeal and gets to start as a result. Harkness is a corner with a strong skill-set and is a strong tackler. While he probably won't force as many turnovers as Belle, he'll probably get a few here and there, and will shut down number-two receivers without too much problem.

CB#17 – John Tanner – Age: 23; H: 6'1"; W: 201lbs – Balanced – UO Vienna/St. Theodore – Leif's Harbor, Ostrea – Tanner is a solid all-around corner who should rotate in and out without slowing down the defense, and should be able to make a play here and there of his own.

CB#26 – Vitomir Danacek – Age: 29; H: 6’2”; W: 221lbs – Balanced – USk Udunsfurd – Thurrsfeld, Skraelingia – Danacek is another solid corner who puts in good work in the secondary, even if he’s fairly unremarkable.

CB#23 – Erica Shoenburg – Age: 22; H: 5'7"; W: 141lbs – Speed – UN Kohlenburg – Filia, Fililund – Shoenburg is a mostly speed-geared corner. She's not as physical, but is great at placing herself between the ball and the receiver. She's not too consistant about coming down with it, but she does a great job of making sure the receiver doesn't get it, either. Serves as a kick and punt returner.

Safeties:

FS#49 – Markus Josephus – Age: 31; H: 6’2”; W: 222lbs – Balanced – US Thomasburg – St. Theodore, Ostrea – Josephus is a play-making free safety who can play like a strong-safety when necessary. It is this versatility that makes the Allamunnic secondary dangerous; both safeties are multitalented and can hurt offenses in coverage and on the attack. Allowing Josephus to work with Mourner is murder for most offenses.

FS#25 – Erik Dahlhorst – Age: 22; H: 6'1"; W: 210lbs – Balanced – Thomasburg State University – Copenhagen, Tyrrswatch – Dahlhorst proved last year to be a capable back-up, and likely eventual replacement for Josephus, and has taken over as the #2 free safety.

FS#22 – Leif Coelmunn – Age: 25; H: 6’0”; W: 231lbs – Coverage – Skarrsboro University – Rumanika, Skraelingia – Coelmunn is a solid all-around safety who is at his best when playing a responsibility. He can shut down receivers or sections of the field competently, leaving his defensive backfield partner, Mourner, the freedom to make the really big plays.

SS#10 – Elias Mourner – Age: 37; H: 6’2”; W: 228lbs – Balanced – Shraedurpurt University – Westpass, Stalhamark – It is entirely arguable that Mourner is one of the most under-rated safeties in international gridiron. This is largely because he doesn't get the opportunity to make many plays because he's on a team with a bunch of other playmakers. Mourner excels at coverage, but work on the blitz has improved his contributions in that area, and he makes for a solid last-ditch tackler against a loose running-back.

SS#21 – Jarrett Jackson – Age: 22; H: 6’1”; W: 211lbs – Balanced – Bowler University – Tripoli, Southport – Jackson is another young safety who will likely develop into a major force for the team in a few years, when Mourner is eventually forced to retire. Until then, he will be a very capable backup.

SS#12 - Liam Swonder – Age: 24; H: 6'0"; W: 205lbs – Balanced – University of Thomasburg – Mobilston, Piikslund – Swonder is a back-up. That much is readily apparent.

Special Teams:

K#7 - Justin Connors - Age: 24; H: 6'0"; Weight: 192lbs - Place-Kicker - St. Mary's University - Connors is the place-kicker with the unenviable task of replacing long-time kicker Phillipa Demirici. Connors looks to be a solid kicker, but there's no way to be sure until the playing starts.

P#4 – Wayne Scott – Age: 22; H: 6'0"; W: 200lbs – Punter – Leif's Harbor College – Vimesburg, Piikslund – Wayne is an extremely competent punter, skilled at getting the "Crazy Corner" (as it's known among Allamunnic punters) and averaging 48 yards-per-punt in college. Special Teams Captain.

P/K#2 – Scott Ayres – Age: 32; H: 5’11”; W: 188lbs – Punter – Filia College – Inneville, Fililund – Ayres is a reserve punter and kicker, who can fill in for Demirici or Scott if either of them should be injured.

LS#19 – Graham Long – Age: 28; H: 5’11”; W: 234lbs – Longsnapping – Greensford College – Naakstbaen, Ostlund – Long is a good, consistant long-snapper. Not much else to say.

LS#51 – Stephen Snaps – Age: 23; H: 6'1"; W: 203lbs – Long-Snapper – Leif's Harbor College – Dreichium, Dreichium – He's a long-snapper. There's not a whole lot to tell; he's consistant and accurate. What more is there?

Yesopalitha Flames National Gridiron Football Team

Home Stadium: The Sacred Heart, Freedom's Altar, Yesopalitha

Name Position Race Age Weight Height Sex
Jack Chelak Head Coach Human 34 200 6' M
Nick Willenhem Assistant Coach Human 28 195 5'11" M
Victoria Wells Offensive Coordinator Human 23 140 5'6" F
Nau'kai Vanx Defensive Coordinator Vampire 20 166 5'8" M
Myki Wrotten Special Teams Coordinator Elf 125 160 5'9" F
Yansai Tims Team Physician Treefolk 30 150 5'3" M

Jack Chelak is at the helm of this ambitious Flames team, assisted by Nick Willenheim. Victoria Wells has proven that a woman can call some pretty amazing plays, while Nau'kai Vanx's unorthodox blitz packages torment all opposing offenses. with Nick Wrotten devising converage units and Tims watching any signs of injury, the Coaching staff of the Flames, long in the making, is pretty solid, indeed.

Offensive Starting Eleven
# Name Position Race Age Weight Height Sex
8 Sandil Ren Quarterback Wraith 200 130 5'10" M
71 Thomas Anderson Left Guard Human 24 300 5'9" M
60 Gamek Itta Left Tackle Dwarf 50 275 5'1" M
75 Isaac Larson Center Human 21 310 6' M
68 Erik Hans Right Tackle Human 22 300 5'11" M
72 Jared Carson Right Guard Human 20 285 5'9" M
25 Nao'ren Isildil Running Back Werewolf 20 220 6'1" M
80 Asome Iskar Tight End Changeling 25 150 5'11" F
66 Andre Vans Fullback Treefolk 22 200 5'9" M
84 Joshua Ittenheim Wide Receiver Vampire 19 185 5'10" M
83 Anone Unheim Wide Receiver Human 20 190 5'11" M

A Wraith at the helm? Of course! He's been playing for a long time. Guarding him are four humans and a dwarf. The wide receivers are fast and small. This is a very suitable ground-and-pound offense with big-play capabilities.

Offensive Situational
# Name Position Race Age Weight Height Sex
81 Ryan Hammerhead Wide Receiver Human 22 200 6'2" M
88 Harold Newman Wide Receiver Human 21 190 6'5" M
18 Neo Moren Wide Receiver Human 24 195 6'4" M
89 Vance Carson Tight End Human 20 200 5'10" M
85 Patrick Isgard Tight End Human 22 210 5'9" M
28 Nu'il Ran Running Back Orc 25 225 6'5" M
70 Brian Nelson Offensive Lineman Human 24 350 5'11" M

Offensive Tendencies

Victoria Wells wants this offense to be a run-first, play-action offense. There are five receivers on the roster in case a no-huddle is needed. Sometimes, Wells will throw in six linemen, three tight ends, a fullback, and direct-snap the ball to Nu'il Ran in short yardage situations. This formation is called Hammerhead and is very useful.

Defensive Starting Eleven
# Name Position Race Age Weight Height Sex
50 Quincy Thames Left End Human 22 260 5'10" M
55 Miosi Harold Nose Tackle Tagawachi Demon 300 250 6'5" M
57 Larson Oswald Right End Human 20 285 5'10" M
41 Elemental Demon of Water Left Outside Linebacker Demon ? ? ? M
44 Julia Carter Strong Side Linebacker Human 22 160 5'3" F
43 Mark Noman Weak Side Linebacker Human 24 200 5'8" M
46 Nevin Hansoval Right Outside Linebacker Human 23 210 5'10" M
22 Neallie Janhoven Strong Safety Goblin 20 185 5'8" F
21 Michael Hammond Free Safety Human 22 200 6'2" M
26 Viccini Hansu Cornerback Elf 250 160 6'3" F
29 Nike Valhoun Cornerback Human 22 185 6" M

This group might not be the biggest, but they're mean. They chase after the ballcarrier and dish out some punishing hits. Oh, and don't think the girls don't know how to play - Viccini Hansu is a ballhawk.

Defensive Situational
# Name Position Race Age Weight Height Sex
54 Vince Battle Defensive Lineman Human 20 300 5'9" M
31 Theodore Vicks Safety Human 22 215 5'10" M
33 Nance Hendricks Cornerback Human 24 225 6' M

Battle can sub in and out to make the 3-4-4 be a 4-3-4. The extra secondary are necessary to play the Dime and Nickel packages.

Defensive Tendencies
Nau'kai Vanx believes in solid tackling and stopping the run in order to get the opponent into long yardage situations. This team will swarm around the ball and seek to cause plenty of turnovers.

Special Teams
# Name Position Race Age Weight Height Sex
11 Mark Van Allen Kicker Human 30 160 5'7" M
12 Julius Trotter Punter/Holder Human 23 145 5'9" M
15 Liam Unnson Long Snapper Human 25 155 5'10" M
91 Nymphadora Hellius Kick Returner Elf 212 140 6'0" F
92 Kim Ingard Punt Returner Human 22 150 5'11" F

Mark Van Allen is a beast with booming kicks, and Julius is notorious for coffin corner kicks. Watching Nymphadora dance through the other team never gets old. Field position is key for the Flames, and they handle it well.

The Flames made it to the Semifinals of the Baptism of Iron, only giving up two offensive touchdowns. Their special teams ended up being the Achilles' Heel... How the team will fare against stiffer competition remains to be seen.

If my opponent RP's first, he/she can:
Choose my scorers: Y
Choose scoring events: Y
Godmod scoring events: N
Injure my players: Y, within reason
Godmod injuries: N
Godmod other events: N
Style Modifier: -1.41

Journal Entry #1:
Starts at 3:16:12

Hey! Guess what... my psychologist, the freaky old bat that he is, decided that I still need to write in journal entries, like I did last time in the Baptism of Iron league. Which by the way, we lost in the playoffs. The FIRST game. IT SUCKED! And all because of the stupid, now-nonexistent punt returner. Anyways. We are going for the World Bowl, so I decided to put the roster in, as to commemorate our first time going to World Bowl. We only had one change. Our government was very happy with us, both for representing this country well, and for getting into playoffs on our FIRST season.

So, Alleshia, or whatever that stupid punter was, got fired, because on the playoff game we lost 10-0. Yet, that shouldn't be a reason, you say. But IT IS. First, she injured me, so I couldn't kick. She volunteered, gleefully.... then when all those field goal attempts came, which, I must say was at least 6 of them, SHE MISSED THEM ALL. Hence, the reason she got fired... and a male changeling took her place. He's nice.

But that doesn't solve my dilemma. You see, the reason I HAVE to write in this AGAIN, is the fact that now, currently, I am the only, yes ONLY Human Female in this whole team, coaches and all. Yes there is another female, but she's an elf. She doesn't count. UGH. So yeah. Roster's below!

This is it... I think we'll do fine. I mean, I don't expect us to win all the games, heck we might not even go to the playoffs. But it's the first. so yeah. We are in Frbiba group. This group involves:
Carasatoga
Chrinthanium
Whittoria
The Sin Anduin
Gyatso-kai
New Montreal States

I am a little... nervous. First time going into a sports league this big. Anyways, I gotta leave. Coach wants me to practice with the new holder. whose really young, but a prodigy... I guess? He's cool... and not as annoying or hell-bent on injuring me like that certain girl. OH! Did I mention?! She's in PRISON~! YES!!!!! Byesies!

"Both of you be quiet, or I will put you in the interrogator's block. Got it?"

"uh... yes sir."
"yeah..."

My opponent, if they RP first, may do the following:
Choose my scorers: Yes... but I might ask you to change my scorers afterwards.
Choose scoring events: Yes... but I might ask you to change that too... but usually I won't....
RP injuries to my players: Yes. but! one. keep it realistic. two. don't make them go out for the whole season.
Godmod scoring events: Yes... to a certain extent. I prefer if you keep it as realistic as possible, or if you really want to god mod, to go only a little out of the box, not all the way... you get what I mean? AND. IF YOU GOD MOD MY SCORING EVENTS I WILL GODMOD YOURS. NO BUTS, ANDS OR WHYS.
Godmod injuries: Yes, but as I said, keep it somewhat realistic, and don't make my players go out for the whole season... and oh! don't make it seem embarrassing.... to much. AND. IF YOU GODMOD MY INJURIES. I WILL GODMOD YOURS. NO BUTS, ANDS OR WHYS.
Godmod other events: Yes. If you are going to do this, then no killing and no severely injuring my players. But you can severely injure my citizens... I guess? AND. AGAIN... IF YOU GOD MOD OTHER EVENTS, I WILL GODMOD YOURS. NO BUTS, ANDS OR WHYS. (That is just what's gonna happen.)

The Karditan Ironworkers

Coming mostly from the rough streets of Detrot and Sinsinatti, the Ironworkers are the biggest and the strongest that managed to bash their way onto the national gridiron. They specialize in stopping the other team cold, delivering quick crushing hits that'll make your jaw rattle just watching. They have no particular preference on how to start drives- some call it a lack of focus, we call it flexibility. Passing and running can and will be used on all downs, forcing the opponents to constantly reajust and guess. Of course all pegasus competitors play with their wings tied to be fair.

Space has a new helmet
Image

The helmet was designed by the TGT sport group, however it is missing any marking logos that identify it with Space due to a strange surface finish on the item that prevents a decal being placed above the design.

The Space want all teams to be familiar with the new look in time so they don't forget who they are playing on the day of the game!

Gyatso-kai National Gridiron Infosheet

Postby Gyatso-kai » Wed Mar 21, 2012 10:44 pm

Again, I wish to thank Fanboyists for being ever the gracious senior RP’er. Following his amazingly in-depth roster and using it as a format and template for my own, I wish to extend my gratitude to him, not only for help with my roster, but with his extension of assistance in a sport I am not knowledgeable of.

Thank you again.

Gyatso-kai Men's National Football Team
凯海洋国家美式足球队
Kǎihǎiyáng Guójiā Měishìzúqiú Duì
Gyats'kai Tsad droten Gaan’shuk

After a demoralizing performance at the Baptism of Iron in Michael VII, the Gyatso-kai Men’s Gridiron Team returned to Michael VII after a week of rest at home to take on the World Bowl.

With a standing international record of 1-0-3 and having only scored 52 points in those four games, the Boarcupines allowed 77 points from opponents... What can we say? This is not a sport we are expecting to do great in; gaan’shuk is only played by a few million people nationwide, and it enjoys the lowest-ranked television viewership of all male-competing sports, which still places it miles ahead of any female sport (save Volleyball and Gymastics).

What else can we say about our team? Let us just hope they do not embarrass themselves any more than they did at the Baptism of Iron...

Which isn’t saying much...

Official Name: Gyatso-kai Men’s National Gridiron Team / 凯海洋国家美式足球队 (Kǎihǎiyáng Guójiā Měishìzúqiú Duì) / Gyats'kai Tsad droten Gaan’shuk
Official Nation Name: The Avatarian Republics of Gyatso-kai / 凯海洋降世神通共和国 (Kǎihǎiyáng Jiàngshì Shéntōng Gònghéguó) / Tsad Gyats'kai Jettise
Country Code: GKI
Officiating League: The Republic Gaan’shuk/Gridiron League (RGL)
Founded:
Titles: 0 (First World Bowl Appearance
Rank: 147th
Nickname: Boarcupines

Head Coach: Nabru RE'YEM
Age: 47 | Years as Head Coach: 1

The former Head Coach of two-time Avatarian Collegiate Sports Confederation National Champions, the Adirolf Gators, Nabru Re'yem was selected from a pool of fifteen collegiate and professional Coaches to command Gyatso-kai's first-ever National Gridiron team. Considered one of the most accomplished practitioners of the spread offence, Re'yem's teams at Bowling Blue, Hatu State, Adirolf, as well as his first professional team in Rev’ned all have run the spread, chiefly utilising a run-first variation, often tweaked to fit his offensive personnel; for example, Re'yem's first two years ad Adirolf skewed toward a drop-back passing attack lead by Risch Keal, while Alex Smith and Mit Wobet lead an option run-based spread. It would be under this offence that Re'yem would win twp ACSC titles, as well as becoming the first coach to lead a non-BSC conference team (Hatu State) to a BSC bowl and coaching a Shaoyin Trophy winner (Wobet) and graudating a player who became a number one overall pick in the Republic Gaan'shuk League (RGL) draft (Smith).

General Manager: SUZUKI Haru
Age: 57 | Years At Job: 1

The General Manger of the National Team, Suzuki Haru has had quite the experiences managing teams. First selected as the General Manager of FC Mando back in 1988, he has since bounced between two different sports in three nations; heading FC Mando from 1988-1996, then making the leap to RC United from 1996-2001, and since 2001, heading the Imami Dolphins organisation in the RGL. Announced as the National GM, Suzuki has been incredibly busy travelling around the Republics as well as abroad, seeking players from multiple gridiron leagues who possess Avatarian citizenship to play on the team.

Special Teams Cooridnator: NGUYEN Thomas
Age: 46 | Years At Job: 1

Not much is known is about Nguyen, save that he has been the secondary coach at Adirolf for the past two seasons, and the team has made a strong turn-around to have the #3 ranked secondary in the league when compared to their last-place position in the 2010.1 Season

Offensive Coordinator: YAMAHUCHI Qing
Age: 49 | Years At Job: 1

While most offensive coaches are out on the field during practices, giving players invaluable lessons thanks to years of experience, Yamahuchi is not given such a chance. With Re’yem’s almost-obsessive need to control everything at practice, Yamahuchi is left to call the plays during games and deal with the offensive lessons at team meeting... Poor guy...

Quaterbacks Coach: CHEN Takumi
Age: 49 | Years At Job: 1

Chen spent nearly fifteen years in Avatarian gridiron and gaan'shuk games as a spread quaterback, with all of the intangibles which made him great. The simple fact that he has such a wealth of knowledge at his disposal makes him probably one of the best QB coaches around to develop the still-young talents of Wobet and Notwen; both of whom are constantly criticized in the RGL for their ‘unique’ styles.

Running Backs Coach: SATO Yuudai
Age: 56 | Years At Job: 1

An impressive running back in the prime of his career, Sato has managed to piece together many prime combos in his years as Head Coach of Penoc State. By adding him to the national team, Re'yem hopes to bring the 'luck' Sato seems to naturally seep onto any team he has been a part of. Given the performance of the Running Backs in the Baptism of Iron earlier this month, however, it can be assumed no luck as been transferred yet.

Receivers Coach: SHAO Liju
Age: 62 | Years At Job: 1

An old receiver who played in the days of the Pass Offence's prime, Shao has continued to impress the Management of the National Team in the three years as Receiver's Coach at the University of Imaim; given weak and less-than-average talented players, he has continued to develop a team which ranks in the Top 10 on Receiving throughout the RGL. Though, Receivers are only a part of the equation, and Shao has much work to be completed before the National Team is even considered a threat on the International stage...

Offensive Line Coach: YAMAHUCHI Qing
Age: 49 | Years At Job: 1

Taking a page from his college days, Re’yem assigned Yamahuchi has both Offensive Line Coach AND Offensive Coordinator. However, were has in the OffCo role Re’yem is constantly mucking around, Yamahuchi is more free to do his job at OLC; utilising the years of experience he has as being the Offensive Line Coach of three Supreme Bowl teams to help form a decent national team.

Defensive Coordinator: NAKAMURA Yoshi
Age: 42 | Years At Job: 1

Left to his own devices by Re'yem, Nakamura is in charge of all defensive play-calling. Having led the best defence in the RGL for the past seven years, Nakamura is the architect for the Boarcupine's flexible defence; which at first glance was really a fine-tuned machine in Michael VII. However, it quickly became apparent that they could not stop any of the offences faced in the Baptism of Iron, but rather could only slow them down.

Defensive Line Coach: KOIZUMI Hideyoshi
Age: 47 | Years At Job: 1

Having served on the defensive line of the RGL's top team for nearly fifteen years, Koizumi has accumulated much knowledge and experience when it comes to the defence. In the 2011.2 Supreme Bowl, the Hitomori Hawks kept the Enceri Jets to just 12 points. A victory of 36-12 was enjoyable for many to watch.

Linebackers Coach: ALMEC Julien
Age: 37 | Years At Job: 1

Almec just recently retired from his record-setting career as a linebacker with the Yinduchengshi Maju; while he knows his position better than anyone in Gyatso-kai, he has yet to hold any real coaching job save Senior Lineback at Maju camps. Only time will tell us how great or how poor he is at passing on his knowledge.

Secondary Coach: NGUYEN Thomas
Age: 46 | Years At Job: 1

With so few players to handle, it would make little sense for the Boarcupines to hire an individual coach as opposed to simply utilising the available staff. As such, Nguyen pulls double-duty as both Secondary Coordinator and Secondary Coach.

Offence

Style: +3.0 out of +5.0
Primary Front: Spread Option
Overview: A team which showcases the speed and agility needed to effectively run a Spread Option style of play. Expect Wobet to pass the ball just as often as he runs it in. When under Notwen, you can expect just a bit more passing, but still, the offence will try and spread the defence wide and create perfect centre lanes for passing or rushing...

#15 - Mit WOBETTEAM CAPTAIN
Height: 191cm | Weight: 111kg | Age: 24 | College: University of Adirolf (2006 - 2009) | Professional: Rev'ned Mustangs (2010.2-)

The starting quaterback and the Captain of the Boarcupines, Mit Wobet is one of the most prolific players in the 21st Century. Holding multiple records in the ASCA's Southeastern Conference, Wobet eventually went on to lead the Adirolf Gators to back-to-back ACSC National Championships; 2008 and 2009. Wobet is known as a dual threat quaterback; one who as adept at rushing as he is at passing the football. With his unorthodox RGL skills, frequent demonstrations of his religious devotion, combined with his team's recent success, Wobet has attracted unprecedented praise, criticism, and attention from the sporting media and beyond.
Rating: A+ - Team Relationship: A+ - Morale: A+ - Form: A

#13 - Mac NOTWEN
Height: 196cm | Weight: 112kg | Age: 22 | College: University of Kibago (2008-2010) | Professional: Linacaro Panthers (2011.1-)

Much like his starting counterpart, Mac Notwen comes from a very prolific collegiate career; originally starting on the same team as Wobet in 2007, Notwen would end up transferring to Kibago so as to gain a starting position as opposed to back-up. He would lead Kibago to the 2010 Avatarian Collegiate Sports Confederation National Champions and then be drafted in the first round in the 2011 RGL Draft. Another double-threat, Notwen is more adept at passing, and is often brought in when the rush is not working out and Wobet is being shutdown on the run.
Rating: A - Team Relationship: A - Morale: B - Form: A

#23 - TACHIBANA Huang
Height: 182cm | Weight: 106kg | Age: 30 | College: University of Imaim (1996 - 1999) | Professional: Rev'ned Mustangs (2000.1-)

In his very first professional run, Tachibana broke two defensive line tackles, six more running down the field for a 93-yard touchdown. Since then, he has continued to set multiple records season after season. Just last season, he set a team record for 180 yards in a game with ten carries and three touchdowns.
Rating: A - Team Relationship: B - Morale: A - Form: A

#35 - SHUI Jiamah
Height: 175cm | Weight: 97kg | Age: 26 | College: University of Omashu (2002-2006) | Professional: Kamino Cloners (2006.2-2010.1), Hitomori Hawks (2010.2- )

Shui is a fragile speedster amongst full-sized trucks. Shui is only good in between the tackles so long as he has good blocks from the offensive lines. Running to the outside, or playing as more of a halfback, though, is a different tale. Shui is one of the fastest players on the offence, and if Shui gets free of the defence, few can catch him.

#37 - SATO Jirou
Height: 175cm | Weight: 90kg| Age: 25 | College: University of Kibago (2003-2007)| Professional: Kamino Cloners (2007.1-)

Another smaller running back, Sato lacks Tachibana's power through the middle of the field, however, he does possess enough speed to make it between the tackles. In addition, his strength is very respectable; which consider he spends his time at Kamino facing defensive men twice his size, yet he is still able to get the ball out is a feat on its own.

#42 - LIN Shun
Height: 180cm | Weight: 102kg | Age: 25 | College: Penoc State University (2005-2009) | Professional:Kyrimorut Troopers (2009.4-2011.3), Bralin Eagles (2011.4-)

Originally drafted to the Kyrimorut Troopers in 2009, Lin saw little success there. However, with the expansion of the RGL in 2011, he soon found himself on the newest team in the league, the Bralin Eagles. While his skills and morale leave much to be desired, his speed and form are incredibly strong; many suspect this is why he was brought onto the team. Given his size over Sato, expect to see Lin make more substitutions on the second line, while Larsen brings up front-line support.
Rating: B- - Team Relationship: B - Morale: C - Form: A

#46 - Re'spen LARSEN
Height: 188cm | Weight: 111kg | Age: 28| College: University of Omashu (1999-2003) | Professional: Rev'ned Mustangs (2004.1-2011.3), Bralin Eagles (2011.4-)
**NOTE: Plays as Fullback**

Much like Lin, Larsen is much more the physical running back; with size, strength, and speed on his side, one can only imagine why Larsen was not on a higher line. It all comes down to morale and his relationship with the team; given his mentality, Larsen is a defeatist, one who is far more prone to lay down and give up then to get back up and fight... though with such a strong form, we can still expect to see him on the field at least twice a game. Also, given that he actually plays at the fullback position, anytime we see the Boarcupines shift from the Spread, expect to see Larsen right in the middle of it all.

#27 - HASHIMOTOIsamu
Height: 180cm| Weight: 91kg | Age: 24 | College: Roku Univesity (2006-2010)| Professional: Kamino Cloners (2010-)

Having only played two years of professional ball is not something uncommon on the Boarcupines. However, Hashimoto snuck onto the playing roster without anyone really noticing. While Hashimoto possesses some speed, some size, and decent hands, he is still a developing player out of college, though the signs point to a bright future.

#33 - YU Wei
Height: 180cm | Weight: 103kg| Age: 27 | College: Saigon City College (1995-1999) | Professional: Rev'ned Mustangs (2000.1-2005.1), Enceri Jets (2005.2-2011.3), Yinuutki Giants (2011.4-)

Having saved his chances with the national team thanks to a fantastic performance in the Supreme Bowl with the second-place Yinuutki Giants, Yu earns his place as a #4 running back held in reserve. Yu will rotate around with other running backs, or even may play inside-receiver on plays when his amazing speed can come into use. Many feel Yu should be placed into the Receiver Corps, yet Re'yem still keeps him in the Running Corps...

Height: 184cm | Weight: 112kg | Age: 23 | College: Royal Earth University (2006-2010) | Professional: Braslin Eagles (2012.1-)
**NOTE: Plays as Fullback**

After taking a year in-between college and his professional career to serve a tour of duty in Gaoling, Bai Rikuto makes the national team after just a single season of professional ball. Brought in mostly due to his experience running the spread at REU, Bai is not exactly a stand-out receiver, since his position at REU was first-line fullback. However, Re'yem hopes to see him develop as a strong running back in the national team in Michael VII.

#19 - Atin UTHAN
Height: 180cm | Weight: 83kg | Age: 24 | College: Hatsu State University (2006-2009) | Professional: Rev'ned Mustangs (2010.1-)
***Note - First Choice Punt Returner, Second Choice Kick Returner ***

Drafted to the Mustangs the season before the arrival of Webot, Atin Uthan was given just a year before the Mustangs reverted back to his old college style. Since then, he has moved up the depth chart, finding himself in the first squad for the first time since his third season at Hatsu State. Coming in as a tremendously physical player, Uthan comes off of a close call in the Supreme Bowl for the RGL. Critical to the games he plays in due to his knack at making big plays and covering his zones, Uthan has made a habit in Rev'ned of making highlight-reel-worthy interceptions, or just ruining a perfect pass by knocking it into the ground.

#88 - A'den KATO
Height: 190cm | Weight: 107kg | Age: 24 | College: Hatsu State University (2006-2009) | Professional: Itakawai Buccaneers (2010.1-)

A big-play receiver, Kato was a college teammate of Uthan, which is likely why he was picked for the national team opposite of him. While he has terrific hands, incredible speed and a kangaroo-like leaping prowess, Kato also is large enough and strong enough to be a true physical player, which you can see him from time-to-time excelling in pushing heavier defencemen back and back and back some more...

***Note - Second Choice Punt Returner, Third Choice Kick Returner***

A player very similar to Kato in almost all areas, Gang Ru faces the challenges of size against the much larger defensive ends; the same height as Kato, Gang is about eight kilos lighter. He is somewhat quicker on the draw than Kato, which means he could end up with more time on the field. He stills needs to work on his form, which still leaves much to be desired, which surprises many as to his selection.

Height: 180cm | Weight: 85kg | Age: 24 | College: University of Omashu (2006-2009) | Professional: Kamino Cloners (2010.1-)

Another young receiver, Somchai was added to the team so as to provide depth to the veteran-filled reserves. With some big-play potential, Somchai made many pushes for the Cloners in the last half of the 2012.1 Season, however, some argue his form leaves much to be desired....

#12 - GI Klahan Moon
Height: 182cm | Weight: 86kg | Age: 27 | College: University of Omashu (2001-2005) | Professional: Itakawai Buccaneers (2006.1-)

A career wide receiver for the Buccaneers, Gi is also the primary kick returner for the Boarcupines. Given his immense speed, few can stop him, let alone keep up with him. However, to gain such speed, he is not the biggest of men on the team. This lack of size has hampered his development through his career; as a result of a heavy hit in the RFC Playoffs, Gi missed the first half of the 2012.1 season.

Height: 187cm | Weight: 88kg | Age: 22 | College: University of the Southern Tribes (2008-2012) | Professional: Kamino Cloners (2012.2-)

The youngest player on the team, drafted in the first second round of the 2012.2 draft, Qing Kikwan comes in off of a stellar college career. However, this college career did not translate to a great professional career. Instead, it brought him from the first string of the UST Walruses to the third string of the Cloners. While his speed is impressive, his hands are just sub-par and his vision is not terrific. With time, Qing will develop into a great receiver... but that time is still to come.

As a player who has moved around a bit, Pam has made the constant move from Mando teams to Mando teams to Mando teams. This continues to solidify his role as a quick runner with massive hands which make catching a silverbass look like picking up a ajai fruit. However, why he made it to the reserves of the Boarcupine no one can quite understand. Perhaps it is just a coincidence... perhaps it is to help develop the 24-years-old front two lines...

Height: 192cm | Weight: 114kg | Age: 28 | College: University of Kibago (2002-2006) | Professional: Itakawai Buccaneers (2006.1-)

The number one draft pick of 2006.1, Fells is still playing for the same team that drafted him. A classic tightend, who simply knows his job and gets it done without any questions.

Height: 193cm| Weight: 113kg | Age: 27 | College:

Very similar to his first-line counterpart, Oir’asor is another classic tightend. He gets the job done each and every time, though, you can expect a few slips in his reading ability from time to time. Luckily, he has experience --- both professional and collegiate --- with Wobet, so the two are able to interact very well.

#78 - Hakoda KUNAYAK
Height: 198cm | Weight: 142kg | Age: 25 | College: Roku University (2005-2009) | Professional: Kyrimorut Troopers (2010.1-)
**Note: Plays as Left Tackle**

Kunayak is a strong left tackle, who while at RU developed wonderfully in their run-first system. Drafted in the first round of the 2010.1 draft, he soon found himself in more of pass-protection role at Kyrimorut. Even with the Boarcupines, he is finding his niche; however, he is not finding it fast-enough. So, as always, rotation will see him swapped around with Clark when we see Notwen take the helm.

**Note: Plays as Left Tackle**

Another solid left tackle on the Boarcupines offensive line. Clark is equally as great as Kunayak, though, he is slightly more adapted to the Spread Offence utilised by the team. Expect to see him rotated around with Kunayak whenever Wobet is at the head.

Height: 194cm | Weight: 140 kg | Age: 22 | College: University of Adirolf (2008-2011) | Professional: Rev'ned Mustangs (2012.1-)
**Note: Plays as Left Tackle**

A young gun fresh from a championship season with the Gators, Zehcnas is as adept at running with the Spread as any of the left tackles on the team. However, while his knoledge is incomparable, his experience is lacking, which is why Re'yem has him in the third slot. With time, he will be magnificent, but for now, he is just good.

Zales is a ferocious blocker, which is great, considering how important guards are in stalling the defence to allow the time needed for the Spread to work.

Height: 193cm | Weight: 137kg | Age: 29 | College: Northern University (2001-2004) | Professional: Rev'ned Mustangs (2007.1-)
**Note: Plays as Left Guard**

A fierce competitor, honed by several high-value contest at Northern University and at Rev'ned, Kuper is not to be underestimated. The most experience left guard on the team, Kuper imparts his time-earned wisdom to the younger men on the line. He is not the best at the position, though, his experience does outrank his lack of form.

**Note: Plays as Centre**

After serving four years with the Grand Army of the Republic, Mi'rez has become an impressive presence on the field. A massive man, who has maintained his form and shape since graduating from Adirolf, he was drafted by the Cloners in 2008.1 and has since developed into one hell of a steady hand for the offence there. He plays with the same mentality as many guards; this equates to one fine blocker who tends to enjoy taking tackles head-on.

**Note: Plays as Centre**

Another very capable blocker for the Boarcupines, Mongoyak brings youth to support the experience of Mi'rez. Another massive man on the line who enjoys hitting people just a little too much.

#71 - Russ HOCHSTEIN

**Note: Plays as Right Guard**

The veteran of the Boarcupines, Hochstein has still managed to keep a foot on his younger competition. Still a very capable and aggressive guard, Hochstein still resembles his prime when he lead three teams to championship seasons; Itakawai in 2005, Rev’ned in 2007, and Hitomori in 2010. Though he is getting a little long in the tooth, he is still a terrifying man to face on the field.

**Note: Plays as Right Tackle**

Noongwook is a right tackle who is as good at pass protection as he is at run blocking. He garnishes the favour of Re'yem due to his love of playing and the love of doing his job well. Extremely devoted to the team, he was ejected from a college game when the opposition gave an illegal hit to his quaterback... and Noongwook felt it best to take off his helmet and bash it upside the hitter when he got up. One of the ASCA's best remembered games.

**Note: Plays as Right Tackle**

Hills is a solid all-around player, but is not at the same level of talent as his compatriots. He fills in when needed, and is known from time to time to deliver a terrific performance, however, do not expect to see him outperform Noongwook, and Hills will remain in the second line of the right tackle position.

**Note: Plays as Right Tackle:**

A younger player who has seen much growth since his days at Omashu, Rishar is a very strong and big tackle, though he just lacks the talent of Noongwook or Hills. He fills in the thrid spot well, and expect to see him play every other game or so, or even when Noongwook needs rest mid-game.

Defence

Style: -1.0 out of -5.0
Primary Front: 4-3 defence
Overview: This defence is designed with a blitz-heavy approach in mind. While it is filled with many great talents, it is not the best aspect of the Boarcupines, and many see the Baptism of Iron as a means to test the men on the line. The secondary is comprised of the best players in the league, and as such, is an integral part of the team.

#96 - REIN’UN Ch’tim
Height: 193cm | Weight: 132kg | Age: 24 | College: University of Adiolf (2006-2010) | Professional: Rev’ned Mustangs (2011.2-)
**Note: Plays as Right Tackle**

Slightly smaller than Leybunk on the left, Rein’un is the best defensive lineman playing for the Boarcupines. With his professional years spent running the 4-3, not to mention his entire college career under the same front, Rein’un knows what he is doing, and he does it very well. While he is no speed-demon, he is quick enough on his feet so as to pose a threat to inside-rushers, and he has more than once laid out a quarterback who underestimated him.
Rating: A - Team Relationship: A - Morale: B - Form: A

#77 - LEYBUNK Ri’bro

**Note: Plays as Left Tackle**

A terrific nose for passers and ball-carriers, Leybunk is a very capable tackle who fills the role of a run-stopper for the Boarcupines. With decent explosiveness off the line and having a knack for mucking the offensive line up just enough to stop any progress, Leybunk brings experience and charisma to any team he is on.

**Note: Plays as Left Tackle**

Nay’r is very efficient as a tackle, able to read the offence from the other side and know exactly who it is he needs to block and stall. Not really that terrific of a player, though his form is impeccable; likely the result of his collegiate days under a head coach who would drill the basics for hours...

**Note: Plays as Right Tackle**

An explosive tackle, Mastho is someone who can cause serious damage on the inside. Though his form needs work, he is under the tutelage of his college coach, and as such, we can be sure to see him improve with time.

Height: 190cm | Weight: 124kg | Age: 26 | College: Royal Earth University (2004-2008) | Professional: Rev’ned Mustangs (2009.1-)
**Note: Plays as Right Defensive End**

A sharp contrast to the quiet and polite Vilmerud, Sreya Ro’er is a stereotypical Mando; boisterous, energetic and amazingly intelligent. Known for constantly shuffling about prior to the snap, Sreya serves as a huge distraction on the line, drawing attention to himself and away from the play. Usually works pretty well, considering the amount of mando’a profanities he shouts.

#92 - VILMERUD Vis’el
Height: | Weight: | Age: | College: | Professional:

Vilmerud is the star player of the defensive line. Incredibly fast and stong, with the ability to make idiots out of most of his offensive counterparts, Vilmerud is as flexible as player as they come. With an impressive work ethic and the manners of a reform school graduate, Vilmerud is a bag of contradictions compared to his first-line counterpart, Sreya Ro’er.

**Note: Plays as Right Defensive End**

Siliga’s partner on the end, Terhun is a good player, even though he is still in need of work. Whereas Siliga has only played professionally for two years, it has been five years since Terhun was at UO, and they both are on par for development. It may be sometime until Terhan finds himself on the first line, but until then, he seems perfectly content playing second fiddle.

**Note: Plays as Left Defensive End**

Siliga is a solid, all-around defensive end who can play the run and pass solidly. At 25 years-of-age, he is still developing, so expecting a good deal of playing time is not likely. However, he is talented, so you can expect him to show when the time comes...

**Note: Plays as Right Linebacker**

Following a three season hiatus in which he volunteered to aid the southern regions following the Concordian dissent, Amsilliw returned to the Itakawai Buccaneers a renewed man. He can blitz harder than any man on the line, considering his size when compared to the other monsters who make up the defensive line. He contributes greatly to the pass-rush, and is able to cover short-routes during zone defence.

Having played for three teams, Obiozor has some very interesting knowledge to contribute to the linebackers. He is highly intelligent, and even graduated from Hastu State with a 3.98 GPA and a degree in Particle Sciences. Surprising he chose to play get’shuk instead of winning a Noble Prize...

**Note: Plays as Left Linebacker**

Having two championship rings in his possession from his years in Kamino, Ganhan is still at the peak of his form. With his main strength in guarding the middle, he is still quite capable of carrying out other responsibilities, such as pass rushing and stopping the run with equal efficiency.

Another player whose development continues to this day, Iwuh would have found himself higher in the depth chart had he not had to compete against the likes of Amsilliw and Obiozor. He does everything that the two players above him can do just as well, but his speed and knowledge of the game still need to improve before he can place higher.

Height: 180cm | Weight: 113kg | Age: 26 | College: University of Omashu (2004-2008) | Professional: Rev’ned Mustangs (2009.1-2009.4, 2011.4-), Enceri Jets (2010.1-2010.3), Taishen Tigers (2010.4-2011.3)

Syam is a beast of a player; unimaginably strong, incredibly intelligent, and quick on the draw. Still developing as a player, Syam is solid in all of the physical categories of a player, yet it is simply his intelligence which sets him miles apart from his teammates.
Rating: A+ - Team Relationship: A+ - Morale: A - Form: A

#56 – Tean INGIRV
Height: 184cm | Weight: 109kg | Age: 23 | College: University of Adirolf (2007-2011)| Professional: Itakawai Buccaneers (2012.1-)

A very capable inside linebacker, Ingirv’s main strength is in covering the middle, however, he is still very capable of pass rushing as well as stopping the run.
Rating: B+ - Team Relationship: B - Morale: B - Form: A

#24 - LEYIAB Cyr’oDEFENSIVE CAPTAIN
Height: 182cm | Weight: 88kg | Age: 33 | College: University of Adirolf (1997-2001) | Professional: Hitomori Hawks (2002.1-)
**Note: Plays as Left Cornerback**

The most experienced play-making corner available in Gyatso-kai, Ley’iab has the distinction of playing for just a single team in his ten year professional career: Whereas most players end up spending five to six years with a team, Ley’iab beats the odds. Even though he is high in age, he is very fast and has an instinctive knack for placing himself between the airborne ball and the intended receiver. His talent and experience makes him the ranking NCO of the Defence Corps, which many see him as more of a general than as a NCO.
Rating: A - Team Relationship: A - Morale: A - Form: A

#21 - MADOOGN Rean
Height: 178cm | Weight: 87kg | Age: 33 | College: Keldabe State University (1997-2001) | Professional: Rev’ned Mustangs (2002.1-2007.3), Kamino Cloners (2007.4-)
**Note: Plays as Right Cornerback**

Another seasoned cornerback, Madoogn comes out of Adirolf’s biggest rival at Keldabe State and, given his age, he played plenty of games opposite of Leyiab. As such, he knows his partner’s style very well and the two cornerbacks complement each other vividly.
Rating: A - Team Relationship: B - Morale: A - Form: A

#25 - RISHA Ris’ch
Height: 177cm | Weight: 86kg | Age: 22 | College: Penoc State University (2008-2012) | Professional: Braslin Eagles (2012.2-)
**Note: Plays as Left Cornerback**

The youngest member of the cornerbacks, Risha graduated from Penoc State a semester early so as to qualify for the 2012.2 RGL Draft; finding his home in Braslin in the second round. Risha differs than the first-line cornerbacks in that he is more speed-geared, placing himself easily between the ball and the receiver. While he is not very consistent in getting the interception, he is consistent in keeping the opponent from gaining the first down.
Rating: B - Team Relationship: A - Morale: B - Form: B

#29 - REMOO Shuajo
Height: 178cm | Weight: 84kg | Age: 23 | College: Hatsu State University (2007-2011) | Professional: Kamino Cloners (2012.1-)
**Note: Plays as Right Cornerback**

Much like Risha, Remoo is a young freshly-drafted player. Not having played in the professional scene long enough to make any big differences in the games he has played. Even faster than Risha, Remoo can keep pace with the fastest and most agile of receivers and this plays well into the hands of the Boarcupines. Expect to see Remoo come out whenever the defence needs a speed boost.
Rating: B - Team Relationship: A - Morale: B - Form: B

#32 - TERCAR Onty
Height: 175cm | Weight: 79kg | Age: 25 | College: Adirolf State University (2005-2009) | Professional: Kamino Cloners
**Note: Plays as Right Cornerback**

A second-line corner back on the Kamino Cloners behind first-string Remoo Shuajo, Tercar is just another solid corner in the line of the Boarcupines. He does a very good job in the secondary, even though he is fairly unremarkable.
Rating: B- - Team Relationship: B - Morale: C - Form: B

#22 - SYD’QUAN
Height: 175cm | Weight: 86kg | Age: 25 | College: Royal Earth University (2005-2009) | Professional: Itakawai Buccaneers (2010.1-)

A mostly speed-based corner, Syd’Quan is not as physical as his compatriots. Due to his flexibility, he is not listed as a left or a right corner back, and he will often fill the void left by fatigue regardless of what side of the field he is running.
Rating: B - Team Relationship: C - Morale: B - Form: A

#30 - Vid'da TONBRU
Height: 188cm | Weight: 98kg | Age: 24 | College: University of Adirolf (2006-2010) | Professional: Rev'ned Mustangs
**Note: Plays as Strong Safety**

Coming from the Gators two championships teams, Tonbru is an exceptional player. As exceptional as he is, he is still one of the most under-rated safeties of the RGL. This is due to the fact that he is on one of the most prolific teams in the National Conference. Tonbru excels at coverage, but working on the fly has improved his contributions to the team, and he makes for a solid last-ditch tackle against a lose running back.
[color=#990000]Rating: A - Team Relationship: A - Morale: A - Form: A

#28 - TERRAC Tonqui
Height: 184cm | Weight: 90kg | Age: 23 | College: Royal Earth University (2007-2011)| Professional: Itakawai Buccaneers (2012.1-)
**Note: Plays as Free Safety**

Drafted in the fifth round of the 2012.1 RGL Draft, Terrac comes out of one of the premier educational establishments in Gyatso-kai; earning a 3.88 GPA and a degree in Philosophy, Terrac chose to pursue his sports passion. A solid all-around safety who is at his best when playing a responsibility. Terrac is able to shut down receivers and/or entire sections of the field with the utmost in competence, leaving his backfield partner --- Tonbru --- free to make the big plays.
[color=#990000]Rating: A - Team Relationship: A - Morale: A - Form: A

#36 - SHUB Fael
Height: 180cm | Weight: 91kg | Age: 24 | College: Penoc State University (2006-2010) | Professional: Kyrimorut Troopers (2011.1-)
**Note: Plays as Strong Safety**

Another young safety who will likely develop into a major force for the team in a few years, to support the ever-developing Tonbru. A very capable back-up.
[color=#990000]Rating: A - Team Relationship: A - Morale: A - Form: A

#26 - RE’OM Rahim
Height: 184cm | Weight: 88kg| Age: 22 | College: Saigon City (2008-2012) | Professional: Braslin Eagles (2012.2-)
**Note: Plays as Strong Safety**

Signed to the Braslin Eagles without even being drafted, Re’om is a remarkable player. However, he is still too young to be able to play consistently, though his form is well defined.
[color=#990000]Rating: B - Team Relationship: A - Morale: B - Form: B

#20 - KINSDAW Nai’r
Height: 182cm | Weight: 95kg | Age: 38| College: Saigon City College (1992-1996) |
Professional: Hitomori Hawks (1997.1-1999.2), Enceri Jets (1999.3-2002.1, 2009.2-2011.1), Northern Ravens (2002.2-2007.1), Taishen Tigers (2007.2-2009.1), Beijing Ironclaws (2011.2-2011.4), Braslin Eagles (2012.1-)

**Note: Plays as Strong Safety**

The ‘old wolf’ on the line, brought in as an elder to educate the younger members of the defence. He is still a great player, though to aid the youth in development, Kinsdaw has taken a place on the third line. Quite a difference when compared to his ‘Golden Years’ with the Enceri Jets; winning four championships in five years (1999.4, 2001.2, 2009.3, and 2011.1).
[color=#990000]Rating: B - Team Relationship: A - Morale: B - Form: B

#54 - BINN Di'vad
Height: 190cm | Weight: 130kg | Age: 30 | College: Keldave State University (2000-2004) | Professional: Imaim Dolphins (2005.1-2006.3, 2008.4-2011.1), Kamino Cloners (2011.2-)

A long snapper who took a break in his career to re-focus on his religion, Binn is a very consistent snapper. Accurate as any one else... Not sure what else needs to be said.
Rating: A+ - Team Relationship: A - Morale: A - Form: A+

#66 - TONPAX Nielo – SPECIAL TEAMS CAPTAIN
Height: 188cm | Weight: 122kg | Age: 34 | College: Northern University (1996-2000) | Professional: Republic Nationalists (2000.4-2008.4) Rev'ned Mustangs (2009.1-)

The back-up long snapper, who was signed to the Nationalists in 2000 fresh out of college and undrafted. Since then, he joined the Nationalists on two Supreme Bowl championships and then has helped the Mustangs pull into contention. Not much else to say... Accurate and consistent. Only second due to his age.
Rating: A - Team Relationship: A - Morale: A - Form: A

#5 - Matt PRATER
Height: 180cm | Weight: 82kg | Age: 27 | College: University of South Adirolf (2002-2006) | Professional: Imaim Dolphins (2007.1-2007.3), Kosu PlatypusBears (2007.4-2010.2), Rev'ned Mustangs (2010.3-)

The most accurate kicker in the Republic Gaat'shuk League, Prater manages to make nearly 85% of his field goals from 50 yards or more. He has an impressive leg, which is in no doubt due to his time playing summer meshgeroya in a professional league. The coaches never mind, just so long as he doesn't let it interfere with his RGL duties.
Rating: A+ - Team Relationship: A - Morale: A - Form: A+

#4 - QUITTCOL Nottrib
Height: 191cm | Weight: 93kg | Age: 26 | College: University of Omashu (2005-2009) | Professional:Imaim Dolphins (2009.1-2009.4), Kyrimorut Troopers (2010.1-2011.2), Rev'ned Mustangs (2011.3-)

An impressive punter who averages 46.2 yards a kick, Quittcol has been a player with some controversy around him since he first stepped onto a field. With a family of all-star punters, Quittcol has had a bit of an alcohol problem from time to time, even going as far as being released from the Imaim Dolphins after the 2009.4 season due to seven alcohol-related arrests in three
weeks.
Rating: A - Team Relationship: B - Morale: B - Form: A+

Analysis: The Flames will have two games to warm up against fellow unranked teams before playing the two heavyweights. The middle stretch of TaQud, and the second run through of Equestrian States will prove to be crucial. With only the top two teams making it to the playoffs, there is no room for error - the Flames must win the games that they can against their fellow unranked teams and hope to upset the two ranked ones.

It symbolizes that football is back. For six years, the game between Civil Citizenry and the Kytler Peninsulae has kicked off the World Bowl; and as the third edition of the rivalry approaches, one realizes this upcoming tournament, the seventeenth of its kind, will serve as a make-or-break moment for the Explorers. Only in the last few years has American football been taken seriously by Citiz, and the Explorers have vaulted up to thirteenth in the world. Now is the team's best opportunity to break through into the top ten. If they hope to do so, it will start with the high-octane rivalry match with the Guardians.

"This isn't just a warmup game, like some uninformed critics like to say," head coach Palmer Manning said. "The Guardians game sets the tone for the rest of the tournament. There's no doubt in my mind that our two playoff runs were partially fueled by defeating the Kytlerians to open the tournament." Manning is returning to head the Explorers for the fourth time, and guided the team to wins in both meetings with the Kytler Peninsulae. This will be the second time the game will be played at the ChocoMilk Amfootball Arena, and Manning says "home advantage is critical," even though he's managed to win in Zube, too. "It's hard to generate the same type of intensity on the road that you can when tens of thousands of fans are screaming for you to win."

There will be a lot of excitement when fans stream into the Bartewick stadium tonight. A new quarterback is taking the helm: Max Rowleigh, whom many know better as "Kevlannan." He shocked the world several years ago, when he led Touffer University to the NSCF playoffs; his name became one with the likes of Mikjel Ostgurn and Luke Saint. Having graduated, however, he is now ready to take his talents to professional football, replacing Saxon Haugard in the starting lineup. As successful and accurate as Haugard was, hype is heavy for Rowleigh's debut; Manning is only intensifying the excitement by beefing the wide receiver corps and the offensive line. This means the offense will no longer rely on two top tight ends - a feature of the Manning offense - as the great Cadby Townleigh will play some offensive tackle and Devin Morton will mostly serve as another wide receiver. Manning stresses, however, that Morton and Townleigh are versatile enough to provide Rowleigh with a ton of offensive opportunities, whether with a more powerful offensive line, with more available wide receivers, or with Manning's patented TE-based style.

Most importantly, Rowleigh will also have a halfback to work with. For years, Manning has revolutionized offensive playmaking by consistently playing Merritt Parkin as a fullback. Now, however, he has a viable halfback to start: Kelvin Somerset, a recent graduate of Mark Daniel University. The entire offense will look different, but the key is that Manning and Rowleigh have every option at their disposal. Scoring points will not be an issue for this Explorers team.

The Guardians game will be a sort of coming-of-age ceremony for Somerset, who played college ball in Bartewick and will have many fans turning out to see him. What does he think of the upcoming match? "Gotta go out there and prove yourself, right? We out to win every game, but I gotta show my stuff, bro. Can't win without scoring points, right?" He yelled out a "HOOO!" as he sprinted out the runway to the field of the practice facility where the Citiz are undergoing last-minute training before taking on the Guardians.

As Manning watched Somerset, he said, "You just can't get that intensity on the road."
