Rather than sending out invites and waiting for them to be accepted or declined, I am simply opening a sign up thread.
Ideally, I would like to see 32 teams but can work with more or less as the need may be. That assumes anyone wants to participate at all.
Signing up first is not a guarantee of acceptance. Traditional participants and rivalries will be given first consideration. As I am the host, I reserve the right to set who plays. That being said, I am sure that I can make room for almost anyone with the only real exceptions being to fit logical formats.
More info on where teams will play will be posted after sign ups are closed and the draw announced.
KPB ranks will be used as a base but they will be adjusted for certain aspects of the entries. If a nation sends its "B" squad or All-stars KPBs will change somewhat. If a nation sends a squad of drunk homeless players or prison inmates (all of which have been done before) they change even more drastically.
Ans example: TBI's "B" side would almost definately be worse than any top 30 starting 11. An all star domestic squad would likely see world rankings somewhere in between that and their "A" squad. A squad of Vegan accountants would be hard-pressed to beat anyone ranked at all.
but make no mistake, this is an RP tournament and RP is healthily rewarded.
