Our next race is the World 600, and I'm gonna try this whole streaming thing again, hopefully with sound (and some very poor attempts at lap-by-lap coverage) this time. Coverage will kick off at 9:00PM with Happy Hour and then the World 600 immediately following.

So, anyone guess how long this race will take? Pocono was about four hours, I think this one will be over four hours.

Here's the link to the streaming site: WSPN. The replay of the last race is still up if you haven't looked at it yet.

World 600 results have been posted. Who won: was it The Mayor, or Lake Speed for their third victory? Or was it the Funkmaster for his first? Who had a gearbox failure less than ten laps into the race? How many cars were involved in the first caution? Was Aquni Hyu'Tojerii fastest in the first practice session (yes, she was)? Click HERE to find out!

Another possibility here, we could, perhaps have an RP thread, just for fun. As it isn't scorinated we won't have any bonuses from it, but at least we can have some fun writing off the result! :p

Sure, ya'll can do that on this thread here or over in the Int'l Domestic Racing Thread. Or both! For those that have drivers I think it's be great to hear their reactions and impressions on how they performed and on other drivers, as well as sponsor expectations, etc. etc.

Okay, Peach State Raceway didn't have enough pitstalls for 32 drivers, so their race went to the Big Walker Mountain Classic at the Big Walker Mountain Speedway in southwest Virginia. The results of that race have been posted!

It ended up being a 150 lapper, but there was still some quality racing.

The next race is the Congaree 500 at the Columbia Speedway. It's another short track! Can the Funkmaster win again, or will another driver step up for his or her first win? Will one of the foreign drivers finally break through? We'll see after 500 laps!

The Rebel 500 will begin shortly, on the "current configuration". Hopefully, future races will be run in the old configuration (where the current turns 1&2 are turns 3&4). Can we get another first time winner? We'll see after 500 laps!

results will be posted in the morning,

...and for some reason my body think right now is morning. Results posted soon. Immediately following will be the E. Merle Whitt Memorial 500!

The E. Merle Whitt Memorial 200 is about to begin! I'll record highlights and post them up. And Justin.tv kinda sucks, so I'll be looking for something else on the broadcasting end

it's all good.

I will say that at the track we're at, Dublin Speedway (basically the Salem Speedway) we may see some cautions arise during green flag pitstops as cars enter and exit the pits. We saw some in practice, where Aindreas Siosalach actually flipped after getting t-boned in turn 3

Here we go! Green flag pit stops! the leaders are in!

No cautions, but a lot of close calls exiting the pits!

Simo Hayha is your current leader, but he and a few other cars may have to make another pit stop late in the race to make it to the end. Everyone who pitted before lap 100 will also have to pit again; everyone who pitted after lap 100 will be able to make it to the end, for now it seems.

And the Deep Springs 250 has switched with the Myrtle Beach 250. After Myrtle Beach we'll be back at Daytona for the Firecracker 400!

Points Totals and results up to the Firecracker 400 will be posted soon

He's been close, North Wilkesboro was his best, and the World 500 at the Texas World Speedway could be anybody's race. We're only halfway through the season, so there's plenty of time to crack into the win column
