Same for me. The consolation for both of us is that all 4 of our teams managed to get into the knockouts, including one of mine which had to qualify!

The frst game of the BC for the Apples, it was an easy game played out in front of 57,000 at the Rotterdam Sports arena. Rotterdam played fast, attacking rugby which the Pirates couldn't handle. Scrum Half Lewis Steyn ran in with two tries either side of half time, including a brilliant solo effort from Rotterdam's 22m line. Jan Berek was on good form today, kicikng all his goals, and Robert Rijnholt kiced the long goals. All in all, a great start for the Apples.

I have some ranks for you at long last. There might be a few odd results working through the system until I get five editions done, until that point expect the max rank to increase. In particular these look incredibly harsh on Cotdelapoms (I mean, really), but things should level out by the sixth edition.

Entries for the next edition of the Barsteeg Championship will be cut off at MIDDAY GMT on SUNDAY 4th of DECEMBER, once again, nations will be allowed to enter FOUR teams, with the exception of the Croix Bleue Premiership who will enter SIX. Don't expect things to always be this way however, if I see a raft of increased entries I'll be changing that.

In two weeks? If that's the case I'll be running the same method CH does with UICA, in that you can submit unscorinated entrants every other cycle, otherwise they won't be accepted.
