Welcome to the most interesting waste of time ever devised!

Yes, this is for purchasing military equipment for your nation. It's a sort of roleplay. Some of us like to create our own military hardware rather than use something from the Real World, and you can find all manner of military and other stuff for sale in the storefront threads in the GE&T (Global Economics and Trade) area. This particular storefront is for PT (ie Past Tech) military vehicles and suchlike. The Alliance Armaments MT storefront contains my MT (Modern Tech) hardware.

Basically, if you want to, you can roleplay your nation a bit by purchasing stuff on the NS global market. But there's no need to if you don't want to. If you want to say your nation uses Su-37 fighters and T-84 tanks, you can just say that it does and be done.
