At this point, the airport has only a single airline that takes tourists to it. When the tourists arrive, they must stay at the hotel, which is reasonably expensive, for a week. Thus every customer of the airline generates more money for the company.

I don't think so. With enough customers paying enough money, it is financially viable. Plus bankruptcy is not too bad. Donald Trump goes bankrupt every other year. With enough investment from outside companies, the enterprise would be profitable. Thus a partnership with Winian Airlines, thus lowering the upfront cost of the airline part would be mutually beneficial. More money for WinianAir, more profit for the hotel.

Yes, but you have to understand: Travelers want choice. You said they have to stay at the hotel, which was an expensive one. That deters travelers, leaving you with only the high-expectation rich. So, you don't have enough customers. But, in theory, in the chance that you attract the so called "super rich", you may milk enough cash from them to just barely stay afloat.
