HT-101 Series of Vehicles (Hurtful Thoughts)

Basics
Engines: 850 Hp diesel
Crew: 2/3+10 internally (varies)
Land speed: Limited to 55 mph (for safety, can be overridden to go faster in emergencies)
Water speed: 7 Knots
Range: Up to 400 Miles (drops based on weight of vehicle)
Cost: Approximately $750,000 US and up
Turrets all cost: $90,000 US on their own.

A versatile, and capable vehicle platform, it mounts many different turrets, and is known to accept dozens of turrets from various different manufacturers.

Ballistics Report:
Note: 0.50 cal Bullets only penetrate 50 mm RHAe at point blank.

Bottom front hull nearly impenetrable to all known KE weapons due to bulldozer blade, transmission, front mounted engine, and angle of plate.

Although the upper Glacis plate only presents a deflection of 36.8 degrees, at a 45 degree quartering shot, this plate has a deflection of 55.5 degrees, increasing the effectiveness of this plate by x2.25, and a fatal shot may be completely avoided by turning the tank 45 degrees to the left in the event of a head on assault.

The upper side plate is well angled at 45 degrees giving a thickness modifier of x2 while a quartering shot presents a 60-degree deflection with a thickness modifier of x5. The lower portion is doubled up and carries a space approximately 6” wide, this adds storage, floatation, or additional armor. And is estimated to be capable of 22” (550 mm) RHAe against KE, more against CE weapons.

The Achilles heel appears to be the rear plate, with 26 and 47 degree shot deflections, and limited to 3” kevlar composite with silicone carbide ballistic inserts. Angle modifier is only x1.1.

HT-101 'Vanquish' Basic Version

HT-101-72 SPAAG

Mounting the 72mm Gun, and a coaxial 12.7mm AA gun, with the additional 50mm of applique armour, it uses buckshot rounds to throw flechettes into the air, forcing aircraft to stay high enough to be taken down with missiles or be shredded by the 72mm gun.

With the QZM-4058C 'Star Dance' RADAR tracking unit, it is ensured a hit. Also a useful weapon if light tanks approach.

$900,000 US

HT-101-75 Light Tank

With a crew of 4, and storage space for 100 rounds of various types and the equivalent of 100mm of RHA armour via ceramic plates and steel appliques, this version is useful as a light tank.

$850,000 US

HT-101-90 Light Tank

With a crew of 4, storage space for 75 rounds, a thermal imaging system using the Luna IR illumuinator, a mechanical targeting computer, and the equivalent of 100mm RHA of applique armour.

$900,000 US

HT-101-100 or HT-101-105 Medium Tank

Firing the now underpowered 100mm or 105mm gun, it can tear light tanks to shreds, and significantly damage MBTs. It has a crew of 4, storage space for up to 60 rounds, night-vision equipment, a thermal imaging system using the Luna IR illuminator, a mechanical targeting computer, and the equivalent of 100mm RHA of applique armour. It is shipped with primitive generation I ERA armour at no additional cost, provides an additional 25mm RHAe against kinetic penetrators, and 65mm against HE rounds.

$950,000 US

HT-101-120 or HT-101-125 Heavy Tank

Replacing HT-101-100s in Mafia Service, the HT-101-120 or 125 refers to its gun bore. It now mounts a 120mm or 125mm gun with a 7.62mm Coaxial gun, an additional 200 RHAe of composite armour, and Konkact-5 Advanced ERA.

A 1094 hp diesel engine maintains the original speed and propels the significantly heavier vehicle.

It has a crew of 4, storage space for up to 40 rounds, night-vision equipment, a thermal imaging system using the Luna IR illuminator, and an electronic targeting computer.

$1,150,000 US

HT-101-106 Tank Destroyer

Using the turret of left over Ontos tank destroyers, the HT-101-106 mounts 6 105mm (106mm was the name given so as not to confuse quartermasters) recoiless rifles, and a laser rangefinder, and electronic targeting computer. This gives the HT-101-106 the ability to fire 6 105mm shells at once at a target, ensuring its complete destruction. The gun must be loaded from the rear, and thanks to the fact that the HT-101-106 is longer than the Ontos, a crew equipped with simple masks to avoid inhaling too much diesel fumes can reload it while standing on the tank. The sides have been equipped with rails for this situation.

$975,000 US

HT-101-120M Self-Propelled Mortar

With a crew of five and an open rear to fire the 120mm mortar, the HT-101-120M can rapidly bring devastating artillery fire to the enemy. It comes with room for 50 rounds, and 50mm of applique armour. Also includes a secondary .50 calibre gun.

$775,000 US

HT-101-122R Multiple Rocket Launcher

Using the BM-21's turret, it combines the heavy armour of the HT-101 and the devastating power of Katyusha rockets. Can quickly saturate a target while remaining safe within its armour plating. Includes a .50 calibre self defense weapon.

$800,000 US

Longboat-EK Class Battlecruiser

A powerful multirole Battlecruiser designed to face all modern threats, whether it is swarms of Torpedo boats, or lesser capital ships. It is designed to be able to outsmart its enemies and outgun, torpedo, missile, and anything in between.

This hull is now going to become the major surface combatant for both the Northern Baltic Navy, Leocardian Navy, and the Glorious Republican Navy. Though in Leafanistani Service it is called the Motherland-class Battlecruiser.

Stealth System

Very basic stealth to help reduce RADAR signature include angled surfaces and as much of the outer bits integrated into superstructure. Thousands of gallons of sea water is run around the ship to spread out as much of the heat created by the reactor away to reduce thermal signature.

Armament System

The ship has probably the most interesting combination of weapons designed. There is a triple 250mm cannon to take care of big threats such as other battleships or even the dreaded dreadnought. It also carries a dual 140mm Automatic Cannon to shred smaller ships. The side mounted dual 40mm Autocannons will take care of torpedo boats or even helicopters. The missile system, uses the Russian Cold Launch Revolving VLS to support massive amounts of missiles.

The rockets on the antisubmarine armament, complement the contact mortars which are far more effective than traditional depth charges as they don't cloud SONAR if they miss.

Defense System

The inaccuracy of the Phalanx, Goalkeeper and other similar CIWS systems are well known and it requires a new weapon to throw at the enemy ship. The Sea Dart Missile, performed admirably during the Second Gulf War shooting down an antishipping missile.

Augmented with smoke and chaff launchers, it can distract and confuse enemy missiles. Its superstructure is designed to reflect RADAR away to help reduce RADAR signature and make it easier for countermeasures to defeat the missiles. The LDM-009 "Landmark 9" Fire Control Computer is linked with the CLM-01 Common Laser Module Laser Disturber, which is designed to blind both missiles and human targets. The LDM-009 is locked into the integrated defense system but can also be adjusted to autotarget enemy ship's bridges and even human targets on the land.

Finally a very simple form of defense is that the heavily reinforced windows on both the bridges and any of the infrared-visible sensors are shielded against attack with Laser Disturbers. The bridge windows have sensors that will trigger a set of 30mm aluminium blinds to fall over the windows. Any other sensors that could be blinded can detect an overload and will shut itself off.

Aircraft

A below deck hanger can hold and maintain up to 2 helicopters or small VTOL aircraft. UAVs/UCAVs may be launched from this platform.

Homeland-EK class Battleship

Is a significant upgrade of the Homeland-E class Battleship with the rear turret removed to make room for more UAVs and missiles. Much of the superstructure has been cleaned up significantly and new cooling mechanisms have been installed to draw away heat from the steam stacks and reactor housing to reduce thermal signatures. New, modern reactors, while more expensive are smaller, have a smaller thermal signature and don't require antiquated equipment. They can now take advantage of modern factories and toolings and are built much faster and cheaper.

The weapons systems have been retooled to use entirely Chinese and Russian equipment. The missiles are the closest Chinese equivalents to the western Harpoon and Tomahawk cruise missiles. The C-802 has a dual seeker including a thermal signature to defeat RADAR jamming and this version incorporates GPS/GLONASS guidance that can be used in a limited land attack role. The DH-10 is very similar to the Kh-55 and overall has similar capabilities to the Tomahawk.

The new exterior layer has a thin layer of a wood/fiberglass composite used on the La Fayette class frigate as RAM making the countermeasures much better. The -EK version also addresses another problem with the original -E version which was lack of submarine countermeasures, antiair measures and poor integration between weapons systems. The LDM-009N "Landmark 9 Naval" along with the CLM-01 Common Laser Disturber Module (collectively called the A30B-09N complex) upgrade the Kashtan's system. New S-300PMU SAMs were installed that gave the -EK the ability to fend off airborne threats from a great distance.

Statistics:
Light Displacement: 42522 metric tons
Full Displacement: 53895 metric tons
Overall Length: 270 m
Waterline Length: 262 m
Maximum Navigational Draft: 12 m

The Griffincrest Corporation wishes to present the Mercury Class APC for sale in your store.

The Griffincrest Corporation is pleased to announce the creation of its first native built armored vehicle, the Mercury class LBT. The Mercury is meant to accel at fast desert warfare, and we have created it to defend our oil fields around the globe, as the environments around them are becoming increasingly more and more violent.

This was what we said when it first came out, and its purpose is no different today than it was all that time ago, albeit it is no longer termed an LBT, and is now an APC. In the increasingly hostile world of today, there is no telling how, when, where, or why a nation will destabilize and fall into chaos. The Mercury was created with the intention of keeping this chaos away from Griffincrest Oil Fields, and ensuring that all members of the Corporation are safe behind the gates of their fields. With the Mercury on constant patrols in Griffincrest facilities world-wide, oil is now that much safer, and that much less likely of falling into the wrong hands.

Armament

The Mercury is armed with a variety of weapons, and is capable of dealing with any ground based threat that is sent in its way. Its primary weapon is a Griffincrest manufactured 30mm autocannon. The ammunition of the autocannon is the 30mm depleted uranium armour piercing round, givining the Mercury the ability to hold its own and even destroy MBT's fielded by many of the world's military forces today.

The secondary armament of the Mercury is a powerful Asgarn 12.7mm machine gun mounted coaxially to the main gun. The primary purpose of the Asgarn is to assist the crew in aiming the larger 30mm, but this weapon is powerful also enough to slice through most lightly armoured vehicles, and allows the crew to save ammunition for the 30mm gun by not having to expend it on trying to find the target, or on lighter targets. The Asgarn also gives a massive firepower boost especially when engaging infantry, and also gives the Mercury a form of defense when faced with low flying helicopters.

There is also a pintle mounted Otagian designed Griffincrest manufactured M32 Light Machine Gun positioned on the Mercury as a supplementary weapon, which gives the vehicles an even bigger edge when facing hostile ground troops, and can assist the Asgarn in keeping helicopters from tearing up a Mercury formation.

The final bit of munition for the Mercury comes from its ancillary weapon, which is two 76 mm smoke and fragmentation grenade launchers. These provide cover for not just the Mercury itself, but also for the men who are fighting around it by allowing them to have the cover of a smokescreen or by pummeling their enemies with fragmentation grenades.

Fire Control

The very first Mercury to roll out of protection was not equipped with any sort of fire control, and relied on your basic point and shoot method of firing. This problem, however, was very quickly taken care of. Shortly after the Mercury was opened up to the public, the Quincy Mining Company, out of Alcona & Hubris stepped up with a solution to the problem.

Quincy Mining realized that the Mercury was designed for use by minimally trained security personnel, and so did not attempt to sell any form of complicated fire control device. Instead, they presented Griffincrest with a simple infra-red targeting system. The addition of this system greatly improved the accuracy of the Mercury, especially at night, and has been credited with the reason behind the vast majority of the Mercury's combat kills world wide.

Armour

The Mercury does lack in armour thickness considerably, having only 60mm of armour on it. This problem, however, is helped considerably by the fact that add-on armour is available, and is used on almost every Mercury in the Griffincrest Security Force.

A mine protection kit and an NBC protection kit, made up of an overpressure system are available, and fire and explosion suppression systems come installed on all of the vehicles.

APC-01 Hermes Armored Personal Carrier

Orbit International LLC, a maker of small boats and the Charon class Destroyer Escort, is pleased to announce the creation of its first armored vehicle, the APC-01 Hermes. The Hermes is meant to excel at fast desert and urban warfare, and has been created to defend countries around the globe, as the environments around are becoming increasingly more and more violent. The Hermes has already seen service on the battlefield under a variety of different flags including some very controversial ones.

In the increasingly hostile world of today, there is no telling how, when, where, or why a nation will be attacked, destabilized and fall into chaos. The Hermes was created with the intention of keeping this chaos away. With the Hermes on constant patrols worldwide it has ensured the safety of perhaps millions.

Armament

The Hermes is armed with a variety of weapons, and is capable of dealing with any ground based threat that is sent in its way. Charon-EK Class Destroyer Escort (Orbit International LLC)

Designed by a Confederate defense firm for the protection of oil tankers from raiders, the Charon Class has proved itself a powerful small ship that is overflowing with weapons. Its torpedoes, guns and missiles provide a powerful triad of destruction that will shred any ship attempting to attack your valuable assets. On the downside, it is hard to maneuver due to its tall stature and heavy armaments and its engines are highly polluting for its design and produce a thick smoke screen without the aid of additives. The armor design is very Confederate with an exterior layer of Tungsten reinforced Steel with a Boronated Steel interior.

This is the -EK version that's been equipped with an upgraded defense suite containing the CLM-01 along with the LDM-009 "Landmark 9" Fire Control Computer along with the Kashtan-LK Defense Suite. It has 2 AK-630 30mm Gatling Guns along with 2 SA-N-4 launchers. The CLM-01 is becoming a very common sight and can be used to counter missile seekers by overloading either it's laser guidance or infrared guidance. However a growing amount of sailors are now training on how to use the manual override to blind helicopter pilots, enemy bridges, and people on the shore.

Specifications:

Role(s): Fleet Defense/Destroyer Escort/Littoral Enforcement

Displacement: 1,480 Metric Tons
Length: 97.36 Meters
Beam: 12.53 Meters
Powerplant: 6x Orbit International LLC Diesel Engines (25,000 SHP; 2 Shafts)

I thought you might like a picture of the battle vespa.

Image

I would like to note that this is not a mock up, not only is this a real vehicle but it really works and actually saw action in a war. just type in, vespa TAP 50, and go to the images tab. then click this pic, and look up the battle it suggests.

ar-550 conscript rifle[/u]

janelanf would like to buy one hundred rifles

As part of the bottom line family of weapons Katana Corporation has produced, the AR-550 conscript stands out as one of the most successful. While the BR-545 has gained notoriety as a good entry rifle for hunters, the AR-550 has proved itself in Helexo and various other skirmishes over oil.

It is of a similar design except slightly shorter, as the assault rifle doesn't require the degree of accuracy that the battle rifle requires. It uses a 50 round magazine because of its status as a spray and pray weapon.

The body is mainly polymer construction with a rifled carbon-steel barrel and the remainder are stamped steel parts. It resists rust, and can be left submerged for long periods of time, dried and fired.

It is a bullpup rifle with a side loading magazine with downward ejecting casings. Unusual yes, but it allows easy firing within a vehicle, reduced muzzle blast, and an overall smaller footprint with the same barrel length.

Choose Caliber: 5.45*39mm Russian or 5.56 NATO (default) or 5.8mm Chinese
Action: Kalashnikov Gas System
Weight: 2.2 kg (with empty magazine without bayonet); 2.5 kg (with loaded magazine)
Length: 675 mm
Rate of fire: 510 rounds per minute
Magazine capacity: 50 rounds
Effective range: 250 m (area target)

185 USD
