Speechouse, one of Sophisticism's most popular newspapers, has published an article regarding mail companies in the state.
"Following new legislation, the government recently relinquished its monopoly on the mail service. This means we, the citizens, now have the ability to choose with which company to send our mails", was written in the article.
"With that being said", continued the author, Deli McKinzy, "The government will keep financially supporting Sophisticated MailTM, making sure anyone, wealthy or not, would have access to this essential service, the mail service".

That's right, Sophisticated MailTM is not alone in the market, putting us in financial problems. We are still seeking countries to use our services, for info regarding opening a Sophisticated MailTM branch in your country please see our website, http://www.mail.dis or http://www.mail.gov.dis.

OOC: That issue came just in time, a great opportunity for me to make a more interesting bump!

Sir,
Although usually not doing one letter orders, it depends on how much you will pay. We could deliver it to anyone, anywhere in the world for the right amount of money.

Thank you very much for your request.
A Sophisticated MailTM cargo aircraft will land in Novus Niciae once daily, taking all packages and mails to the Mail House in Sophisticism, where all letters will be sent to their final destination around the world.
The plane will also leave packages for The Royal Mail to deliver within Novus Niciae.

*A note to citizens sending messages to or from Novus Niciae: you are required to buy two separate stamps, one Sophisticated MailTM and one Royal Mail, each costing differently. The Sophisticated MailTM stamp will cover the international delivery while the Royal Mail stamp will pay for the delivery to or from the sorting centre.
Thank you for the co-operation.

Sophisticated MailTM goes one step forward towards the future:
over 100,000 barcode machines have been placed next to mailboxes worldwide (in Sophisiticism, Satirus, Shaff and Allanea).
These machines will, in the short coming future, replace stamps! A letter would be inserted to the machine (which has different sized holes for all letter types), together with the right amount of money (depending on the requested service). The machine will print a barcode on the letter and move it to the mailbox.
In our sorting centres, where the mails arrive after picked up from the mailboxes, automatic machines will read the barcodes and put the letters in the appropriate delivery (depending on its final destination).

This new exciting service will shorten the sorting time, and therefore the delivery time of letters by up to 20%.

Stamps will still be available, as collector items, but delivery time for stamped letter will be slightly longer.

Sophisticated MailTM. Fast, safe, reliable.
Advancing, for you.

To: Mr. Harrison Grant, Forza Automotive Group.
From: Chi'ao Oxford, Sophisticated MailTM CEO.

Dear Mr. Grant,
I am happy to say we have accepted your request.
We will open a delivery centre in any city you have branches in, meaning we need a 3x3 metre room in any of your offices serving large cities (in order to sort deliveries, ensuring fast and reliable service). Our employees will drive themselves to any smaller city whenever a delivery is required.

Due to the large amount of deliveries a company your size requires, we will charge only 75% of the original cost (depending on the required delivery time and package weight and the destination).
This means that, for example, delivering a one kilogram package (3 days delivery) will cost your company only $4.353 instead of $5.805 (price includes insurance).

Thanks for your request,
Hoping for many years of cooperation,
Chi'ao Oxford, Sophisticated MailTM CEO.

That is excellent news. Postage costs will be paid by our customers through us, so when the customer purchases an item, the postage charge will be included in the bill, we forward on the bill to Sophisticated Mail.

Rooms in each of our HQ buildings in each market can be made available, as well as smaller rooms in some of our larger dealerships. We expect Sophisticated mail to deliver roughly 700,000 packages per year to each of our 42 export markets. Packages can weigh anywhere from 250 gram sattelite navigation systems and rearview cameras to 400kg replacement engines and transmissions.

Kind Regards

Forza HQ

Mr. Marboza,
Unfortunately, your request is unacceptable.
You want us to open a branch in Abanhfleft, build up the network, train the local employees and then simply leave?
I don't want to sound harsh, sir, but this is ridicules.

Thanks for understanding,

Formally, you don't need any of this to set up shop here, we generally don't put much in the way of limits on commerce.

b]Country name[/b]: Most Serene Republic of Vox Libertatem (or, more correctly: "The Voice of Liberty in the Most Serene Republic" or "Vox Libertatem in Maxima Serena Re-Publica", but everyone just calls it "Vox Libertatem").
Name of Leader or Financial Minister: Uhm, we don't have a single leader, the main leaders are the Triumvirate.... and I guess I'm economics minister for the purposes of this sort of thing, though if you're looking for treasury you'd have to talk to Amanda Antonia Octavia, the national Quaestor.
Population: 178 million and growing
Local currency and exchange rates (USD): Denarius Liber (D.L.), floats between $2.50 and $3.75, usually settles around $3.20. 1 Denarius Liber = 4 Sestertii = 16 Asses = 64 Quadrantes (plural of Denarius Liber is Denarii Libri; singular of the rest are Sestertius, As, Quadrans).
Post Offices to be opened (please state the number separately for each city): as many as you want.
Any other notes? Not really...

Sir,
Your request is more than acceptable, and we'll be happy to expand to The Voice of Liberty in the Most Serene Republic.
We'll start off building 10,350 post offices in the state, and more will be built as the population, and therefore demand, grows.

I will personally depart to Vox Libertatem next month to see how the building of our network in the state goes.

Thank you for choosing Sophisticated MailTM!

Signed,
