LETA INTERNATIONAL SUMMIT [OPEN]

Welcome to the LETA Trade summit, where all member nations of the LETA gather to talk about trade and global security. The main points of the summit are as follows:

1-How can we improve LETA trade and investment?
2-What kind of international partnerships can we work toegether on?
3-How can we maintain peace throughout the globe?
4-How can we improve friendship between the LETA nations?
5-Shall we make a footballing event between the LETA?

I think that we should create a business where all of use get a stake in, so even if we only get a few customers everyone will still beifit so like everyone gets like a 10% stake, but everyone has to put up money, and premote it so everyone would benefit for example if someone made a purchase of 1,000,000 dollars each person would get 100,000 for their nation and their economy, in the first post, there could be a spoiler where at shows the nations involved and under that shows how much each nation has made (I.e 10% of the total profit) I think this would be a good idea because it would improve everyone's economy.

I believe USOS is onto something, but I have another Idea. We have propositions for answering questions 1 and 3/4. Since I like the idea of mantianing order, I suggest we start with #1.

A present to you the idea of the LETA Trade Hub. This would be a hub, where members and non-members alike can come together to trade, invest, and mingle. I would work in the way where members can create business, and then those business are listed under their respective catigories. This way it provide everyone with a quick and easy way to find business that they need. It could also act in the same way for listing serivces like the USOS/Tobiasian space-tourism, business thingy. It could also be a place where nations can advertise deals, and sales, along with partnerships in business. All of ther above is free to members of the LETA, and non-members can pay a certian fine to advertise in the LETA Trade Hub, and use USOS' idea to benefit all members to an extent. Once we get big enough we can apoint members to run and moderate certian parts of the Trade Hub so Tobiasia ins't stressed to look over all of it(I can begin writing out some sort of Resolution if we're doing this UN style).

That's sounds like a great idea to me. But what I would like even more is if there was a monthly LETA football/soccer tournament only for LETA members. Just something to think about.

I am interested to hear more about Nations United for Conquest's idea. I hope that Nations United for Conquest can finish the resolution soon so I can evaluate it, before declaring agreement or disagreement. As my nation has high GDP but also trade deficit, I don't want to be hasty. I want LETA Trade Hub can give all nations such good impacts.

I also think we should make sister city program between our nations' cities. It can help us to maintain peace between LETA members, because it allows cultural exchange between nations which promotes mutual understanding.

Soccer tournament sounds fun to me, and Amouraland is interested to join, but I think there are other four important points to discuss.

The NUC's trade idea is very good, and if he can't/would prefer not to manage the hub, then I can. I agree with a RL monthly football tournament, the time space gives those unfamiliar with sports RP a way to study or practice RP for the coming game.

I propose, tying in with Amouraland's idea, that the LETA members co-fund / create a way (like an international, RP annual show) for students from each nation to see how LETA cooperates.

That wouldn't be a bad idea. I'm already in charge of the trade hub, if we continue football games, we oculd have an office for that, and since the summit doesn't really have to do with the nation it's located in, I don't see the need to rotate it unless everyone else wants to

I agree with the NUC representative, a trade hub would be the best way to improve the organization. As for maintaining peace, I propose this: LETA members offer discounts on DPRs at armament storefronts, especially those that are government-owned. %30 should be fair, and as my nation's motto says "peace from war." This would allow LETA member nations to produce more advanced weapons for defense, obviously. As for friendship, and your football event, I think the solution is clear: we should host a event with not only football, but many sports from around the globe. Then we can share our cultures and have a bit of friendly competition at the same time."
