Intended for export, the RPG-93 is a fairly conventional recoilless rifle similar to the that of the Carl-Gustaf M3 or RPG-29. It provides the user with a weapon capable of using multiple types of munitions, while maintaining superior accuracy at longer range compared to the RPG-7.
Using warheads 93mm in diameter, there exists several variations: -A standard HEAT warhead, penetrating up to 550mm of RHA -A Fragmentation warhead, with a lethal radius of 20m against flak vests -A tandem HEAT warhead, which penetrates up to 550mm of RHA behind ERA -A thermobaric warhead, with a lethal blast radius of 10m.
It can accept night vision/passive infrared sights, a low magnification optic or others due to a standard mounting system which can be mounted on either side of the launcher to accommodate right and left handed shooters, along with a detachable bipod.
The maximum range varies by munition type, however most will self destruct after about 1000m. Generally speaking, the saying "the closer the better" applies to all unguided anti tank weapons, however the RPG-93 has a 75% chance of hitting a stationary tank sized target at 350 meters with HEAT munitions. It's anti personnel warheads are more accurate and can be used at longer range, with the thermobaric warhead having the ability to be lobbed in a parabolic arc, due to it not having a self destruct mechanism.
