The Sparta A1 8x8 wheeled armored personnel carrier was originally developed by Atok Aerospace for Atok Land Force.
The Sparta A1 is one of the latest and most advanced APCs. The vehicle has a modular protection system. All-round protection of the steel armor is against 7.62-mm NATO rounds and artillery shell splinters. The front arc withstands 12.7-mm armor piercing-rounds. Add on ceramic-composite armor plates can be added to a higher level of protection. Maximum grade of all-round protection is against 14.5-mm armor-piercing rounds. The vehicle has a double V-shaped hull, which deflects mine blasts. It can resist up to 12 kg TNT explosion under the hull and the vehicle still keep on going. The vehicle is fitted with NBC protection system.
Sparta A1 in an APC configuration is armed with remotely controlled 40-mm automatic grenade launcher and PANTA-1 coaxial 7.62-mm machine gun. Alternatively it can be fitted with remotely-controlled 12.7-mm machine gun. This armored vehicle is also available in various turret-mounted armament configurations, but number of personnel carried is reduced. It is worth noting that the Sparta A1 has a modular top deck and its configuration can be shifted from anti-tank missile carrier to a 105-mm fire support vehicle.
This armored vehicle is outfitted with a battlefield management system, which provides situational awareness of the field of battle. Vehicle is powered by an AAe Moffart F45-G6 turbocharged diesel engine, releasing 450 hp. Engine is mounted at the front of the hull. The Sparta A1 has an exceptional mobility achieved using Atok Aerospace independent suspension system. It comes with a central tyre inflation system. The Sparta A1 can be airlifted by a C-130 Hercules or similar cargo aircraft.

PANTA-1 coaxial 7.62-mm machine gun
Lightweight and stabilised for better precision, AAe' PANTA-1 range of RWS can be mounted on tracked or wheeled armoured fighting or logistics vehicles. Remotely activated below deck or from a control console, the PANTA-1 offers protection for the operator as it is operated below deck. The PANTA-1 range includes variations mounted with numerous weapon combinations to meet different user requirements.
An additional technical feature of the system is the so-called gyroscopic stabilization, which permits an tremendously precise and controlled deployment of the weapons even throughout high-speed movement through uneven terrain. In addition, the stations permit a fast change in armament. The particular equipment range – from machine guns up to automatic grenade launchers – is automatically familiar, and the station adapts its ballistics accordingly.
Driver's Sight System
NACCOTech's "NG-100F" Driver's Sight System (DSS) composed of a Forward Thermal Camera, Rear Thermal Camera and Rear CCD Camera. DSS offers the driver 24-hour maneuvering capability under severe weather and unforgiving battlefield conditions, and the capacity to maintain continuous mission operations while providing a safe driving environment through improved situational awareness.
