About Us

Planet Green started out in 1999 in The Dominion of Florida, British Empire. Planet Green was founded to provide Florida, The British Empire, and the world; natural, non-GMO, organic, sustainable, humane, and artisanal food and beverages, as well as cider, beer, wine, clothing, books, homegoods, decor, plants and seeds, and much more!

All products sold by Planet Green meet our stringent standards. All of our products are non-GMO, and over 75% of them are organic; inclduing all of our produce. All of our meat is certified humanely-raised and is always vegetarian-fed. We carry many products which are handcrafted by artisans around the world. You won't find many of our products anywhere else. Planet Green believes in being one with the Earth, and selling the freshest, highest-quality, best, most-unique and delicious products from around the world!

Planet Green offers a wide array of food and beverage products in our Grocery Department. Enjoy everything from handcrafted artisanal organic local potato crisps/chips to organic fairtrade iced tea lemonade! We offer a wide array of our own store-brand producrs, as well as products from brands from our trusted suppliers. We carry organic versions of most products sold in our Grocery Department, and we also offer many fair-trade certified products especially in our chocolate and spice aisles! In addition, all products sold are certified non-GMO, meaning we don't sell any products made with genetic engineering!

We carry many varieties of artisanal, small-batch, microbrewed sodas in our Grocery Department. We also have a large selections of snacks from cheddar crackers to black truffle potato crisps, Himalayan pink salt tortilla chips, small-batch hard pretzels, crackers, biscuits and cookies, and many more delicious snacks!

We have everything to bake that bread you want to bake or that batch of "special brownies" you wanted to make. From fair-trade organic Madagascan vanilla to organic true cinnamon, and even sustainably-harvested fair-trade certified organic small-batch cocoa powder and humanely harvested yeast! We have all your baking needs!

We have a large condiment section. We have such artisanal, hip condiments as sriracha, aioli, vegan mayonnaise, organic cage-free organic mayo, harissa, wasabi mayo, brown sauce, soy sauce, etc.

We also have a large selection of beverages! From artisanal handcrafted microbrewed soda, to organic fair-trade tea, fair-trade Rainforest Alliance-certified hot chocolate, organic 100% real fruit juices, and much more!

Meats

Here at Planet Green we really care about meat. All of our meat is never given growth hormones or antibiotics; because we care about the health of our customers and the animals that make our food. We have a wide-array of meats available! Meats such as chicken, turkey, beef, pork, lamb, veal, duck, bison, and wild boar. Our veal is humanely-raised and certified, like all of our meat. Our veal is never kept in gestation crates, ever. Our chicken and turkey are "free-range"; meaning that they get to go outside like their supposed to do. Our beef is also pasture-raised; and we have a wide array or grass-fed, grain-fed, organic, dry-aged, Kobe, wagyu, and other beef available.

Our pork, like all our other meats is vegetarian-fed; meaning that your sausage isn't a cannibal sausage. Who wants cannibal sausage? Ew. We carry a wide-array of pork; from heritage-breeds like Berkshire pork, to finely-marbled pork, lean pork, and even the famed and trendy Mangalitsa. The Mangalitsa is a Hungarian breed of pig that almost went extinct; but it is now experiencing a renaissance due to it's high-quality, well-marbled meat. The Mangalitsa is one of the few breeds of pork that has fur; similar to a sheep. We hope that you try this unique, chic, delicious pork!

Now onto our "Charcuterie". We have a large selection of the finest handcrafted artisanal sausage, bacon, deli meats, hams, proscuitto, speck, and much more. Of course all of our Charcuterie products are made with love and with our high-quality, humane-certified meat. With our sausages, we have everything from the trendy Chorizo, the classic Banger, the ballparl favourite hot dog or frankfurter, the barbecue favourite Bratwurst, and German classics like Bockwurst, Knackwurst, Weisswurst, Currywurst, liverwurst, etc. We also have British classics such as White Pudding, Black Pudding, Cumberland Sausage, Chipolata, Red Pudding, and more. We also have Frencn sausage like Boudin, and Andouille. We have Spanish and Mexican-style Chorizo, in dry, fresh, precooked, and ground form. To cater to our Halal customers, we carry a wide-array of lamb sausages and bacon such as the trendy Merguez; which tastes great in a baguette with some harissa.

For our Kosher customers, we carry chicken and turkey sausages, as well as turkey, beef and veal bacon.

Now onto our Bacon selection. Bacon has been quite popular bacon. We have streaky bacon; which is most people's favourite. Streaky Bacon comes from Pork Belly (which we sell a lot of), and is very popular in many countries. We have Back Bacon, which is a leaner and healthier bacon that comes from Pork Loin with a littlr bit of Streaky Bacon on the end of the rasher. We have Middle Bacon, which has Streaky and Back Bacon; and is considered by many to be "the best of both worlds". We have regular flavour bacon, Maple, Pepper, Barbecue, Double-Smoked, Ale, Stout, Brown Sauce, Wiltshire-Cure, Unsmoked, and many more varieties and flavors of bacon. We also sell Lardons; which are little cubes of fatty bacon, especially good for cooking with. We have Pancetta, which is similar. We have Guanciale; which is an Italian-style bacon made from Pork Cheek.

Planet Green has a large selections of artisanal cheese and dairy products from around the world. From Stilton to Brie; we have almost every cheese imaginable. We carry cow's milk, goat's milk, sheep's milk, and buffalo's milk cheeses. All of our cheeses are all natural; and they never are processed cheese food! We have hard cheeses such as Parmagiano Regiano and Pecorino Romano. Soft cheeses like Brie and Camembert; as well as the spectacular Fromage d'Affinois. We have semisoft cheeses such as the classic mozzarella, imported buffalo mozzarella and fresh mozzarella that is handmade in store. We also have the classics like Cheddar, Provolone, Munster, Monterey Jack, Pepper Jack, and more. British favorites like Stilton, West Country Cheddar, Lancashire, Double Gloucester, and many more British cheeses. Planet Green offers a large selection of artisanal, gourmet dairy products from around the world. We have everything from artisanal organic Greek Yogurt to non-homogenised grassfed milk. We also carry a selection of raw milk; so you can enjoy milk the way nature intended.
