Overview

Hawk Company was formed in the Fall of 2016 by Brigadier General Arnold Smith following the Cpuernian War (2015). Hawk Company was originally made up of ex-Sea Serpents (another PMC group) and ex-Eemerian Military Officers. From 2016-2022 they served solely as a bodyguard type group and a majority of the time served Middle Eastern businessmen. Shortly after that they expanded and were bought out by the Dresden Group who incorporated them into their global organization in 2027.

History

Brig. General Arnold Smith served in the 1st Expeditionary Force during the Anean Continental War, 2nd Vernin uprising, and the Cpuernian war. He was promoted to Brigadier General towards the end of the Cpuernian war after being one of the most important soldiers in the force. As the war was winding down tensions grew in the Expeditionary Force over their prolonged occupation of Cpuernia regardless of the fact that the nation had been rebuilt (as of 2015). Smith was one of the three generals who petitioned publicly to have the 1EF withdrawn from Cpuernia after their 4 year stay in the country. The Eemerian Chiefs of Staff saw this is public insubordination and they were given an ultimatum...resign from the military with full honors or be branded a traitor and thrown out of the ranks. The three of them not wanting their future careers to be tarnished resigned from the military on a good note and parted ways with their military careers. Arnold Smith went back into the finance business with his father before he was approached by two ex-Sea Serpents Lieutenants who had retired from the PMC business. They had heard of his military background and wanted his help in forming their own PMC Company. Therefore the Hawk Company was born. For the first few months it only consisted of twelve members who were contracted in pairs to be bodyguards for wealthy businessman overseas. Following the official end of the Cpuernian occupation hundreds of soldiers were out of jobs so they came to Hawk Company and increased their numbers to 724. This was when Hawk Company went global and was bought by the Dresden Group. That brings us to present day where Hawk Company is currently 1.2 Million strong and operating globally for nations and companies alike.

Hawk Company uses the standards of the Eemerian AWU (Advanced Warfare Division) to train their soldiers. They use modern day and historical tactics to ensure their soldiers are prepared for anything they throw at them. The training process follows the recruitment process at camps around the world. The training process is as follows.

Note after all members have the basic knowledge and have received their rank of Private 1st Class they must either choose a specialization or will stay as a basic infantrymen and will begin global operations under the direction of Hawk Officers.

Specialization Training: Varies
This part of the training will vary depending on your specialization and takes place in different locations around the world. Only 20% of members go on to a specialization path and only 10% of them finish the training.

After members receive their specialization they may either go into the field or continue learning different specializations. If a member completes all specialization trainings and earns the rank of Lt. Cl. in the company they may apply to the Elite program and if accepted begin elite training which takes around 8 months to complete.

Hawk Company can be deployed for a multitude of reasons. Some of the most common are listed below.

Security and Transportation: 17 Operators per every one VIP

Overview:
VIP S/T has been the companies specialization since their creation. They have served clients around the globe and are trained to handle any and all situations that could be encountered on the field. The teams consist of 4 men pairs and are used to augment standard security used by the clients. Three of the team operate as on-field units and co-ordinate area security for the client. Usually one man is stationed with the President (All clients are referred to as Presidents for ease of communication) to ensure safety incase a situation breaks out. The other two perform patrol operations and operate in a 50 foot area around the President to ensure they are available if needed. The Fourth team member operates in an off-site communications room to ensure the protection of the President goes without a problem. The team works as a well oiled machine and train for at least 2 weeks before operations to ensure they know their President and their actions. They value the life of the President over their own and take their job as seriously as they possibly can. S/T operators go into the field knowing their client is more important then them and they will do anything to ensure their safety.

Equipment Used in the field by S/T:
The standard S/T operative is outfitted with the current military technology. They wear the Hawk Standard Uniform in grey. They are outfitted with Velison-4 HUD technology which ensures all data needed is streamed immediately. Unless stated otherwise S/T operatives are sent into the field with a Remington R5 rifle outfitted with a variety of the following attachments: ACOG Scope, VMR Sight, Muzzle Brake, Thermal Scope (for select operations), HTR Grip, and a variety of gun camouflages. A majority of the time operators carry a sidearm which varies from man to man. They are outfitted with two "frag" grenades each and 1 "flashbang." This is merely the standard outfit and varies from op to op. In most situations they use a Hawk Style Military Vehicle (much like an American "Humvee") which they use in convoy and transportation situations. They also use a variety of modern day technology to ensure the success of their mission and safety of their client.

Cost: One Week
One week S/T operation runs around 340,000 Nationstates standard dollars. If operators are to be used for an extended period of time different prices can be negotiated.

Hawk S/T operation being carried out by operators:

Capture and Elimination: Standard 5 man team

Overview:
In the business of PMC it is common to see soldiers used as hit squads or personal death squads, this is not the case with Hawk Company. We look down on execution style operations so we do not carry ourselves that way. Instead we accept these operations on a case by case basis. If we feel the target being requested is a threat to humanity or life in general then the case will be accepted and the operation carried out. If we feel the operation being requested is die to a personal issue we will not accept the case. These operators usually come out of the stealth and foreign relations programs as they tend to operate overseas instead of domestic locations. They train for a month following the subsequent planning of an operation to ensure there are no loose ends left after the mission. These missions are usually carried out by a team of 4-5 depending on the size and scope of it.

Equipment:
C/E operators usually use the same equipment as S/T operators but in a more stealth variety. They are outfitted with the latest in stealth technology and usually don "ghille" suits or Black (close to the elite variety) uniforms. Often they don urban uniforms to ensure they are not detected prior to the missions success. They don't tend to use vehicles/modular equipment unless it is strictly required.

Cost: One Operation
Due to the the danger of these operations the base fee for a mission is 1,000,000 Nationstates standard dollars. Due to the high cost of the base fee this will be valid for the whole operation (up to a one month mission).

Other then providing basic operations as seen above Hawk Soldiers can be rented out in different sized groups. These are listed below.

Police/Riot Control Operations: 500 Total Operators

Overview:
Hawk operators are trained in policing and riot standards so that they can be rented out to serve these functions if needed. This is often used in defunct nations who are going through mass strikes and protests or similar situations. These operators are trained to minimize civilian injury and stop protests in a peaceful manner. These operators are trained in how to handle situations if they get violent as well.

Equipment:
Police/Riot Operators wear the standard Hawk Armor in a blue variant. They often deploy riot shields and batons but are outfitted with a sidearm in case violence is required. They will also deploy water cannons to keep protesters under control if needed. They use a multitude of vehicles which range from squad cars to RCT-4's and even to VX Swat Trucks.

Cost: Per Month
Due to the mass amount of Operators needed to perform this service the cost starts at around 11,000,000. This number can be negotiated.



Counter-Insurgency/Terrorism Operations:

Due to the large amount of Hawk Operators the board of directors has opened the large group services division of Hawk PMC. Now we will not fight wars solely for a nation but we are willing to augment the said nations numbers to assist in driving off invaders or for whatever other reason. This being said we will only accept a contract if the amount of soldiers being requested is available and as long as it will only account for 35% or less of the Nations active military. These groups deploy true wartime tactics and use full scale military vehicles, MBT's APC's etc.
