Re: Bringing South Seas Sodas into Burgunden BreuPubs

Allistair Houghton,

We have been contemplating bringing in your line of sodas for some time, but wanted to make sure not to jeopardize the market for Jory Jory beverages, one of our major partners. We feel that Jory Jory is well established now, and that we would be able to serve both lines side by side and increase the beverage choices for our customers, considering the diverse taste and flavors offered by South Seas. We were mightily impressed by the effort, craft and science that went into your sodas while you were exhibiting them at the Alpen View Beer Festival, and felt that something of that magnificence deserved several spots in our coolers. We have enclosed an order, and we will look forward to a great future partnership.

Sincerely,

Stefan Germetz, BB VP of BreuPub Operations

Mr. Germetz,

South Seas Soda Company is honored to receive your communication regarding the addition of our beverages to the offerings available at your BreuPubs. We must say we are quite a fan of your restaurants, knowing from first hand experience that you strive to bring your customers the highest quality products. It would therefore be our pleasure to join the beverages of choice at the BreuPubs and allow for a greater diversity of non-alcoholic drinks at your establishments. We likewise respect the operations at Jory-Jory Bottling group, which we know has been a major partner for your company; it was this respect for both your company and Jory-Jory that has led to our hesitation in contacting you; it appears now that our traditional and tropical sodas can find a home at the same time as Jory-Jory's offerings. We would be well pleased to expedite this process.

We note your request for twelve cases each of twenty six flavors of our sodas, to be sent to each Burgunden BreuPub location for evaluation and test market purposes. We believe there is a diverse set of selections which we are certain your guests will love and enjoy. Your order has been processed and is marked for shipment to each various location; local deliveries should arrive within the next three to four business days.

It is a wonderful day indeed to gain greater international exposure through the beverage selections at Burgunden BreuPubs. We extend our gratitude for you business, and thank you for taking a soda holiday to the South Seas!

FARM, ORCHARD, AND GROVE APPLICATION
Nation where farm is located: The Colony of Radicchio
Farm name, if applicable: The Jessop Ranch
Number of acres available for South Seas Soda Company use: 121 acres
Type of use available (Annual lease or complete purchase): Complete Purchase
Projected price (per yearly lease or total for complete purchase): $2,100,000 NSD
Crops suitable for growing at this site: Oranges, lemons, limes, citron, clementine, grapefruit, kumquat, tangelo, and other citrus fruits.
Other considerations: This established 121 acre citrus orchard features 12 separate groves, each one with 10 acres of citrus fruit trees in good health. Their former owner (Roman Jessop) recently sold the property to Wexler Industrial (a parent company) who had intended to level the site and build an automotive test track facility I it's place. Unfortunately for us here at Wexler, locals living in the area protested the development of our automotive facility, favoring the Groves. After a decision by the Governors Council which restricted out ability to develop the site as planned, we see no choice but to offload the property at Market Value.

Dear sirs/madams:

South Seas Soda Company has received your message regarding a potential buyout of citrus grove operations in good regard. As our company continues to expand its global presence, thereby increasing demand for our beverages, it is of extreme prudence for our company to expand its supply lines accordingly. We have a great need for citrus fruit for use in our handcrafted sodas, particularly that of grapefruit as it features prominently in our Honey Citrus flavor. There is, of course, need for other citrus fruits as well in not only this soda but other sodas featured by South Seas Soda Company and other variants through our sister sodaworks which operate in various nations.

Reviewing your application, we note a number of things working in your favor. Firstly, we note that the property is already an established set of citrus groves. We find this of great importance since it not only verifies the land quality as able to produce excellent cultivars, but it also removes any transition time from our company to plant and cultivate tree specimens. Secondly, we believe the purchase price to be quite fair given its size and proclivity toward established production.

Therefore, we are pleased to inform you that this purchase has been approved by our leadership board. We have arranged our bank to wire the $2.1 million USD to your account.

Since it is difficult to find knowledgeable field workers from our Costa Alurian campus, we would be most interested in continuing to employ the groves' established workforce, at a fair and reasonable contract wage. We believe this would be the most efficient way of ensuring the groves receive the care they need, while also maintaining the local economy jobs and not displacing good workers.

We thank you so much for your contact, and extend our gratitude for helping us to supply the flavors of the South Seas!

Mr. Hugo:

South Seas Soda Company has received your application to open a soda brewery within Downtown Plato in good regard. As our company continues to expand its global presence, thereby increasing demand for our beverages, it is of extreme prudence for our company to expand its supply lines accordingly. As such, additional soda brewery space is of the utmost importance to our operations, allowing us to send shipments to new and existing markets with little delay.

As such, we are happy to inform you that this application has been approved. South Seas Soda Company would be honored to operate one soda brewery within Downtown Plato. Please note, however, that the operation of this brewery will remain the full responsibility of South Seas Soda Company. We wish to specify this as our research into the Hugo Trading Company does not produce great results; we are concerned about the Hugo Trading Company's lack of serious information on its storefront page. We further reserve the right to close down part or all of our brewery operations within Mythology Islands at any point in the future.

We will now begin the task of an employment search to staff the new soda brewery within your nation. Included will be positions as master brewers, brewers, and creative flavor chefs. As part of our employment orientation, all potential employees must come to our Costa Alurian campus for a six week, intensive brewing university which will familiarize employees with South Seas Soda Company techniques and culture.

We look forward to bringing our operations to your nation, and thank you for helping us bring our fans the flavors of the South Seas!

MERCANTILE APPLICATION
From: George Ramos, Director of Public Air Travel
Nation of Origin: Military Democracy of Birtonia
Number and location of mercantiles to open within your nation: Up to five (5) stores in John Henry Memorial International Airport.
Comments/Notes:Greetings, as you may or may not know, Birtonia is a country where the free market does not exist. As such all companies are publicly owned and there fore the best for our particular economy. However we have noted that there is an influx of foreign tourists in one of our regions. These people pay plenty well to tour our vast beaches and other national land marks. We have there fore decided, in the first time in our nation's history to let a foreign company on Birtonian soil. You would be granted five storefronts for now in our countries largest airport. Depending on the success of these stores we will decide the future of this business arrangement. I thank you in your expedient reply to this message.

Sincerely,

Mr. Ramos:

South Seas Soda Company has received your message regarding potential mercantiles in good regard. As our global presence increases, we believe it to be of vital importance to be located in strategic areas where our sodas can be enjoyed by as many people as possible. As such, we are pleased to inform you that your application has been approved. South Seas Soda Company would be honored to operate up to five mercantiles located within John Henry Memorial International Airport. What an excellent opportunity for our company to cater to those who are on one bookend of their holiday by providing an exotic soda experience!

One note about your designation of up to five mercantiles: we believe one mercantile will be plenty per terminal, as we do not see a profitable advantage in oversaturating our market and competing with ourselves. Since we do not know the extent of John Henry Memorial, we are uncertain whether we would operate the full five mercantiles or whether fewer would be sufficient, with one per terminal.

In any regard, we look forward to bringing our handcrafted, traditional and tropical sodas to your nation where lucky travelers can prepare for holidays by enjoying one of our beverages. We extend our gratitude for your business and thank you for taking a soda holiday to the South Seas!

Dear sirs/madams:

South Seas Soda Company would like to thank you for your recent contact regarding shipments through your company. However, at this time we are content to remain with out shipping providers already in place. As our home nation of Costa Aluria is situated on a set of islands, one can imagine the difficulty that is had in shipping thousands of cases of soda. However, we have full confidence in our current providers, and we are uncertain about the capability of an airline to ship so many bottles of soda since space is at a premium. The cargo ships, while slightly slower, seem to meet our needs in a more effective manner. We hope you understand our position.

Should our shipping preference change in the future, we will be sure to keep your company in mind.

Dear sirs/madams:

South Seas Soda Company would like to thank you for your recent contact regarding the lease of peach orchard land within your farms. However, after careful consideration, we must inform you of our company's decision to decline your offer. While the price is quite reasonable, it is the hidden costs associated with such a lease that make action prohibitive on this particular parcel. Simply put, smaller farm parcels require more maintenance cost per acre than do larger parcels. As such, we believe it to be an unprofitable venture to consider any farmland that is under 100 acres in size. We hope you understand our position on this matter.

However, we would be interested in discussions on a larger parcel of land suitable for peaches or any other of the crops we use within our sodas. If such a larger parcel is available, please do not hesitate to contact us in this matter.

To: South Seas Soda
From: Mr. John Arden

Dear Allistair Houghton,

Greetings, We thank you for your fast reply.

We apologize about this, It was a typo in calculation. After Re-calcuation, We will offer 135 acres for the exact same price! This is some leftover land from when the farm was initially plowed. And again, due to the Agriculture defecit in our nation we need to unload these 135 quality acres for really cheap! We hope you reconsider.

Have a great day!

Mr. Arden:

South Seas Soda Company would like to thank you for your follow-up to our previous discussion regarding purchasing farm land from Shady Oaks Farm. We have received your contact in good regard. As our company expands, we are certainly in need of expanding our operations and supply base so that there is no delay in providing our fans the sodas that they love and appreciate.

Having reviewed your recent contact, we are greatly excited about the possibility of a larger parcel of land than previously discussed. A 135 acre parcel capable of producing peaches and other fruits in high demand for our sodas would go a great distance towards supplying our soda needs. As such, we are pleased to inform you that your proposal for purchase has been approved by our leadership team! South Seas Soda Company would be well served to purchase your parcel of land. We have made arrangements to transfer the full asking price from our Costa Alurian banks to your account.

To make a seamless transition, we are certainly interested in bringing in local workers to tend the orchard land. If Shady Oaks Farm has additional farmhands available,we would love to place these workers on contract, paying them a fair wage for their experience and knowledge.

In any regard, we thank you for your contact and business deal, and thank you for helping us to supply the flavors of the South Seas!

AN OFFICIAL MESSAGE

TO:South Seas Soda Co.
FROM:CEO of Centreplex

Hello. I am writing to you today to tell you about a new company called Centreplex. Centreplex is a new 21st Century store which boasts 100s of high street retailers. We are going to tell you the advantages of signing your store up with Centreplex. Firstly, this will be a quick way to get stores. Each nation will be allowed to sign up 5 stores of their choice whether it is a major store or a quite enclosed store, or even a new store that is trying to become a high end retailer. When you sign up for a place in Centreplex, we will record how many Centreplex stores with your high end retailer in that has been constructed. Each month, we will send you a public message like this one saying if your store has either got a new store, or a few new store or less. You're store would refresh the crowd after a long days of work!(By the way: On the page they're called stalls). Stores with a thread will get higher priority and will be put on the big Centreplex stores. Here is the link: (CLICKY). If there is any inquires then don't hesitate to ask. Bear in mind we are not totally finished yet so you can just show interest on here.

Also in Nightom we would like to sign up for you stores I a couple of days.

You might think with so many South Seas Sodas on the market that it is pretty easy to come up with new flavors. But did you know that each of our flavors goes through a significant vetting process before it reaches our portfolio for distribution? Our creative flavor chefs are some of the best in the industry, with an uncanny ability to tweak tested recipes as well as to come up with completely original ideas. Many times our recipes go through several incarnations with minor changes until just the right concoction is reached. And since each of our traditional and tropical flavors is handcrafted, our chefs make sure you get the highest quality soda experience available. We know there is at least one soda for each person to love and enjoy. Take a soda holiday to the South Seas today!

Dear sirs/madams:

South Seas Soda Company would like to thank you for your recent contact regarding a three year national supply. However, at this time there are still many factors for which we need to account before we can continue in these discussions. Firstly, we do not know how many residents are in the nation of England-Ireland. Secondly, we do not know how many sodas each of your residents might drink in a given day. Without those figures, it would be nearly impossible to supply an adequate amount for a three year period.

At any rate, it is likely impossible to store a three year supply as it is, unless your nation has a very small population. As a bottler of handcrafted sodas, we do not warehouse unnecessary amounts of product, choosing rather to deliver our customers the freshest sodas as possible. We would, however, be willing to negotiate a steady supply of sodas to be delivered at regular intervals.

We look forward to your reply in this matter to sort out your order concerns.

With cheer,
