Northreach World Airways, or as it is more commonly called, Northreach, is the largest carrier in Orlkjestad. It is 18% owned by River Transportation, 27% owned by the Orlkjestadi Civil Aeronautics Administration (OCAA), 4% owned by Global Franchising, and 51% owned by International Enterprises. Northreach contains four other subsidiary airlines, Northreach Express, Northreach Cargo, Northreach Connection, and Circa.
History
In 1917, foreign businessman John Northreach and Orlkjestadi associate Gregor Maarten started thinking about establishing an airline as the first airlines were emerging, because of an ad by the government of the then Pyrillic Union issued a reward equivalent to 10 million USD today, or a person or group that connected Orlkjestadi Polynesia and the mainland. In 1918, they founded Pyrillic Air Services, with only a Maarten M.20 biplane 6 seater wooden aircraft, later to be called Northreach Air Ways after a merger with Imperial Air in 1921, then Northreach World Airways in 1933. That same year, Northreach got a license to fly internationally. It immediately began international service, with a combination of the Curtiss Condor and DC-3. Upon the outbreak of the Second Great War, Northreach provided supply lifts and troop transport fir the Pyrillic Army, buying the DC-4 and famed Maarten M.130 "Flying Hotel", a luxurious 3 deck flying boat, complete with private cabins for passengers, onboard restaurant, and even an onboard concierge, booking hotels and tours for those onboard. Once the war ended and the Pyrillic Union imploded in a velvet revolution giving way to the Intercontinental Federation of Orlkjestad, Northreach purchased aircraft such as the DC-6, the Boeing 377 Stratocruiser, and the Lockheed Constellation. In the 1950s, the expansion continued, with the introduction of the DC-7, Lockheed Starliner, de Havilland Comet, Vickers Viscount, and many more, continuing in the 1960s, buying more of the current L188 Electras and Vickers Vanguards, Boeing 727, Lockheed Tristars, and Maarten 300s. The 1970s saw the introduction of the DC-10, Boeing 747, and the A300, and the founding of Northreach Express with DC-9s and Short 330s. In the 1980s, Northreach World Airways saw the introduction of the Boeing 757, and A320, as well as the first First class offerings. In the 1990s, Premier class was introduced, as well as the absorption of rival Pyrillic Southern Airlines. Today, Northreach is a leader in world aviation, and wants to expand to your country.
