Barceló Class OPV have been designed for designed for coastal defense duties. There maybe configured for use by Naval forces, coast guard, Survey, cadet training, firefight or rescue operations adaptable on costumer specifications. Both for marine and/or estuarine or river environments.
They are suited for border protection roles, including anti-smuggling, anti-piracy, fisheries patrols, and immigration law enforcement.
They have Helipad capable reinforced deck. Their endurance in sea is 21 days.

In rescue operations version the gun is removed and changed for Hoses an adds an Medical emergencies module.
All versions carry a RHIB. 2 fittings for 7.62mm MG or firefighting hoses, can be added in the Ship centre.
Coastguard version has an helipad and naval version unless it has a ASM fitted also has a helipad.

Missile Boat version as proposed to New Edon based on missile boats built for Padnak 's navy.

Armament: 1 Bow OTO 76/62 autogun in a Stealth casemate, 1x30 mm gun in a tifó Manual/RC Turret. AFT and a double SIMBAD SAM launcher (mistral) and up to 8 light antiship Tauró (RBS-15) missiles. In the aft in forward firing in 4 for sets for 2, no helipad, only RUAVs can be used.
All versions carry a 7m RHIB. 2 fittings for 12,7mm or 7.62mm MG are added in the Ship centre.
