About River Cruises
A river cruise is a spectacular way to travel and vacation throughout a city of multiple for that matter. You arrive at your point of departure, perhaps a dock somewhere upstream. This is where your trip begins. You load onto the vessel, a beautiful river ship, maybe it even has a paddle-wheel. You unpack once, and only once, even though you may be traveling hundreds of miles. The ship begins to sail down the river, through a great city. It stops, and you may disembark to see a great work of architecture, take pictures, dine in a lavish restaurant, pass through a museum and see the great art. After some time, you return to the ship and perhaps to the privacy of your room if you desire. When you you want to eat, the ship restaurant is always available. You spend the next few days doing the same, gazing at sights from the ship and seeing them on land. Then, you're off through the countryside, next to another town or city, to be immersed in the culture there just as well.
