Hello, ladies and gentlemen! Welcome to one of the most-technologically advanced airports in the world, the brand new Korena City International Airport, sponsored with trillions of dollars by the Government of Timmy City. Located in the beautiful coastline of Korena, only ten or so miles west of Korena City, Korena's capital, tens of thousands of passengers come and go across our busy airport. It is also one of the busiest airports in the world, boasting over a billion passengers traveling in and out of the airport every month. Many gates and terminals have been built to accomodate the growing air travel.


Airport Security

Safety of our airport's travelers is our airport's top #1 priority. Our airport security is always at maximum, and so far we've confiscated over a thousand dangerous weapons. The United Republic of Korena Homeland Security is a very well funded sector of our nation, and it isn't very difficult getting through the security and the checkpoints. A basic pat-down of the traveler's clothing is mandatory, and passport is required at all times moving through the checkpoint. Ofcourse, behind the checkpoint is where the gates, mall, and the food courts are.

Our airport boasts one of the most complex yet simple area of region of duty free shops within the airport. Only a few minutes of walking distance next to the gates, the mall is the one place where travelers that travel through our airport never forget to visit. Another proud thing our airport is proud of is our excellent food court. Hundreds of different restaurant options are available for travelers at the airport, whether its a quick grab 'n go, or a luxurious dinner before take-off. The food court is right next to the airport mall, and passengers usually come here for a meal after shopping at the mall.

Korena City International Airport has exactly twenty terminals, with ten gates each to a terminal. It is heavily recommended that passengers arrive at their designated gates thirty minutes prior to their flight's departure from the gate. A train connects the main airport building with all the terminals. There are about 2000 train cars in the airport, and 100 train cars serve each terminal of the airport.

Up until a few months ago, the new airport for Korena City's new international airport was coming along very well. Well, it was, until the newly elected President of Korena stopped the funding of building this new international airport. It is now up to private companies to finish this projet, which the Korenian Goverment already spent billions on. Due to the fact that Korena City's old airport is now unable to accomodate all the air travel in and out of Korena, this newly building airport will be used for international flights, while Korena's old city airport will be used for domestic flights.

So the thing is, Korena is counting on private companies and businesses to finish up the airport! Unfortunately, Korena doesn't have a big private sector, and that means this airport project will be quite dependent on foreign companies. Korena City needs at least $30 billion to finalize this airport, and make it open for air travel. Ofcourse, the question would be, why would foreign companies want to invest in this airport?

- If the nation that invests on Korena's new international airport has a national airline, Korena will guarentee that the investing nation's national airline will have at least 5 gates for them to use at the new airport.

- If a company invests this on the airport, Korena will then BUY some of the company's products and put them into good use. Also, the company will have a choice to set up shops / restaurants within the airport!
