Board Governance Principles
The following represents the clear goals and responsibilities of the Board of Directors. Meant to ensure that the Board promotes the interests of the shareholders such as the setting of broad policies, overseeing the performance of the company, and ensuring the clear delegation of powers to executive management

The Board of Directors is expected to be responsible for the pursuing of the overall Ohsung Petroleum goal and is accountable to the shareholders for any actions made by Ohsung Petroleum. The Board should focus on large strategic issues, the company's relation with different economic, political, and social factors which affect the develepemnt of business or Ohsung Petroleum's current operations.

Chairman of the Board

Hansong Shintak was elected as Chairman of the Board on Jan. 1st, 2009.

A life long industrialist, Hansong began working at Ohsung Petroleum in 1984 after graduating from Hanyang University with a Bachelor's Degree in International Relations and a Master's Degree in Corporate Law as a mid-level manager in Ohsung's upstream division. Noted for getting the most out of his workers and known for his excellent leadership skills, Hansong moved to Ohsung Steel in 1992 and worked as a senior level manager reaching the position of Chief Finance Officer in 1996. During Mr. Shintak's employment at Ohsung Steel new methods of steel production were researched under his leadership which resulted in the increased competitiveness of the company.

In 2000, Mr. Shintak returned to Ohsung Petroleum as the Chief Executive Officer. Under his leadership Ohsung Petroleum undertook huge international expansion and the company began operations across the world. Revenue increased significantly as Ohsung Petroleum moved to export its products to places formerly never considered and investments in new technologies (one of the first acts of Hansong as CEO was to put more emphasis on the development of new technolgies) began to pay off as new gains in efficiency were made and previously untouchable reserves of oil were made profitable. Following a long 9 years of success, Hansong was elected as the Chairman of the Board in 2009 following the retirement of the previous Chairman.

Mr. Shintak since his elevation to Chairman of the Board has forfeited all other memberships and positions in third party organizations such as the Sensalian Industrialist Society. He is nonetheless the current head of the Shintak noble family and is also the Chairman of Ohsung Group, the parent company of Ohsung Petroleum.

Born in 1962, Hansong Shintak is Sensalian national. He is married to Seumin Younghyun and has two children.

Chief Executive Officer, Hangyun Kim

Hangyun Kim became Chief Executive Officer on Jan. 1st, 2009.

Prior to his appointment as Chief Executive Officer of Ohsung Petroleum, Hangyun Kim had been Chief Executive Officer of Ohsung Petroleum Sensal since 1998 and was made Executive Vice President of Foreign Operations in 2004, a position he held until Mr. Kim became Chief Executive Officer.

Entering the business world in 1989, Mr. Kim had graduated from Hanyang Universty with a Bachelor's Degree in Macroeconomics and a Master's Degree in Business Administration and joined Shintak Wealth Management as part of its oil and gas department.

Mr. Kim rose up through the ranks and eventually was appointed as the Oil and Gas Specialist of Shintak Wealth Management, a position he carried from 1992 - 1998. As the Oil and Gas Specialist Mr. Kim advised the Shintak family on investments dealing the oil and gas industry, a position which carried much weight as the single largest investment made by the fund was in Ohsung Petroleum (a position now worth 1.031 trillion USD) Mr. Kim was also a member of the Board of Directors during his tenure as the Oil and Gas Specialist where he represented the interests of the Shintak family and its sizable investment.

Active in several organizations, Mr. Kim is the Chairman of the Sensalian Petroleum Alliance and is a member of the Sensalian Industrialist Society. Mr. Kim also is a member of the Grand National Assembly (the Sensalian legislature) and is Chairman of the Committee on Industrial Regulation as well as a member of the Committee on Economic Development.

Born in 1963, Mr. Kim is a Sensalian national. He is currently married to Sonbi Shintak and has two children.

Chief Government Liaison,Tujin Pak
Tujin Kim became Chief Government Liaison on Jan. 1st, 2009.

Graduating Hanyang University with a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in International Relations, Tujin Pak joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of the Imperial Republic of Sensal in 1992. As an employee of the Ministry, Mr. Pak served in posts at the Sensalian embassy in Solm, Tergnitz, Sailsia, and New Edom.

Solm was Mr. Pak's first post and due to excellent credentials he was assigned as the Economic Embassy Officer in 1992. As the Economic Embassy Officer, Mr. Pak was in charge of any/all economic relations between Sensal and Solm. During his stay at the embassy, Ohsung Petroleum was granted the right to drill in the Sierra Mountains in 1994, a move which proved highly advantageous for both Ohsung and Sensal. Though he served in all countries with distinction, Mr. Pak's stay in Solm is thought to have been the highlight of his diplomatic career.

In 2004, Emperor Gyungi named Mr. Pak as his Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, a position he held until 2006. As minister Tujin was known to push a foreign policy based mostly on economic pressures placing topics such as human rights in the backburner. During his tenure Mr. Pak oversaw the establishment of several large contracts between Ohsung Petroleum and its regional neighbors.

Tujin is currently active in several organizations ranging from the Foreign Affairs Council to the Advisory Committee for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

Born in 1968, Mr. Pak is a Sensalian national. He is married to Hayun Shintak and has one child.

Executive Vice President of Foreign Operations, Yunhee Shintak
Yunhee Shintak became Executive Vice President of Foreign Operations on Jan. 1st, 2009

After graduating from Hanyang University with a Bachelor's Degree in Petroleum Economics and a Master's Degree in Business Management in the University's accelerated program, Yunhee Shintak joined Ohsung Petroleum in 2006 and served in senior management positions in Ohsung Petroleum's sales and legal divisions.

Before becoming a part of Ohsung Petroleum, Ms. Shintak had served as a Senior General Manager in Ohsung Steel from 2003 - 2006 and was noted as one of the most effective leaders in the company's corporate history. During her three year stay at Ohsung Steel, Ms. Shintak became well known due to her recognition as the youngest executive in Sensalian history and her ability to rise so rapidly in the largely male dominated Sensalian business sphere. Ms. Shintak had also been heavily involved in the running of Shintak Wealth Management from the age of 15 due to unforseen circumstances within the family.

Ms. Shintak is a member of the Sensalian Industrialist Society (its youngest member in history), Sensalian Entrepreneurial Society, and is the Chairwoman of the Sensalian Environment Advocacy Group.

Born in 1985, Ms. Shintak is a Sensalian national. She is currently unmarried.

Corporate History
As the Second Industrial Revolution swept across Sensal, the demand for kerosene skyrocketed as the development of oil lamps coupled with mass production techniques permitted the widespread availability of cheap lighting. During this time speculators discovered huge reserves of oil in the Northern Sensalian Plains. The reserves attracted thousands of individuals looking to make their fortune in oil and a vicious cycle of booms and busts arose as producers would over-saturate the market, which would result in such a decrease in price that many would go out of business and result in a shortage which then raised the price.

The Shintak noble family, understanding that that to modernize was the only way that they would be able to keep their wealth and standing, moved into the petroleum business with large investments of cash to help with their new venture. In 1872 Ohsung Petroleum was founded under the leadership of Geerem Shintak, the company's first Chairman of the Board and a Senior Executive. As the prime leadership for the company, Geerem Shintak brought order into what was the madness of the Sensalian petroleum industry by taking competitive actions which would lay the foundation for modern business practices.

By 1892 Ohsung Petroleum controlled 92% of the oil industry in Sensal and was exporting across the world, a feat achieved through the implementation of the vertical structure and practices which reduced inefficiencies and increased profits. 1911 proved to be a year of great change for Ohsung due to two major factors. The first was when gasoline surpassed kerosene in terms of absolute production, this was due to the popularization of the personal automobile and the preference of gasoline as a fuel source. Secondly the Mooloptnum Desert, after preliminary exploration, was found to contain mass reserves of oil untouched by the unorganized and haphazard production characteristic of the early oil industry.

Learning from the mistakes of the past, Ohsung Petroleum secured exclusive rights to drill in the Mooloptnum Desert in 1912 and began production in the following year. In 1913 due to rapidly growing surplus of petroleum products, the Imperial Government lifted the ban the exportation of petroleum (due to the Limitation of Strategic Resources Decree) and Ohsung Petroleum made its first export the following year. Since then Ohsung Petroleum has become a truly multinational company operating in numerous countries and exporting our products across the world.

Overview
Ohsung Petroleum is a Sensalian oil and gas multinational company headquartered in Hanyang, Sensal. Founded in 1872 by Geerem Shitak, Ohsung Petroleum is currently the largest oil and gas company in Sensal by revenue and reserves and is also the largest Sensalian company by market capitalization at 12 trillion USD. Ohsung Petroleum is also one of the largest and most valuable companies in the world with offices and operations around the world.

Ohsung Petroleum is vertically integrated and participates in every aspect of the oil and gas industry such as exploration and discovery, production, distribution, petrochemicals, power generation, and trading. Shintak Wealth Management is the largest single shareholder with a 17.195% stake while Tamaria Capital Group holds a 5.005% stake making it the second largest singe shareholder.

Overseas operations are a large part of the company's business and protection for Ohsung Petroleum personal, equipment, and merchandise has been provided by Ohsung Security Services since 2008. Though Sensalian reserves remain the largest of Ohsung reserves (an estimated 500 billion barrels able to be recovered), foreign reserves contribute significantly with reserves in Solm estimated at 121 billion barrels alone.

Applications

Note : If an organization is unable to pay for a purchase they must notify Ohsung Petroleum beforehand. Broken contracts will be subject to lawsuits in international courts or other platforms of civil justice. Ohsung Petroleum reserves the right to refuse customers.

Demand for energy is expected to grow by 65% among developing countries by 2040 as compared to 2010. The huge growth in demand is due to the rapid industrialization many of these countries have faced and the greater consumption of energy that stems from industrializing. Current Projects

Hydroelectricity in Tarler

Ohsung Petroleum has for a long time supported the building of hydroelectric power plants with nearly all dams built in Sensal built by Ohsung Petroleum. Due to its long history of quality, economic, and efficient work Ohsung Petroleum has been commissioned by the government of Tarler to build three large hydroelectric dams and to maintain them afterwards with 40% of all energy going towards Ohsung Petroleum for export.

It is expected that each of the three dams will be able to produce some 2,000 TW-hour within four years though it has been estimated that the dams may be finished within three years time if work is uninhibited.

Each of these vessels will of course voluntarily put submit themselves to any local customs demands or fees though any seizure of property, unlawful detainment of crew or ship, or any other harsh and unnecessary punishments against the ship or the crew will result in prosecution by Ohsung Petroleum and the immediate halt of operations.
