Trans Polar Express Line Journey

Travel in Luxury & Socialise along a night journey on the ICX Turino Trains Overnight Train. Avaliable daily, travel across the Polar Ice Caps and a stunning 1600km crossing. Tickets include sleeping facilities , access to social activities and food and drinks. All from NS$1899 per person. The TransPolar Tourist Authority states:


"The Rai'Lal sea crossing across the icecap is a 2688km bridge that spans the 300m deep Arctic Ocean, for a regular locomotive hauled passenger service takes 26 hours to cross it. Trans Polar Railways built it because ports were forever being frozen in. At its highest point, you are 300m above the surface of the ocean to allow ships to pass underneath.

The Westernmost point of the bridge has a visitor centre to allow people to go up to the observation lounge, a further 200m above the tracks, here you can dine in absolute comfort in a revolving restaurant that takes in the views of the polar north, and during the long polar night, there is a dark observation room above the restaurant that allows visitors to view the Aurora Borealis

In the visitor centre, you can actually decend deep into the bridge with a guided tour, showing the generators and signal control centre that control singnalling across the bridge. Tours cost 20 Northern Dinars for an adult, 10 for a child under 16years of age and take aproximately 2 hours."

ADVANCE WORKS NOTICE FOR TURINO OPERATIONS
Project Aurora Rail Infrastructure Support would like to inform Turino Trains International of a 5 hour shut down of service on the Westbound line through Rai'Lal interchange on 07-20-2012. This is for a switch installation for an additional service line for the Rai'Lal interchange. a second overnight suspension of service will occur on 08-13-2012 for connection of the electrical cantenary. during these Westbound suspensions, all north bound trains will have to use the Eastbound platform. Trains that are not scheduled to stop at Rai'lal will be diverted onto the freight line bypass.

Rosswood LightRail.

Rosswood Lightrail is a modern and efficient system commissioned on 16 Jul. 12 by TTI to transport passengers to and from
Rosswood International Airport stopping at the Main Capital City, Rosa, a tourist centre midway and Terminals 1 and 2 of the Airport.

Therefore as a result of the project, three stations have begun construction as well. RIX 1 is the main one, costing 6.4m, is also the main storage area for the LightRail fleet. The other two stations, located at terminal 2 and on the battlefield are 2 platform based costing a total of 4.9m as well. These stations are hoping to be fully built in the next 14 days, however currently a small service is able to function -SEE LIVE DEPATURE BOARD FOR MORE DETAILS.

The service is run twenty four hours a day, seven days a week. The average journey time from RIX St.1 to the capital city of Rose is usually between 17-23 minutes. Trains frequent every 6-12 minutes as well.

LightRail Fleet

Orbis Engineering have released their latest commuter train, the 250km/h rated two-car lightweight commuter train, this trainset is designed for variable voltage operation with 15 to 25kv AC overhead, 1500v DC overhead and 750v DC third rail.

seating for the HSMU is 96, - 72 in standard class (4 abreast), 24 in first class (3 abreast) with a small counter bar for snacks and pre-heated meals half way along the no2 car. First class is located at the lead half of the no2 car, just behind the cockpit. at the rear end of no1 car just ahead of the vestibule area between cars is the luggage space. This can be either a standard rack or for 15,000 northern dinars an armoured vault designed to send any blast up through the roof space.

Interior specifications incude ambient uplighting in a shade of neon blue with LED emergency lighting that strobes to the nearest exit, skylight exits incase of derailment that renders the train on its side. Seating can be specified with either saloon seating which has tables at windows and passengers face each other, or airline style seating. This option is slightly more expensive as seats have in built video screens as standard.

Riding on air suspension for a smooth ride, the HSMU is also designed to tilt around corners for increased passenger comfort.

Since the main destination is Rose , ticket prices are to/from RIX to the city. Note it is half price for those departing/joining the service at the Midway stop at the Tourist Battlefield. Light Rail Tickets are valid 24hrs after purchase, (allowing tourists to stop off at battlefield for the day) and are ONE WAY only.

Also we offer you the rights to open high speed routes between this four cities, parallel to the state own PRA (Phoenixian Railway Association). The PRA will establish Inter City routes with far more stops so that you can expect more businessmen and Tourists on your routes. We expect a daily volume of 5 to 6 million passengers per route.
Please consider this plans as the Department of Transportation is not sure that the PRA can establish the routes mentioned above to the full satisfaction.

We are confident we can deliver what you have suggested, and our Finance team is currently working out costings to build the railways etc. However we have one question, do you want these Networks to be fully private (ie we put in costs/maintainece etc) which means you would recieve a One OFF fee of (usually at least 60m) or if the Department wishes, Paying for part of the railways can yield a long term high profit on a weekly basis (min 6million a week).

Also, TTI's Planners also require a list of Station names you would like along the lines (optional)

Here is a summary of the overview of Costings etc calculated by TTI's Financial Team. Currently these are estimates and not actual figures, we believe we can lower some areas across the project. Also TTI's Engineering and Planning staff have considered the needs of the city and tried to balance it with it a modern and stylistic approach as well.

New Hope Metropolitian Light Rail System

The Capital City only truly deserves the best. Hence, why the TTI team have suggested we construct Mangetic Levitation System right across the city. This ,although increasing tracklaying costs by 134% , will easily suffice required demand as well as looking modern and impressive. The Cost of the 500 strong fleet and building the network is expecting to be NS$2.1bn. Now here at TTI we understand these momumental costings, that have far exceeded anything that TTI has managed before but we are confident it will be effective ,and perhaps crucially turn a profit.

The New Hope Subway System

Subway Systems are never cheap. We hope to install a service across three interlinking lines that will run a frequent service every four minutes. The cost of the rail network here is around NS$612m ,whilst the cost of fleet is to be set at NS$1.9bn.

Please note, the prices for the fleet are High due to the fact TTI has no regular maindeal Supplier for Subway trains, so has had to utilise an expensive Storefront Company instead.

Gryphon Castle Light Rail System

Here things are much easier and cheaper. We can utlise one of our Storefront Trains Supplier-Orbis Engineering to supply us with an upto date and efficent fleet. The cost of the Network is expected to be NS$142m and the fleet itself a very reasonable NS$186m (max will probably be 20% less).

Gryphon Castle Subway System
This subway system is also much easier to organise , and as it needs a much smaller base, will only cost NS$1.3bn in total.

Dragonia Light Rail System
This LightRail City system will cost NS$125,000,000 to build with Fleet costs expected to be around only 110m.


Dragonia Subway Tourist Line
A Single Line System will be sufficent here to cope with the numbers.
Costs for this are expected to be: NS$312m for the network and nearly 480m for the fleet.

Here TTI Planners have come up with an interesting idea. Although perhaps more expensive, it has been suggested a TramSystem should be constructed instead. It would be modern sleek & Efficent. Its also ideal as the small areas it covers make it friendly and as it deals with such a small customer load. The total cost for this is around N$217m.

The Timmy City Project

The Timmy City project was a long and difficult project. When Turino Trains International faced restructuring difficulties this project was delayed severely as a result . However on 19 Jul 2012, TTI Planner formalised construction and work began on the most expensive project in the Company’s history.
Designed to transport an entire nation across vast keys and islands, all at at relatively small cost and very efficiently . To tackle this problem, TTI planners have suggested using a combined Network of Magnetic Levitation Trains and High Speed TramSystem Interchange Points or Metrolines. This would be developed ontop of and incorporating the Old Overseas Railroad.

The Keys Connection:
The Old railroad here was in dire need of repair. Using Steel Pillars and reinforced concrete, covered in a sleek carbon holding design coated with the latest water proofing technology , the Maglev Key Connection Track was able to be built. Although, expensive, costing NS$4.2bn –making it the single most expensive above land track line in TTI and most probably Timmy City’s history, the 800 strong Maglev fleet can transport 556,000 people at any one time and can cope with 13m passengers on a daily basis.
The Maglev Connection continues another 70 miles beyond the Keys to Dry Tortuguas.

Hawain Islands:

This is perhaps the most ambitious TTI project ever. To ensure the coral areas are protected and that tourist can still access hotspots such as the Great Yarn Ball (biggest in the world). Here there has been the most expensive overall project- a Subway underground watertunnel. Spectacular in its design it cost over 13bn to build. There is also a clear section that overlooks the coral areas above it appealing to many tourists (this 500m stretch cost instelf 4.2bn). Here there is also a 250 Strong Metroline fleet with a two tier Railtrack allowing rapid and fast movement of persons.

We are thankful for your offer displayed where you proposed a new Tramlink concept to be delivered at a modest price across terminals and along the runways, to Woldland City. We laud your intentions. However, the local city council, in conjunction with their main bus coordinator, already have an hourly, sustainable bus service from and to the city itself.

However, we would never be so rapid in turning down a good deal, so we would rather submit an alternative order, in which a tram could still connect terminals. Since our largest car parks sit up to one mile away from the main reception of their allocated terminal, we wish to ask for a tram service between the car park for Terminal 1, to the entrance of Terminal 1, with the same plans for Terminal 2.

Our plans for this would be, as you have already stated, sustainable. We would like a system which is mostly built on ground level where there is sufficient outdoor space, though, where needed, we could allow for bridges. We like quiet, modern carriages. As walking is encouraged by government initiatives, we have also decided that, with your permission, we can charge a small fee for those who decide to use the trams. Should this be permitted, any income from the charging- however large or small- will be fairly split in half; 50 % for us (Woldland International Airport Authority), and you.
