Original 20 April 2012. Revised 23 December 2013.
How fast does the time flies! It seems like yesterday when Air Liberte went international and what an amazing response have we got! In the past years, Air Liberte has rapidly expanded its services to over 80 foreign countries and now serves over 100 destinations (87 foreign and 13 Mizia). I am proud to announce that Air Liberte is now the second largest airline, in terms of number of destinations served and number of passengers carried (OOC: Correct me if I'm mistaken. After some research, I found out that only Kingtonian Airways beats AL in this criteria) listed in the GE&T. Our other milestones for the past years, award of 5 star rating and A+ rating by reputed rating companies. AL is the only Mizia airline that has reported profits for straight six quarters. We now command an absolute monopoly over all fights operating in and out of Mizialand as our market share has expanded from 66% to 72%. This Christmas we would like to gift all those who have made this possible- yes, our very beloved guests.
On 23rd December 2013, Air Liberte merged with Skyway Airlines, the flag carrier of Vandelstein to form Skyway-Liberte - new holding company that owns both airlines' outstanding stocks. With connections offered at Bonn International Airport, Helsingberg International Airport, Concordia International Airport, and Terragrigia Gateway International Airport, Skyway Airlines and Air Liberte serve over 220 destinations connecting Mizialand to even the remotest corner of the world. The merger will bring more benefits in the days to come.

Early Years
In 2002, the Mizia Government decided to allow one private Company to start air transport services. This led to the creation of Air Liberte. Initially, the airline was established as an Air Taxi. Afterwards, when the government decided to repeal the [i]Loi sur la Société de l'air, 1945 and allowed the entry of the limited number of air carriers to the Mizialand air space. Thus the company was established as a scheduled airline. Regular services commenced on 14 April, 2002 with a Boeing 737-300 aircraft. This was hailed by the local commuters as an important event because for the first time since the establishment of the Kingdom, a private company was allowed to function without much interference of the government.

In October of the same year Air Liberte proposed to buy Aero Mizia for $ 500 million making it the biggest takeover in Mizia history. La Frachiere, the national parliament opposed this proposal tooth and nail; however Her Majesty intervened and gave a 'green signal' to the buyout. All 12 aircrafts of Aero Mizia were sold to Air Liberte and now the airline is completely integrated to Air Liberte.

17 Genesis GA6 (Delivery Awaited)
The Genesis GA6, a sister model to the wide body, over wing engined GA7, is a highly advanced narrow-body medium to long range airliner. Available in 3 seating options, these being tri-class, dual class, high density single class, however all cabin options are very well equipped. The GA7 cockpit is fully computerized, but retains the traditional central control stalk rather than the airbus style side-stick, this is a direct result of pilot feedback during the design stage.
Looking forwards, the GA6 has a weather radar and a transponder, but also has a terrain collision avoidance system using a radar altimeter to measure how close the aircraft is to the ground. If the aircraft is flying too low for the terrain, should it be the case that the aircraft is at risk of controlled flight into Terrain, the system onboard will take over and begin to climb the aircraft over the terrain in question and so avoiding controlled flight into terrain.
