About Us (A brief history): (Note that the ACCH was ARCH Until very recently) The Weapons Division of The Armed Coalition of Comrade Hayden was begun, in its current form, in 1946, when the private firearms market no longer provided sufficient amounts of weapons, and lacked progress in weapons development. After the acquisition of schematics for the popular AK-47 assault rifle, it was produced, en mass, by the government to arm both the military and civilians; as they years went by, constant changes were made to the weapon, and in 1957, a new military policy was put into place that allowed all members of the population to serve in any capacity, and made it law that all able-bodied individuals serve in the military for four years (Ages 18-22). The combination of these two policies made it abundantly clear that changes were needed in our military arms policy; as such, a month later, a new law was passed to allowed any military member to choose the weapon that they served with (within reason); needless to say, the government did not have a wide-selection at that time, so private arms manufacturers got a massive boost in business, and incentives to create new weapons. By 1973, the Arms Manufacturing industry of ACCH was, by far, the largest of any industry in ACCH, managing to provide weapons to a majority of the population of ACCH. Over the years, improvements were made, but the ACCH Weapons Division always had the best weapons for standard issue, ensuring that 61% of people serving choose to use the weapons recommended as standard issue that were produced by the ACCH Weapons Division.

The ACCH Weapons division recruited the best minds of the private sector to create new weapons for standard issue to the military forces. Until recently, exporting weapons was not permitted for several reasons; it was the goal to arm all of the population of our own nation, and it was decided not to export any surplus firearms, so that they could be stock-piled and at the time, the government did not believe in weapon exporting. With the government reformation, and the Chairman being in full control of all military and weapon-related issues, it was decided to export a certain number of our many firearms. This decision was, in part, fueled by a recent weapon designer re-locating to our nation and providing new prototypes based on the "AK" weapon system.

As a large nation that has always prided itself on being armed, ACCH has many different tested and proven weapon designs that can fit any individual need. In addition to this, large industries that specialize in concealed and niche weapons have also sprung up, and have provided some offerings to the ACCH Weapons Division for export.

The ACCH Weapons Division is currently expanding into vehicle exports; we will still continue to expand our small-arms catalog.

AK Series Prototype Weapons

The ACCH Weapons Division AK-Series Prototype weapons are all new and modified designs on what is celebrated as one of the greatest weapons systems of all time: the AK47. The AK47 served as ACCH's weapon of choice until other weapon advances were poised to start surpassing it; to ensure that the system could continue to be used, and still have the legendary reliability of the AK, mass research was performed; the following weapons are the ones that are currently being exported as a result of this research (NOTE: For various reasons, more models will be listed as time goes on.)

ASSAULT RIFLES

This is the base variant, known today as the Chinese Type 56; despite the name, it was not manufactured in China. This weapon features a permanently attached foldable bayonette and a folding stock, which helps reduce some of the weight and gives it a slight increase in maneuverability. As with almost all AK variants, it can accept any AK style magazine loaded with 7.62x39mm.

The AKM was an improvement on the original AK-47 and Type 56 designs, featuring the chrome-lined barrel and steel-stamped receiver. This particular export model features polymers as a replacement of the old wood to reduce weight and to increase durability even further, and to reduce weight. This is the classic AK assault rifle, and still remains one of, if not the, most reliable weapon on the market today.

The first attempt at a modified and improved AK met with mixed results. While effective range and firing range was increased, the bulk and weight of the weapon were increased as well. Field tests also showed that maneuverability was an issue in close-quarters combat. As such, this was designated a longer-range variant. This first prototype also used integrated 1.5x sight/carrying handle that is reminiscent of the old style M16s first issued during the Vietnam War. The added bulk allowed for a recoil reduction system to be integrated, reducing the kick that normal AK's are known for to a much more manageable level without sacrificing ammunition caliber. An integrated grenade launcher is standard issue and a small compartment houses an additional grenade. A high-intensity flashlight is also mounted to the right side. Like most of the AK prototypes, it can use any standard AK magazine.

After many refinements to previous unsatisfactory models, a sleek and more efficient model was finally developed; the AK-Prototype Evolved. The combined 1.5x sight/carry handle from the previous successful prototype was retained, as was the 7.62x39mm ammunition type. The foldable stock was designed to reduce recoil, but the recoil reduction system from the previous weapon was retained as well, albeit smaller, and a combination muzzle break /flash hinder combine to reduce the recoil even further than the previous models, to the point that it is almost a non-issue. This time, more time was spent on the development of an integrated and customized grenade launcher. The longer range of the previous prototypes was also kept, and the reliability of this model is almost the same level of the original AK. An option exists to exchange the grenade launcher with an integrated single shot 10 gauge for close-quarters combat; the main use of this has been if the user is surprised while reloading or out of ammunition at extremely close range.

The AK-Evolved is a recent development and has become the new standard-issue weapon that the new Coalition is arming itself with. The AK-E has been converted to fire a 5.56 x 45mm round; this allows for a further reduction in recoil and a slight increase in magazine size; this decision was made after AK-E's in this caliber were tested and recoil was reduced to virtually nothing. Range has been further increased and a permanent adjustable 4x scope has been added to aid soldiers in longer ranged encounters. Firing rate was increased slightly, and the length of the gun was slightly decreased over the previous model to give it higher maneuverability for adaptation in close-quarters firefights. The stock is finally adjustable to each soldiers individual needs, and has been reinforced so that it can be used in a melee encounter once locked into a position; a single round and a 3-round burst selective fire option have been added as well. The gun also incorporates a new feature, and is the first electronic one to be added: a passive GPS tracker, powered by a single, common, double-A battery. The signal is only active when a battery is inserted and does not need to be on for the gun to be used. This small sensor package is ruggedized and has a distress button that transmits the location and weapon serial number. It can run 14 days on passive and 12 hours on distress mode. The weapon is exceptionally reliable; on par with any of the other prototypes outlined here, the only thing it lacks is the stopping power and penetration of its predecessors. The grenade launcher has also been retained, and can be loaded with a flechette round instead of the normal grenades. The AK-E also has, in addition to the single-fire and automatic fire modes, a 3-round burst firing mode.

SUB-MACHINE GUNS

The AK-SMGP is a prototype version of an AK-style sub-machine gun, strongly resembling an Uzi styled weapon. Though utilizing the AK-style system, it has been converted to use the smaller 7.62x25mm Tokarev round for size and controllability. Other features include a collapsible stock, 7-inch barrel, and a rail suitable for optics mounting. A compensator and hand grip have been added to further reduce recoil, thought it is already low from the smaller round.

The AK-SMGE is the newest adaptation in the SMG class, again, based on the AK design system. Abandoning the look of earlier prototypes and straying back towards the original weapon, this new model trades length for effectiveness. An extended 12 inch barrel gives further range, while still maintaining it to the compact SMG class. A recoil buffering collapsible stock, hand grip, and the maintained small 7.62x25 Tokarev round ensure that this is a very low-recoil and cost-effective weapon. This model features a slightly increased firing rate over previous SMGs, but, as with previous models, this weapon has low stopping power and penetration; its an effective support or police weapon.

This sniper variant on the AK system has been chambered in the 7.62x51mm NATO round, and features a 8x optical scope. The conversion from assault rifle to sniper rifle has also taken a custom barrel and milled reciever, which increase the weight considerable; this is not a highly mobile platform and the bipod will likely see a lot of usage.

COMBINATIONS

This AK-Compact would likely have been forgotten, but it has seen an unusual amount of adaptation from officers. This attempt at a bull-pup design of an AK weapons system is chambered in the 7.62x39 round, and offers an extremely fair compromise between the Assault Rifle and SMG. Though officers regularly use it, it has also seen adaptation in SWAT and rapid-response teams as it is compact, and offers more power than its weaker 7.62x25mm SMG cousins. Its unusual appearance has developed a small cult following among a small minority in the military. After testing, a much stronger magazine lock was put into place to prevent the magazine ejecting or falling out with recoil. An extendable stock also offers slight recoil reduction.

ACCH private arms manufacturers went way over the top on this weapon, and its valued more as a collectible and for the intimidation if can inspire in enemies.

The LWP (Lancing Weapon Platform) was proposed initially as a joke and developed as something of a novelty item, by a company specializing in re-creating fictional weaponry. Most people will know where the idea for this weapon came from, and it was thought, by most, to be a very un-feasible weapon. It's not practical by any means, and its not particularly cheap, but despite this, it has enjoyed a surprising amount of commercial success.

The weapon spent approximately 4 years in its development stage because the special feature of this weapon that makes it unique is hugely impractical, and required an enormous amount of re-design as it would not house conventional weapon systems or more conventional firing mechanisms. Eventually, a new weapons designer entered the picture and developed a feasible system that would be able to fire, and operate as a normal gun, albeit with a mediocre firing rate and range, and would also be able to operate the chainsaw-bayonet attached to the gun, albeit for short periods of time.

Despite the unique firing system and the complex electronic engine powering the chainsaw, the LWP has proven to be reliable under stress testing; though it is not on the same level of the AK series firearms, full weapons jams are rare, and the weapon can usually be cleaned without removing most of the internals, making the full and complicated dis-assembly unnecessary. The chainsaw bayonet is powered by an electric engine, and while it will definitely be effective as a melee weapon and as a lethal weapon, it will only run for 5 minutes off of a battery charge. Also keep in mind that while it will easily kill someone, comically sawing the person in half is not feasible or recommended.

A rechargeable battery is embedded in the over-sized clip which accounts for its size. It is rechargeable, but it holds a large amount of power and will take approximately 2-3 hours to charge the first 100 times. Because of this portion taking up most of the size of the clip, a clip of ammunition holds only 40 rounds, down from what one would expect looking at it; it fires standard 5.56x45mm NATO round which helps keep recoil manageable without the use of a stock, although a stock is an option, as are optical sights and silencers. Range, as mentioned before, is average; the effective range is around 415 meters firing on automatic and tops out at 500 meters if firing single shots. The rate of fire is 550 RPM.

Stealth Weaponry
This section of the catalog for weapons that are highly concealable, in one way or another, whether by appearance, firing method, or construction.

The Liberator Mk II has been designed and manufactured for the same purpose of the original Liberator pistol, which was to be a weapon that could be produced cheaply and dropped, en mass, over an occupied area to give any resistance fighters there a potential weapon against occupiers. The main purpose for it is to be used to kill or disable an enemy soldier so that you can get a better weapon from them. Despite this, its small size and low price have also made it a popular personal defense weapon. There are two variants of this weapon, a standard variant, and a modified all polymer (no metal) variant.

The FMG was originally constructed as an example of a companies abilities, and was later converted into an airsoft gun, but we at ACCH Weapons Division can see the obvious niche market that this weapon might have. Weighing in at just over 1lb (0.5 kg), this is one of the lightest weapons on the market today; it is composed entirely of high-durability lightweight polymers, and is 100% metal free. This weapon folds up for easy carrying or concealment, and has a small carrying handle at the top, making it easy to pass off as something else; it is also exceptionally small and easy to conceal (only 262mm (10.3 inches) when folded and 503mm (19.8 inches) fully extended), which makes it ideal for a concealed-carry weapon. A permanently mounted high-intensity flashlight is attached over the barrel of the weapon, the batteries of which can be changed when needed. This weapon operates using a highly-modified Glock 18 firing mechanism, but is not terribly similar after the modifications have been made; this weapon can be fired on either semi-automatic or fully automatic mode, with fully automatic being the default setting.

This highly modified Glock 17 has had ALL metal parts removed and replaced with high-density plastic polymers; in addition the barrel and weapon have been slightly modified to fire 9x19mm ceramic bullets. Despite this, it handles and feels like the ordinary Glock 17, although a bit lighter. While the plastic polymers increase the durability of the weapon against corrosion, this also means that regular maintenance is important as the plastic parts are not as strong as their metal counterparts; when cleaned and maintained regularly, it has the same life-expectancy as the standard Glock 17's. This is a weapon you may have seen in books or obscure weapon references, but it is not in production once again. This offers an extremely good line of self defense, consisting of brass knuckles, a knife, and a pistol that folds up and fits into your pocket. A short barrel has been added in this variant of the original design, giving it an effective range of 10 meters. Chambered in the .38 caliber, this weapon is no toy and will quickly end any encounter no matter which way it is used. Simple, small .22mm weapon system that can be installed in any tire-gauge or similar object, the mechanism utilizes a firing pin being pulled back via spring with a spring and a small knob being pulled back and slid into place; at that point a press of the trigger will trigger the weapon to fire its .22 load approximately 6-10 feet accurately.

Another small mechanism that can be installed in any mid-size or large watch or pocket-watch or similarly sized round object. The barrel opening is concealed as a knob on the watch, and closing the face of the watch cocks it. This mechanism is similar to the Zippo one, only triggered by an assigned button push. Firing a single ceramic .22 shot out of a port on the phone, it is accurate to about 10 feet. Two optional kits exist for this weapon; the first, and far cheaper one, basically requires you to hollow out the phone. The other enables you to install it while still keeping the phone operational, and includes software that will send an electrical charge from the phone to trigger the firing mechanism. The second is also reusable if the phone survives the trauma; the cheaper model usually breaks the hollowed out phone. SHOTGUNS

The TRC-Shotgun or Tactical Room Cleaner-Shotgun was taken from the design of the Amsel Striker, modified for reproduction and improved in several ways. The TRC-S holds 12+1 shotgun shells in its rotating drum and is semi-automatic; it is capable of firing 12 gauge shells, slugs, rubber bullets, or other less lethal rounds, which means it can easily clean a room full of hostiles, using either lethal or non-lethal means. The weapon features an automatic ejection system and a cocking lever that winds the drum; it fires in semi-automatic mode, but has a capability to fire in fully automatic mode, albeit with a slow firing rate. This is a highly modified version of the AUG system, re-designed and adapted for use as a sniper rifle; the bull-pup design allows the barrel to be much longer than it normally is on conventionally sniper rifles, without adding a lot of additional length. Although loosely based on the AUG, it has been effectively redesigned for a higher caliber cartridge and longer range accuracy. A modification on the older-style M-14 rifle, this has been adapted for much longer ranges; a new, bolt-action has replace the older semi-automatic, rails have been added, and a threaded barrel allows for adaptation and addition of a silencer. The zoom is electronic and features adjustable optics at settings of 2x, 4x, 6x, and 8x by default, with an electronic zoom that will go to 10x, albeit with less accuracy; an emergency, non-electrical, set of sights is also included, and is accessible even when the scope is attacked, via ring-mounts. The Hornet Class VTOL Assault Variant (HCA) is the first and most widely used Hornet Class vehicle in operation today within the ACCH and has become the cornerstone of the airborne military division. The HCA variant was the first type of VTOL vehicle developed outside of standard helicopters when the airforce was reformed and put a much greater level of importance on rotor and VTOL aircraft. As the first variant, it is not as specialize as its predecessors, and was built to be able to simultaneously handle air-air, air-ground, and special operations combat. The aircraft has been specifically ruggedized and shielded to protect it against Electro-Magnetic Pulses to prevent the Electronic Warfare Systems from going down. The craft has been armored in what most would consider "medium" class; it is slightly above the rating of most armored helicopters. A classified type of advanced alloy armor has been used, but it is not invincible by any means; it is highly resistant to small-arms fire with a mid-rating against standard explosives; it can withstand some anti-air and one or two SAM hits, but not sustained SAM fire.

The cockpit has been sealed with an advanced climate control system, ensuring that the pilot is protected against any chemical, biological, or radiation threat; in the event of an electronic failure however, the older climate control will take over and NBC protection will not apply. Should the vehicle become disabled, unless a specific abort code is entered the pilot cabin will eject and the Overload Device (see armaments) will be deployed. 2 Advanced Chimera Engines power the ceramic bladed rotors and the rest craft; these engines were designed to produce enough power to feasibly sustain the craft even if one ceases to operate (this will only power the mechanical and some of the electronic systems, but will still easily sustain the craft); they were designed to operate even when damaged and under the harshest conditions on earth; fuel efficiency is not particularly good but reliability is second to none.

The Electronic Warfare System developed from the ground up for the HCA is second to none. On-board computers establish uplink with command bases, other crafts, and any other set sources to set and constantly update IFF information; IFF information can also be entered manually if necessary, which is done easily using the manual targeting control. The IFF system has been extensively tested and has a failure rate of less than .05%; with weapons under full computer control missiles have never hit friendly aircraft, with a stray bullet hit occurring less than 1 per 10,000 rounds fired. The Electronic Warfare System utilizes the IFF to the point that a firing solution will not be considered if there is a chance that friendly-fire may occur. All command up-links are secure and utilize an upgradable 8192-bit encryption system and will not be accepted by the craft unless the encryption is precise. A hardened sensor package on the front of the craft will constantly relay visual and other important information to the command center via the same secure encryption.

On-board auto-guidance utilizes an advanced GPS system and is capable of fully-automated operation with coordinates being provided by the pilot and/or the command center. In remote or fully automated operation system it is capable of interfacing with the EWS to provide an almost completely automated system, with pilot control and correction needed infrequently; fully automated operation or "drone" operation is not recommended for safety purposes; in the event of electronic failure a trained pilot will be necessary.

Despite its technological sophistication, it is operable with and without electronic assistance at approximately the same level as a standard military helicopter, making adaptation exceptionally easy for any trained military pilots. The cockpit looks extremely complex at first glance, but after adapting, one sees that the complexity is made up mostly of an immersive Heads-Up Display with displays for almost every function of the navigation and EWS for monitoring; controls for these are complex, but are usually unnecessary, and a proper training regiment can quickly get them up to speed on the controls. Other than the basic piloting controls common to all rotor-craft, there are both integrated stick, and separate electronic weapon controls to ensure weapon operations whether the EWS is online or not.

The EWS is capable of all weapons operations, but only when set to do so by the pilot; it can take commands from the pilot, any of which can be over-ridden by a remote, secure command base. There are several settings available: full automated control, full automated control on pilot's command, pilot confirmation firing, command confirmation firing, selective firing, full pilot control, remote secure command control, and custom controls which can be configured by either the pilot or via a secure command uplink. Craft controls are via a sophisticated electronic interface with electronic outputs in the cock-pit glass; there is a pilot's helmet with a simplified HUD in the case of flight cabin window damage or instrument damage or if there is instrument failure and the EWS systems continue to operate. There are also older mechanical gauges for emergency used.

The HCA, while ruggedized, has many fail-safes in place in the event of a catastrophic electronics failure which could be caused by extensive damage or a close-range electronics failure; new technology has been seamlessly meshed with older and more reliable technology, ensuring that in the event of an electronics failure, the aircraft will not only continue to operate and remain airborne, but is still able to fight and defend itself and eventually return to base for a refitting. Weapon capabilities will be limited in the event of such a failure, and the pilot will have to operate the weapons manually, without firing solutions, reducing their effectiveness. For this reason, we recommend that pilots still be fully trained in both operations and weapons use that you would need on a standard rotor-craft, despite its ease of use when its systems are online.

The .50 Machine Guns were designed and implemented to be used against soft ground targets at mid-range; in the event of a catastrophic electronic system failure, they can be shifted to an air target configuration, although effectiveness against armored air targets will be questionable unless aimed at weak areas or cockpits. The 20mm electronically powered 20mm Gatling Cannons are the main anti-air weapon, effective against helicopters and slow-moving aircraft at mid-long range; targeting is done automatically by the on-board computer targeting system to ensure accuracy and firing solutions that will be accurate 96.8% of the time, thus conserving ammunition and making the vehicle much more effective. In the event of a catastrophic electronics failure, the guns will cease to function and can be dropped by an emergency lever to decrease weight.

The STINGR (Shielded Tactical InterNally Guided Ranged) Missile Systems were developed exclusively for the Hornet Class ships; they have sophisticated internal guidance systems and are shielded against Electro-Magnetic Pulses to prevent failure. The miniature missiles are designed to lock onto any large target, and were created as an "air-air" weapon meaning that they were designed for use against other aircraft, but specifically track air targets that are emitting electronic signatures, which helps defeat counter-measures. Their effectiveness against armored ground targets are limited due to their size and nature; again, they were designed for use against air targets. The RF (Rapid Fire) Missile Launchers were designed to fire all 15 of their miniature STINGR missiles simultaneously, although they can be fired individually or in groups in the Electronic Warfare System designates them to; they will then each individually lock onto the target immediately after fire, which gives them a better chance at avoiding counter-measures. All miniature STINGR missiles require an electronic firing solution to be provided and directly interface with the electronic warfare systems; they will not function in the event of a catastrophic electronics failure. Again, in the event of such a failure, they can be dropped from the craft to reduce weight, but this is not recommended except in emergency situations.

The full-sized STINGR missiles carry a much larger explosive load, but function the same way the Miniature STINGR missiles do in that they are individually guided, capable of locking onto a target independently and tracking electronic and heat signatures. They were designed to take out armored ground targets, but are also effective against air targets as well, despite the fact that they are more likely to be defeated by counter-measures than the miniature STINGR missiles. The full-sized STING missiles have a secondary back-up system that allows them to be fired even in the event of a catastrophic electronics failure; the missiles receive a constant feed of information from the Electronic Warfare System and stores it, thus ensuring that if the system goes down, the missiles will still have all IFF information, and thus will not hit any target that has been previously designated as friendly.

The included counter-measure flares are of standard design; they are mounted externally and can function in the event of an electronics failure. The Overload Device is equipped on every vehicle; in the event of a mechanical and electronic failure and a pilot ejection, the OD will engage and several things will occur: the EWS, Navigation, and Onboard Computer systems will be erased and then fried, all ordinance will lock into place and arm, and the OD will ignite the fuel tank and simultaneously detonate all armed ordinance, thoroughly destroying the craft so it cannot be recovered or reverse-engineered by the enemy.

The Hornet Class VTOL Transport Variant (HCT) was developed for ferrying troops or cargo across long distances; the VTOL capabilities and quiet running engines make it ideal for troop insertion or getting cargo somewhere undetected. The HCT is equipped with a sophisticated navigation system a few generations ahead of the HCA navigation systems; this system takes a lot more things into account such as exact cargo weight, current and predicted fuel usage based on exact cargo weight, detection avoidance, , and highly advanced evasive movements and countermeasures. While the HCT has longer range, higher transport capacity, and more advanced navigation, this comes at the expense of the lack of the sophisticated EWS and armor-rating of the HCA.

As with all Hornet Class VTOLs, the craft is extensively ruggedized against all known forms of radiation, electronic interferance, and Electro-Magnetic Pulses (EMP) to ensure that the electronics systems always continue to function. Despite this, extreme damage could damage or disable the electronics systems, and the craft is capable of running with all electronic systems down, on mechanical mode only. The cock-pit is sealed against NBC threats, but only when specifically sealed as the cock-pit is by default open to the cargo area; it is also fitted with an ejection system in the event of cataclysmic damage or if the OD device must fire.

Like the HCA, an advanced sensor relay package is embedded in the nose of the craft to relay all information to both the pilot and command via a secure 8192-bit encryption signal. The Advanced Chimera Mk III engines, while heavier, provide more power and have been redesigned specifically to be much quieter, making an almost silent-running craft, with the only real noise being produced by the rotors themselves. Craft controls are via a sophisticated electronic interface with electronic outputs in the cock-pit glass; there is a pilot's helmet with a simplified HUD in the case of flight cabin window damage or instrument damage. There are also older mechanical gauges for emergency used.

The HCT is lightly armored to reduce weight; it will still withstand small-arms fire, and a good amount of higher caliber bullets, but missiles will cause damage, and more than 2 direct hits will likely cause the vehicle to be forced to land or activate the OD. That being said, it isn't hard to see why the EWS is less sophisticated than the Assault Variant, and a more advanced navigation system has been put in place; the vehicle is capable of flying autonomously better than many trained pilots are capable of. Although full automation is easily possible, recommended operation is always human-piloting with advanced navigation assistance; the on-board systems will make the craft pilot-able by almost anyone with even basic navigation experience (although, as a matter of safety, we always recommend training pilots to operate the craft properly should the electronic systems fail). All controls are able to be modified or over-ridden by a secure command link.

The navigation system is also capable of altitude locking easily, a feature that makes dropping troops via quick-ropes (there are 8 hook-ups) an easy feat. The doors on the side of the craft are more heavily armored than the rest of the craft and are designed to withstand substantial small-arms fire; standard operating procedure is to fly with the doors open unless safety does not allow it. A decent amount of cargo can be stored in the craft itself, but its real cargo capabilities are carrying cargo underneath it using its sophisticated magnetic lift cargo system. Any metal cases or vehicles can be easily secured to the craft with its powerful electro-magnet system. The magnet can be disengaged at any point to drop the cargo. All cargo is, automatically, also attached to 2-4 high-tension cables that are able to carry 10 times the maximum weight; this is to ensure that the cargo will not be lost in the event of an electronics failure. The cables do not need to be attached and can be over-ridden electronically and manually in the event that you may need to engage in rapid cargo transport. Should the OD engage, the pilot will need to make a choice to drop the cargo, or keep it and have the electronics in it fried and likely destroyed with the rest of the craft.

The armaments on this craft are light; two standard .50 caliber machine guns are on either side of the door; these are not electronically controlled, but must be manned by human gunners; this was done because of the sophisticated navigation and lack of the EWS systems found on other variants. The forward mounted missile pods, on the other hand, are a different story. Some of the most advanced ordinance we have are loaded into the craft. The STINGR (Shielded Tactical InterNally Guided Ranged) Mk II missiles have been redesigned to incorporate an EMP pulse, as well as to defeat counter-measures 8.5/10 times by further refining the tracking software; they are controlled by a separate electronic targeting system that provides firing solutions to the missiles which are, of course, constrained by an IFF system; as with the older models, in the event of an electronics failure, they can be fired mechanically, but will only track and destroy targets that were designated by the computer systems before they failed; this may be disabled and the missiles may be fired "blind" by the pilot with no tracking abilities.

Advanced Counter-Measures are also included, which have been redesigned to provide heat signatures, electronic signatures, emission signatures, radiation signatures, and pieces of metal alloys common to aircraft; a mini-STINGR Mk II missile is also included in the Counter-Measure package, which will lock on and attempt to disable or detonate the incoming ordinance.

The HCT's real asset is it's speed; while it should always be used in areas where air superiority has already been, or is being established, the speed of this craft leaves even the HCA in the dust. No helicopter-type vehicle will be able to keep up, so the only real concern is fixed-wing aircraft which, hopefully, will be few in number and will not be significantly ruggedized enough to avoid being disabled by the EMP in the STINGR missiles. The Overload Device is equipped on every vehicle; in the event of a mechanical and electronic failure and a pilot ejection, the OD will engage and several things will occur: the Navigation and Onboard Computer systems will be erased and then fried, all ordinance will lock into place and arm, and the OD will ignite the fuel tank and simultaneously detonate all armed ordinance, thoroughly destroying the craft so it cannot be recovered or reverse-engineered by the enemy.

The Hornet Class VTOL - Air Superiority Variant was designed specifically for fighting aerial targets, specifically enemy fighter planes/jets. The VTOL requirement required a unique redesign and the employment of an extremely complex and expensive stabilization system that incorporates a mechanical back-up. The electronic stability is controlled by the on-board EWS systems, but the mechanical back-up system employed to keep the vehicle under control in the event of an electronics failure, was extremely expensive to develop and produce; this is reflected in the price. Because of the craft's unique look and ability, it's "wings" are actually the VTOL lift engines and turbines that lock into place and are controlled by the EWS and navigation to enable the craft to use these as wings and operate as a normal fighter jet would.

The on-board EWS systems are the most advanced yet released by the ACCH WD, as they take every atmospheric, physical, and mechanical factor into account for all operations to ensure that the craft remains stable in the air and can out-maneuver other, more aerodynamic fighters. The EWS and Advanced Navigation Systems give the craft the ability to be flown just like a normal plane rather than more complicated fighter jets, and an advanced IFF and detection system ensure that absolutely no friendly fire occurs on the battlefield.

The cock-pit is hermetically sealed, and features an ejection system in the event of catastrophic damage or system failure; as with the other Hornet Class VTOLs, the cockpit interface has relatively simple mechanical controls with a holographic interface utilizing fiber-optics and cockpit glass projection. The EWS is capable of all weapons operations, but only when set to do so by the pilot; it can take commands from the pilot, any of which can be over-ridden by a remote, secure command base. There are several settings available: full automated control, full automated control on pilot's command, pilot confirmation firing, command confirmation firing, selective firing, full pilot control, remote secure command control, and custom controls which can be configured by either the pilot or via a secure command uplink. Craft controls are via a sophisticated electronic interface with electronic outputs in the cock-pit glass; there is a pilot's helmet with a simplified HUD in the case of flight cabin window damage or instrument damage or if there is instrument failure and the EWS systems continue to operate. There are also older mechanical gauges for emergency use. As with the other Hornet Crafts, electronic controls are complex, but usually unnecessary as the EWS and Navigation systems handle 90% of the hard work normally; the craft can be operated mechanically with all weapon capabilities manually, and can also be controlled electronically by the operator exclusively, but this is not recommended as most pilots cannot handle electronic operation without EWS assistance.

On-board auto-guidance utilizes an advanced GPS system and is capable of fully-automated operation with coordinates being provided by the pilot and/or the command center. In remote or fully automated operation system it is capable of interfacing with the EWS to provide an almost completely automated system, with pilot control and correction needed infrequently; fully automated operation or "drone" operation is not recommended for safety purposes; in the event of electronic failure a trained pilot will be necessary.

To get the craft to ideal lift weight, and due to the weight of the engines and weapons systems, armor is not substantial. It can withstand standard anti-aircraft measures, and it does employ advanced alloys and polymers to ensure safety, but the craft is not a tank. It has about the same endurance you would expect from any other fighter craft, with the notable exception that all systems have been hardened to prevent EMP, radiation, and electronic interference. Due to this, advanced countermeasures have been applied to the aircraft. In addition to the standard flares, more advanced anti-missile systems have been employed that are designed to detonate or deter standard fighter or surface to air missiles; when operated by the EWS, these systems have a 94% success rate, failing only in limited situations, or if there is too much ordinance, or if the ordinance is unavoidable.

Weapon systems have been upgraded substantially from the other Hornets. While a 20mm cannon is housed under the nose, this is usually housed inside the actual nose, and is lowered electronically when needed; should electronic systems fail, the bay doors can be blown by explosive bolts which will shift the gun into its usual position, but it cannot be retracted in the air at that point.

While ruggedized, the craft has many fail-safes in place in the event of a catastrophic electronics failure which could be caused by extensive damage or a close-range electronics failure; new technology has been seamlessly meshed with older and more reliable technology, ensuring that in the event of an electronics failure, the aircraft will not only continue to operate and remain airborne, but is still able to fight and defend itself and eventually return to base for a refitting. Weapon capabilities will be limited in the event of such a failure, and the pilot will have to operate the weapons manually, without firing solutions, reducing their effectiveness. For this reason, we recommend that pilots still be fully trained in both operations and weapons use that you would need on a standard fighter jet, despite its ease of use when its systems are online.

On top of the craft are the most sophisticated weapons systems we have yet put on the air-fighting market. Over-sized SWARM missile launchers, each housing 11 SWARM missiles. SWARM missiles are like STINGR missiles, shielded, guided, and integrated with the EWS, but they are much larger; in flight the missile break apart into 12 smaller missiles, one with a huge explosive warhead, which are designed to defeat standard countermeasure systems and deliver multiple hits in one missile, usually able to destroy or substantially damage an enemy fighter with just one missile. Firing solutions are worked out by the EWS and thus are always accurate and IFF systems ensure that absolutely no friendly fire ever occurs. The SWARM missiles are all guided by the EWS which calculates and adapts firing solutions as they are in the air to avoid, or intercept countermeasures. The SWARM missiles can also be used to intercept incoming enemy missiles if the EWS determines that countermeasures are not sufficient, or not available.

SWARM missiles are highly destructive, and are capable of breaking apart and having each separate missile approach separately, from different angles, or at different times within a 90 second window before they detonate or are deactivated and fall harmlessly. They have the ability to carry different payloads other than just explosive ones, but by default 2 of them carry EMP charges while 9 carry standard explosives and the 12th carries a high yield explosive charge, specifically designed to rip apart armor near the fuel tank and cause fuel detonation. In the event of electronics failure of the craft, the missiles can be fired and will target only targets designated as "enemy" before the systems failed, or they can be fired blind, heat-seeking, or electronic signature seeking. The missiles' internal guidance will operate regardless of whether the craft's systems are online.

This craft is capable of complete EWS integration with other systems, and although it is not recommended, it can be operated autonomously or remotely.

Brief History:
The idea for the Hornet's Nest Command Vessel came about 3 short years ago, when government representatives approached ACCH airspace, requesting a meeting. At the time, we had absolutely no awareness of this government's existence, as they had been the remnants of a government in exile after a bloody civil war had left them on the losing side; rather than surrender they had taken to the water in what they referred to as a MCF (Mobile Command Fortress) and continued to fight a semi-effective guerrilla war for another 4 months before the vessel had finally taken enough abuse and had been nearly disabled. In exchange for asylum within our borders, they surrendered the ship, all blue-prints and schematics, and had all of their mechanical engineers and the experts who had designed and build it put to work on the development of a new vessel based on the same basic idea and design: a mobile command fortress.

What has emerged from this idea looks strikingly similar to the old vessel; the differences however, end there. The new HNCV (Hornet's Nest Command Vessel) is a mobile fortress, with enough weapons and firepower for a small army, more intelligence and communications equipment than most hardened government facilities, hangers housing 16 VTOL craft for both defensive and offensive operations, and enough facilities, power, and space, to house a small city's worth of people.

Command and Information Center (CIC):
The heart, and most advanced part of this vessel is the CIC (Command and Information Center). The entire section of the ship is heavily shielded against any type of attack: physical, EMP, radiation, biological, ect... Super computers and a large networked system allows extensive amounts of information to be processed and stored, with enough file storage space to ensure that memory will never be an issue. Satellite up-links to surveillance and communications satellites are standard and pre-configured with additional up-link options for OWPs (Orbital Weapons Platforms), ICBM Detection satellites or arrays, and any number of other orbital system equipped with modern technology. A dedicated secure communications satellite is launched and configured to interface with each of these ships (the access codes can, of course, be changed by the customer) and provide constant instantaneous global communication. Additional up-link capabilities are also provided for both remote and automated drone control, although drones are not included with the vessel. The on-board systems are capable of interfacing with almost any conceivable system, which allows remote access to secure facilities and any weapons launch platforms, ensuring that even if a government is overrun and pushed onto the sea, they can still have access to their nation's WMDs.

While almost any conceivable system can run on this hardware, the real processing power is reserved for the recent completion of a ship-wide sophisticated Electronic Warfare System (EWS). This system is capable of intelligently defending the ship from attacks with all on-board weapons interfaced (mounted guns, guard towers, anti-air batteries, mines, torpedoes, and other weapons) ; the miss rate of weapons under EWS control is less than .05% and an advanced IFF system prevents any damage to any part of the ship or designated "friendly" target. The real advancement in the EWS that we have installed and configured on this ship is the remote control systems. Any consumer who has read about our Hornet Class VTOL Assault and Air Superiority variants knows about the EWS systems that they carry and that they are able to function semi-autonomously or remotely if necessary; the HNCV's much more powerful EWS can interface with these VTOLs and control them fully. By default, these remote functions still require some amount of human imput, but can function without it if configured.

DUE TO NUMEROUS CONCERNS: By default, the EWS is only in full control of Hornet Class VTOL crafts in a defensive emergency situation; any other usage must be granted by a human operator unless specifically configured otherwise. We must also inform all consumers that there have been several fail-safes in place due to EWS concerns:
1. A non-networked EMP device is contained in the EWS computer core; in an emergency situation, specific command codes can trigger this to disable the EWS system; one wrong entry will lock-out the device. A similar device also exists in the core-system's processing core. These were implemented to combat theoretical scenarios where the EWS would somehow become a problem.
2. Any non-default autonomous operation must be approved using a command-override code.
3. All combat systems can still be operated by human operators if the EWS is shut-off, EMP'd or otherwise disabled.

That being said, after extensive testing, we have found that while the EWS is fully capable of handling any level of combat scenarios autonomously, we always recommend that human operators be left in the loop, as we have deliberately made sure that the learning capabilities of the EWS is extremely limited to prevent unexpected developments in the software. It will record and alter strategies based on all combat scenarios that have been programmed in and any that it encounters, but it is unable to make the intuitive leaps that humans are sometimes capable of. Although this is theoretically possible, we have PHYSICALLY made sure that neither the hardware, nor the software, can be modified to work in this manner. (And no, we will NOT distribute or sell ways to do this as testing has showed us the importance of preventing run-away VI; ACCH's EWS systems are not, and never will be, AI or Artificial Intelligence).

In addition to the above the CIC center incorporates advanced radar and sonar arrays, a sophisticated communications, GPS, and electronics jammer (can be used to jam specific frequencies only if desired), and an advanced radio transmission tower, all under direct control and easily operated by human operators. The center-piece of this array is the jamming unit; it's primary purpose is to prevent missile-locks or other forms of electronic lock-on's or guided weapons. It also allows for any electronic signal within 5 miles to be completely concealed; it also works inversely as a jammer normally would, able to disable any electronic signals or frequencies (or specific ones) for 5 miles and prevent any external communication if desired; it is also able to make a "shield" around the ship in a radius of 5 miles that will prevent GPS surveillance and lock-ons. The radar system is advanced, but is what you would expect from a new model advanced radar system; the sonar is about the same as what you would expect from a modern submarine. The transmission tower allows the vessel to broadcast on virtually any frequency, whether for open communications, government messages, or something as simple as music or basic information. When employed with the jammer, it can ensure that no transmission can travel beyond the 5 mile range. On top of this setup is a mounted laser which is controlled by the EWS and used to detonate incoming missiles that cannot have their missile-lock defeated or are fired "blind". While not a perfect system, it can eliminate most oncoming missiles on the market today.

In another room, still technically part of the CIC due to it being ruggedized and hardened, is a secondary control room that looks a number of years old; while it is actually new, most of the instruments and parts are mechanical and rely very little on any electrical circuits; all electrical systems in this room are based on ole designs that were resistant to EMP's by their nature. The secondary control room is able to operate the deck lifts, weapons, reactor, ship navigation, and several other things, even when all electrical parts of the ship no longer function properly' this ensures that in the event of a catastrophic electrical failure, the ship can continue to operate all important and essential systems, and can still be maintained and used for years to follow.

Lifeboats are relatively standard; solid lifeboats can accommodate 3000 individuals, while enough inflatable lifeboats are included to carry 8000 more people. A small launch-able, underwater, lifeboat is also included, and can accommodate 30; this is intended for use by commanders or important ship personnel as this craft has a much better chance at avoiding detection.

Facilities:
The on-board hospital includes everything a normal medical staff would need to treat anything from common issues to cancer treatment and organ transplantation; despite this, it makes no huge leaps forward and uses medical equipment that, while good, is nothing terribly new. The armory is about what you would expect, locking steel doors, quartermaster quarters, extensive arms storage, and room for 15,000 guns minimum, as well as a lower level for munitions storage. Barracks are included for up to 4000 people (8000 using the "Hot-Bunking" system) which allows the ship to maintain a large contingent of soldiers, commanders, and support staff. Waste-management, sewage, and rest facilities are what one would expect; water recycling is about 93%, although large on-board desalinators that are triple-redundant make water-management almost a non-issue. In addition to the standard armory, arms lockers exist in virtually every area of the ship to ensure that weapons are always close by.

The cafeteria is able to hold about 500-750 people at any given time, and the cooking area incorporates all of the most common and useful kitchen appliances that a normal kitchen would have, although there are notably more of them due to the number of people on-board and redundancies to ensure that there are plenty of extras in-case of non-repairable mechanical failure. Storage areas stretch across the bottom of the ship; all of which are flood-able and equipped with water-tight doors. The research facility included on-board is built mainly for biological and viral research and is geared that direction, but the clean-rooms, super-computers, and multi-purpose research equipment means that it is not limited to these functions.

The maintenance bay incorporates a large re-fueling station with a large-amount of fuel storage, parts and equipment to maintain all on-board facilities as well as weapons and vehicles, and computers. Most of the ship's NBC and radiation suits are also stored here, mainly because they are required for any emergency reactor maintenance or repairs. The equipped greenhouse is housed in triple re-enforced bullet-proof glass, with a secondary one underneath that equipped with artificial sun lamps, ensuring that even if, for some reason, the primary greenhouse is damaged, there will still be more ways to grow and make food.

The VTOL pads go down into the hanger, which is right next to the maintenance bay, where the VTOL craft are stored by default; sliding steel covers the pads by default when they are lowered to protect the VTOLs and interior from the elements, and to keep the deck clear. The pads are raised or lowered by default to get the VTOLs to the deck, although if time does not allow, the VTOLs can take off from the pads when they are in the hanger, as long as the top covers are open. In the event of some type of door jam/failure, explosive bolts will open the covers, and they will not be able to close again until the mechanism, or whatever the problem is, is repaired. There is plenty of space for the

Armament:
While the main purpose of the HCNV is to be a mobile command center, or a carrier of VTOL craft for missions, that is not to say it is without weapons. (12) STINGR arrays are scattered across the deck, each with over-sized capacity, able to hold 16 missiles at once; these are the STINGR Mk III missiles that can deliver EMP surges to other vessels or air-craft to bring them down before they become a major threat. A group of 3 mounted gun clusters, each with (3) mounted frontal guns can deliver 100mm explosive shells, enough to severely damage any vessel that it comes into contact with; they can also be loaded with AA shells, on the off chance that they are needed as additional anti-aircraft weapons; if this is done, we HIGHLY recommend using the EWS to provide firing solutions.

A large compartment in the back of the ship can be opened to expose a mine-launcher, which essentially just drops the mines in a specific order, making sure they don't all just come out at once. There are two types of sea mines that are loaded by default; one is a surface mine, which is camouflaged and floats just 1.5-3 meters just under the surface; these are designed to take out any vessel that may be pursing or cause an issue; they can also be set to float on the water, or just under it. The second type of included sea-mines are deep water mines, and can be configured to sink to specific depths or randomized depths; these are designed mainly for securing deep water around the ship against submarines. In addition to the mines, electronic buoys can also be deployed that are designed to send out a false signature to any electronic tracking system or devices to throw them off and will act as decoys.

Several armed guard towers are on deck, and mainly serve to eliminate enemy infantry on other ships or islands; by default they are automated and controlled by the EWS using an advanced IFF system, but they are also easily manned by personnel either in the actual guard towers, or inside the control room. Spotlights are also mounted with the guns, which is useful in illuminating the deck at night as well as aiding in rescuing off-board personnel and providing light to fire by when the guard towers are manned by personnel instead of controlled electronically.

Finally, on the front of the ship, there are several torpedo tubes and missile launchers, embedded into the ship itself. The torpedoes are specifically designed to sink or extensively damage submarines, as these are the greatest threats to the HNCV; they use specific mechanisms designed to damage and punch holes in the hull of the submarines, mainly to sink or disable them so that they are no longer a threat. These torpedoes are designed with the same basic guidance of the STINGR missiles, and are actually of the same designation as they fire the same type of shielded and guided torpedoes. The secondary missile launchers are loaded with electronic counter-measures that are designed to intercept and/or disable any incoming missiles or ordinance fired at the vessel from the water (i.e. other torpedoes and similar ordinance).

Another of the combat functions that are included, mainly as a last resort, is a revenge mode. When this is enabled, the EWS will assume full and total control of the ship and all of its combat systems, and will attack any non-friendly target, carry-out any mission assigned to it, OR it can be set to respond to any threat to itself with force. If enabled, a setting exists where the ship will overload its reactors to destroy itself in the event that anyone, or anyone not designated as friendly, boards or attempts to board it. Revenge mode exists for when the vessel needs to be evacuated, or for when most of the crew is dead, or simply as a semi-autonomous combat platform; Revenge mode allows secure uploads of new data or targets via satellite (if enabled), but it can also be locked out so that it will carry out its mission (whether objectives or simply existing and attacking any enemy targets that come near it) until the reactors fail or it detonates the reactors and destroys itself.

Denial System:
As with all of ACCH's vehicles, and especially with one this advanced, a denial system exists to ensure that this vessel never falls into enemy hands. Should it be triggered, either by a command code, a revenge mode countermeasure, or because of being captured, several things will occur. Please note that there will be no audio warning. First, all computer EMP charges will fire and fry all of the computers, servers, memory, and processors. Secondly, the reactors will be overloaded; this combined with a small OD system that incorporates a small nuclear weapon that will be fired simultaneously, will completely and thoroughly destroy the ship and any boarding/attacking force near it.

Unless the Revenge system is active, the EWS cannot deploy this system by itself unless lock-out mode is employed, it can only make recommendations to deploy it. Even if the vessel is captured, it can be triggered by an emergency command code transmitted via satellite. Lock-out mode occurs when any commanding officer enters a certain command sequence; this will enable everything to become encrypted and locked out. No new commands will be able to be entered during this lock-out. The only way to lift the lock-out is to enter a specific and complex command sequence. 3 incorrect attempts will trigger the system, although it can be set to trigger with 2 or even 1 incorrect attempts.

Remember that all of the command systems can be used with any level of human involvement, and are all customizable. They can be run fully autonomously, or with full human input needed and everywhere in-between. Default configurations use a hybrid of the two, but always keep in mind that it is always safest to have some human input in the equation.
