About us

Estovakian National Armaments is the cornerstone of the South Estovakia arms manufacturing complex. Founded in 1934, our mission has always been to provide the South Estovakian military and the armies of the world with exceedingly modern, competent weapons, equipment, and ammunition. We always strive to provide you with the best products available at little cost to you compared to other major manufacturers.

History
Estovakian National Armaments was founded back in the days before the first South Estovakian Civil War, before the inclusion of South Estovakia into the Ruescher Empire. This was during the time of South Estovakia, in 1934, when it was ruled by it's own King named Johnathon Strauss, that allowed people to do as they please, so long as they didn't directly interfere with his government. During this time, ENA was a privately owned corporation.

In 1950, the coup that led to the series of High Lord ruled councils in South Estovakia happened, and a group of High Lords came to power, crushing any semblance of resistance to them that ever sprang out. In 1956 when South Estovakia joined the Ruescher Empire, he King passed the "South Estovakian Economic Security Act," which allowed the government the right to take over any corporation whenever it wanted, and basically destroyed free enterprise in South Estovakia. They took over ENA a year later, the day the law went into effect.

By this time ENA had become one of the largest companies in South Estovakia, producing large numbers of M14s and other, South Estovakian designed small arms.

In 1968, the Sudmark Civil War broke out, and ENA, under the leadership of Paul Abenrot was an integral part of the success of the rebellion. Abenrot had been part of the council that had planned the rebellion, and he, along with most of the ENA leadership were smuggled out of the Sudmark Capital and into rebel territory in 1969, as at this point the rebels controlled several key production facilities and large areas in the north.

Weapons and ammunition were scarce for the rebels, so Abenrot immediately went to work getting the few plants they had running. The rest of ENAs plants in said country were still producing weapons for the government.

On May 19th of 1972, Abenrot was killed by an artillery barrage while he was on the factory floor of an ENA plant near the Western border of Sudmark and South Estovakia.

When the war ended in 1982, Abenrot son was in control of ENA, and he was given a choice by the new King of South Estovakia. He could keep the company under government control, or he could make it private again. He decided that with closer ties to the government, ENA would more easily distribute its products, and thus, more easily make a profit.

Today, ENA is the primary supplier of arms to South Estovakia, and is still state owned, albeit now partially owned by other individuals, institutions, and governments.

Guide to our products

With such a wide array of systems available here, the amount of information may become so nauseating that it is quite difficult to decide on a product. For your support role, does a LAW or an M22 LMG suit you better? To remedy this, we have included a guide to our products here, which also includes quite a bit on our design philosophy.

Design Philosophy

Since its inception, ENA has always had the need to provide its customers with quality products, in large quantities, while maintaining a reasonable price. To do this, all of our designs have been centered around quality rather than quantity.

As our founder, David Greenbourogh put it,"Is it not better to have 10 rifles that will last 100 years than 100 rifles that will last 10 years?" Our ultimate objective is to provide you 100 rifles that will last 100 years.

All of our small arms are produced with high quality polymers, steel, and aircraft-grade aluminum. If it can't be dropped out of a plane at half a kilometer, and survive to the point where it can fire, we don't believe we have any business selling it. Before any of our weapons leave the factory, each one is hand inspected for errors, and if any flaws are found, it is sent back for repair, or if necessary, thrown out entirely.

As Estovakian doctrine always emphasized, and as South Estovakian doctrine does now, accuracy is the most crucial attribute of a weapon, beyond anything else. We carry that belief deeply here. All of our weapons are designed and machined with techniques designed to maximize accuracy.

And of course, cost is a huge factor in any industry. While we don't boast of the lowest prices in the industry, we also use production strategies that keep costs down, and the influx of South Estovakian government money certainly doesn't hurt either.

Role

Before you even consider buying one of our products, you must have a clear purpose in mind. If you want to hit a target at 900 meters, you don't really need to buy a handgun. An M8 will be all but useless though in CQB applications. You need to keep the type of product you want, and its purpose in mind throughout the process of buying from ENA.

Limitations

There is not a single piece of equipment in our universe that can do anything and everything, and forever. Everything has its limits, and you must keep that in mind when purchasing arms, really purchasing anything. For example, the AALV works great as a transport and is very mobile, but it won't take too many hits.

Say you issued the M8 as your service rifle. All of your troops would be able to hit targets with accuracy at long ranges, effectively creating an army of marksmen. But as soon as you get closer than 700 meters to your target, your men will be horribly outmatched, fighting foes with automatic weapons designed for engagements at that range, while your men have 10 round magazines with oversized bullets, and have to charge the bolt every time they fire.

And, the M8 isn't really that light....

Advantages

Of course, since everything specializes in mostly one general area, you should keep the advantages of a system you are thinking about buying. If you need to replace your array of outdated service rifles, should you go with the more cumbersome, but modular M22, or the SM4A1, a rifle based off a CAR and thus more compact and better suited for CQB.

This sort of goes back to role somewhat. Do you need a force that can operate in a CQB, counter-terrorist role, or a force that is better suited for duking it out in the woods with another professional army?
