While not engaged in 'Peacemaking Operations' PIG is also highly capable in launching, sustaining and completing various non combat 'Peacekeeping Operations' from Counter Terrorism, Law Enforcement and Confidence Building Measures and also Nation building Initiative.

OVERVIEW

Peacemaker International Groups, or more commonly known both affectionately and derogatorily as PIGs, is the largest private military consortium in Aeyariss.

It was established in the year 2010 following the political turmoil in Aeyariss Parliament in which anti Monarchist controlled Opposition had attempted to derail the new Auliadan Administration foreign policy and chose to filibuster major parliamentary debate on the use of Aeyariss Armed Forces for international operations - back then, all major military deployment required the Executive Branch of the government to notify the Legislative Branch. Political bickering and disunity disrupted Aeyariss foreign policy from being actively pursued.

To circumvent Parliamentary Oversight during the then toxic political environment; the Executive Government used loopholes and gray zones in domestic laws and privatization act and decided to combine existing private military corporations under a new umbrella entity called the Peacemaker International Groups. This effectively created a "second military" outside the purview of the Ministry of Defense; and hence Parliamentary oversight.

Although PIGs is officially a listed private company in the security industry; it was classified as a 'sensitive national security asset'; as a result all company statements usually publically available to the Security Commission of Aeyariss is protected under the Official Secrets Act.

Total personnel; total operating budget, earning or other financial statement of PIG is currently classified.
