(OOC: My Japanese is too poor to write you a proper Japanese response or fix the mess translators make. I'm terribly sorry!)

OOC: It was actually more of a challenge aimed at somebody who professed to be a Japanese nation; I don't like it when people try to portray a Japan-based nation without even understanding the ruddy language. Evidently, the fact that you can even use a modicum of Japanese, and the fact that you went to the trouble of using a translator to work out that Japanese, proves that you're not one of those people; thanks a lot for going to the trouble. The Federal Imperial State of Asakura (sorry, I was in a hurry, and forgot about the changes I made to Asakura's governmental structure when I placed the order - :-P)is an integrated alt; I don't like setting up puppets, so it's a nation of about 100 million, an independent protectorate of my Empire, which I roleplay as part of my population; it's a highly modern nation developed along tribal lines quite distinct to that of modern Japan (well, more if you look back to the proto-Yamato days, when there was a monarch, but also a large degree of tribal autonomy). It's nice to see another, proper Japanese nation.

Dear Asai Motors,
our company would like to offer you the chance to engage in a new joint venture. In these tough economic times, it's necessary to do anything to keep costs down, and as such, we're seeking a partner. We have one already - Balna, who are producing a luxury version, but we're seeking a third partner for other expansion.

This is our MPV:

It has a choice of 2.0-litre 115bhp 4-cylinder and 2.8-litre 174bhp V6 petrol, or 2.0-litre/109bhp and 128bhp 4-cylinder turbodiesel engines. A 2.8-litre/201bhp V6 is also being developed, and possibly hybrid versions.

To Markus Ashbolt of Laukisa Automoveis,

Having considered market projections and the desired sales strategy of Asai, Asai must politely decline. At the moment, Asai has no wishes to enter the minivan/MPV market as we attempt to expand our cross-over offerings. Asai will have to decline involvement.

Thank you for your time, we look forward to working with Laukisa Automoveis in the future.

OOC: Sorry again, I'm not really leaning towards a minivan at the moment. I'm working independently on a mid-size crossover to fit the bill for the Model 4 and Model 5 ranges and a large MPV/minibus as a separate series. I once again do appreciate your time and I apologize for being so controlling.

To Charles Demain of Sabiro,

We have finalized the calculations with regards to dealers and tax revenue. Asai Motors will open 19 dealerships across Sabiro with approximately 119 sales per dealership each month for a total of 2,223 sales each month. That's a projection of over 26 thousand cars each year. Approximately $540,767.30 will be paid in tax each month.

We have also prepared invoices for the special orders mentioned. All requests are possible and reasonable and we are very happy to hear Sabiro has chosen Asai as a source of police vehicles. Sabiro will not be disappointed. Asai will not charge Sabiro for vehicle suspension upgrades as a complementary service. Construction of the models will begin immediately with deliveries starting one NS month from now.

To the nation of Tovo Bjela,

We have finalized the calculations with regards to dealers and tax revenue. Asai Motors will open 9 dealerships across Tovo Bjela with approximately 108 sales per dealer each month for a total of 972 sales each month. That's a projection of just under 12 thousand vehicles a year. Approximately $67,660.42 will be paid in income tax each month.

With regards to alternative fuel vehicles, Asai will sell units based on demand and will avoid exporting hydrogen cars. Asai electric vehicles come with a simple 100v-240v wall plug in for at home charging. Any 100 to 240 volt plug may be used. Our sedans and four-wheel drive vehicles will certainly be available.

Thank you for your time and business, we look forward to working with Tovo Bjela.

To Simon Harland of Kalssos Automotive Distribution

We have finalized the calculations with regards to dealers and tax revenue. Asai Motors will open 9,991 dealerships across Astholm with approximately 121 sales per dealer each month for a total of 1,208,911 sales each month. That's a projection of 14.5 million vehicles a year. Approximately $761,799,531.36 will be paid in income tax each month.

With regards to alternative fuel vehicles, Asai will sell units based on demand and will avoid exporting hydrogen cars. Asai electric vehicles come with a simple 100v-240v wall plug in for at home charging. Any 100 to 240 volt plug may be used.

With regards to rebranding the Model2 under the XindaoChevrolet brand, Asai will gladly enter into a joint venture with this company. However, Asai must remain profitable and is protective of its intellectual property. As such, Asai expects 90% of the revenue of C2 CorsellaCiti models with Asai engines. This allows 10% of the revenue to go to XidaoChevrolet – approximately 5% to cover advertising and sales costs while maintaining a 5% profit margin. 75% of the revenue for C2 CorsellaCiti models to be fitted with XidaoChevrolet engines will be expected by Asai as we no longer must incur the costs of engines. XindaoChevrolet must ask for Asai’s expressed permission before exporting the C2 CorsellaCiti.

On this note, Asai would like to construct several factories in Astholm to cope with the demand and to build Xindao’s Model 2 variant. Asai would like to build 3 Full Vehicle assemblies, 3 Body Component assemblies, 4 Final vehicle assemblies, 1 Interior Component assemblies, 1 Knock-down kit assembly, and 3 Mechanical and Powertrain Component assemblies. The one knock-down kit assembly will be responsible for constructing the C2 CorsellaCiti variant of the Model 2. Many parts for the Final vehicle assemblies and knock-down kit assembly will need to be imported from factories in Yasashii. As in Yasashii, local subcontractors will be used for the manufacture of some parts. We hope to directly employ nearly half a million persons in our factories alone and will abide by local labour laws.

Thank you for your time and business, we look forward to working with Astholm.

Masoto Mamoru

With regards to dealerships and sales centres, we have finalized the calculations. We respect the cap of 20 dealerships and the cap of 3 per city and will work within these regulations, though have also prepared figures for non-capped dealer numbers.

Asai Motors would have liked to open 528 normal dealerships across Southern Cynocephali with approximately 123 sales month per dealer and a projection 779,328 vehicles a year. $210,588,083.52 would have been paid in taxes annually at the 15% bracket.

However, due to the cap, the dealerships will have to be restricted to test-drive and model order status only with only demo and display models in inventory unless said dealerships are simply massive. Through this order and deliver oriented system with no inventory to sell immediately, roughly 500 sales may be made each month. In this case, 120,000 vehicles will be sold annually because it will be harder to sell vehicles with a wait time as no vehicles will be available immediately. Approximately $ 2,702,100.38 will be paid income tax each month ($32,425,204.57 annually) at the 15% bracket.

Re: Dealership expansion.

We would like to expand operations of Asai Motors within our nation to the levels previously specified; 528 normal dealerships/approx. 779,328 sales p.a.

We are highly impressed with the models available and seeing the strong demand for the Asai brand within Southern Cynocephali, we felt it was appropriate to expand the dealerships across the nation.

Yours Sincerely,

To Nomadic Peoples of YellowApple,

I would first like to apologize for the delayed response. Data Servers hosting Asai Motors calculation and formula information suffered from unforeseeable data loss.

We have finalized the calculations with regards to dealers and tax revenue. Asai Motors will open 215 dealerships throughout Yellowapple with approximately 114 sales per dealership each month for a total of 24,510 sales each month. That's a projection of just under 300 thousand cars each year. Approximately $32,023,989.83 will be paid in tax each month. Asai will be sure to export only hydrogen and electric variants of its vehicles and will comply with local laws and standards with regards to safety, environmental considerations, and the aforementioned YellowApple VTS.

We have also prepared invoices for the special orders mentioned. All requests are possible and reasonable and we are very happy to hear YellowApple has chosen Asai as a source of vehicles. YellowApple will not be disappointed. Asai will gladly supply the vehicles with primer and no paints and remove the requested components. The headlamp wipers and sunroofs will be provided as a complementary service. Construction of the models will begin immediately with deliveries starting one NS month from now.

Invoice

To Matthieu Jamet, Ministère des Affaires Étrangères of Southern Cynocephali,

I would first like to apologize for the delayed response. Data Servers hosting Asai Motors calculation and formula information suffered from unforeseeable data loss.

We are extremely happy to hear authorization has been given for an expanded dealership network. Asai will adjust its sales and tax payment forecasts to the levels mentioned in our past communications.

On this note, Asai would like to construct three factories in Southern Cynocephali to cope with both the higher domestic sales and international demand. Asai wishes to build 1 Body Component assembly, 1 Final Vehicle assembly, and 1 Mechanical and Powertrain Component assembly. All factories will be connected to Yasashii's international chain of factories and, as in Yasashii, local subcontractors will be used for the manufacture of some parts. All factories will import and export materials and compnents. We hope to directly employ nearly 100,000 persons, full and part-time, in our factories alone and will abide by local labour laws.

Thank you for your time, we look forward to our continued relations with Southern Cynocephali.

We are honored to be given the offer of sponsoring Lilter United and, after reviewing the teams top-notch and second-to-none performance, Asai would indeed like to acquire the sponsorship rights to the team.

We have finalized the calculations with regards to dealers and tax revenue. Asai Motors will open 13 dealerships throughout Powro with approximately 46 sales per dealership each month for a total of 598 sales each month. That's a projection of just over 7.1 thousand cars each year. Approximately $144,900.00 will be paid in tax each month.

Asai will be sure not to export hydrogen variants of its vehicles until a hydrogren infrastructure is available. It should be noted that Asai is expanding into hydrogen and electric vehicle infrastructure in conjunction with Energizia Inc. Asai electric vehicles come with a simple 100-240v wall plug - a wireless charge system is being developed.

All petrol engines are verified to work with bio/flexfuel ethanol mixes up to E85. Diesel engines may run on up to B85 biodiesel. All engines have been shown to run on pure E100 and B100 fuels with minor modifications and tuning that may be performed at dealerships.

Thank you for your time and business, we look forward to working with Powro.

To the corteous attention of Masoto Mamoru (Lead Manager, Asai Foreign Sales Team)

Dear sir,

I'd like to thank you for the response and state that there's no need to apologize as similar problems with computers happens quite often nowadays, so it's completely understandable.

We are excited at the idea to have a distribution pipeline for the Asai autovehicles, however we just ask you to take a look at our factbook http://forum.nationstates.net/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=127020&p=6227759&hilit=powro#p6227759 to evaluate where and how set up eventual flagship stores, subsidiaries, etc.
In any case, we'd like to know when the first cargo of Asai vehicles will arrive to the country in order to wire you the amount of the annual tax payment.

Waiting for your answer, we'd like to thank you for your faith in our nation.

Best regards,

Robert Jeremy Anderson
- President of the Federal Republic of Powro

To The Esteemed Robert Jeremy Anderson of Powro,

We will certainly take Powro's factbook into consideration - our teams assigned to each nation Asai sells its products take local markets and location desirability into account. The Asai team for Powro, when establishing and removing dealerships and operations, will seek out appropriate property in the nation's cities. Our first deliveries should take place in approximately 1 NS month's time, just before the first few dealerships are set to open.

On another note, there seems to be a little error in communication. Asai will pay the government of Powro the amount of its income tax through the normal tax system - Powro owes Asai no money beyond the sales price of any vehicles it may purchase and there is no need for Powro to wire any special funds to Asai. Any subsidies or tax breaks are Powro's decision as per its tax code and Asai seeks to abide by local labour, environmental, safety, and tax laws.

Best Regards,
Masoto Mamoru

To Harwood KSB Automotive,

We are intrigued by your proposal and are receptive. There are, however, a few things to take note of.

Now, as the Stanmaurlebraugh Islands are a part of Astholm, model sold on the isles will come from inventory typically produced or allocated to Astholm as a whole. Asai has no qualms renaming some of the trim levels for Harwood KSB Automotive as this is regularly done in markets abroad where our model spec and trim levels may need to be adjusted.

As the distributor seeks only specific models and has formulated a market projection that cannot be verified by the Asai team either at our corporate HQ or in Astholm, we request that Harwood KSB Automotive order the vehicles from the aggregated Astholm supply. This is not to say a single model order is necessary so much as Asai is giving Harwood KSB Automotive permission to order factory-direct due to the variation in sales numbers that typically occur.

As these dealerships will not be in the direct employment of an Asai subsidiary, Asai seeks the value of the vehicles minus the cost of advertising and sales location maintenance. As Asai must remain profitable and is protective of its intellectual property, 90% of the revenue must go to Asai – this allows 5% of the vehicle sales revenue to cover Harwood's costs and a 5% profit margin for Harwood. Asai will perform the necessary minor modifications specified by Harwood KSB Automotive with regards to vehicle trim levels.

Thank you for your time and business, we look forward to working with Harwood KSB Automotive.

To Michel Palsant, Chairman of Lilter United,

I would first like to apologize for the delayed response. Data Servers hosting Asai Motors calculation and formula information suffered from unforeseeable data loss.

We are honored to be given the offer of sponsoring Lilter United and, after reviewing the teams top-notch and second-to-none performance, Asai would indeed like to acquire the sponsorship rights to the team.

Asai is immediately prepared to provide financial support for the team and will provide team vehicles. We would like to know what other commitments we may oblige to.

Thank you for your time, we're excited for Lilter United's future success.

Re: Sponsorship

Dear Masoto Mamoru,

I respectfully thank you for your kind response to our request for sponsorship. We understand the reasons for the late reply and the delay has caused us no offence whatsoever. We hope you have been able to recover your data loss and that the event did not effect your ongoing operations significantly.

Please find a detailed proposal below. I sincerely hope you can agree to this commitment which should result in local awareness of the Asai Motors brand reach an all time high, and assist in propelling Asai Motors to a position as the most well known automotive company within Southern Cynocephali.

  • Asai Motors to supply a total of at least 15 vehicles, of Model 6 or 6x (breakdown of models determined by Asai Motors) - for use by club staff and management. Vehicles will be detailed with Lilter United livery and generally maintained by the club. Vehicles will be replaced every two years with new vehicles of the same model (or improved model if one is released).
  • Lilter United staff and management will utilise vehicles from Asai Motors exclusively while on official duties.
  • Lilter United to provide a player to appear in Asai Motors advertising (print and/or television). Asai Motors may choose the player to appear in the advertising at their discretion, although management reserve the right to ensure any advertising commitments do not clash with club duties.
  • Asai Motors will be granted permanent advertising space at the home ground, Bigorre Stadium. This includes advertising hoardings, as well as announcer advertising during stadium broadcasts. Asai Motors will also become the exclusive shirt sponsor of the club, and the logo will appear on the front of both home and away strips.
  • We believe an annual fee of $9,000,000.00, in conjunction with above criteria, is suitable to secure this deal. Lilter United as the premier club in the SCCPL regularly plays in international competitions. The SCCPL is broadcast on the SPIN 11 sports network, and as the champions three seasons running, Lilter United is featured prominently on their broadcasts. Note that under local laws, any monetary payments from foreign companies towards cultural events (of which Lilter Utd/SCCPL qualify) are 100% tax deductible, and will reduce your tax liability from your local dealership network.
  • If you are interested, we are also willing to offer naming rights to Bigorre Stadium. This could be renamed Asai Motors Stadium, or another name of your choice, subject to club approval. The cost for such an arrangement would be an additional $3,500,000.00 above the previously mentioned amount, resulting in a combined total of $12,500,000.00 per annum. This stadium is used on an alternating basis with Waspcroft Stadium, Indica, by the national football team.

I look forward to your favourable reply and hope we can establish an ongoing relationship for the mutual benefit of our organisations.

Yours Faithfully,

Michel Palsant

Dear Michel Palsant,

The Public Relations Department, Financial Management Team, Corporate Board, and myself are all pleasantly surprised by the terms set forth - we were expecting to have a larger obligation, especially financially. We've taken note of the stipulations and seek to meet or exceed them.

  • Asai shall contribute the 15 vehicles required, of which 5 will be Model 6 E250 and 10 will be Model 6X E250. We hope this is agreeable as Asai Motors wishes to showcase its green technology and the club can also say it is in tune with modern environmental issues. Though this is a minor note, it may score some public relations points for both Lilter United and Asai Motors, contributing to a general "feel-good" notion.
  • Asai will respect club commitments and schedules with regards to advertising and player endorsements; the company in no way wishes to be detrimental to the functioning of the club.
  • Asai seeks the endorsement of players in its advertising campaign in Southern Cynocephali and, with the club's permission, make subtle connections between the team's tiger logo and the prowess of Asai vehicles. We wish to associate Asai with the animal not only to show a connection with the team, but also to create a connection with the natural strength, tact, and beauty of the big cat while subconsciously implying ties with the team.
  • We are surprised by the $9,000,000 fee in a positive way - PR thought the figure would be larger. Asai will exceed this figure by an additional $6,000,000, bringing the total to $15,000,000. Asai is also willing to contribute to any health and insurance plans for players and staff.
  • Asai would be honored to purchase and maintain the naming rights of the Bigorre Stadium provided renaming it to "Asai Motors Stadium" does not cause offense to both the club and fans. the $3,500,000 fee is certainly acceptable.

However, we do have one request we feel the club can sympathize with:
  • The creation of a joint Lilter United-Asai Motors charity for underprivileged children. This charity will encourage and provide the means and support for children who wish to play sports but, due to their family's socioeconomic situation, are unable to do so. Asai will front an initial $250,000 to the charity which will be open to public contributions.

We hope the above is to the taste of the Lilter United players and club. We wholeheartedly support our team, it is a great honor for us here at Asai. Go Lilter!

Sincerely,

Masoto Mamoru

To Kingdom of Morovnia,

We have finalized the calculations with regards to dealers and tax revenue. Asai Motors will open 21 dealerships throughout Morovnia with approximately 98 sales per dealership each month for a total of 2,058 sales each month. That's a projection of just under 25 thousand cars each year. Approximately $187,761.08 will be paid in tax each month.

Thank you for your time and business, we look forward to working with Morovnia.
