Founded in 1956 by Marc Labrosse, Aldport Petroleum is the largest oil and gas corporation in Creestahlyia, It is also the 6th-largest energy company and the 25th largest company in the world measured by revenues. Traditionally Aldport Petroleum traces its roots to the 1954 great oil discovery in the city of Aldport, Creestahlyia, which led to the formation of several small oil refineries in the city of Aldport (Aldport Petroleum being the last remaining). When founded AP (Aldport Petroleum) was known as the Trans-Français Petroleum Company (1954-1955). In 1963, Estheliame granted Aldport Petroleum a concession to find oil, and oil was found in 1968. In the early 1970s, AP discovered one of the the world's largest oil fields in the gulf of Estheliame. This discovery increased substantially the revenues of the corporation from $110 billion to $300 billion. This year (2011) AP in cooperation with Energiza inc was granted a concession to find oil and established its 1st foreign inland drilling station in the eastern part of San Pellegrino Romana. Today Aldport Petroleum has operations in over 60 nations, produces around 6.8 million barrels of oil equivalent per day and has 81,556 service stations worldwide. AP it's also among the largest independent supplier of fuel and bio and ultra-low sulphur diesel in Nationstates. AP was rated the best petroleum brand by consumers in Creestahlyia and Estheliame for 31 consecutive years and also enjoys one of the ten highest brand loyalty reputations for petrol worldwide.When ranked by oil and gas reserves it is 12th in the world with close to 3.6% of the total.
