From: Mark Tyler
To: Kristin Becker, VLT Automotive N.V.

Dear Ms. Becker,
I would be interested in working for VLT in some capacity, as the brand seems interesting. I am aware the brand's had some interesting things in its history, namely buying Monteluci, Lepanto and Celsan/Balna/Tydan as its brands and then selling them off. From what I read, the company was fined for their actions, and it was industrial espionage of sorts; Celsan changed their HR procedures as a result.

However, I would like to be employed by VLT, working in product development and marketing; I believe the L5 is an excellent alternative to the Celsan Vextra, which I had tried and found good but it wasn't as good as the L5. Celsan is also a good firm; both VLT and Celsan are good in different ways.

If anything, Celsan had good ideas, but poor implementation for some of them; they did want to use the L3 platform but never got round to it - in any case, they stuck to the old Opel Astra and Mazda 323 designs in some markets for their vehicle platforms. In any case, their 1.4 was adequate, compared to your TCi engine which was more fun to drive.

Celsan didn't seem to fit under VLT at the time; were they poorly managing themselves? They needed to have a line-up similar to yours, rather than relying on a hotchpotch of Chevrolet, Opel, Toyota and their own designs. The Falina is little more than rebodied Opel Astra! As for the Vextra, well it was an Opel Vectra with different bodyshell and different engines.

I would like to know where I could fit in for the group globally; I can travel between Astholm and Van Luxemburg, so travel isn't an issue. I can work in Esch-sur-Alzette if needed.

Although you have stated Astholm is unimportant in the past, it could be more so in the future - some of the developing nations within the region have good prospects for developing and assembling vehicles.

I would be interested in hearing from you soon.

Yours faithfully,
Mark Tyler

Dear Sir,

We wish to notify you that a VLT L8 Coupe with a dividing wall electrochromatic window and intercom system means that access to the rear seats is impossible, as a coupé version only has two doors. We have taken the liberty of amending your order by replacing the four Coupé models with Berline models, four-door saloon cars. This means that the dividing wall can be installed without making access to the rear seats impossible. Should you object to this change or have a different arrangement in mind, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Your order has been noted and the chassis numbers for the following vehicles have been generated and registered in our ICT systems:

4 VLT L8 7.5 V16 Berlienn MY2014
4 VLT L7X 4.0 CD MY2014

Dear Sir,

Thank you for your letter. The delivery of 1870 units of the VLT M5 military logistics vehicle are generally speaking no problem whatsoever for our facilities, and we expect to be able to complete delivery well within the given time of 5 years; delivery could be spread out over 5 years if that is desired. Monthly or yearly batches can be arranged.

Do note that the M5 has a great number of options and possibilities, including more powerful engines, uparmouring, crew luxuries and many others. As the request for quotation was not specified further, we will quote the base vehicle, which is a four-wheel driven vehicle with a 280 horsepower VLT 6-cylinder engine. Should you wish for more load capacity, it is recommended that the vehicle is fitted with 6x6 or 8x8 drive and a more powerful engine, such as the 470 horsepower VLT 6-cylinder or 700 horsepower VLT V8.

Nevertheless, for the base vehicle, we would come to the following quote:

1870 VLT M5 280PS 4x4 STANDARD à $295,000: $551,650,000
Bulk order, 1000+:-$41,650,000
GRAND TOTAL: $510,000,000

Should you have any further questions, do not hesitate to contact us. Hoping to have sufficiently informed you,

Kind regards,

The governement of Autism is interested in your vehicules for the Department of Public Safety. We would like to purchase 60 of the l2 for regular use. For the fire departments, we would like to know if you can modify the trucks in order to turn them into fire trucks. The C4 and C6 seem like a good base for pimper/ladder truckes. The C7 light van for an urban ambulance. The government of Autism is interested in the M5 truck as well. More to follow.

To: Kristin Becker, VLT Automotive N.V.
Dear Ms. Becker,
We at VLT AutomotiveAstholm Fiji Harwela were planning to cease operations after 2 years on the market as sales have currently been below expectations for the range, despite our best efforts at marketing, promotions and sales. However, the local management have decided to hold back on this and go straight to head office in Esch-sur-Alzette.

This is a small-to-medium-sized nation, and VLT has not managed to sell well against the other brands here currently, as we used to have fairly good sales but we need to try and keep it going.

Our total sales figures for last month:

L1 - 20
L2 - 4000
L3 - 9282
L5 - 6282 (saloon), 7043 (station wagon), 125 (coupe)
L6 - 5540 (saloon)
L5X - 1640
L5S - 1250
L7X - 45 (2.7 TCi-6), 60 (3.0 TCi-6), 15 (3.5 TCi-8), 45 (3.0 CD), 22 (4.0 CD)

Although we are a smallish island nation, this is still an issue that needs resolving; sales have been declining for the past month or so.
I am not sure how to proceed with the situation, before deciding where to go next.

I accept our market may not be an important one to you, but the area it is in will become newly industrialised over the next few years, it has become industrialised a lot over the past decade, and in an ideal world would not want to cease trading, but sales need to improve, and this is through no fault of our own, we had a good marketing campaign. I do not know whether we should stay or leave and as such turn it over to yourselves.

I have a VLT L6 GT, and it is an impressive vehicle to drive, more fun than my last car, a Ford Taurus SHO, which was good but not quite as good as the L6. However, I cannot let my personal opinions get in the way of business; as it were, I am thinking of emigrating to Van Luxemburg to work possibly in VLT on promotions and marketing of vehicles, I have done this for other firms in my 23 years in the business.

Thank you for your time.

Kind regards,
John Simpkins

Dear Sir/Madam,

Thank you for your letter. The order for 60 VLT L2 1.4 TCi GT has been registered in our ICT systems, and the chassis numbers will be allocated as quickly as possible. Delivery will take place within four months.

For the firetrucks, we would warmly recommend making use of the VLT C3, which can be delivered as a pumper truck and as a ladder (a hydraulic platform vehicle is commonly delivered in Van Luxemburg). This vehicle has been in common use with Van Luxemburger fire departments for many years, to full satisfaction. If necessary, the vehicles can be delivered with a number of options, including high-pressure hoses and foam-based fire extinguishing systems.

As for ambulances, VLT delivers a ready-made solution in the form of the C7-based EMV7. This vehicle, constructed by Collux in cooperation with Brutland and Norden, is available from a price of $180,000 and can be delivered with a number of extra options.

Should you have any further questions, do not hesitate to contact us. Hoping to have sufficiently informed you,

(OOC: To be absolutely honest, I have no idea. My form only asks for estimated sales figures, and even those haven't been recorded by me for the past few years. Having sold cars since 2006, with 5 different storefront versions spread over two different forums (the pre-2009 Jolt forums and the current NS forums) and now also Monteluci split into a different storefront, it is virtually impossible to give you a reliable estimate of sales per year, especially since a number of countries have of course ceased to exist since they applied. The last reliable estimate I have was a figure of 1.5 billion cars per year in 2009.)

To: Diamond Star Automative
From: Sir Henry Walters, Secretary of Transportation & James Boyle, Director of the National Transportation Services Administration

Dear Sir or Madame(s),

Pursuant to the declatory articles of the National Economic Stimulus Act passed last month, the Department of Transportation has been searching for foreign corporations to court and to set up business in the Kingdom; both in an effort to help pick up the slack that has been left behind by failing Sylvanean businesses and to curb the growing unemployment rate of experienced workers. With the failure of the Kingdom's two largest automotive companies in the last year, we have already found one investor to come in to fill the void, and we would like the second to be VLT Automotive. Attached to this letter you will find a Distribution application form.

In addition to this, the fleet of buses operated by our NSTA are decades old and not adequate for the public transportation demand. Because of this, we would also like to place an order for 850 C5 buses, specifically the C5-LE 14M model, with all of the offered additions, for the total cost of ₤ 290,105,000

Signed,

Sir Henry Walters

As you are no doubt aware, the Greater Vakolicci Haven is not a small country, streching across multiple regions, with various climates and, most importantly, very fast, computer-controlled road networks.
For this reason, I would like to report to you that sales of the Vlt L1, the self-styled 'city car,' were under 200 last year, a 1000 % gap to its closest competetor in all of your ranges.
For this reason, as Della Barecci United Conglomerated Holdings Corporation is the largest company in the Greater Vakolicci Haven, and one of the largest in the world, it is simply not economical for us to stock this model any more.

Although we appreciate your wish to keep your range intact, you must understand that the Vakolicci have no need for small vehicles, as being able to duck in and out of traffic is not our need.

I hope you will not, therefore, be concerned with the removal of this model from the Della Barecci dealerships, and we hope to have good business with your company in the future.
Hoping this letter finds you well,
Miralim Tranjic.

To whom it may concern,

The armed forces of our nation is facing yet another major logistical issue despite our previous order of VLT M5's. The issue is we simply don't have enough vehicles and are willing to secure additional vehicles at any cost. Below is our request that we hope can be fulfilled as soon as possible.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

---- 12,501 VLT M5's With the following modifications

12-speed VLT tiptronic transmission: +$2800
Rigid truck chassis, 8x8: +$11,200
Integrated armour kit (STANAG 4569 Level 3, 7.62mm NATO, Mines: Level 4):+$210,000
Radio/CD/MP3 player 4x40W: +$200
Satellite Navigation system ( military-grade, 2DIN): +$5400
Air Conditioning system: +$700
Long cabin (+2 bunk beds/4 passengers): +$1800
Auxiliary Power Unit (APU): +$3200
Winch (Rear, max 50000 lbs/22,670 kg): +$10,000

Also considering the base price of each truck , the entire cost of our order should come out to $6,754,290,300 .

With kind regards,
The Bohemian Ministry Of Defense
