The Mk. III has been very successful in tests. The soldiers who tested the rifle loved it. It is slightly lighter than the M14, has a more modern look yet retains one of dignity, has an automatic setting which will help keep us in the game, and has the option of a folding stock. That said, the War Ministry and Cabinet have decided make the Mk. III the official rifle of the Confederacy. Due to expenses, however, we ask for a production license. Give us a price for it, and we'll see what we can do. We look forward to continuing business with you.

Softham Arsenal,
Your publication has reached the attention of the Federal Republic of Inzijard, and it is with great interest that I am writing you today. On behalf of the Welfare State, I wish to present the following offer to your esteemed enterprise, with the hope that we may mutually benefit each other on any term scale.
The Federal Republic of Inzijard is a small, aspiring, first-world nation built upon the preservation of humanity and its dignity while opposing the morally and economically corrupt shackles of modern capitalism. It is for this reason that our nation has elected to remain isolated socially, politically, and economically to the greatest extent of the term, and take the time to responsibly and meticulously scrutinize all candidates for long-term business partnerships before extending a hand.
On this occasion, our nation finds itself in need of armored materiel. With an aging fleet of Soviet-acquired BMP-3 IFV and T-72 main battle tanks, in addition to increasing threats of domestic insurgency, the Federal Republic have begun to seek new venues in which our capacity to protect our infrastructure from aggression, foreign or otherwise, may be improved. To this end, the following offer is yours to consider:
50 Domestic Production License, SA-16N Ermine-N Main Battle Tank
25 SA-16N Ermine-N Main Battle Tank
25 SA-16H Ermine-H Main Battle Tank
25 SA-16 Ermine-A Main Battle Tank
15 SPH-7 Caiman 160mm Self-Propelled Gun
__________________________________NS $545,000,000
NS $223,250,000 (units discounted 65%)
All quantities delivered by sea within 3 weeks.
Payment in full will be tendered via national monetary reserve directly and immediately upon confirmation of this transaction, should it occur. I will await your response and receipt, and will consider investing more heavily in your operations should your services satisfy our high standards of foreign business.
In good faith,
Vladimir Yetsof

Softham Arsenal,
On behalf of president and state, I appreciate your hastened reply and find this agreement to be suitable. Our initial intention had, at one time, been to field the larger class on the battlefield while reserving its lesser counterpart for field exercise and domestic operation, but have considered a more efficient approach for the purposes of this transaction and reduced overall maintenance. Our revised order is as follows:
100 Domestic Production License, SA-16N Ermine-N Main Battle Tank
25 SA-16N Ermine-N Main Battle Tank
15 SA-16 Ermine-A Main Battle Tank
15 SPH-7 Caiman 160mm Self-Propelled Gun
__________________________________NS $395,000,000
NS $203,250,000 (units discounted 65%)
All quantities delivered by sea within 2 weeks.
Preceding the finalization of this order, it would be in our best interest to know if these units are capable of mounting the 12.7mm Kord machine gun and/or 7.62mm PKT machine gun armaments in either coaxial or tertiary configuration respectively.
In good faith,
Kirill Lubimov

I'm glad that a license is available, but the price seems a bit excessive. If you haven't noticed, Galonica has a rather sizeable military and the license would help. Is it possible in any way to negotiate the price?

The SA-20 "Ermine-R" Main Battle Tank has been selected as the replacement for Yanintovia's ageing fleet of obsolete tanks. Therefore, we wish to purchase the Domestic Productions Rights for 500,000 (five hundred thousand) units, for a total cost of 250,000,000,000 (two hundred and fifty billion) Standard Dollars. Due to the large size of such a purchase, we wish to pay the sum over a period of 5 years, in 60 (one per month) payments of 4,000,000,000 (four billion) to 4,500,000,000 (four point five billion) Standard Dollars. We thank you kindly and hope that this payment plan is acceptable.

To whom it may concern,
The United Republic has been impressed by the capabilities of the Type 270 Ark Royal class CVN as well as the Supermarine Sea Kestrel F5 fighter jets. The aircraft carriers fit our navy's needs as a modern blue-water navy, and the fighter jets satisfy the requests from the UR Navy and Marine Corps to replace legacy F/A-18C/D fighters and AV-8B Harriers. The new fighters would be designated as F-37 JMFs in UR service as per DoD Aerospace Vehicle Designation protocols.
Complete Order
15x Ark Royal class carriers - $105 billion
480x Supermarine Sea Kestrel F5 fighters (baseline TVN) - $57.6 billion
340x Supermarine Sea Kestrel F5 fighters (VTOL) - $40.8 billion
Total cost: $203.4 billion
However, due to the immense cost and large procurement order, we are requesting a discount on the items purchased. In addition, we are requesting to pay the total cost in the form of yearly installments over the next twenty years.
Thank you for your consideration.

We would like to express our interest in procuring 300 units of the 'FN Rougecote FGR Mk III' battle rifle as part of trials to select the Rodesian Army's next standard issue rifle, for a total of 131,250 NSD, after factoring in the discount. The full sum shall be wired into an account within the banking institution of your choice within one hour of receipt of order. Additionally, we ask that 100 of the rifles be chambered in 7.7x57mm Lucknow, another 100 in 7.5x55mm GP11, and the last 100 in 7.62x51mm NATO, so that we may determine which cartridge is best suited to our needs, and would like all 300 of the rifles to feature folding stocks and synthetic furniture, if possible. Also, we would like to inquire as to whether the rifle can be fitted with picatinny rails, and the added cost that this would bring.
Sincerely,
